Previously on Pokémon Black and White, Ash and his friends went into the Pinwheel Forest. While traveling, Misty and Hilda got separated from the rest of the group, and while separated Hilda caught a Venipede. Luckily the rest of the group found them and they are now on their way out of the forest.
Today, our heroes are just about to leave the Pinwheel Forest and are headed for the Skyarrow Bridge.
The group exited the forest and saw the Skyarrow Bridge.
"Woah," said Ash amazed "That bridge is huge."
"It is." agreed Brock "And we are going to cross it, so we can get to Castelia City."
"Hey Ash, let's race through this bridge." suggested Nate.
"You're on!" agreed Ash.
"Hold on!" said Max "Shouldn't we stick together?"
"Come on Max." said Misty "Let the two Ashes have their fun, besides, I don't see how someone can get lost on a bridge."
The group arrived at the bridge.
"I feel like this is going to take a while to get across." stated Dawn.
"Doesn't bother me." said Nate "Come on Ash."
"Alright," said Ash "I'm going to beat you, right Pikachu?"
"Pika!" agreed Pikachu
Pikachu jumped on Ash's shoulder, then Ash and Nate began running across the bridge.
"We better catch up with them." said Hilda.
The others began walking too, but they weren't moving as fast as Ash and Nate.
While Ash and Nate were running, the two of them started to get tired, and the two of them fell down, because they were out of breath.
"Nate," said Ash "I don't think we've even made it halfway."
"How big is this bridge?" asked Nate.
"I have no idea." Ash replied.
Meanwhile, Team Rocket is flying their balloon over the bridge. Jessie pulled out some binoculars and looked down at the bridge.
"I see the twerps." said Jessie.
"Let me have a look" said James.
James looked through the binoculars and saw Ash and Nate.
"I see Pikachu," exclaimed James. "But why are they just laying down?"
"Well," said Meowth "If they are just laying down, that gives us an advantage."
Back at the bridge, the rest of the group was seen walking.
"I wonder if Ash and Nate have made it to the end yet." questioned Hilda.
"No," explained Brock "I'm sure they'll be out of breath before then."
"Does Ash always do this?" asked Hilda.
"Yes!" Misty, Brock, Tracey, May, Max and Dawn all yelled at once.
"Piplup!" said Piplup.
"I guess Piplup knows Ash pretty well too." said Hilda.
"Yes." answered Dawn.
The group continued walking and they saw Ash and Nate on the ground.
"What happened?" asked Misty "I thought you two were racing."
"We're to tired..." explained Ash.
"...To keep running." explained Nate.
"You two are so lame sometimes." said Hilda.
"How about you two get up and we'll walk the rest of the way." suggested Tracey.
Ash and Nate got back up immediately after hearing Tracey.
"No!" yelled Ash "I need to beat him to the end."
"No, I need to win!" explained Nate.
Ash and Nate were about to run off but then they saw an explosion in front of them.
The smoke from the explosion wore off and Team Rocket was in sight.
"Prepare for trouble!" said Jessie.
"And make it double!" said James.
"To protect the world from devastation!" said Jessie.
"To unite all people within our nation!" said James.
"To denounce the evils of truth and love!" said Jessie.
"To extend our reach to the stars above!" said James.
"Jessie!" said Jessie.
"James!" said James.
"Team Rocket blast off at the speed of light!" said Jessie.
"Surrender now or prepare to fight!" said James.
"Meowth, that's right!" said Meowth.
"What do you guys want this time?" asked May.
"Will you guys ever give up?" asked Tracey.
"This shouldn't concern you." said Jessie.
"Give us Pikachu or this bridge explodes!" explained James.
"Why is it always Pikachu?" asked Hilda "There are so many out there that don't belong to anyone."
"Because we specifically want that Pikachu!" explained Meowth.
"I will never give up Pikachu!" defended Ash.
"Well to bad!" said Jessie pulling out a new invention "With this electricity detector, we will can take Pikachu like a magnet."
"Say goodbye to Pikachu." said James.
Jessie turned on the detector and it began pulling Pikachu away.
"Pika!" screamed Pikachu.
"Pikachu!" screamed Ash.
"Don't worry Ash," said Nate "I'll save him, Charmander, use flamethrower."
Nate's Charmander used flamethrower on the detector, but it didn't do anything.
"Ha!" said Jessie "You didn't think we would use something that you could easily destroy, did you?"
Team Rocket got back in the balloon with Pikachu and started flying away.
"Don't worry," said May "I have an idea, come on out Blaziken!"
Blaziken came out of the Pokéball.
"But May," said Ash "I thought it was immune to fire."
"That's not my plan" said May "Blaziken, use sky uppercut on the balloon, then grab Pikachu while you're at it."
"Blaziken!" said Blaziken nodding his head.
Blaziken did as commanded and got Pikachu back and handed him to Ash. At the same time, Team Rocket's balloon blasted off.
"Looks like Team Rocket's blasting off again!" screamed Team Rocket.
Ash hugged Pikachu, and they continued walking across the bridge.
"Return Blaziken!" commanded May.
The group made it across the bridge and arrived in Castelia City.
"Alright, everyone." said Brock "Let's go to the Pokémon Center first before doing anything else."
The group went inside the Pokémon Center, and as soon as they walked in, Brock began flirting with Nurse Joy. Hilda jumped on his shoulders and knocked him over as soon as he did it.
"I need to get ahold of my father" said Nate to Nurse Joy.
"Go ahead." allowed Nurse Joy. "The phone is on your left."
Nate began making the call and his father answered.
"Hello Nate." said his father "How is everything?"
"Things have been great dad." said Nate.
"That's good." said his father "Do you remember the rules?"
"Call you at every Pokémon Center, stay with the group and no Team Plasma encounters." answered Nate.
"Good." said his father "Enjoy your journey."
"Say hi to Mom for me." requested Nate.
"I will remember to do that." said his father.
The call ended.
Meanwhile Hilda walked over to Dawn and May.
"Hey May, can I talk to one of you?" asked Hilda.
"Sure," said May "What for."
"Dawn," said Hilda "Do you mind, I need to talk to her."
"That's fine." said Dawn "I was gonna go to the bathroom anyway."
"You do that." said Hilda.
Dawn left to do so.
"What do you need to talk to me about?" asked May.
"What do you think of me and Tracey?" asked Hilda.
"Like as a relationship?" asked May.
"Yes." answered Hilda.
"Tracey isn't really interested in relationships." said May "But I can talk to him if you want me to."
"Please do it!" begged Hilda.
"Alright," said May "I will."
"Thank you." thanked Hilda
"No problem," said May "But I can't make any promises."
May walked over to Tracey.
"Hi May," said Tracey.
"Hey Tracey," said May "Can we talk?"
"Sure," said Tracey "About what?"
"Hilda." answered May.
"What about Hilda?" asked Tracey.
"What do you think of her?" asked May.
"She's cute," explained Tracey "And I like how she takes interest in my career in Pokémon watching."
"That's great." said May "Would you go out with her?"
"I can't answer that right now." said Tracey.
Tracey left not wanting to continue the conversation. Then Hilda walked over to May.
"What did he say?" asked Hilda.
"He thinks you're cute." said May.
"Yes!" screamed Hilda.
Meanwhile Ash and Pikachu walked outside the Pokémon Center to take a look at the city, while doing so they saw the wild Squirtle walk inside the Pokémon center.
"It looks like Squirtle is still following us." said Ash.
"Pika!" said Pikachu.
"Hey Pikachu," said Ash "Are you ready for the next gym battle?"
"Pikachu!" said Pikachu.
"We've still got a lot to go on this journey." said Ash "And I'm still excited."
Just then, Dawn walked out.
"Oh hey Dawn." said Ash "How about you sit down with me."
Dawn blushed, Ash wasn't the reason she came outside. She didn't know he was outside, but she took a seat next to him anyway.
"Hi." said Dawn "What are you doing out here?"
"I'm just to excited to be inside right now." explained Ash.
"I see." said Dawn.
"Why are you out here?" asked Ash.
"I had some things I needed to think about." explained Dawn.
"Well you can talk to me if you need to." said Ash.
"Thank you." thanked Dawn "You're a good friend."
Ash started feeling awkward about talking to her.
"Hey, I have an idea." said Dawn
Dawn let out her Buneary to play with Pikachu. The two of them hugged and began to play around.
"The two of them need to spend more time together." explained Dawn.
Ash didn't know how to respond, he just looked at Dawn not knowing what to say. He found her to be very attractive, and it was starting to distract him, he wanted to keep talking but he couldn't.
"Are you okay?" asked Dawn.
"Yeah," said Ash "I'm fine."
"Well," said Dawn "If you ever want to talk, just let me know, we can always get away from everyone else if you need to."
Dawn was about to go back inside, but Ash stopped her.
"Dawn, wait." requested Ash.
"Do you need something?" asked Dawn.
"I just want to say you look beautiful." complimented Ash.
Dawn blushed.
"Thanks Ash." thanked Dawn "You look good too, why don't you come back inside with me?"
"Alright." said Ash "But first, can I hug you?"
"Of course." accepted Dawn.
The two of them hugged and they went back inside along with Pikachu and Buneary.
The group all got together at a table and began talking.
"Why don't we play cards?" suggested Brock.
Everyone else agreed and they all began playing.
And so, they are finally at Castelia City and Ash's next gym battle is soon to happen. Will he win or will he lose? What will come of the relationships between him and his friends. Find out on the next exciting episode of Pokémon Black and White!
