K51: WHOOO! We are back guys! The Clan's Rebirth returns in the Shippuden Arc. I'm so excite to see Zesu kick the crap out of all of the missing-nin.

Zesu: Aw thanks dude. That is gonna be awesome! I can't wait to beat all of them!

Naruto: Ahem!

Zesu: Huh, what?

Naruto: I'm right here teme!

Zesu: Yeah and?

Naruto: I'm just as strong as you. What? You forget I have a massive ball of chakra in my system.

Kyuubi: I have a name you gaki.

Naruto: Yeah Yeah. But we should get some respect y'know?

K51: Naruto, you have two shows named after you! I think that's enough!

Naruto: I guess.

K51: Whatever. Here is the new chapter. Last time we left off, Zesu/Naruto/Sakura/Kakashi were issued their mission and left the office. Here we go KAZEKAGE RESCUE ARC GO!

Chapter 21: Mission Start!

I left the office in a flash, appearing at the apartment and shocking Hakura with the sudden appearance. She was lying on the couch reading till I came back. The book now fluttered to the floor as she quirked an eye at me; her red hair disheveled over her face. "Zesu? What is it? You look….tense?" I stormed past her, kicking open the bedroom door to gather supplies with Hakura on pursuit. "Zesu-koi, talk to me! I can't help when you don't." I whipped around to glare at her, accidentally sending a wave of KI to her. The result was she moved back slightly, her eyes widened at my sudden action. "Zesu…" My gaze softened before appearing closer and my arms around her. I kissed her head and softly spoke. "Im sorry. Just…the mission is to rescue the Kazekage. You remember Gaara?" I felt her nod. "You mean the red-haired boy next to the other Kages?" I nodded myself and resumed my explanation. "He is a Jinchūriki like Naruto. He has a bijū in him. The one-tailed Shukaku." I felt her gasp and look up at me wide eyed. "No. Then they have only eight more." I shook my head, causing her to grow confused. "We still don't know if they extracted the bijū yet. We might have time." She nodded to me before planting a passionate kiss that lasted for a good few minutes. When we separated, she pointed to the supplies I was previously gathering. "Now go get em tiger."

~At the Konoha gates~

I appeared at the gates, seeing Naruto, Kakashi, Sakura and surprisingly, Jiraiya and Tsuanade. It seemed a conversation had just ended as I arrived so I shrugged. "Am I late?" Kakashi waved a hand at me. "Are my tendencies rubbing off on you?" I rubbed the back of my head and chuckled. "Naw Hatake. I just had something at home to take care of." Sakura gave me a look over and raised her brow. "Zesu? Where's your stuff?" I nodded before raising a finger for her to wait. I slowly pulled up the jacket I was wearing, to Sakura and Tsunade's pleasure, and pointed to a scroll attached to the under-armor I wore. "Storage scroll." Jiraiya lifted an eyebrow as I lowered my shirt. "You know Fūinjutsu?" I waved my hand at him. "Eh, little bit. Just for Storage and Gravity." Jiraiya, Tsunade and Kakashi face-faulted. "Nani? G-Gravity?! How?" I rubbed the back of my head and chucked before noticing Naruto and Sakura's confused expression. "Gravity seals are like portable training weights. Just a heck of a lot more useful and harder to manage. After releasing one, the user can gain advanced stats in each category. At the moment, mine are at 10x normal gravity and increase every two days. My time in Akatsuki really paid off." It was time for everyone to have their jaw drop to the ground. "10x!?" I chuckled rubbing the back of my head. "Yep. I didn't even release them for the Jonin Exams." Jaws continued to hit the ground as continued. "But anyway, we have a mission. Cmon guys." Everyone regained their composure before we made our way towards the forests; leaving the Hidden Leaf.

As we sped through the treetops I heard Sakura shout out. "Temari-san!" I turned to see a her walking along the forest floor who had just turned to see us. As we landed in front of her. "What's up guys, what do you need? And who is this?" She pointed at me as I raised an eyebrow. "Zesu. New teammate. Anyway, we are on a mission to rescue the Kazekage. He has been captured." Her eyes shot open wide. "No….Gaara." I cocked my head, confused. "Y'know him?" She nodded, a look of depression on her face. "He's my brother." I looked away, resting a hand on my side. "Gomen. I didn't know." She waved a hand before motioning to follow. "C'mon we have three days before we get to Suna. We need to hurry!" We jumped to the treetops to resume our speeding way to the Sand Village. As we jumped from branch to branch, Naruto began to speed up. He passed all of us and was a good twenty feet ahead of us. Finally Kakashi spoke up. "Naruto, just because we nee to hurry doesn't mean separate from the team. Don't get so heated, didn't Jiraiya say?" I could hear Naruto growl before a he spoke. "I can't stand it! Even I know why they are after Gaara and I… You still don't know Sakura, do you?" A long pause ensued. "The Fox, Kyuubi is sealed within me. That's why i can't stand it! They look at us like monsters and however else they like. Why can't we just be seen like normal people? He and I are the same, except he was fighting loneliness for longer than I was. He was always alone. I always asked, Why did he have to be alone? Why didn't someone help him, like they did me? But now, I won't ask why. I will definitely save him this time." I sped up to Naruto's pace and placed a hand to his shoulder, nodding to him. He smiled to me and nodded as we resumed the track.

A while after as we continued to jump across branches, Sakura spoke up. "Naruto? Zesu?" We both turned to her, continuing to move. "Uchiha Itachi…You are his target and he is Sasuke's target. And Zesu, he is one of your relatives…" We both tensed, but nodded to her. "At the moment, Sasuke is with Orochimaru, who was originally in Akatsuki. So what I am getting at is…" I growled at the mention of said Uchiha, unbeknownst to the group. "…the closer we get to Akatsuki, the closer we get to Sasuke." I shook my head, now the attention of the two. "Sasuke is gone. I'm waiting for you two to understand that." I heard Sakura gasp and Naruto growl at me. He spoke out to me. "Zesu. You don't understand what we went thro-" "Oh I think I do Naruto." I interrupted him, causing a silence to grow. "Sasuke is gone. I was told the reports on him. He almost killed you in that little battle you two had. He left on his choice. The only thing he wants at the moment is that stupid goal to kill his brother. But not dumb enough to go on par with your goal, you two."

Suddenly, I was pushed off course to crash into the nearest trunk of a tree; Naruto grabbing onto the collar of my sweatshirt. "What the hell, Zesu? You have no idea what we went through! Don't you dare try and say our goal of bringing a brother back is dumb! We have ev-" I sent a swift jab to his gut, forcing him away and skidding along the branch we were on. My Sharingan flared at him. "You are both still children! You have no idea of how to comprehend what Sasuke is doing. He always thought of revenge. Those little years he spent here. Probably just playing you all. The Uchiha's go by one thing. The Curse of Hatred. Once an Uchiha falls under it, he is lost. He'd even kill his brother or in your case, Naruto, a close friend."

Now it was Naruto's turn to glare at me; his eyes red and black slits for pupils as he sported a pair of fangs. "Don't you dare speak about Sasuke like that! You weren't there to see him when he was in the Leaf! How could you possibly know what he thought?!" I tsked at him, only pissing him off more. "Im an Uchiha like him. I was lucky enough to escape the Curse from the love of another. Otherwise I would be exactly like Sasuke and would have just went back to Akatsuki." That was what pushed him off the edge, as he rushed me.

I shook my head, before appearing behind him and swung my fist backwards to the back of his neck. This immediately knocked him out and his body fell limp to the branch. Kakashi appeared in front of me with a look of distaste, which I caught. "What, Hatake? You know it is true and Naruto needed to know that as well." I brought a half ram sign up; dismissing my Sharingan. "See you in Suna." With that, I disappeared.

~Outside of Suna, after Sakura heals Kankuro and Chiyo joins group~

I waited in the blistering heat, sand around my sandals, for the rest of them. I had been journeying across the landscape after I left Kakashi with Naruto. Now, an old crone had leapt off a building and proceeded to join our group. I shrugged, still getting glares from Naruto and Sakura as we went on pursuit to out new target. We had acquired a new objective and were able to narrow it down to an area in River Country. At the moment, we had now crossed into the forests again, escaping the sands.

Kakashi suddenly shouted to us. "Everyone! Halt!" I glanced at Kakashi, skidding on the ground till I stopped, before turning back to see an individual standing in front of us. He adorned the typical Akatsuki clock and had raven-black hair with bangs over the sides of his face. Long lines on his face, framed under his eyes. His eyes. I could see a pair of Sharingan, looking at us with a bored expression. My own Sharingan flared in aggrevation. "Uchiha Itachi." The venom in my voice spit towards him. He quirked an eyebrow at me. "So you are the one Leader-sama spoke of. You are on our top kill list you know." I spit at the ground. "Like I care! You people are dead for what you did. It is time for me to do what I should have done a long time ago. Kakashi, back me up if need be. The rest of you, stand on guard!" I heard Naruto yell in protest, but I ignored him and shot forward.

I engulfed my hand in fire chakra and made a solid right hook to the Sharingan-wielding missing-nin's head. He reached up to block but was forced backwards when the technique burned him. He landed a couple feet away only for hands to shoot from the ground and grab his ankles, freezing him in place. He looked to me where I was wielding a clone hand seal. "A clone..." I rushed him, wielding a snake hand sign. "Doton: Kengan no Jutsu!" I could see his surprise when a orb of rocks began to form around my hand and begin to create a shape in the form of a fist. I appeared in front of him and sent the technique crashing into his gut. He flew backwards, but surprisingly his body erupted in a flurry of crows. I narrowed my eyes and raised my fists in a defensive stance. Before I could move though, I felt a chill through the air. I slowly reached behind me to grab the hilt of my blade.

Suddenly the area around me turned a reverse of colors. The background a dark crimson while I was black with white outlines. Itachi appeared in front of me in the same coloring and sighed. "So Zesu-kun, you really have grown since you left Akatsuki. I've heard you even have a fiancé." My Sharingan blazed in anger as I growled at him but he only let out a small chuckle. "And those eyes of yours. I can see they have grown as well. But can they see this?" The scene changed to inside my old home before I left the village. My red eyes widened in horror as Itachi held a sword while both my parents were dead at my feet. "You shall see your parent die before you for 24 hours. Your sanity after it will be questionable." I growled at him before my Sharingan took on a new shape. "Your stupid Genjutsu is not gonna affect me. I'm done playing around." The normal black commas swirled to the shape of six black curved arrows pointed away from the pupil, with a black circle running around the pupil, giving it a spiral shape. Three of the arrows were empty with only a black outline.

I could see Itachi's black eyes go wide as he gazed into mine. "The Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan?!" I smirked, now in control of my movements. "Yep. I think I like them, well since I'm not going blind. Unlike someone." He narrowed his eyes at me before suddenly speeding forwards. I reacted with a standard high block from his right hook, though his arm hooked around mine enough for him to deliver a back fist over my head. I pushed backwards after I ducked his strike and performed a series of hand signs. I reached up to grab the hilt of my blade and in a swift movement, unsheathed it. The edge erupted in a flurry of fire as I swung the blade; a flaming arc of wind flew towards Itachi, "Katon: Honōgiri!", only for his body to explode in a flock of crows. I quickly made a half ram sign and the area around me turned a hazy color before dispersing. The scenery around me was now back to the clearing where we had found Itachi. Kakashi was currently in a taijutsu battle with the missing-nin.

I showed to the one-eyed nin, wielding my blade. "Kakashi, hold on!" I rushed forwards, slicing through the distance between us and swung my blade downwards in an attempt to cut into Itachi's shoulder. He saw this coming, easily maneuvering away to stand a good thirty feet away but not without delivering a kick to both Kakashi and I. As we flew backwards he made a tiger seal and took a deep breath. "Katon: Gōkakyū no Jutsu!" I tsked as I made a snake seal and brought my hand up. "Doton: Doryūheki!" As it rose, a chunk of rock erupted from the ground; acting as a shield. The sphere of fire collided with earth, causing it to cancel out but not without reducing the wall to chunks of blackened dirt. He stood, awaiting our next move which I gratefully took his pause. I made a half ram and expelled a large amount of lava from my mouth, which spread to form a massive tidal wave in towards him. "Yōton: Yōkai no Jutsu!" I could see his eyes widening in shock before narrowly dodging the magma stream. He stood up straight again, peering at me with the same bored expression. "Fire, Earth, and Lava. And also the Eternal Mangekyo. A dangerous individual you are."

I smirked before creating a clone beside me and hands shot up to grab Itachi's legs again. My clone appeared beside him, fist ready and covered in fire chakra, and delivered a solid slug into the missing-nin's gut. This resulted in him being knocked back and flying through the air. I appeared above him, fist now covered in molten rock and dripping magma. I could see his eyes widen in shock at the technique and speed before I sent it straight into his back. "Yōton: Kenyo no Jutsu!" The molten rock removed itself from my fist and gathered on him as he descended to the ground. He landed with a crash, earning a descent sized crater as I landed next to Kakashi, breathing slightly heavily. He gave me an eye-smile which I graciously accepted before giving his shoulder a good knock. I heard Chiyo behind me. "Well, I'll be damned. That's the power of the Sharingan for ya. Incredible."

I offered a smirk to Chiyo before Kakashi and I approached the steaming crater. I narrowed my eyes as I looked over the corpse. "No wonder it was so easy. This isn't Itachi." Kakashi, and the rest approached while Chiyo gasped. "That's one of our nin, from Suna." Naruto growled at the body. "Dammit." Kakashi sighed, sticking his hands in his pockets. "Well, we should continue with the mission. Lets go!" With that, we sped along the way that we were previously.

After jumping along a canyons, we finally came upon an opening that lead to a massive boulder with a thin arc around the boulder. It was obvious that the rock was a blockage for some sort of passage as it was abnormal from the surrounding earth that formed said canyon. As we appeared on the water's surface we were welcomed with a shouting Maito Gai. "Kakashi! Running late my youthful rival!?" I rolled my eyes with a smile, giving Lee a fist bump, while waving at Neji And TenTen. Naruto was his usual determined self and Sakura offered a wave. Kakashi rubbed the back of his head with an eye-smile. "Eh, we ran into some stuff along the way. Anyway, any ideas on how to open this Five-Seal Barrier?" Gai was the first to act, pulling out a few wireless communicators; handing them to his teammates. I raised an eyebrow at them which he caught. "My team will head to the other seal tags and remove them in sync. You handle this one." Kakashi nodded, holding up two fingers before swinging them down. "Scatter!" Team Gai dispersed to their respective locations and in a couple of seconds, Gai's booming voice practically broke Kakashi's eardrums. "We're all ready here!" He nodded and motioned to Sakura. She brought her arm back, then let gloved fist meet rock; reducing the boulder to pebbles. I smirked, winking at her before we sped into the chamber.

With the massive boulder of a barrier down, the five of us jumped inside the cavern, guards up and ready for a fight. Kakashi and Naruto on my left while Sakura and Chiyo were on my right. My eyes widened as I saw the two Akatsuki members, but then I turned a darker expression, growling at the two; my Sharingan flaring at them. "Deidara and Sasori. The two artists of the organization. Kuso." My voice dripped venom at them as Deidara sneered at me while Sasori only chuckled a low muffled tone. "Good to see you gaki. Make some friends, hm?" I growled at Deidara then my eyes set on the person he was sitting on; Gaara. Naruto's growling could be heard to my left. "You bastards! I'll beat you to a pulp!" Deidara only chuckled at him. "Well, there's the loudmouth Kyuubi …hm." I raised my hands in front of me in a combat stance, palms facing forward as they crossed in front of my face. The only thing the two could see were my Sharingan glaring at them. "I have this. All of you; when I get them, grab Gaara." This time it was Sasori who chuckled at me. "Like you could do a thing, gaki." Before anyone could blink, I was behind them; hands ablaze and cocked back. They slowly turned back and narrowly dodged a solid slug from my fists; darting away from me. Deidara's clay bird held Gaara securely in its mouth as I sneered up at it. I faced Deidara with my back to Sasori, but was interrupted when Kakashi appeared next to me, back to back. His kunai in hand and Sharingan active as he smirked under his mask. "Don't rush in Zesu. I understand the haste, but let's do this together." I smiled over at him, and nodded; pumping my hands with chakra again. Thus causing the flames to grow brighter.

Chiyo was the next to speak up. "Kakashi, gather the two boys and take care of the other one. Sakura and I will handle my boy here." Naruto perked up, his voice slightly gruff from the Kyuubi's influence. From what I could sense, Kyuubi wasn't to thrilled about Shukaku being sealed and neither was Naruto. "Cmon! Wake up, Gaara! Nows not the time to be sleeping!" Kakshi sighed next to me, turning his head to Naruto. "You must understand by now…" I growled at the two, before Deidara 'hmpfed'. "Yup, you got it don't ya! He's real dead this one…hm!" He held up a finger as if remembering something and turned to Sasori. "Oh, you're probably gonna hate me for this, but I will handle the jinchuriki …hm." I could feel the ill-intent oozing off of Sasori as he slowly cocked his head to Deidara. "One jinchuriki to a member. Don't mess with mine!" Deidara snickered at him, shrugging causally. "My art hasn't really been fully expressed. With this one, my art can truly be shown with a bang! …hm!" Sasori sighed, shaking his masked head back and forth. "Your art always has been questionable Deidara. Too bad…" The long metal tail of his began to groan from the sudden movement and made a lunge at Deidara, whom swiftly jumped from his position onto his clay bird; escaping the possibly fatal wound. Sasori grunted in annoyance but relented and let the clay user carry Gaara in his bird's mouth as he flew out of the cave to hover in the air outside.

Naruto and I were the first to follow, growling at the clay-using Akatuski member with KI rolling off of us. Kakashi appeared behind us and placed a calm hand on our shoulders. "We will get Gaara back. Just don't do anything stupid, ne?" I smirked and nodded at him while Naruto only bolted off to follow the now escaping missing-nin. Kakashi called out to Sakura and Chiyo. "We will deal with the one outside. Sakura, you and Chiyo take this one…but be careful." With that, we jumped after Naruto; who was already far ahead of us. I shook off the fire from my hands and looked to Naruto with concern. I could see the Kyuubi's chakra rolling off of him with these eyes and I was sure Kakashi could too, so I added chakra to my feet and boosted myself a few hundred feet ahead to him. Before I got close enough, I made a bunshin hand sign and a clone appeared at my side. He nodded to me before returning to where Sasori was combatting Sakura and Chiyo.

K51: Yeah! We are back in business baby!

Naruto: Man Zesu, you're a jerk.

Zesu: Eh, you'll get over it in the next chapter.

Kyuubi: Probably will.

Naruto: ~grumbles~
