Chapter: 20 Epilogue
All of Arendelle's servants and volunteers were hard at work repairing the castle. Elsa oversaw up the repairs and thought, "Hmmm yes! Brilliant work, men. Let's make this castle twice as big as the first!"
Anna couldn't stop hugging her son. "Oh...my little Nikolas. I was so worried about you." She kissed his forehead.
"Awww Momma! I'm okay. I'm okay. Mr. Marco saved me!"
Anna stood up in front of the Valencian, who took his hat off respectfully. "Thank you, Marco," said Anna. She leaned in and placed a sweet kiss on his cheek. "It's great to have you back. We missed you." Anna winked and motioned towards her sister, "Some of us, more than others."
Far off in Weselton, Sven and Bianca were still held in the stables. Sven groaned.
Bianca gave a light neigh.
Sven groaned with intrigue.
Bianca neighed curiously. She peered down at the ground before the reindeer stepped forward.
Sven sniffled.
Bianca sniffled.
They looked into each other's eyes, smiled, and rested their heads on one another.
"Come on..." urged Olaf with that silly grin of his.
Kai grumbled, "Meh."
"Come on...who saved the hostages?"
"Yurded."
"Sorry? What was that?
"Alright!" groaned Kai. "You did."
"Yay! Teeehehehehe," giggled Olaf.
"So will you stay here?" asked Marco.
Quinn rested on his shoulder, "Eh, castle life isn't really my style."
"But little Nikolas does need a playmate."
"Good point, someone has to look after the little tike." The fairy raised a brow, "But what about you, Romeo?"
"Hmm?"
"You staying this time?"
Marco sighed, "It all depends on the queen herself. I've made my choice...it's time for Elsa to make hers."
"Well, it's been fun, your highness," sighed Jack Frost as he walked alongside the queen.
"Indeed it has," huffed Elsa. "Thank you...for everything."
"I'm a guardian, it's what we do." chuckled Jack.
"You know..." began Elsa. "We're going to have plenty of room in our new castle if you'd like to stick around."
Jack hummed, "Naaaah. There are others who need my help out there. Besides, you've found your happily ever after...Mine lies elsewhere."
Elsa bit her lip, "Jack-"
"Hey," he interrupted with a smile. "It's alright. Listen to your heart, Elsa." He hugged her tight.
"I will miss you, Jack."
"I'll miss you too," said Jack before taking off into the sky. "Long live Queen Elsa!" he cheered.
Elsa shook her head and looked across the construction. "Excuse me," she heard a voice. She could see Marco asking around. "Have you seen Elsa?" Kai have you seen...Anna have you seen...Has anyone seen Elsa?"
"I think she's over here!" hollered the queen herself.
Marco turned to see her leaning on the wall. "Hey!"
"Hey," she smirked. "I believe you owe me something."
"I believe you owe ME something." winked Marco.
My Love is True
Elsa
Ever since you left me,
I couldn't get my mind straight.
The thoughts and dreams I had of you,
Simply would not go away.
Marco
Day and night I thought of you,
Nothing else entered my mind.
Other than the fact I was a fool,
To not stay here by your side!.
Both
But now that you're here,
Within my arms.
I really just don't care,
That we were ever apart.
Elsa
You and me.
Marco
Can it be?
Elsa
Me and you.
Marco
Must be true!
Both
Is this true love?
**the two start waltzing**
Marco
My lovely queen of ice,
My beautiful Juliet.
Elsa
My hero, still scared of mice,
Marco:Hate those things!
Elsa
My handsome Romeo.
Both Because now you are with me,
This tale won't be,
A tragedy.
Now that you're here ,
Together you and me!
We are heart to heart.
It's hard to imagine,
That we were ever apart.
Marco
And now I see...
Elsa
Now I know...
Marco
That having you with me,
Elsa
Is far better than being alone!
Both
This may be true love.
Marco It's you and me,
The memories stuck with me,
Of when we danced that night.
Elsa
Out there on a frozen lake,
My ice reflecting the moonlight.
Both
Though neither of us,
Were truly searching for love.
It found a way to get us both,
A match blessed from above!
With a second start.
We have another chance,
Now we'll never be… **music slows and softens** apart! **held note together**
**music picks up in pace and volume slightly**
**Marco "dips" Elsa**
Marco
Now I'm sure...
Elsa
No doubt it my mind.
Marco
That we are a pair,
Elsa
Both you and I.
Both
This is true love.
**music slows, nearly completely ending**
Marco: **starts to sing** You are-
Elsa: **interrupts** Oh, just kiss me already!
**Elsa eagerly wraps her arms around Marco and pulls him down, as the two finally share a kiss.**
Their lips parted and they stared into each other's eyes. Marco sighed amorously, "That...was-"
"Perfect," replied Elsa before they kissed again.
Months later...
Dominik and Fritz, now the co-rulers of Weselton, returned Sven and Bianca to Arendelle. They opened up new trade policies with Arendelle, and both kingdoms are flourishing. Dominik always makes time to visit and play with his favorite prince...Nikolas.
The duke was never seen again. Rumor has it he was found tied to the tree Quinn left him on...by the beaten and bruised Stabbingtons. The men took the duke back to their country of Corona, where he is currently being used as jester at the Snuggly Duckling. It's a hard crowd to please for a scrawny old villain. It wasn't long before the authorities stepped in and arrested the Stabbingtons. Rapunzel and Eugene had them thrown in the deepest, darkest dungeon for their crimes.
Hans was punished by his mother, and after receiving the spanking of his life...was sentenced to clean the entire castle himself, THRICE. Once that was over, he was put to work to reconstruct the entire fleet himself. So far, he has finished the mast of the first ship. He only needs to complete this galleon, and he'll have a little over a hundred to go.
Miguel and Tulio ran into trouble back in Valencia, eventually getting lost at sea and discovering a city of gold. Captain Jack Sparrow followed their route but made a wrong turn in the jungles. Last anyone heard, he had gotten his hands on some cursed treasure. Jack Frost continued his work alongside his fellow guardians. They keep the children of the world safer than ever now.
Princess Aurora never got her chocolate delivery. She went on a mad rampage that lasted weeks.
Kai and Gerda took a much needed vacation to the islands. After several days in paradise, the butler finally popped the question...and Gerda...said yes. The two were wedded on the island, but their servant natures kicked in. They served a princess named Moana for several months before returning to Arendelle.
Olaf received a hero's medal for his castle defenses. He was renowned by many as Arendelle's "Little Soldier". Kristoff still did not forgive him for using all of his dirty laundry against the invaders. He holds the grudge to this very day.
Marshmallow was also credited for saving the kingdom. The monster snowman gave up his crushing ways and became a motivational speaker. He know travels through nearby kingdoms. Here is a glorious excerpt of his speech to the people of Ariel and Eric's kingdom...
"IF ME DO IT. YOU DO IT. WHY YOU NOT DO IT? YOU HAVE TO. WHEN YOU DO IT, YOU DO IT LIKE ME...AND YOU DO GOOD."
-Mr. Marsh M. Mallow
Prince Eric clapped awkwardly and glanced down at his wife. Ariel was in tears of joy while applauding, "He has such a way with words," she sniffled. "He should run for a government position."
Sven and Bianca are quite the partners. The reindeer not only shares his carrots with her, but gives her his half too!
Anna and Kristoff carried out their lives in their kingdom. They treasured every moment after with their son, Nikolas. Anna now runs her own little business for the wives of ice harvesters. It supports all their husbands do for them, and provides gifts and amenities to them.
Nikolas is still the adventurous little prince. He's grown braver since the battle for Arendelle, thanks to his Auntie Elsa...and Uncle Marco. That's right...UNCLE Marco.
Marco and Elsa were married in the months to come, but an even greater cause for celebration was at hand...
In the queen's chambers, she rested in her bed, weary and sweaty. "Elsa...look," whispered Marco next to her.
Gerda came to her bedside, cradling an infant in her arms. "It's a baby girl," she smiled.
Elsa held her blonde child close and kissed her, "My little...Evelyn." she whispered.
"She's beautiful, my dear." sighed Marco before kissing his wife. "Here's to the next adventure."
Anna leaned in to tickle little Evelyn. She gasped when the child's hands sparked up a tiny ice flurry. "Woah!" she exclaimed.
"Yeah...woah," chuckled Marco as he looked into his wife's eyes. The two of them were going to raise a beautiful daughter, born with the powers of ice and snow, and loved by the masses. This, was going to be fun!
