"I see, do you have a boarding pass?" The woman asked, getting ready to type his information.

"No, what are the chances I will be able to board this one? I don't care about the cost"

"Not very high" The woman told him, typing something on her computer. "All the seats have been taken sir, and we have about ten people waiting, just in case we have cancellations"

Naru felt the world crumble around him. He wasn't going to make the flight. He wasn't going to see Mai... They didn't even get a chance to talk about what happened. He didn't want it to end like this.

"Noll!" A voice called from the entrance. Naru turned, to see Lin, Madoka, Luella and Martin, all holding suit cases in hand.

"What are you all doing here?" He asked, raising a brow. Lin handed him a suit case.

"We're all going on holiday!" Luella and Madoka cheered.

"Where?" Naru asked, utterly dumbfounded.

"Japan" Was Martins answer. Naru felt everything stop around him.

"But... there isn't any spaces on the plane" Naru pointed out. Madoka smiled.

"We saw about the volcano and knew the planes would be out of service for a while, so Lin called Mai's teacher and found out she was going home. So we got the last five tickets for this last plane" Madoka explained, not even taking a second to breathe. Naru would have smiled, but felt it too unlike him, so instead a smirk tugged at his lips.

"Go get you girl" Lin encouraged. Naru raised a brow, but nodded none the less...

"So, how was your weekend with Mai?" Lin inquired. Naru looked up from his spot between Luella and Madoka. Naru nearly scowled at teasing undertone.

"It was nice" he answered plainly, successfully fighting back a blush.

"I hope you used protection" Madoka joked, but kept her smile at bay and adopted a serious tone. Naru looked down to hide the slight red dusting his pale cheeks.

"Madoka! My son is better then that! I want grandkids, so don't you dare be using protection!" Luella threatened, her glare hard as if she was talking this serious. Naru closed his eyes in mute horror.

"Father, please swap places with me" Naru practically begged, his voice nearly cracking.

"Sorry son, but there is a reason I sat here" Martin informed, hiding a small smirk of his own. Madoka and Luella grinned.

"Naru, don't be so cold!" Madoka reprimanded, her grin still in place. But the disturbing thing was, Luella had matched it. There were working together and Naru knew he didn't stand a chance. And the fact they were calling him Naru meant trouble. Madoka never used that unless she was teasing him. Luella leant toward him and whispered into his ear.

"We saw you and Mai through the gap in your certain" She told him, winking at his slightly flushed cheeks.

"You know, when she came round for dinner, and you gave her dessert" Madoka teased. Naru was begging for a distraction.

"Noll, I saw the bracelets on your desk, and I'm guessing they were from Taniyama" Lin interrupted, much to Naru's delight.

"Yes, the one in the case was for you" Naru told him, completely ignoring Madoka's and Luella's pouts. Lin nodded, pulling one out of his pocket. He passed Naru his one, and when he did so, the one on his own wrist became visible. Madoka tugged on his wrist when he took his hand back. She turned his hand so she could get a better look at it. Madoka smiled.

"Wow, that's so pretty, and it's in Chinese?" Madoka asked, looking at the Chinese characters in delicate script. Lin nodded, letting himself smile. "Wow Luella, your new daughter is just amazing"

"I know! I have always wanted a daughter! We should taker her shopping when we get there!" Luella cheered. She looked at her son, seeing him sulking. She pulled him in for a hug, and Naru reluctantly hugged her back. "I'm sorry, we are just teasing. We really love Mai, and we want to best for the two of you" Naru nodded. Luella pulled away, and grinned at Madoka. "Plus, if I don't get grandchildren anytime soon, I'm confident Madoka and Lin will make me a god mother" Lin nearly choked.

"What?" Lin coughed, still trying to breathe. Naru smirked. "Weren't we teasing Naru?" Lin asked, looking at Madoka accusingly.

"She bullied it out of me!" Madoka blamed, holding her arms up in surrender.

"So it is true" Martin commented. Naru had to stop himself from chuckling darkly. That was about the most nonsense he could handle for one day. So instead he got one of his books and decided to read the rest of the flight.
