Every night you've been teaching Prince Zuko how to use dual swords. He learned rather quickly.

Right now your standing on the deck staying out of the way, Prince Zuko has been very angry all day and the last thing you want to do is make it worse. So your perfectly content looking out into the ocean, it gave you time to think anyway. You're almost back to your old self.

(Zuko)

"Get out of my sight!" you yelled at an incompetent crewmember. You turned and sighed heavily.

"Be patient Prince Zuko" uncle said calmly.

"I am patient!" you yelled impatiently. "Uncle it's not my fault that the crew can't do anything right" you stated calmly.

"Prince Zuko lets sit down and have a calming cup of tea, you need to relax" uncle said.

"I don't need to relax!" you yelled as you stormed out of the room.

You came across one of the crewmembers looking for you. "Sir the decks are cleaned, and the helmsmen is following the route you set, but..."

You cut the man off "I don't care, just fix it!" you yelled at him as you walked onto deck.

You've apparently scared the entire crew away because the only one on deck is Kana. Not that you minded. You approached her and she turned around when she heard you. Kana smiled when she saw it was you.

"Hey Prince Zuko" kana said with a smile.

That's it you completely lost it. "Stop calling me that!" you yelled angrily. Kana's face held a look of hurt and confusion. "I hate that you call me Prince Zuko! Why can't you call me Zuko, like you used to" you ranted.

Kana seemed very surprised. She walked over to you with a smile. What the hell you just yelled at her and she's smiling!

Kana walked over to you. "I hated calling you Prince Zuko, I thought it would be disrespectful of me not to" Kana explained. "I'm glad your just plain old Zuko again" she finished with a smile.

Kana then turned away and leaned against the railing of the ship. you stood next to her. The two of you stood in silence. You actually didn't realize that you were looking at Kana until she started giggling.

"Zuko what are you looking at?" Kana asked as she tried to stop giggling.

"You," you blurted without thinking. You became extremely embarrassed.

Kana giggled a little more before turning away and looking back out into the ocean.

You continued to look at her. She wore a red halter top that ended at the bottom of her rib cage, and a red skirt with a slit along one side. Her long red hair was blowing in the wind, without thinking you tucked a piece of her hair behind her ear. When she turned towards you to say something, you swiftly caught her lips in an innocent kiss.

Your eyes widened in shock for a second but then you closed your eyes and kissed Zuko back. He wrapped his arms around you and rested his hands on your hips; you wrapped your arms around his neck pulling yourself a little closer.

"Oh I see you're busy" you heard Iroh say.

Your eyes opened and you and zuko broke away from each other. You blushed madly and turned to look out into the ocean once again. Zuko coughed but you knew it was a fake cough.

"Uncle what do you need?" Zuko asked in a voice deeper than his own.

"Oh nothing" the wise old man said. You could tell that sly old man was smiling even though you couldn't see his face.

One of the crewmembers ran over. "Prince zuko, you are wanted in the control room." Zuko nodded to the man but lingered as the man walked away.

"Kana I..." Zuko trailed off, you turned and smiled at him waiting for him to continue. "...I...I really liked kissing you" he said lamely, then he bolted away, off to the control room obviously embarrassed. You smiled and giggled at his reaction. He was so adorable sometimes.

You walked to Zuko's room, once inside you actually started to think thoughts that actually made sense. 'Zuko kissed me! And he liked it!' you thought happily, you were so happy you wanted to jump on the bed however you simply lay down with a happy sigh. You thought about the kiss. It was so innocent but then again it was your first kiss. You're happy that Zuko stole your first kiss, and your hoping your second kiss will be with him followed by many more.

'I sounded so stupid! Kana probably thinks I'm an idiot, or she's mad at me because i just kissed her without asking' your thoughts came rapidly; most of them were about how stupid you feel and how lame you sounded. But your best thoughts were about the kiss with Kana. It was an innocent kiss, after all it was your first kiss, you had no clue what you were doing or even why, but you were glad you did. Kana's lips were so soft and delicate. You subconsciously licked your lips, you really wanted to kiss Kana again.

That night you had dinner by yourself in Zuko's room because Zuko was eating in the control room and you didn't want to deal with the crew.

As it got later you shined and sharpened your dual swords. It didn't take that much time and very soon you were bored of it.

You lay on the bed wondering where zuko is. It's really late and normally he's back by now. Maybe it just feels later than it actually is because you want to see Zuko again.

You laid back and dangled your feet off the bed. 'Maybe me and Zuko can be together, it just might work' you thought hopefully as you played with a few strands of your hair, daydreaming.

While you were lost in your happy little world Zuko walked in. He stopped and stared at you for a few seconds.

"Hey Zuko" you said giggling.

"Hey" he said "what's so funny?" he asked

"Oh nothing" you sighed.

The room went silent for a little bit. It wasn't a pleasant silence it was an awkward one. So you had to break it. "Do you want to train?" you asked gesturing to your dual swords. Yep totally smooth, that's totally romantic.

"Not tonight" Zuko replied sounding tired.

You sat up and moved so you weren't lying in the middle of the bed. Almost instantly zuko took off his armor and lay down on his side of the bed. And once again there was silence.

You hated the silence.

So you just had to break it. The only thing you knew to say was "Why did you kiss me earlier?" you asked bluntly as you slightly leaned over him.

Zuko's body tensed. He sat up and faced you, thrown off by your question. Without thinking he said "you looked beautiful" he said quickly than added " I mean you always look beautiful but in the sunlight and wind, no I mean um..."

You cut Zuko off by kissing him. After a few seconds you broke away. Zuko had an adorable smile and looked dazed, almost like he was in a trance. Usually you wouldn't make such a bold move but after earlier you couldn't keep your feelings away from him any longer.

"I like you Zuko" you said softly with a pinkish blush invading your cheeks.

Zuko snapped out of his daze "I like you too" he replied smiling.
