I Do Not Own Shugo Chara!
The next day, Akiko wakes gleefully, smiling as soon as she enters consciousness. She quickly dresses in a pale yellow sundress, pulling her hair up into a ponytail. She skips down the stairs, humming.
"Well, Akiko-chan, you seem very happy today!" her mother comments, smiling over her shoulder while making breakfast.
"I am! I'm so glad the school is giving us this last week a free week. No uniforms!" Akiko grins, twirling in the dress she chose to wear to school.
"Well, that's nice."
Akiko rolls her eyes and grabs an apple, swinging her bag over her shoulder.
"Bye mom, love you!" she calls, ducking out the door. She takes a bite out, savoring the sweet flavor. Eito falls into step next to her, grinning.
"Well, don't you look fabulous today?" he laughs, his hazel eyes shining.
"I do, don't I?" Akiko smirks, taking another bite of her apple.
They continue walking to school, arriving and doing the usual. During lunch, though, Kokoro suddenly gasps.
"What is it, Ko-chan?" Akiko ponders softly.
"X charas… and eggs being stolen!" Shiori gasps.
Eito shares a look with Akiko, and after doing so, his heart eggs floats out of his bag.
"Wait! No! Crap!" Eito lunges for his egg, sighing.
"After those eggs!" he calls.
They end up at a clearing, with the other Guardians already fighting.
"What took you guys so long?" Amu calls, glaring.
"My Heart: Unlock!" Akiko calls, rising into the air.
"My Heart: Unlock!" Eito yells.
"Chara Nari: Word Genius!"
"Chara Nari: Picture Wise!"
"Word Witch!" Akiko shouts, a staff forming in her hands. It's long and brown, and has an orb on the end. Letters float around inside it, and it emits a white light.
"Picture Perfect!" Eito yells, a large paintbrush forming in his hands.
Akiko takes the staff in two hands, aiming it at an X chara. A white beam of light with letters floating inside shoots at it, making it turn back to an X egg. Eito throws the paintbrush at an X chara, knocking it down.
The two of them, without realizing, go back-to-back, holding their large weapon. They both spin around, spotting each other. They give a slight laugh before aiming their hands at a large X egg.
"Picture Genius!" they call, a beam of light shooting at the egg, with bright colors and letters entwined.
Quickly everything has ended, and the heart egg floats back to Eito. Everyone un-transforms, sighing.
Eito glances at his phone, seeing school has ended.
"Akiko-chan, let's go," he mumbles, gazing at the brunette.
"Alright!" Akiko replies, walking over and falling into step beside him.
It starts to sprinkle, then drizzle, then full on rain. Akiko laughs out loud, twirling in the falling water.
Quickly enough they're both soaked, laughing and dancing in the rain.
They stop for a moment, gazing at each other.
"Akiko-chan, there's something I need to tell you…"
"Okay?"
Eito can't seem to get the words out of his mouth, and his heart egg flies out and cracks open.
The chara inside has blue hair, short and messy like Efude's. He's wearing jeans, a little blue shirt, and black converse. Not much different than Efude.
"I'm Haruki, your wish to express your emotions!" he calls.
Kokoro gasps, flying out from behind Akiko's shoulder.
"I'm Kokoro, Akiko-chan's same wish!" she giggles.
Eito rolls his eyes, ignoring the charas.
"Akiko-chan… what I want to say is…"
He sighs, gazing into her eyes.
"I love you!"
