At ten Naruto and Amayah activated their night vision and descended down the side of the cliff and crept through the forest. When they reached the edge Naruto drew a Fūin Kunai: Fūzui Fūin from his pocket and threw it at the guards' feet. The guards heard a 'thunk' as it stuck in the ground and tried to look for the source, but it was too late, the kunai had done its work. Amayah said, "Okay, great. They're paralysed. Now what?"

Naruto grinned and said?" You just watch." He did a sequence of handseals and said, "Kyūkyoku Shīru: Mahi Kōsoku." The marks on the ground crept up the legs of the two guards and wrapped around their limbs. Naruto looked at Amayah and said, "Cool, right?"

Amayah said, "Okay, maybe, but now what?"

"I'll show you," Naruto said, and flicked a kunai up in the air that spun in place as Amayah saw Naruto disappear in a flash. She blinked in surprise and then looked back to the guards, remembering that he'd said something about a transportation seal attached to his kunai. But neither he, nor the guards were there. She jumped and just barely stopped herself from shrieking when she heard, "What are you looking at?" from behind her.

Amayah said, "Let me guess. You haven't told anyone about that either?"

"What? I've gotta keep some things for myself. Besides, I'm pretty sure that at least one of the other seal makers has figured it out, or, at least should have anyway."

Amayah sighed and said, "What'll I do with you?"

"One of the guards said, "How about you tell us what you'll do with us first?"

"Oh, right! You're there, huh?" Amayah said, feigning forgetfulness. She looked at Naruto and said, "You know, they do have a point."

Naruto said, "You said something about interior locks, right?"

"Yeah. Why?"

"These guys are the gatekeepers. It only stands to reason that they should have a full set of keys, right?"

"That makes sense. So, which one do you want?"

Naruto said, "I'll take ugly over here," nodding to the one closest to him.

"You do realise that they're both ugly, right?"

The one nearest Amayah said, "Hey! We're right here you know?"

"What's you…hey! You can talk!"

"Of course I can talk. Why wouldn't I be able to?"

Amayah looked at Naruto and said, "You used a Fūzui Fūin, right?"

"The kunai was, yes. But the Kyūkyoku Shīru: Mahi Kōsoku, is a binding seal. It gains its effects by wrapping around the target's limbs and holding them in place. Since that's the case, it still lets them move their jaws, unlike the original form."

"I see. That's pretty nifty."

"Yeah. Especially for what we need," Naruto said as they started to search through the guards' pockets. Eventually they both found a full set of keys.

Amayah held her set up and said, "Well, this' great. Now what?"

"Beats me. Don't you have any experience in this?"

"Hmm…I suppose the first thing that we need to do is find out if both sets are identical." They flipped through them and found that they were the same. "Okay, they're the same. Now, let's go."

"Hmm…" Naruto said, having kept an eye on both guards the whole time, which let him notice the sigh of relief that they let out when Amayah assumed that they were done. "…actually, I've got an idea."

"Oh? What would that be"?" Amayah asked as if she didn't have the exact same idea.

"We can just ask these guys."

"Oh yeah. Good idea."

"So, who do you think that we should ask first?"

"Hmm…" Amayah said, tapping her chin.

"Ugly #1, or Ugly #2?" Naruto suggested pointing at first one guards, then the other.

"Well, if you look at it that way, I guess Ugly #2 looks good to go first."

"Okay then," Naruto said, walking over to Ugly #2. He held up one of the keys and said, "So, Ugly #2, what does this key unlock?" tugging on his chin with his other hand to make him look at him.

"I'm not gonna tell you shit, boy!"

Naruto said, "You know what? I believe you." Naruto activated his Hidden Weapon System, causing the wristblade to shoot up, the tip bursting through the top of Ugly #2's skull, some drops of blood splashing on Naruto's face. He then crossed to the guard's partner and tugged on his chin, forcing him to look up at him. He said, "So, are you going to tell me what I want to know, or will you join your partner in death?" After that, Naruto couldn't get the guy to stop talking. In the end, he had to use a 'knockout seal' that he had bought from Suna's Hospital after he'd given them their latest batch of heat and cool seals. After that was done, Naruto looked at Amayah and said, "So, you ready?"

"Yeah," Amayah said, "though after what that guy just told us, I'd say that I have the easier job."

"Maybe," Naruto said. "But it's also going ot be the boring one too."

"Maybe so, but then again, who needs interesting?"

"Let me take out the wall guards before you make your move, alright?"

"Sure," Amayah said as Naruto moved off.

Amayah saw Naruto scale the wall with his chakra and peek over the edge. He saw one guard in each corner and one in between for a total of eight guards on the wall. Naruto made a single handseal and thought, 'Suiton: Mizu Bunshin no jutsu.' Seven clones ran off around the wall, taking up positions beneath each of the guards.

As Naruto got into position, inside Tazuna's house, Natsuki woke up and sat up in bed, gasping, "Naruto!" She then practically launched herself from her bed and got dressed in her shinobi clothes, her detached sleeves hiding armguards and a hidden kunai mechanism. Finally she strapped on her belt that had the two chakra blades that she had received from Mikoto just prior to coming on their mission.

Sakura woke up when she heard the two chakra blades clink together and rubbed her eyes as she sleepily said, "Natsuki, what're you doi,…" but fell back asleep when she saw feathers start to fall from the ceiling.

Natsuki whispered, "Sorry Sakura, but Naruto is doing something insane and he's going to need me. Goodbye." She then crept through the dark house, idly noting that she was now imitating her brother's actions from all those years ago.

When she exited the house she found Kakashi standing outside the door. he said, "So, you aregoing then?"

"Yeah," Natsuki sombrely said. Then, in a tone that Kakashi hadn't heard in years, she said, "Don't try to stop me."

Kakashi sighed and said, "I probably couldn't, even if I wanted to. Don't worry about tomorrow either. I've arranged a temporary replacement for you."

"Really? Who?"

Kakashi said, "Another one of the genin on your brother's team, along with their jōnin instructor."

"Okay," Natsuki said before she ran off, headed in a straight line towards her brother and whatever trouble he had managed to land himself in this time.

Naruto and his clones topped the wall behind their respective guard and kicked the back of one of their knees, bringing them down to their level and cutting their throats with a kunai before they could cry out. Once they were down, Naruto dispelled the four corner clones and, along with the other three, went back down the outside of the wall that they were on. He had the clones kill the remaining gate guards and dispel themselves while he carved a class two explosive seal that was more noise than blast, but, when he detonated it, while hiding behind a tree, the door splintered into pieces. It had the desired effect, causing one of the on duty guards to ring a bell, calling all the guards to their location. In the end it was kind of pointless as they were already on their way.

When they were assembled, Naruto walked up to the empty gate and said, "Hi," loud enough so even the guards in the back could hear him. "I don't suppose that you'd…ya know, just let me pass through so I can kill your boss?"

Naruto heard mutterings throughout the guard cohort that, more or less, added up to 'is he mad?' one of the guards said, "No way! It's just some gaki! Attack!" all of the guards rushed Naruto, who merely walked forward letting the guards circle around him. Then, when the guards started to swing their swords down on him, they all flew back, away from Naruto and into the ranks of the guards, many of which already had their swords drawn and in the ready position, which pierced through their fellow guards like they weren't even there. As they tried to get their fellow guards off of their swords, Naruto forced a kunai either into their brain, or cut their throat before the mercenary army got over their surprise and realised that this was no ordinary brat and got ready for the fight of their lives, because they realised that it was also for their lives.

Meanwhile, Amayah had circled around the back and got ready to pick the lock, but she saw that Naruto had detonated a small explosive seal, destroying only the lock, leaving the rest of the door intact. She slowly opened the door, peeking through the crack to see if Naruto's explosion had done the job. Seeing that it had indeed, she opened the door fully and went through. Thanks to her partner's assault on the main gate, there were no guards behind her door, or anywhere else for that matter. With nothing in her way, Amayah quickly crossed the bailey and went into the house within, unlocking the backdoor using the key that the guard had told her was the correct one. She muttered, "Meisaigakure no jutsu," bending the light around her, disappearing from sight.

She was lucky that she did as, at that moment, Gatō and his fat, ugly, 'lady friend', came down the stairs and went into the room above where she had been told the room that the documents should be in. she thought, 'Score! This'll be easier than I thought it'd be.' Unfortunately, she was proved very, very, wrong as when she entered the room neither Gatō, nor his lady friend were there. She sighed and said, "Well, here goes…" and started looking in every cliché place that she could think of that had even the slightest chance of opening up a secret entrance.

Meanwhile, outside, Naruto carved a seal onto his kunai and plunged it into a man's skull and kicked him back amongst his colleagues and performed a Kawarimi, using one of the men from the first rank behind him and thrust his hands out to the side, activating both of his wristblades and stabbing them through multiple organs before retracting them and deploying two kunai to replace the ones that he had left in corpses on the other side of the circle of death. He blocked an overhead slash with one of them before he disembowelled the attacker at the same time as he redirected a thrust from the right into a guard that was rushing him from the left. He made a handseal, which caused the explosive seal that he had put on his kunai to explode, taking out about fifteen of the mercenaries behind him.

Naruto then threw one of his kunai at them and said, "Fūin Kunai: Fūin Bunshin, and took out another twenty five or so. As he was doing that though, the three closest mercenaries had swung their swords at him, one from his front and one from either side, preventing him from dodging and escaping their attack. But he merely ducked under their swords, letting them fly over his head. The two rear swordsmen almost bisecting the frond guard. Naruto thrust his hands towards the rear attackers, who had actually moved forward slightly, so they were now standing at his side and activated his wristblades, piercing through their skin. Unlike last time though, this time he channelled his chakra through them and stepped forward, ripping the blades out through the guards' backs. He thrust them into a guard in front of him before retracting them. Then he disappeared in a flash, teleporting himself to one of the kunai that he had left in the corpse of one of the mercenaries to his right and men went flying, some onto swords behind them, others into the backs of allies.

All this time someone was watching from a window on the first floor. Surprised by the blonde's moves, having come across someone that fought very similarly what seemed an age ago. Then he saw something that he thought just made the scene kind of scary. A girl that had swirling red hair came through the destroyed gate and, from the killer intent that she was letting off, she was pissed. Royally. She laid into the back of the enemy like a red tornado, cutting into, and out of, mercenary after mercenary, catching their blades with her hair before pivoting and disembowelling them before she moved onto the next, not caring one bit how red her blades were becoming.

Once Natsuki had arrived, it took about half an hour for them to wipe the floor with the mercenaries, no match for either sibling alone, let alone together. When they were done, Natsuki rounded on Naruto and yelled, "What the hell!?" her eyes white with rage.

Meanwhile, Amayah was rooting around in the room that she had followed Gatō into, looking in, and under, everything that she could. After about ten minutes of doing that, she glared at a portrait hanging on the wall and said, "'The heck're you looking at, huh?" and picked up an oddly shaped…thing…and threw it at the painting, expecting it to just hit it and then bounce back off. It didn't. Instead it tore straight through the image and kept going. Amayah's right eyebrow shot up as she said, "Oh? I wasn't expecting that."

Amayah walked over to the picture and clasped her left hand over her right and said, "Hyōton: Kunai," generating a kunai as she spread her hands apart. When it was done, she used it to tear around all of the corners of the picture, revealing what lay beneath. It was an elevator shaft. She thought, 'Well, this explains why nothing was on the plans.' She then jumped to the other side of the shaft and grabbed onto it with her chakra. Once she had stabilised herself she stood up and walked down the side of the elevator shaft.

When she reached the elevator she let go of her chakra and pushed herself up off the elevator. She said, "Right," and brought her kunai in front of her in her right hand. She slid her left hand along its length, saying, "Hyōton: Sai Tanzō Katana!" transforming the kunai into a katana that had an eyehole at the tip of its handle. She said, "Fūton: Kassō Tsume!" streaming wind chakra into her blade. She then cut through the elevator roof with ease before letting herself fall through.

The door was open, so she walked straight through and marvelled at the sight set before her. Gatō had lined the entranceway with jewel-encrusted gold! She thought, 'What is all this?"! That hall alone could probably feed most of the Land of Wave for a year! Why would he…well, Naruto-kun did say that this guy was greedy, but even so, there should be some limits!'

Fūin kunai: Fūzui Fūin(Sealed Kunai: Paralysis Seal)

The user channels some chakra into the kunai to activate it. Upon activation the seal analyses the user's chakra and makes anyone possessing it immune to the seal's effect, then they throw the kunai. When the seal makes contact with a solid surface, a black seal array forms with the kunai at the centre, preventing anything from moving within its range, which is determined by the amount of chakra used when activating it.

Kyūkyoku Shīru: Mahi Kōsoku(Ultimate Seal Paralytic Restraint)

the Kyūkyoku Shīru: Mahi Kōsoku, is a binding seal. It gains its effects by wrapping around the target's limbs and holding them in place.

Nokkuauto Fūin(Knockout Seal)

Induces a temporary coma, of which the duration is set on the seal itself. It is usually used to keep patients immobile after undergoing serious surgery, or to keep them immobile if needed for recovery. The one that Naruto uses against Ugly #1 is set for twenty four hours.

Natsuki

Nehan Shōja no Jutsu(Temple of Nirvana Technique)

It is a powerful genjutsu that generates a fluttering rain of sleep-inducing, illusory white feathers. Whoever sees them as they fall, piling up and covering the whole target area, will experience Eden-like bliss and fall into a state of tranquil slumber. No matter how much one resists the hypnotic spell, the desire to sleep is instinctive, and there's no fighting it.

Hyōton: Sai Tanzō Katana(Ice Release: Reforged Katana)

A Hyōton technique where the user turns one object into another, similar, one(i.e. a kunai into a katana).

Fūton: Kassō Tsume (Wind Release: Gliding Claw)
