Oh my gosh I am so so sorry! This seems so late! I've been busy with everything at school; coursework, my mocks and them marking, my actual exams are this week, more French speaking/ writing exams, I've just come off my holiday and even a guy problem and that's rare.

There's not a lot of chapters left of this now and I was going to add more to this but I thought you had waited long enough for now.

Anyway, thanks to all the people who had followed, liked this and also reviewed; thanks for sticking with me, it means so much! Grazie!

Feel free to correct me! R+R!

Chapter 21

Sunday came around quicker than Lovina thought it would. It started off with her curtains closed as the sun tried to get through them. Lovina was in a lump in the middle of the bed as she slept quietly, not hearing the running footsteps coming down the hall. It was only when her bedroom door was slammed open loudly did she jump and open her eyes.

"What th-" Lovina didn't get the rest of her words because a large and excited 'VE!~!' came her way and she was suddenly jumped on.

"Oof!" Lovina cried as her sorella jumped onto her and her bed.

"Ve~ good morning sorella!" Feliciana cried as she then snuggled her sorella from under the bed covers. Lovina then turned onto her back, huffing as she then shuffled her way up in the bed. She grabbed the pillow from behind her head, whacking the younger Italian over the head with it.

"What the hell do you think you're doing?" with every word Lovina spoke, she smacked Feli over the head gently with the pillow. Eventually, her hits were enough to knock the younger one off the bed and she rolled off the bed and onto the floor with a high pitched 've' after her. The noise of whining and Lovina smirked to herself.

"Sorella…" Feli wined as she then sat back up so that her honey brown eyes could just be seen peeking over the bed.

"What?" Lovina snapped at her sister, still slightly annoyed for being jumped on so early on a weekend.

"It's time!" Feli said happily and got to her feet and this made Lovina raise an eyebrow at her sorella. It took Feli a moment to realise her sister wasn't catching on so she continued.

"Dress shopping!" Lovina then groaned and flopped backwards onto her bed and she then put her pillow onto her face, a clear sign that she didn't want to rise from her bed yet.

"Silly sorella!" Feli bounced over to her sister and pulled the pillow from Lovina and she then put the pillow out of Lovina's reach, "we need to get ready!" Lovina then turned her head to look over at what her sister was wearing.

"And it looks like you haven't got very far with the idea of getting dressed, have you?" Lovina questioned as she then saw her sister was still in her pasta pj's which had been a gift from her when it was Feliciana's birthday.

"Ve~ that's where I'm going now!" Feli said as she then went to walk out of the room but stopped to look to her older sister, "I'll be waiting for you downstairs!" she sang as she then left the room to go to her own. Lovina sighed to herself.

More like I'll beat you there

Lovina thought to herself, she was always dressed before the rest of her family. Honestly, she didn't the problem with just throwing random clothes on and hoping for the best; it usually worked. She checked what she wore sometimes but didn't when it wasn't necessary. Her sister and grandfather could be so much work. Lovina sat up in her bed, the covers pooled in her lap as she ran a hand through her bed hair and she looked towards her window. The sun was trying to work its way into the room and Lovina growled to herself.

"Why can't you wait?" Lovina muttered to herself before she then decided to drag herself out of her bed so she could get dressed.

Maddie was humming to herself as she was just putting the finishing touches to Alfred's breakfast. He still wasn't up yet so Maddie decided to give him a breakfast in bed with a reminder that they were going out to buy a suit for him and a dress for her. Maddie laid everything down onto the large wooden tray, the plate that had pancakes cut into a star (it was a thing Alfred had) with a glass of orange juice next to it. All the utensils were set neatly on the tray and Maddie then folded the daily newspaper (which she had already gone through) over her arm. She was then careful as she picked it up and started to head to her brother's room. Maddie was slightly anxious about dress shopping because of the last time they'd gone shopping. The last time they had gone was for a lost family member; Alfred's suit was all dusty and was too small for him and Maddie had sold her dress because it had brought back too many memoires she didn't wasn't to remember. She shook her head and she went up the stairs carefully. Maddie wasn't one for shopping and she already knew Lovina detested shopping full stop while Alice would go but was more reluctant to try anything on. Apparently, Francis had invited his girlfriend; a French girl called Joan would be with them today. She would be shopping with them but Maddie was sure it was just to make sure that the trio of girls would actually buy something. Maddie then realised she was in front of her Alfred's door so she tapped it with her foot.

"Alfred?" she whispered but of course, there was no response. Waking Alfred was sometimes like waking the dead. Maddie then leaned against the door with her back and pushed the door open so she wouldn't knock the tray in her hands. Alfred's room was pitch black but Maddie knew her way around his room, even though his clothes were thrown everywhere. She then found the bed side table and put the tray down along with the newspaper and then she started to poke at her brother.

"Alfred," she said as she poked the top of his head. He was currently with his face in the pillow and was flat out like a starfish so Maddie had no idea how he was breathing.

"Alfred," she said louder this time but Alfred snored loudly. Maddie then walked over to the window where he curtains were shut before she pulled them open. A screech came from the bed along with a loud thud against the floor.

"Now, that's much better," Maddie said and turned back to see the covers from the bed and the lump in the bed were gone.

"What the hell Mad," Alfred said as he then got to a sitting position; he wasn't wearing a shirt and was rubbing his eyes.

"Please tell me you slept in some form of clothes," Maddie said and closed her eyes, sometimes Alfred got so tired he would strip completely and fall into bed.

"Uhh…" the sound wasn't reassuring, "yep! The hero is wearing underwear."

"Good because I brought you-"

"BREAKFAST!" Alfred shouted and it made Madeline jump so much she put a hand out behind her so she wouldn't fall through the window.

"Alfred, you do scare me sometimes," Maddie said as she saw Alfred then get back and sit on the bed and cross his legs, placing the tray on his lap. Maddie walked over to him and then grabbed the glasses that were on the bed side table as well before she then placed them on her brother's face.

"Maybe this will help," she said

"I'm not totally blind Mad," Alfred huffed but it didn't stop him eating
"I have better eyesight then you do and I don't want you cutting yourself with a knife again because you couldn't be bothered to put your glasses on."
"You make me sound lazy," Alfred said

"That's because you are when you want to be," Maddie said, "remember to get dressed after breakfast because we are going out." Alfred just stopped eating and looked at her, confused.

"We're going shopping for the masquerade," Maddie added on

"Oh…" Alfred said, "the whole dress up thingy."

"A beautiful explanation Alfred," Maddie said as she then propped her glasses up onto her face, "be ready by 10 or else I'm taking your wallet off of you."

"That's not fair!" Alfred wined, "it's my wallet!"

"And you should be spending it on useful things, not highly expensive things," Maddie said

"But games are expensive!" Alfred said

"Just make sure you're ready." Was all Madeline said before she then walked out on her brother, leaving him to eat the rest of his breakfast and so he could get dressed.

The shopping centre was already open when some of the friends had started to arrive there. They had all agreed where to meet as well, near the small fountain that was in the centre. This is because it was right at the entrance and the only way you could miss it was if you were blind. Already standing there was Alice and her older brother, Alistair. Alice was in nice clothes while her brother was just wearing a grey shirt with jeans and boots. The jeans he wore were ripped and his hair looked all over but that was its natural style. He stood next to his sister with folded arms as his dark eyes looked over people.

"Can you at least look a little happier?" Alice asked as she turned to her brother; his attention turned to her.

"Why?" he answered back to her.

"Just for today," Alice said, "then you can go back to being the grumpy person you are."

"You aren't any better than me," Alistair said and Alice rolled her eyes, knowing her brother was right. Alice heard girls giggling and she then peered around Alistair's right arm to see it was right behind him. Alice raised an eyebrow when she spotted there were a group of girls looking at her brother. They were giggling behind him and pointing at the Scotsman and Alice then looked to her brother who was blissfully not looking in the girl's direction.

"Haven't you noticed?" Alice asked. Alistair unfolded his arms and scratched the back of his neck.

"Noticed what?" he asked

"Those girls behind you."
"The hyenas behind me?" he asked before he turned around. All the girls then waved in his direction before Alistair turned back to his sister, "so?"

"They're looking at you."

"A great observation Alice, I thought you were smarter than that," Alistair chuckled a little.

"I am thank you very much," Alice snapped at her brother," but they are looking at you."

Alistair scoffed, "I doubt that Alice. Why would girls like to look at me?"

"I don't know…" Alice trailed off before continuing, "you have large muscles and good looking." Alice was rewarded with a snort from her brother.

"Really Alice, me? Look looking? Ha!" Alistair then laughed, "I think not."

Before their conversation could continue, they were interrupted.

"Bonjour mon amies!" a voice called and both Alice and Alistair rolled their eyes, knowing the voice. Francis ran over to both of them but there was a girl with him as well, Joan was it?

"What," both Alice and Alistair said together

"Cheer up you two!" Francis said happily as this Joan girl looked over both of them. She had blonde hair that framed her face, blue eyes and pale skin. She must've been the girl Francis kept talking about, his new girlfriend. The girl was holding Francis' hand and she looked gentle and kind, a small smile on her face. There was no need for Joan to be greeted, the group already knew her because she was in their lessons and Francis didn't shut up about her.

"Nice to see you Alice," Francis smiled at Alice and she growled before the Frenchman turned to see Alistair was next to her. Francis then chuckled nervously as he saw the Scotsman was next to Alice; Alistair wasn't very fond of Francis like he was with Alfred. It was really anyone who showed a liking in his sister that Alistair wouldn't like them.

"Nice to see you Alistair," Francis said and all Alistair did was grunt and looked away from them.

"Joan is here to shop with you!" Francis said and Joan nodded

"I already have a dress," Joan said softly, "I'm here to make sure you all buy dresses."
"What if there's no dress I like," Alice said, determined not to snap at Francis' girlfriend, she was nice but she was French. The British and the French didn't usually get on. For example, just look at Alice and Francis.

"We'll make sure you get one," Joan said happily and smiled at Alice.

"Awesomeness has arrived!" a voice shouted and then a Prussian came charging his way through, his younger brother apologising for the other.

"Hey guys!" Gilbert said and the others shuffled around so they could form a circle. Ludwig came through, a little embarrassed by the albino's actions. Gilbert looked around and when he saw his girlfriend wasn't here, he frowned.
"Where's birdie?" Gilbert asked. Alistair and Joan both looked confused and Francis sighed.

"She's not here yet mon amie, just wait," he said, knowing his friend wasn't good at waiting. Gilbert stomped his foot but Ludwig then gave his shoulder a shove, giving a signal that he should act his age. The group then stood in a silence; some of them looked around to watched people walk, others stared at their feet unlike Gilbert who was humming loudly to himself. Ludwig swore to himself that if his brother didn't shut up, he was going to push him over but he was keeping that to himself. Did his brother really have to be this annoying? Ludwig was about to open his mouth when Alistair then glared over at the Prussian, it was more cold daggers being thrown Gilbert's way. Gilbert caught then looked and he swallowed and he then stopped humming altogether. There was more awkward silence before bickering could be heard. It was easy to tell who it would be seem as it was in a different language and there was a lot of 've's' involved.

"Luddy~!" the voice then charged at Ludwig, nearly knocking the German over but he managed to keep standing up as he was hugged by Feliciana. She hugged him closely and Ludwig put an arm around her in a way to show he hugged her back. The grumpier one, Lovina made her way over and stood in the circle next to Gilbert while her sister had just decided to stay on Ludwig's arm.

"We haven't missed anything have we?" Lovina asked as she looked around, giving Alice a slight smile to show a greeting before golden eyes looked to Joan and Francis.

"No you haven't," Alice said

"Really Joan?" Lovina said with a raised eyebrow

"You hurt my feelings Lovi," Francis said as he raised the hand that wasn't holding his girlfriend's to his heart.

"Don't call me that," Lovina snapped at the Frenchman.

"Honey, no winding up Lovina," Joan said calmly and Francis sighed

"Oui ma cherie," he said and both Alice and Lovina looked surprise.

"Well then," Alice said, "didn't expect that."

"Maybe Joan is ok for you," Lovina said and Joan just smiled at her; how does someone stay so level headed?

"Kesesesese~ someone has to wind you up Lov if Antonio isn't here!" Gilbert laughed. Lovina smiled sweetly in a mocking way before lifting her foot and stomping on Gilbert's.

"Mein Gott!" Gilbert howled as Lovina stomped on his foot; Ludwig was slightly glad Lovina did that otherwise he would have to step in.

"Shut the fuck up," Lovina hissed at the Prussian and all Gilbert did was stick his tongue out at her. The group started some small talk, Feliciana talked the most while Lovina, Alice, Alistair and Ludwig were quiet as the conversation went on.

"LOVI~!" Lovina then turned around to see who had called her name but with the excitement in the name, it was easy to guess who had called it. Antonio was quick to grab the Italian and spin her around in his arms even though she struggled slightly. It was an improvement; Lovi didn't struggle as much now!

"How the fuck did you get here?" Lovina snapped

"Mama drove me here!" Antonio said happily," she was happy to give me a lift so I could see Lovi!"

"Well stay away from me," the threat was empty and Antonio didn't listen to her anyway, he took the spot in between Lovina and Gilbert. The Spaniard was greeted by the others in the group but afterwards, Antonio spend most of his time picking out things the elder Italian was doing. Random chatter went through the group as they waited for the other two, Alfred and Maddie. It was easy to see Gilbert was waiting for his girlfriend because he had tuned out of all conversation and had turned towards the doors so he could see how was coming through them.
15 minutes later, the group was still standing there, waiting for Alfred and Madeline.

"They can't take this long," Gilbert wined

"It's Alfred, Maddie is probably trying to coax him out of his bed," Alice pointed out. As soon as Alice had finished talking, there was the sound of tires screeching outside and the sound of slamming doors. Angry shouting happened before Alfred came running into the shopping centre.

"Hey guys!" he said and charged towards Alice but as he saw Alistair, the American came to a gentle stop on the other side of Lovina seem as Antonio wasn't moving from her other side. Then, a frazzled looking Madeline came through the doors and the Prussian's face lit up like it was Christmas as the Canadian made her way into the circle, standing next to Gilbert.

"Birdie! Where have you been!" Gilbert said as he put his arm around Maddie

"Alfred told the taxi driver the wrong directions and then Alfred took over the taxi cab and drove like a maniac," Maddie said

"I did not!" Alfred argued

"Then the taxi driver and Alfred got in a fight as Alfred drove us here, nearly killing us so now there is one annoyed taxi driver that may sue us," Maddie said and Gilbert squeezed Maddie's shoulders.

"Alfred that was so unawesome of you! You nearly killed birdie!" Gilbert said but Alfred looked to Alice. The Brit rolled her eyes before she walked over to Alfred so he could hug her and she hugged back a little bit, just glad he was ok.

"Ok, what's the big guy doing here," Alfred said and Alistair glared at him

"I'm here so I can pay for all of your suits," Alistair said, trying to be level headed, "I've received money from all your parents so you can pay for them so I'm going with the guys." There was then a mini whine from Alfred but Alice elbowed him.

"Ok then, shall we get going?" Francis said and he got some excited faces and some that looked like they didn't want to be here.

"We'll meet up here in 3 hours so we can have dinner out, ok?" Joan said and everybody nodded along with groans.

"Let's go then! Come on girls!" Joan said as she then went over to Alice, grabbing her hand and then she went to Lovina and grabbed her hand too. She knew Lovina and Alice would be the hardest to get a dress for and were more reluctant so she grabbed them before they could run. Feliciana gave Ludwig a quick kiss before she bounced off and Maddie gave Gilbert a kiss too and followed after them.

"Off we go then!" Francis said and then went off, Antonio and Gilbert after him and then there was Ludwig and Alistair who hung at the back. Ludwig and Alistair could talk together while the others were idiots. They would probably become good friends by the end of this because this was going to be a very long day.

"Oh, I can't wait to get a dress! Ve~ I won't know what to do!" Feliciana said happily

"I know, it's going to be great," Joan said and Feliciana started to talk quickly, Joan pitching in to give her own opinion. While Joan and Feliciana were up at the front, Madeline, Alice and Lovina were all in a line behind them, dragging along. Madeline was more anxious about getting a dress; she wasn't good at deciding what to wear. Alice was looked depressed, not wanting to be there while Lovina looked at everybody and scowled, showing that she didn't want to be there and was being dragged along. No everybody liked shopping, it was hard work with fighting everybody through the crowds and some people were so desperate to get to some items, they would probably murder you. Shopping was high on the things Lovina and with Alice it was more what they were shopping for. Alice would go shopping if she was made to seem as she lived with her brothers and if it was book shopping, she would definitely go out.

"Ve~ come on sorella! Cheer up!" Feli said as she looked back to Lovina

"How can I when I hate shopping?" Lovina snapped back but her sister didn't listen to her snappiness.

"Ve~ what about you Alice?" Feli asked

"I'll go out if I have to," she mumbled

"What about you Maddie? Ve~" Feli questioned the Canadian and it shocked Maddie that the bubbly Italian remembered her name for once.

"I'll do it but I'm not very good at clothes shopping," Maddie said but it came out as a quiet voice. Feli smiled at them all before she turned around and started to make idle talk with Joan about dresses and colour but the others just rolled their eyes.

"Ve~ there's a nice looking shop! Let's go!" Feli then ran back to her sister and then grabbed her wrist.

"Come on sorella!" she said happily as she then dragged her sister towards the shop. Lovina looked to her friends with an 'I'll kill you' later look and the others laughed before following after the Italians, worried for Lovina.

The group didn't have to get far to find the Italians, you only had to listen to the 've's' and the loud swearing noises. At the moment, Feliciana was dragging her sister around looking at the necklaces and how shiny they were.

"Alright guys," Joan said and that caught Feli's and Lovina's attention, "you all have to find a dress, no buts or anything because we aren't leaving until you buy a dress." Joan drew out the words 'all' because as she said it, she looked to Lovina and Alice and peeked at Madeline. It may take a while to find them all dresses but eventually (hopefully) they would get there in the end. After the small talk, Feli was first to leave and go and grab a dress before she went straight to the changing rooms.

"Dammit Feli! W-wait up!" Lovina called and dashed after her hyperactive sister and into the changing rooms. Joan then looked to Alice and Maddie who afterwards went to go look at some dresses.
In the dressing rooms, Lovina was outside one of the two dressing rooms waiting for her sorella to come out. She crossed her arms and scowled like her usual self and while she waited, she looked around the whole place. There were dresses, necklaces and masks everywhere in the shop so it must've been prepared for any occasion. The shop was a nice cream colour so that it went with the white tiling on the floor which looked like it had been polished.

"Ve~ sorella!" Lovina stopped thinking and turned to her sister to see what dress she had picked up. Lovina scanned over it; it didn't suit her sister. It was too puffy and it was way too big for her. Lovina may of hating shopping but she did know what suited her sorella and what didn't.

"Take that off Feli, it doesn't suit you," Lovina said, trying to keep her voice low in case anyone else was around.

"Ve~ why not?"" Feli said and did a spin in it but Lovina sighed and walked up to her sister.

"See?" Lovina then lifted out the part that was too puffy, "it's not the right style for you and it's too big for you."

"Ok then!" Feli said and then went back into the changing room.

"Sorella?" Feli then suddenly called

"Sí sorellina?" Lovina responded

"Will you find me a dress? I want you to pick it out," Feli said softly and Lovina was shocked.

"W-what?"

"Ve~ I want you to pick out a dress and I'll try it on. I want it to be a dress you picked out sorella," Feli said

"If that's ok with you," Lovina then replied

"Ve~ it's okay with me!"

"I'll be back in a moment then, hang on," Lovina said and all she got was a tiny 've~' as a response. Lovina left then changing rooms to go and find her sorella a dress.

While Lovina went out of the changing room to find her sorella a dress, Alice and Madeline were looking for dresses. Joan was looking at masks for now so the other two were looking for dresses. Alice was wondering around looking for a dress, going through all of the colours they had while Madeline were on the other side of her, looking through the dresses.

"Hey Alice," Maddie said

"Yes?"

"What colour would you like to wear?" Maddie asked and then there was a long silence so Maddie turned to the British girl to see she was in thought.

"Alice?" Madeline called out her name

"Dark green or turquoise," was all Alice said

"Why?" Maddie asked. A small smile then appeared on Alice's lips as she thought.

"It's Alistair's favourite colours," she said
"You want to get a colour because it's your brother's favourite?" Maddie asked

"What's wrong with that?" Alice said, getting all protective but Maddie put her hands up to show she didn't want to fight.

"I'm saying nothing's wrong, I just thought you would want it in your favourite colour," Maddie said

"He's my brother and…" Alice suddenly trailed off, "I don't know actually."

"Well don't over think it, ok?" Maddie said as she then went back to looking at dresses and so did Alice. Alice had picked out a few but there was nothing that she thought would look good on her. They were all frilly and lacy but she didn't want that or they weren't in the colour she wanted.

"Hey Alice," Maddie said, "come here." The Brit then walked over to the Canadian girl to see what she was looking at.

"What?" she asked

"What do you think of this?" Maddie said as she then got the dress and lifted it up so Alice could see it. Alice saw it and went over to her immediately.

"Maddie… this is beautiful!" Alice said

"I thought you might like it," Maddie said softly as they looked over it. It was a turquoise dress, it had a halter neck and where it met at the front there was a little green gem in the middle that was the shape of a little heart. Then, there were little emerald drops falling from the top of the dress where the top of her busts were but they stopped when the dress went under someone's arms. It was then bare from then on and when it reached the hips, it then floated out a little. Right at the bottom of the dress, the colour was a shade lighter; it looked a little green when it was caught in the right light. Alice's eyes looked over it, it was beautiful. Alice didn't realise as she looked over it her eyes and mouth got wider and wider and Madeline couldn't help but chuckle a little. Maddie sure did known what her friend liked.

"I have to go and try it on!" Alice said with a burst of energy so she took it off Maddie and used her other hand to hold onto Maddie's wrist. Then, they were off to the dressing rooms.

Meanwhile, Lovina had returned with a dress for her sister. As she walked back into the dressing rooms, she was nearly run over by Alice and Maddie who barged their way past her.

"Sorry Lovina!" Alice called over her shoulder before she ran into the dressing room. Lovina sighed; it must've been a pretty dress if Alice was that happy.

"Here you are Feli, try this on," Lovina said and went over to where her sister was and handed her the dress.

"Ve~ grazie sorella!" she sang and took the dress of her sister and went to try it on. Lovina then stepped back from the dressing room and opposite the dressing rooms there was a wall. Against that wall was Madeline. So, Lovina went over to the Canadian and stood next to her, folding her arms and bending one leg against the wall as she waited.

"I see she's found a dress she liked," Lovina said ands Maddie looked to her

"I found it and thought she might've liked it but I didn't think she'd love it this much," Maddie said

"It's Alice, we usually get her clothes because she can't decide," Lovina chuckled and a chuckled emitted from Madeline as well.

"I wonder how the guys are doing," Maddie pondered

"Well they're probably getting stuck with bow ties and ties," Lovina said

"I bet Alistair is happy standing there," Maddie replied

"Oh yes, he'll be thrilled," Lovina said sarcastically and her comment made the Canadian smile a little.

"So, do you know what dress you're getting?" Maddie asked the other and Lovina shook her head, her hair shaking with her.

"No, I don't have a fucking clue," Lovina said, "what about you?"

"I don't know, something the same colour of my eyes or white maybe?" Maddie didn't sound too confident with her decision.

"Get something to match your eye colour," Lovina replied, "your eye colour is really different."

"You can't talk, look at your eyes," Maddie was quick with a response.

"My eyes are strange in general," Lovina said. Maddie then scowled and went to talk but then Feliciana came out of the changing rooms.

"What do you think ve~?" Feli asked and gave both of them a spin. The dress was a baby pink colour so it wasn't too hard on the eyes. The straps were thin, the top of the dress was plain before it came to her stomach area where there was a piece of material that went around it and tied into a smart little bow at the back; the lace fell down her back and they had little gems in the fabric. The dress then fell from there downwards but as it did, there were little bows that were hard to spot. Around the bottom of the dress there was a lining that was a darker shade of pink and it went up before it fell back down again, gentle little dips were being made. Madeline clapped her hands together and smiled.

"That's beautiful Feliciana," Maddie said happily but the bubbly Italian was looking at her sorella; she had picked it out and Feli did want to impress her sorella. There was a silence and Feli raised her hands into fists before she put them against her mouth slightly, waiting for a response. Then, a smile graced her sorella's lips and Feli then knew.

"It's perfect." The words were so simple but Feliciana could hear her sister's emotion behind them; she was happy. Feliciana didn't make a noise as she ran over to her sister and hugged her; Lovina hugged her back as she then got away from the wall so they were in the middle of the changing room, hugging.

"Ve~ grazie sorella," Feli said as she hugged Lovina

"I thought it would suit you," Lovina replied before she put her sister at arm's length, "now, let's get that off so we can pay for it."
"Ve~" Feli's eyes then lit up, "oh! Sorella! We haven't got your dress yet!" Feli said and gasped like she was in some sort of theatre, "I'll get dressed straight away!" Feli then ran back into the changing room to go and get dressed. Lovina sighed and ran a hand through her hair.

"Thought you were getting away with it?" the Canadian said from behind her and all Lovina did was turn to Maddie with as smirk.

"If I'm getting a dress, then so are you," she said and Maddie nodded.

"We don't really have a choice," Maddie said and pointed to the exit of the changing rooms, "Joan is looking for masks and now she is about to come back. She saw the dresses Alice and Feliciana now have so she's waiting until we get ours. She said we weren't leaving without any dresses or she would pull our ears off."

"Typical," Lovina muttered, "so she's really waiting?"

"Yes, she did go off on her phone for some reason but I didn't want to ask," Maddie said and Lovina then scoffed.

"Probably texting that French bastard," Lovina scoffed

"They're in love Lovina, like you and Antonio," Maddie said and crimson then covered Lovina's cheeks.

"Ve~ she's right sorella!" Feli joined in

"Stai zitto sorella!" Lovina snapped back with her hands in fists, embarrassed.

"So guys, what do you think?" Alice's voice interrupted their conversation so both girls then turned to see Alice. The dress she was wearing suited her perfectly, going well with her eyes colour.

"It's gorgeous Alice," Maddie said

"It's great on you," Lovina added on. That was all Alice needed before she then went back to go and get changed.

"Lovina! Madeline! Don't think we've forgotten about you two!" Joan then came running in to the changing room, "come on! While those two are getting changed, let's go get dresses!"

"Ok, this wasn't what I had in mind," Alfred said as he looked down at what he was wearing. The shirt he was wearing was all too frilly and it was pink. Alfred, the American and wanted to impress his girlfriend was not going to wear pink to the masquerade.

"And I am not wearing it either," Alfred said and glared at the others. They were all sitting in a changing room and there were only two changing rooms. In front of the changing rooms was one, large sofa and a large chair. In the large chair was Alistair; on the sofa were Francis, Gilbert and Antonio while Ludwig was getting out of a suit in the other changing room after he had found the suit he wanted. All of them had their suits waiting while the others tried on theirs, the suits were just next to them across Alistair's legs. But now, Alistair had a large hand over his mouth while the bad touch trio looked at him before they started to howl in laughter. Gilbert laughed so hard he fell off the sofa, Antonio was crying in laughter while Francis bent over in stitches. Alfred, on the other hand, was not impressed. With both hands on his hips, he scowled at all of them.

"This isn't funny!" Alfred shouted but it just made the trio laugh more and this time, Alistair had started to laugh.

"I'm changing!" Alfred then went back into the changing room to go and change into one of the other shirts. Then, Ludwig then came out of the changing room with his suit in the large suit bag. This suit was simple and black and there was a little handkerchief in the pocket which was a baby pink. Francis had said to get him in that shade of pink for some strange reason but nobody argued because otherwise it would cause too much drama with Francis around.

"Alright then!" Francis then clapped his hands together, "now, it's Gilbert and Antonio's turn!"

"I don't wanna," Gilbert wined and Antonio got to his feet and so did Francis while Gilbert stayed on the sofa. Antonio grabbed his suit off of the Scotsman before he headed off into the changing room Ludwig had just come out of.

"Why not?" Francis asked. As he did, Alfred came out of the changing rooms, agreeing on the suit he had picked first which was like a James Bond suit but it had a turquoise coloured handkerchief in its pocket.

"It takes effort!" Gilbert wined and Francis then put both hands on his hips and looked at Gilbert, a scowl on his face.

"Well! I am not letting you disappoint my cousin!" the Frenchman scowled at the other. It then went silent in the changing rooms while everybody stared at Francis, even Antonio who had popped his head out of the changing room to see what was happening. Gilbert's jaw had fallen open before he spluttered.

"B-b-b-ut s-she hu-what?" it all came out at once as Gilbert then got to his feet.

"I said my cousin," Francis repeated and this made Gilbert look him dead in the eyes before he looked to the American who was now sitting on the sofa where Antonio once sat.

"She's tried to tell you before but you took it as a joke," Alfred said and rolled his eyes and they landed on Alistair so the American looked away.

"H-huh?" Gilbert stood there in shock as he then looked back to his French friend who was just smiling at him.

"So if you hurt her~" Francis sang as his eyes glared at his Prussian friend, "you'll have two people to look out for~" everybody just stared at Francis, who did someone sing like that but have a deadly tone behind it. All Gilbert did was nod before he went over to Alistair to get his suit and he went into the free changing room. Francis then rolled his shoulders and skipped over to the sofa and sat down next to Alfred, the American was looking at him.

"Looks like that shook him a little," Alfred said

"But at least it got him to move," Francis said happily. Alfred shook his head and leaned forward slightly to put his head in his hands.

"Dude, I cannot believe I'm related to you," Alfred said with a loud sigh.

"Done~" Antonio sang before he whipped the curtain back for everybody to see. He was in a black suit that showed his tan off nicely, a white long sleeved shirt and his jacket was buttoned up. Black trousers went with the polished black shoes; in his pocket was a little red handkerchief and he was wearing a red tie as well. Even though most people would wear bow ties, Antonio didn't really like them and most of his family wore ties so he didn't want to break the traditions.

"Perfect Antonio!" Francis said

"Yay~" Antonio said before he then went back into the changing room, leaving Alistair, Alfred, Francis and Ludwig outside waiting for them.

Now the boys had to get some masks; this would be fun.

Madeline was going through the railing of dresses, her eyes catching on some of the dresses but she didn't really think that they would suit her. She sighed as her hand flicker through the dresses but as she did, her hand caught on something that was soft. She then scowled to herself and flicked back only to see it was something auburn. Maddie then screamed in shock and stumbled backwards, only to fall onto the floor in shock. She was breathing fast and nearly screamed again but when Lovina then stumbled out after her and fell onto her knees next to the Canadian, Madeline nearly slapped her friend around the head.

"Lovina!" Maddie said, "what are you doing?"

"What does it look like I'm doing!" Lovina snapped at her friend, "I'm hiding!"

"You scared the wits out of me!" Maddie sighed and then looked to the Italian, "if you do that again, I won't hesitate to hit you," the Canadian scolded her friend.

"Come on, get up," Lovina said as she then got to her feet and she then helped Madeline to her feet as well. Both of them brushed themselves off before Lovina then hopped behind Madeline.

"What are yo-"

"Hiding in progress!" Lovina shushed her friend as she peered around Madeline's shoulder.

"Lovina," Maddie said and stepped aside, "enough."
"Wha-"

"No," Madeline stopped her friend half sentence, "you're going to this masquerade either way and you need a dress. You cannot impress Antonio if you do not have a dress!" Lovina them flushed scarlet, her eyes were shocked.

"B-but i-"

"No, go and find yourself a dress before Joan or even your sister does," Maddie said, taking charge for once. With both hands on her hips (an action off Francis) she looked at Lovina. Lovina then shut her mouth before she nodded and turned on her heel but Maddie stopped her.

"Lovina?"

"Sí?" Lovina turned around to see the Canadian snap her fingers and wink at her.

"Make sure it's going to impress Antonio."
"Oh you-!" Lovina was about you say something but she huffed and decided against it and she then stormed off in the other direction of her friend. Maddie then laughed to herself but as she saw Joan coming her way, she went back to looking at the dresses. She started to flick through the dresses again before Joan came over, her phone in her hands.

"So Madeline," Joan started, "what colour dress would you like?"

"I don't really know," Maddie said, "something white or the same colour of my eyes. What do you think?" Maddie then turned to Joan and the girl was texting on her phone before she smiled at Maddie.

"I have just the colour!" Joan said and before she grabbed Madeline's hand and they both raced over to the colour section.

"What now?" Maddie asked

"You pick a colour," Joan said

"Out of all of these?" Maddie questioned as she looked at all the colours you could get, she forgot about half of these colours.

"Oui! I'll be back in five ticks after I go and look for Lovina."

"No worries," Maddie said, "she's gone to find a dress."

"Ok then!" Joan clapped her hands together with in mind that in her hands was her phone, "let's pick a colour!"

As both of them faced the colour wheel that was on the wall, Lovina was just opposite them, looking at a dress that had caught her eye. She then took it off the railing and ran into the changing rooms, hoping nobody would notice but she should've known that Joan turned as she heard the swish of a dress so she just caught the dress. Joan's smile turned bright as she then texted someone on her phone and Maddie looked to see Joan was smiling. Her smile looked painful from Maddie's view.

"You ok?" Madeline asked

"Amazing~!" Joan said and then jumped on the spot. Maddie took a step back, making a mental reminder to always give Joan something to eat before she left the house.

Francis smiled as he got two texts from his girlfriend; he was waiting for Antonio and Gilbert to get changed.

"Awesomeness is done!" Gilbert called so Francis span around to see what the Prussian was wearing. Ludwig paled a little and Alistair snorted. Francis tilted his head as he looked at his friend. Gilbert wore a neon red shirt with a brown suit. Francis looked like he was going to faint on the ground.

"No no no mon amie!" Francis put his phone in his back pocket before he then failed his hands around and ran to Gilbert, "what were you thinking?!" the Frenchman cried as he looked at his friend. By now, Gilbert was looking at his own suit to see what was wrong. Recognition crossed the Prussian's face along with the certain laughter of a Spaniard.
"Mein Gott Antonio!" Gilbert shouted and stomped his foot like a child, "what the hell did you do?"

"I did nothing~" Antonio sang as she got changed

"I don't believe that for a damn moment!" Gilbert snapped, "let me at him!" Gilbert was about to go into where Antonio was changing before Francis stopped him.

"Non!" Francis said and twirled Gilbert around in a circle to confuse the Prussian; it worked. Gilbert's head span in a circle before he focused his eyes on his friend.

"What?" Gilbert asked

"I'll be right back mon amie~" with that, Francis then dashed of somewhere, there was nearly a little puff of smoke after him because he was that quick out of the changing room.

"Gilbert, I suggest you change," Ludwig said

"Right after I take a photo," Alistair snickered and took a photo on his phone. Gilbert then went pink in the face and scrunched up his nose and he then went into the changing rooms.

"Alright! I'm done!" Antonio said as she then came out of the changing room. But as soon as he did, Francis was back with lots of items in his hands.

"Non! It will not do!" Francis said and turned his Spanish friend around and pushed him back into the changing room.

"Put this on!" Francis then shoved another suit into Antonio's face and Antonio sighed but started to get changed.

"And you!" Francis then handed Gilbert a suit, "put this on." Gilbert didn't complain as he then took the suit off Francis. The Frenchman then turned back around and relaxed, his shoulders dropping in satisfaction. Then, he went over to where Ludwig was sitting on the sofa and Francis then sat next to him happily, waiting for his friend.

"So what do you think they're gonna look like?" Alistair asked and Ludwig looked to Francis.

"They'll be magnifique!" Francis clapped his hands together when something buzzed in his back pocket. He then jumped up, got his phone from his pocket before sitting back down again. Francis then started to text someone and Ludwig tried to look but the Frenchman hid the screen.

"Awesome is ready!" Gilbert said as he then came out of the changing room. Gilbert walked into the middle of the changing rooms and did a little spin before he posed with both of his hands on his hips with a smile on his face. Gilbert's suit was a navy blue but in certain lights it almost looked black. The suit had a little black bow tied and in his pocket was a little purple handkerchief that popped out. Black shoes went with the whole outfit and Gilbert looked nice.

"Magnifique!" Francis cried and got to his feet.

"What do you think bruder?" Gilbert asked

"It's fine, you look sensible for once," Ludwig said

"Ah~ petite Madeline has turned you mon amie!" Francis said and smiled at his friend.

"Ok ok, I'm taking this off now, this thing is so itchy," Gilbert said before he then span with a little hair flip and then he strutted into the changing rooms. Francis then smiled to himself.

"At least we got him in a suit this time."

Madeline took in a deep breath again as she looked at herself in the mirror. After picking a colour, she had gone straight to the changing room with a dress she liked and gotten changed as soon as possible. Next to her was Lovina who was still getting changed but was also refusing to come out of the changing rooms. Maddie looked at her dress again before she turned around and pulled the curtain back and she walked out. Feliciana, Alice and Joan were all either sitting down or standing up as she walked out and stood in the middle of the room. Madeline's dress was a violet colour and it was close as it could be to her eye colour. The dress was simple in her opinion; there were no straps on the dress. In between her chest area there were little crystals that were gathered together in the shape of a diamond and sat perfectly; the top ones were white before they went down in different shades of red. The dress then floated down and suited the Canadian's figure. Around the back of the dress at the top of Madeline's spine started diamond shaped crystals that fell down her back until they went down her spine and then flew outwards behind the dress and then they covered the front as well. Little crystals of a burgundy red, a darker shade of violet and clear were all spotted around in the dress from the hips down. When the crystals got to the end of the dress, they went around the front of the dress too just where it ended. Maddie stood there and waited for the others to react; she was going a shade of pink because everybody was watching here.

"That's…" Joan trailed off

"It suits you perfectly Maddie," Alice said and gave her a smile

"Ve~ it's really nice Maddie!" Feliciana cheered before going back to coaxing her sister out of the changing room next to her. Madeline then looked down a little.

"Do you think so?" Maddie asked

"Of course Maddie, we wouldn't lie to you, would we?" Alice said before Maddie nodded

"So I guess this is the dress then," she said, "yes, this is the one." Madeline then went back into the changing room afterwards; she said it a second time but with more confidence. When she went into the changing room but that was when Lovina came out of the changing room. After a while of her sorella begging her to come out, she finally did so. Lovina's dress was strapless like the other dresses but it was a beautiful red colour. Around the top of her busts was a red lining that went all around the dress top area. Underneath her busts was a golden lining to separate the dress a little. Right under the golden lining on the right there was white lacing that travelled in spirals to the left hand side of Lovina's dress. It then split down the left hand side so if she walked, her left leg could be seen. Golden and black lacings were intertwined with each other to tie up the back and the remaining lace fell down her back. Lovina looked anywhere but to her friends, her hands were in fists next to her. There was a silence before someone broke it. It was a little sob at first and it was Feliciana. Lovina scowled slightly as if to say that she didn't like it but Feli nodded to indicate that she loved it. Lovina then looked to Alice and Joan; Alice smiled brightly at her and gave her a nod while Joan happily squealed with joy before she then gave Lovina a thumbs up so the Italian then retreated back into the dressing room to go and get changed.

Shopping done, now for the masks.

Thank you for staying patient with me, I know it's annoying but I am determined not to put this on hiatus.

Thanks for reading this chapter! Until the next chapter guys!
