Chapter 21

Emily awakes to JJ gently shaking her. She gives the blonde a small smile, and looks around to see Garcia in the kitchen on the phone. "Is the movie over?" she asks.

JJ nods "Pen is ordering us some takeout, you want anything special. Emily shakes her head, and attempts to get, up, but winces, instantly remembering her injury.

"What do you need?" JJ asks.

"Bathroom." Emily replies.

JJ helps her up and proceeds to walk with her. Emily chuckles and lets go of her hand, "I think I can find my way to the bathroom and go just fine, I'm injured, not invalid." JJ blushes "Right, sorry."

Emily smiles "Don't be sorry it's kinda cute."

Emily returns from the bathroom and finds Garcia and JJ quietly talking. Garcia looks up at Emily and grins, "Food should be here shortly, in the mean time you two can dish." Emily sighs and sits down next to JJ.

"So, what's it like being immersed in the lady love, I know you pumpkin are used to it", she says nodding at Emily. "But what about you JJ, is this your first lady friend?"

JJ blushes slightly and looks down at her hands "Well, I messed around in college a little, nothing serious. But Emily will be my first real girlfriend, if she'll have me." JJ turns and looks at Emily expectantly.

Emily just smiles, "Of course, I'll have you JJ, but you'll have to get in line, I keep my girlfriends on a strict rotation schedule so no one feels left out."

JJ's eyes widen until she sees Emily's smirk and realizes that she is kidding. She punches Emily lightly on the shoulder "You are such a jerk."

Emily feigns hurt, "It's not nice to hit a gal while she's down JJ."

JJ leans in and gives her a small kiss. "Sorry sweetie didn't know you couldn't take a little love tap."

Garcia giggles "You guys are so cute" she gushes. Unknown to them, she has been taking pictures and is sending them to Morgan as she speaks. She thinks to herself, "These two are perfect are perfect for each other even if they don't know it yet."

Their playful banter is interrupted by a knock at the door. Emily insists on paying for the food since JJ and Garcia are her guests, and makes the short trip to the front of her apartment. She opens the door, and smiles at the familiar face delivering their food.

"Hey Jake, how's it going" she asks, handing over the money for the food plus a nice tip.

Jake smirks mischievously "I'm doing great Miss Prentiss, and I can see you are too. Two at once, now even I'm impressed", he says nodding towards the two women in her apartment.

She winks at him, "The more the merrier Jake, have a good night."

He stares longingly into the apartment and barely mutters out a "You too Miss Prentiss" before Emily closes the door.

She closes the door chuckling heading to the kitchen where JJ and Garcia are waiting.

"What's so funny" JJ asks.

"The delivery boy Jake thinks I'm having a wild, sex filled, night with you two lovely ladies."

Garcia chuckles and JJ frowns, "Well did you correct him."

Emily grins, "Nope, I thought I would just let his young imagination work."

JJ sighs and shakes her head "Gosh Emily, you are incorrigible."

Emily leans in for a kiss but JJ turns away "Not now Prentiss, I'm starving" she says as she fills her plate with Chinese food.

Emily turns to Garcia "Note to self, never come between JJ and her food."

Garcia chuckles, "Pumpkin I learned that long ago, and had a nasty bruise to show for it."

JJ's head snaps up, "Oh Pen, you cannot tell her that story. Haven't I apologized enough"?

Garcia smiles slyly "Yes you have my dear, but I think Emily has the right to know what she's getting into."

Emily nods excitedly "Yes Garcia, please do tell."

Garcia smiles and sighs dramatically, "Well this happened, a while ago, about a year before you joined the team. Anyways, so JJ and I were having a nice quite lunch, and I saw JJ was down to her last fry, so I good-naturedly snatched it off her plate, mind you I had every intention to give it back, but this women leaps up so fast to grab the fry, and basically punches me in the face."

Emily bursts out laughing, nearly spitting out her water, and turns to JJ, who is bright red. "Wow Jay, didn't know you were the aggressive type, guess I'll have to keep that in mind for later", she says suggestively.

JJ mumbles something about it being an accident before going back to her food.

Emily smiles at Garcia, "Thanks Pen, that could be lifesaving information, god knows what she would do when she is armed."

JJ looks up in shock about to interject, only to see that they are messing with her. "You guys suck" she mumbles.

Emily turns to JJ and squeezes her arm, "You know were only teasing you right?"

JJ smiles at Emily's genuine concern for her feelings, "Yeah, Em. I know, I'm just not so used to it."

Emily grins "Well get used to it Jareau cause you are stuck with us".

JJ smiles brightly "I wouldn't have it any other" she says and gives Emily a peck on the cheek before returning to her food.

"I'm so jealous" Garcia gushes, "Maybe I should find myself a nice lady friend to do the nasty with."

JJ blushes "Pen, we are not doing the nasty!"

"Yet" Emily adds with a grin.

JJ sighs "Is all you two ever think about sex?"

Emily and Garcia glance at each other then both nod eagerly at JJ.

She shakes her head "No wonder Morgan loves you two so dearly."
