Chapter 21
Counterattack
Sunset Shimmer completely passed through the mirror portal, enjoying her lemonade. She walked towards the entrance of the school, and she noticed that the sky was full of strange clouds and some lighting fell and thunder could be heard.
Sunset was confused, there was no student or teacher in view, the place was silent and desolate.
-Hey?!- Yelled Sunset Shimmer as she walked towards the entrance. -Is there anyone here?-
-Twilight?...Girls?- Sunset Shimmer kept on yelling but she got no response. -Snails? Can anyone hear me?-
As she walked up the steps, she felt a bad premonition creep up her spine, she heard laughter from the other side of the entrance.
Suspecting the worst, she decided to hide behind some nearby bushes.
A few seconds passed by, the main door opened and Sunset stayed silent and hidden.
Sunset could not believe what she was seeing, it was the Dazzlings along with other people that exited the institution of Canterlot, the group laughed victoriously, laughing at the Rainbooms. Sunset's eyes widened like saucers, perhaps they had defeated the elements of harmony.
-I would have liked to break their necks.- Said Ahuizotl as he walked down the stairs of the entrance. -But I am satisfied with having humiliated them!-
-And will out powers be permanent?- Said Mane-iac, as she carried her machine.
-They will be very soon.- Said Adagio, smiling evilly.
The group walked towards the bus, Sunset was very scared, she only waited for them to board the bus and leave so that she could go to see if her friends were alright.
As they walked towards the bus, Adagio stopped, she suspiciously looked at the statue in front of the Canterlot school, then she walked towards the statue, Sunset began to get even more worried.
-What are you waiting for Adagio?- Yelled Aria as she got onto the bus, causing Adagio to not touch the portal. -Let's leave this filthy place!-
Immediately, Adagio walked away from the statue and got onto the bus.
Then the bus left the place and Sunset immediately entered the school in search of her friends.
After entering and walking down a few hallways, she finally saw that in the main hallway, that five of her friends were unconscious and they were being carried in the arms of several students to the nurse's office. Outside of the hallway, large groups of students were talking amongst each other and they were worried.
-Hey.- Said Sunset watching as they carefully carried the mane 5 into the nurse's office. -Can someone tell me what's going on?-
-Sunset!- Said Fluttershy quickly walking over to Sunset with tears in her eyes.
-Fluttershy!- Said Sunset, worried. -What happened?-
Fluttershy hugged Sunset Shimmer and kept on crying. Sunset noticed that standing a few meters away, Discord was looking at the ground, with a worried look in his eyes. Sunset suspected that he might be at fault.
Due to the situation, classes were suspended, all of the students and the teachers continued waiting outside of the infirmary, waiting to find out of the rainbooms were alright.
Minutes passed by, next to the infirmary, Fluttershy explained to Sunset what had hapened. Discord was by her side, with his hands he caressed Fluttershy's right hand as a sign of comfort but what it was really doing was heating up his hands seeing as he barely had any energy.
-I don't understand!- Said Sunset. -How could they obtain so much power and transform?-
They both looked at Discord who stayed silent.
-Discord!- Said Sunset, a bit irritated. -What happened?-
-Eh?- Said Discord, looking at Fluttershy. -Before the battle of the bands, Sonata absorbed all my strength, I stayed motionless and they shoved me into a locker."
Fluttershy looked at Discord seriously as she raised an eyebrow.
-Ummm.- Said Sunset as she scratched her chin in thought. -How did she manage to drain your energy so quickly? And...why haven't they done it before? And... why Sonata?-
Both girls looked at Discord as Discord looked away and he began to sweat and he blushed a bit, remembering the union of his lips with the sweet lips of Sonata.

Celestia, Sunset, Fluttershy and Discord entered the infirmary, meanwhile, Cadence, Shining Armor and the rest of the students were limited to stay outside.
The mane 5 were each on a bed, they were now awake and complaining about their injuries, Twilight Sparkle had fractured her right arm, Rainbow Dash had fractured her right leg, Applejack was in a neckbrace and Pinkie Pie had fractured a rib, the only one that hadn't fractured anything was Rarity.
-What happened to me was the, worst, possible thing! Said Rarity being a classic 'drama queen'. -There is a lot of debris in my beautiful just washed hair!-
From their beds the rest looked at Rarity, annoyed.
-What?!- Said Rarity
-Hello girls.- Said Fluttershy entering the room.
-Fluttershy!- They said at the same time, with a bit of pain from their injuries.
-Hello girls.- Said Discord.
-Hello Discord!- They said without much enthusiasm.
-Are you alright?- Asked Sunset Shimmer.
-Sunset Shimmer!- They yelled at the same time, happy to see their friend and they regained their happiness.
-My friend.- Said Twilight. -When did you get back?-
-That's not what's important right now.- Said Sunset, worried. -Fluttershy and Discord told me what had happened...we're in serious problems!-
-They got really powerful.- Said Twilight, with much seriousness in her tone. -Because of their actions, I suspect that Discord had something to do with it.-
They all looked at Discord in disbelief.
-They absorbed my powers.- Said Discord looking at the ground very embarassed. -And my strength.-
-Seriously?- Asked Rainbow Dash.
To prove it, Sunset Shimmer grabbed Discord's hand and she squeezed it tightly; Discord could not stand the pain, he tried to break free but it was futile, Sunset wasn't even using a lot of force. Discord fell to his knees from the pain, the mane 6 and Celestia, saw the scene with surprise.
-Let me go already- Pleaded Discord, not being able to stand the pain. -Ok...they get it!-
-He has the strength of a 5 year old child.- Said Sunset, letting go of Discord's hand.
-Is this a joke?- Asked Rainbow Dash.
-No.- Said Sunset seriously.
Quickly, Rainbow Dash began to shriek with laughter, completely forgetting the pain of her injuries.
-I can't believe it!- Said Rainbow Dash, drying a tear of laughter. -The unstoppable and strong Discord had the strength of a 5 year old child!-
-Hey!- Said Discord, mad and rubbing his hand. -It's not funny!-
-Yes it is!- Said Rainbow Dash. -And a lot.-
-Rainbow Dash!- Said Fluttershy a bit bothered by Rainbow's laughter. -This is serious!-
-Girls!- Said Sunset. -Any idea how to defeat them?-
-I don't know.- Said Twilight. -They are very powerful and we're injuted...I don't have any ideas.-
-Ok...- Said Sunset. -Discord...you know them better than we do...any ideas?-
-No!- Said Discord, scratching his head in desperation. -To be honest, I have no idea...I think that they also absorbed my intelligence...it's taking me a lot just to think.-
Fluttershy looked at Discord compassionately meanwhile the rest only looked at him with uncertainty.
-I have an idea!- Said one girl, who had a hood covering her face as she entered through the window. -You should attack them with all the power you have!-
As soon as everyone saw the girl enter through the window they were petrified by her sudden apparation.
The girl removed her cloak, showing her face and her hair with grey scales.
-Daring Do!- Yelled the mane 6.
Rainbow Dash had difficulty walking due to her injury but she walked up to Daring Do and she hugged her.
-Oh Daring Do!- Said Rainbow Dash hugging her with force. -What brings you here?-
-The problem is what ails you.- Said Daring Do, pushing Rainbow Dash aside.
-I don't understand.- Said Sunset Shimmer. -How do you know about all of this?-
-I know enough.- Said Daring Do. -There's no time to lose, we have to stop them before they absorb enough power.-
-But...Ms. Do...- Said Rarity. -In case you haven't noticed they have given us a horrible beating.-
-Not if you count on this.- Said Daring Do, showing them an enormous golden ring.
The mane 6 looked at the ring with nostalgia.
-That will help us?- Asked Twilight.
-It's not just any amulet or priceless treasure.- Said Daring Do. -This artifact has a type of power.-
Everyone in the room payed attention to Daring Do.
-Aztec legend says that this relic was one of the many gifts that their god Quetzacoatl gave to their pueblo as a gift in order to face the gods of hell in order to save the world from destruction and from an unbreakable darkness.-
-And what does it do?- Asked Rainbow Dash.
-In my fifteen years of investigation, the only thing that I could recover.- Said Daring Do staring at the golden ring. -It's an amulet that can absorb negative energy...as if it were a water well with no end.-
-Woooow!- They all said with excitement.
-One second!- Said Rainbow Dash. -Fifteen years of investiagtion...well...how old are you?-
-I'm 30 years old.- Responded Daring Do with no problem.
-Well...I thought you were around my age.- Said Rainbow Dash.
-You thought that this was my natural hair color?- Daring Do motioned to her gray colored hair. -If you ask me...they're gray hairs!-
-But..- Said Rarity. -How do you manage to look so young?-
-I sleep well, I eat my vegetables, I don't smoke or drink alchohol and I go to the gym!- Said Daring Do, annoyed. -Now...if it's not too much trouble...we shouldn't waste any more time and we need to confront these threats.-
-One moment, archeologist.- Said Applejack seriously. -Why haven't you helped us before?-
-Because I didn't know what was going to happen.- Said Daring Do. -Look...I passed by your school and I noticed that Ahuizotl was here...I suspected that there would be problems and for that I disguised myself to watch over him, but in the battle of the bands, upon seeing their transformations I didn't know what to do...up until now I remembered the gold ring...and to be honest I'm sorry for not helping you girls our sooner.-
-Disreguarding that Daring Do.- Said Rainbow Dash, hugging Daring Do again. -Nobody's perfect.-
-Remember?- Said Daring Do showing Rainbow Dash a restraining order.
Rainbow Dash sadly let go of Daring Do and took a few steps back.
-We have to do a counterattack.- Said Twilight getting up from her bed. -But we're not in good conditions...and we can't do this alone.-
-Perhaps we can be of some help.- Said Flash Sentry who along with his friends entered the infirmary.
-Flash!- Said Twilight, very impressed.
In that moment, Trixie appeared.
-The great and powerful Trixie shall also help!- Said Trixie with her magician outfit on.

-And me!- Said Derpy.

-Twilight!- Said Flash Sentry. -We all know of the situation you are going through and we are available to help!-
-Flash! Guys!- Said Twilight. -It's very nice of you, but this is very dangerous, besides...-
-Perhaps, like your vice principal said a year ago.- Said Sour Sweet interrupting, the shadowbolts were at her side. -Saving the world would benefit all of us! And that is what we want to do.-
-But...- Said Celestia a bit worried. -Guys...-
-It concerns all of us.- Said Neon Light. -The shadowbolts will help!-
-Thanks guys!- Said Twilight. -What is your plan?-
-I have an idea!- Said Discord squinting his eyes. -At least I think I do...-

In the meantime in the stadium in Canterlot, in the dressing room where the elements of caos were.
-This is fabulous.- Said Ahuizotl opening a can of soda. -The good life.-

Meanwhile, Sonata was sitting in a corner, meditating over what had just happened. Discord had broken her heart, but she and her friends had hurt him back and they also hurt the mane 6. Despite all of circumstances, the siren admitted that she was deeply in love with Discord. She enjoyed having kissed him, but there was no going back, she also wanted his powers and to return to the land with equestrian ponies, she yearned to go back to that world, so she would support her sisters.
-Guys.- Said Adagio to the group. -Despite the circumstances and how successfully our plan is going...please...whatever happens...no treachery!-
The group was a bit confused, but they were also surprised.
-Adagio...you surprise me.- Said Luna. -I gave up my sister for you guys.-

The rest of the group understood the signal, they walked up to Aria and made a circle and united their hands in a circle.
-What are we?!- Yelled Adagio.
-Villains!- Yelled the group at the same time. -And we'er proud of it!-
In that moment, the door opened and businessman entered.
-Guys!- Said Businessman. -Are you ready?- You have one minute to get to the stage.-
-Ok!- Said the elements of caos.
-By the way.- Said businessman. -Where is Discord?-
-Him?- Asked Adagio a bit nervously, having forgotten that Discord was the leader of the band and he had signed the contract. -He couldn't be here...seeing as how...he had a small matter to attend to.-
Businessman raised an eyebrow.
-But please respect his neglect.- Said Adagio. -We will sing like we never have before!-
-Ok.- Said businessman. -There's no more time to waste, get to the stage, now.-
-Good!- Said the group.
...
Immediately, the elements of caos got onto the stage, they could not believe it, the stadium was more full than they had expected, the crowd yelled with euphoria. The elements of caos climbed up on stage with confidence, Adagio adjusted the jewel around her neck and with no problem they began to sing.
30 minutes later, outside of the stadium.
Discord, the mane 7 and the rest of the stuents were waiting by the entrance, Discord walked up to the security guards and he asked them to get businessman.
Immediately, businessman was at the entrance.
-Businessman.- Said Discord. -I'm finally here!-
-Discord?- Said Businessman. -They told me that you were inconveniant and Adagio took leadership of the group.-
-Yes, I know.- Said Discord, improvising and trying not to show how nervous he was. -It's just that in reality I was preparing a surprise for the concert.-
-Surprise?- Asked businessman.
The large group of students were wondercolts and shadowbolts appeared, they were all wearing clothing in the style of a tropical carnival.
Upon seeing the large group of young people showing off a lot skin and with their sensual attire, businessman began to sweat.
-Ok.- Said businessman without a doubt and he began to dry his sweat with a napkin that he had. -You can pass...and give an incredible show; but it's obvious that your band mates will be giving an incredible concert already.-

As they walked towards the stage, some of the students began to put on their clothes, in some cases they were uniforms.
-I don't know if we're fortunate or unfortunate.- Said Celestia a bit seriously. -The body of a woman can make any man bow down...-
-Blessed sexism and blessed perversion!- Said Discord laughing like an idiot.
Fluttershy looked at Discord annoyed, but she understood that Discord no longer posessed his usual intelligence and cohersion.
Backstage, Twilight peeked out to see her opponents, she could not believe it, their songs were amazing and the crowd was going wild.
She knew that Adagio's power was increased by the second and she could not waste any more time.
Twilight and her friends could not play their instruments with the exception of Rarity and Fluttershy, and in that moment all of the students were preparing their instruments, meanwhile the shadowbolts were preparing their bows and arrows, just in case.
Before they began the counterattack, Fluttershy walked over to Discord.
-Discord?- Said Fluttershy. -You still don't have your strength right?-
Discord was trying to beat Scootaloo at arm wrestling but Scootaloo beat him easily.
-I guess not.- Said Discord, rubbing his arm. -Not my strength, or my intelligence or my magic.-
-Oh Discord, I'm really sorry.- Said Fluttershy sadly.
In that moment, Sunset, Daring Do and Spitfire subjected, tied up and gagged Discord.
-I'm really sorry Discord.- Said Fluttershy. -But it's very dangerous and I don't want them to keep on hurting you.-
Discord could not say anything and he looked at Fluttershy in confusion.
-Please forgive me!- Said Fluttershy.
Daring Do quickly found a nearby room and stashed Discord in it.
-Ready guys!- Said Sunset Shimmer.
-Ready!- Yelled the group with force, they covered their ears, and were ready for battle.

You'd think that he'd be exaggerating when he said that a group of villains would get a lot more powerful with the magic of a draconequus, like the elements of caos, they are almost unbeatable, but it's more than obvious that it would take an army to go against them and even more so if most of the mane 6 weren't in the condition for battle.
