Chapter 21 Summer Trouble Lost Mermaid

Around 3pm in the afternoon, the twins walking on the hallway wearing their black coats but covered in dirt. Due to the fact that after having lunch during 12 pm, at 12:30 pm they decide to start training and doing mock battles beside the beach which lasted around two-in-half hours.

"Man you almost got me there, Sis!..." Xylon laugh while walking the same pace as his twin sister, the thought of he was almost got fired by her twin sister's signature attack in point blank range due to she use her light abilities to blinded his field of vision and then taking that chance to get closed to him but lucky for him it takes seconds to charge, giving him enough time for a counterattack.

"You too, Xylon…" Daylix with a smug expression that she was fooled but the same time impressed that her twins brother create a shadow like clone of himself to distract her while he was on the ground in shadow form getting close to her in secret while she herself was distracted, but it didn't take long for her to realize that something was off, She said with a smile, "Every time we train I can feel that we're growing stronger….."

"Yeah!…." He nodded in agreement just as his twin sister said they're growing stronger and stronger every time they train which is progress and in time they'll be as strong as Serix and they could fight the other members of the organization, He signs, "But somehow every time we always end up a draw…." recalling after their mock battle it end up with a tie.

The twin sister also sighs, "It's because we're twins…." she stated which both of them understand, "We're always in sync together…" as she said that both of them are mentally link to each other which is one of their unique traits.

Then an idea pop out in young twin boy nobody's head, "Hey, How about we ask Serix to train with us…." Xylon suggested and the same time eager to see if he could match or surpass him.

Daylix thought about it and nodded, "That's a great idea… It's been a while that the three of us train together…" she smiled so does her twin brother as both of them start reminiscing one of their fondest memories during their time in the organization was them along with Serix training together and competing each other's strength.

Suddenly both of them heard a ringing sound.

"What's that?…." Xylon heard it wondering what it is. "It came from Lucia-san's room….." Daylix also heard it and pointed at Lucia's room. As both twins enters the pink mermaid princess' room to see the source of the sound.

Upon entering they saw a pink flip cellphone flying towards them, but Daylix manage to catch it with both hands. Both of them instantly recognize the sound which really came from this cellphone.

"Xylon, Daylix!..." Hippo was surprise the same time glad that the young twin girl nobody caught Lucia's phone if she hadn't the penguin will be in big trouble afterwards, Xylon walks up to the penguin and asked, "Hippo, what are you doing in Lucia-san's room?"

As the penguin explains Daylix instantly recognizes the cellphone which belong to Lucia, judging from the way it rings means someone is calling. She flips the phone and saw Hanon is calling so she press the button to answer, "Hello?..." she heard and listen to Hanon's voice, "No Hanon-san it's me Daylix…. Lucia-san?... the last time I saw her…. she was with you to watch some concert… I see….. Okay we'll be right there…."

After the call she sighs, "What's wrong, Sis?..." Xylon asked which could easily guess that something was wrong.

"Lucia-san got lost at the concert….."Daylix said while sighing, "My guess is that after the concert she got lost in the crowd….."

"I'm worried Lucia-san has no sense of direction…." Hippo also sighs considering she has no sense of direction she might get into trouble.

The twin female nobody kneel down a bit and pat the penguin's head while smiling, "Don't worry Hippo we'll find her, right!?.." said in a reassuring tone.

Xylon nodded while saying, "Yeah!, come on let's go before she runs into trouble…" both of them went back to their respective rooms before they head out they got changed first then use the dark corridor.

Maki's restaurant

In the restaurant, Serix wearing his waiter attire was busy managing the bar, waiter duties, and helping out the kitchen. Despite all the workload he was already used to multitasking because of his high adaptive skills and lucky for him they're not that many costumers.

While doing his work, Maki enters with a bag of groceries on each arm and went up to the bar. Serix was busy cleaning some drinking glasses then when he saw Maki walks up to him, he quipped, "Can a have your order, Sir?"

Maki laugh a bit of his witty remark as he places both groceries on the counter while saying, "No I'm good…. already have a lot on my hands …." With that said Serix help Maki carry the groceries to the kitchen.

"Thanks for helping us out Reis… I know it's your day off….." Maki showing his appreciation towards the long spiky black haired teen despite today is his day off, the former called him for help while he himself was busy buying some ingredients on the market, but the latter assured him by saying, "Don't worry about it Maki-san…." He shrugs like it was nothing to him, "I have nothing else to do except doing little physical exercise."

In truth he did a little training on his own in the morning around 4am which lasted about three hours or so after that he was planning to spend the whole day sleeping and let the twins guard the mermaid princesses that's when Maki called him.

Now he felt his cellphone ringing and vibrating in his pocket, he pick up his phone and saw Rina's number calling him then click to answer, "Hey, Rina…" he listens and could tell from the tone of her voice it is a pressing matter, "What!…. right…. I'll be right there….."

"Something urgent?…." Maki asked. In response Serix sighs, "It's just Lucia got lost after the concert…" continues to sighs that not only the pink mermaid princess is a bit of an airhead also she has no sense of direction. Those two traits formed a dangerous combo to cause or get into trouble knowing that he couldn't left her alone, "Can you handle things without me, Maki-san?..."

Seeing that expression, Maki smiled nodded, "It's fine Reis, we don't have that many costumers right now unlike the other week." Knowing Reis going to help out a friend, "So go on…. today is you're day off….."

"Thanks…" Serix gave a grateful nod and made his way to the staff room to get change and after that went outside while saying, "No rest for the wicked huh….." the thought he was planning to spend the whole day sleeping after helping Maki's workload but now the mermaid's need his help so he shrugs, "Guess time to find the lost sheep….." in thought, 'More like lost mermaid…'

City Street

In front of the fashion store, Hanon staring through the glass window admiring the different types of dresses while Rina sitting on a bench besides outdoor garden pot waiting for someone.

"We're here…."

"Sorry to keep you waiting….."

Both mermaid princesses turn their heads and saw the twins arrived wearing their usual civilian attire walking up to them.

"To think Lucia left her phone….." Hanon smiles wryly while sighing over her friend for being absent minded at times, "But we're glad you answered it, Daylix-chan." Eyeing at the twin nobodies, "Both of your sensing abilities we could find Lucia in no time." Showing absolute confidence over the twins despite they're age they're really dependable allies.

"I've also called Serix and told him…." Rina notify them as she stand up, "He might already start looking….. We should too…."

All of them nodded in agreement and began searching for Lucia as a group.

It's already sunset, Serix walking on the streets trying to sense where the pink mermaid princess Lucia had gone off to, as he continue walking he sighs, "Geez, Where the hell Lucia run off?…" Knowing that leaving her all by herself will get into trouble like last time. As he continued walking then he stop, "I sense her…. She is nearby…."

He heads to where Lucia was as he ran normally like any normal human considering they're a lot of people on the street knowing that it will freak them out if one of them saw him disappear in thin hair but in truth he was just running in super speed that no normal eyes can keep up with him.

"Yay!"

"Huh?..."When he heard her voice upon arriving he saw Lucia beside on the street basketball court cheering on a male teen about one or two years younger than him has dark brown spiky hair and gray eyes also wore a sleeveless gray shirt with some necklaces and beige pants.

City Street- Basketball court

Seeing Ryo won over a single opponent in basketball she couldn't help but impress.

"Quick buck again, eh?"

She heard a voice as she look to her left and saw three guys composed of one is short wearing a yellow hoodie, grey pants, and an orange cap, the middle one is tall has brown hair wearing a button up t-shirt and blue pants, and lastly the other one is fat wearing black jersey shirt and under it a grey t-shirt and also grey shorts and eyeglasses.

"Try it against us." The tall guy said as if he was provoking a challenge.

"Ah, they've come." Seeing the three guys, Ryo walks up to them and have a discussion while Lucia was just staring at them wondering what they are talking about when Ryo pointed her she blink in surprise and the same time confuse.

Ryo walks up to her who was still a bit confused, "We've decided. It'll be 3-on-2."

"On-2? You can't mean…. "She finally understood how this is going.

"Yup." He nodded but Lucia protest, "No way! I don't know how!" considering she was bad at any sports at school due to her being klutz.

"His family runs a Karaoke place. If we win, we get to sing all we want for two hours." He stated, "You just have to stand around in the middle."

"Aww, man!" She complains and disappointed that she won't do anything but the same time glad due to she has no knowledge how to play basketball.

"Good grief…."

The pink mermaid heard a familiar voice she turn around and saw Serix walking up to her with right hand scratching the back of his head and the left on his hips while sighing, "Everybody is worried about you that something might happen….. but here you are having the time of your life…."

"Se- Reis!..." She was surprise by Serix' appearance as the latter standing in front of the former giving her a stern look, "Rina called me….." he stated, "Say that you got separated from them and got lost… instead your enjoying yourself while others worried about you…."

After hearing what the long black haired nobody said, She almost forgot that her friend were really worried about her. While she was panicking Ryo eyeing on the long spiky black haired teen, "Are you happened to be Lucia-chan's boyfriend?…."

"No, I'm just a friend…" Serix shook his head and stated, "I only view Lucia a troublesome little sister always gets into trouble…" that comment made her frown and pouted as he held out his hand and introduce himself, "I'm Reis Hale but everyone calls me Reis…."

The brown spiky hair teen replied, "I'm Ryo, it's nice to meet you Reis…" both of them shook hands, the former stare latter's eyes and could tell that his a good guy and didn't sense any malicious intent, "I see that you've been taking care of Lucia…" he gestures Lucia beside him while saying, "I hope she wasn't a handful?..."

"A little…" He stated causing both teens laugh, "Hey!.." while Lucia pouted in annoyance at them for that statement, Ryo stare and observe that Reis is taller than him then he thought of an idea, "Say now that you here why not join us…."

Serix raise a brow as he listen to Ryo and understood that they will play 3-on-3 street basketball if they win, they get to sing for two hours for free. The long black haired teen nobody thought about it for a bit then nodded, "Sure, Why not."

Hearing him agreed, "Alright!..." Ryo delighted that Lucia's friend decides to join them. After having a discussion with they're opposing team which they agreed that it will 3-on-3.

"Play to ten. Whoever gets ten points first wins." As Ryo explains the rules then the tip-off commence both centers for the ball. Extending his arms, Ryo trying to get the ball but his opponent knock it aside to prevent him from getting it.

Seeing the ball bounce by, Lucia panic and didn't know what to do in this situation. Then one of the opposing team's teammate intercept it as he was about to catch it.

Unexpectedly to them, Serix intercept it first before the opponent. Ones Serix grabs the ball he dash towards the hoop before anyone could catch him then dunk the ball.

Ryo and the opposing team where in awe by Reis' speed but for Lucia she could tell that he was holding back considering she know how fast he is, recalling back at the palace when he fought Lexia, her eyes couldn't keep up due to the nobodies' speed it was like a blur or he disappears in a blink of an eye.

As the game went on it was completely one sided the opposing team couldn't get to score not once. Every time they tried to scored Serix could just blocked it in a nick of time then make quick passes to Ryo and while defending they couldn't keep up the former's speed always going for dunks, shots, and also making quick passes to his teammate.

Now the score is nine to zero, Serix dribbling the ball towards the hoop but two men blocking him attempt for a double team while the other is guarding Ryo.

The long black haired teen nobody halt for a bit and saw the two men in front of him are sweating and breathing heavily the same goes the one guarding Ryo. 'Looks like I went overboard…..a bit…..' sweat dropping a bit he thought considering he was holding back guess he was caught up in the moment that he hadn't played basketball for a long time, 'May be I should hold back a bit more….'

"Come on, Reis, Ryo-kun! You can do it…" Lucia cheering on his teammates despite not doing anything but things is under control without her.

Hearing Lucia cheered behind him, Serix snickered and thought of a plan. As he was going for the drive causing the two to react an act of desperation but suddenly the latter made a quick back pass without looking behind.

The ball bounces and made its way to Lucia, which she caught it. "Oh, no!" She panics now that the ball is on her wobbling hands. The two men in front of Serix reacted and go after Lucia instead of guarding him.

Seeing how they react in desperation, The nobody shouted, "Just Shoot!.."

"Shoot it! Lucia!" Ryo yelled to Lucia to shoot, in response she just throw the ball but only hit the hoop and bounce to the left.

"Sorry!..." Lucia exclaims that it didn't shoot in the hoop "!.." but Ryo intercept it then dunk the ball.

The pink mermaid was astonish that Ryo immediately jump and grabbed the ball and then dunk it for the win but for Serix knew about it after seeing how the opposing team sweating and breathing heavily and also they become desperate so he use that to his advantage so decided to pass the ball to Lucia causing the two guarding him to go after her and the one guarding Ryo distracted while the latter is near the hoop ready for the rebound.

"Victory!" Ryo ecstatic and run towards Lucia, "Lucia, that was a great pass!" he hug her causing the latter to blush, "We did it, Lucia!" both of them start dancing, "Yay!, We Showed them, Lucia!" Seeing how gleeful he is Lucia couldn't help but laugh happily.

Serix just snickered at the two, 'I wonder how Kaito will react ones he saw this….' In thought it might be amusing and how things will turn out between Lucia and Kaito.

"You were great, Reis!" Ryo walks up to him along with Lucia, the former astound by his teammate's skills, "No you were amazing to think you were this good and not only that…. you're not even breaking a sweat….."

Seeing Ryo staring at him with eyes of admiration, "Yeah….." Serix just smile wryly the same time bit unease, 'I really should've held back… I don't want to attract unwanted attention to myself.' Cursing himself that despite pretending to have emotions he couldn't control some of his strength, instinct, and reflexes.

While taking a note in his head to add his training about self-control then hear Ryo said, "Join us Reis, let's celebrate our victory with Karaoke….. "

"Yeah, Please joins us!..." Lucia said with pleading eyes.

"Karaoke, Huh?" Hearing that word some parts of the nobody's memories resurface which was something embarrassing which made him felt anxiety while thinking about it. He stares at Lucia's eyes for a second pleading him to join but he could easily guess that after all she is a mermaid and like her fellow mermaids she love to sing but then again maybe she doesn't want any misunderstandings if Kaito saw her with Ryo.

He signs, 'Now that I'm here might as well join in..' thinking about it and decided put it all aside and focus on his duties, "Sur-" was about to agreed but suddenly pause, 'This presence!...' he felt a dangerous presence not far from here.

"Is something a matter?" Ryo asked wondering why Reis become silent all of the sudden.

"Ah Yeah….." Serix spoke off, "I just remembered that I have an urgent meeting with someone…. " walks away while saying, "Sorry but I have to go… look after Lucia for a while…." Knowing he can trust Ryo then look at the pink mermaid and said, "And Lucia…. Be patient Kaito will be coming for you… "

Said in assuring tone, the pink mermaid princess nodded and holds on to that, with that said Serix left leaving Ryo and Lucia by themselves.

City Street- Alleyway

As Serix made his way to the back alley, the first thing he saw is a couple of low ranking nobodies compose eight dusk and six creepers lurking in the shadows.

He materializes one pair of his Infernum Draco on his right hand then dash head on to the enemies. The Dusks saw Serix charging towards them *SLASH* before they could react, each one of the dusks were sliced in half the same time then dissipates by one sword swing.

'I don't want to waste time dealing with small fries…..' Serix in thought, wasting no time as he was using his full speed, makes quick work on the eight low ranking nobodies rather than wasting his time on them.

After the dusks disappears the creepers immediately change to their respected weapon forms *SLASH**SLASH**SLASH* but they were slice into pieces before they could do so then dissipates.

Standing near the deep end of the alley, Serix try to sense the presence which he could easily guess it belongs to one of the members of the organization whom his already familiar with. "!..." He manages to detect the presence but faint means it's getting farther and farther.

'I'm not letting you escape!' He then rushes up the side of the building then dash to the rooftop. Upon reaching the top he materializes his coat and taking off his contact lenses. Leaping from rooftop to rooftop luckily for him that there aren't that many people on the ground staring at him due that his speed couldn't keep for the ordinary and untrained eyes making him invisible to them, '!..' he stop for a bit when the presence sense on top of that tall building.

Staring at top of the building thinking it might be a trap, he sense that their no other presence aside the one he chases. He thought using the dark corridor to get to the top much faster but shook his head knowing its better look before you leap so trap or not he immediately jumps and landed on the building wall then dash towards the rooftop. Upon jumping and landing on the rooftop he hears a familiar voice.

"My, you sure are having fun…. Pretending to be one of them…."

Hearing that voice and saw Lexia sitting on the roof fall protection rails. Snapping around with Infernum Draco firmly in his hand, Serix spat, "What do you want Lexia? It's not like you to just drop by for a random visit."

"Aw, you're so mean! Can't I just drop by to visit a fellow nobody?" Lexia said with a pout in her voice while taking of her hood revealing hear face. She has porcelain color skin, long light blue straight hair with two bangs framing her face and reaching down to her chin, and cat like blue eyes and also wearing nobody emblem drop earrings.

"Yeah right…." Serix scoffed sarcastically while saying, "Normally you could just send some low rankings or pawns like the water demons instead of confronting me. That's how you and the organization do things, right?"

"If I do that you'll just dispose them easily just like what you did when you come here…." She stated, "But for the water demons….pfft!"The thought of it made her giggled, "It's amazing to think that the so called Dark Lovers of Gaito with their heads still attached when they run in to you and the twins…." She stares at Serix with a perplexed expression, "Since when you become so merciful?…"

"Don't get the wrong idea….." He corrected while staring at her with stern eyes, "I don't want to waste my energy on a bunch of sponge for brain idiots led by a vain sponge playboy idiot…." Then his eyes turn into a death glare, "But if they're really wanted go at it….. I will slice and burn them!"

After hearing that Lexia couldn't help but laugh and the same time amaze, "hahaha… Now that's the rank VIII I know who is well reputed as the 'Death Slash Arsonist'!…" she continue to laugh a bit due the derogatory nicknames towards Gaito and the water demons, "True that they're not much of a treat…."

Indeed for the past weeks she observe or spying their daily behavior and their power without them realizing and finally concluded that their power are far inferior compare the power she possessed which she could easily take over the castle anytime. But decided play along as their trustworthy ally knowing what Gaito, the water demons, and the one who is still hiding inside castle really are to her and the Organization.

"But the same goes for the mermaid princesses, right?…." The long light blue haired nobody stated causing the nobody in front of her to raise a brow as she continue flippantly, "All of that transforming to humans, wearing flashy dresses, and singing….. Despite all of that they're just full of hot air… If you know what I mean?…"

That last part Serix knew what it means, 'Figures!...' he could already guess no more like she knew that the singing of the mermaid princesses won't affect nobodies. Then again all members of Organization XIII are very observant so she might already figure it out eventually back at the north pacific palace.

She waves her right hand then a figurine version of the three mermaid princesses made of ice floating on the palm of her hand, staring idly at the icy figurines while saying, "Yet I find it strange that these feeble creatures called the mermaid princesses are the princesses of hearts but to me their just fragile beings which I could easily break…" she shattered the figurines into tiny pieces with a hint of satisfaction then shrugged, "But alas I'm not allowed to…. Who knows what The Superior and Mr. Second-in-command will do to me….."

Both Nobodies knew about it that there is one rule in the organization that they have to follow is the Superior's orders are absolute if you disobeyed you'll be erase on the spot. Lexia staring at the sky with a thoughtful expression for a few seconds she nodded and with a smile raised a finger into the air, "Then again there is another option; beating them half dead and breaking them emotionally will suffice, don't you agree?.."

That statement causing him to harden his glare towards her, "What do you want Lexia or-"he materialize his other Infernum Draco on his left hand while saying, "did you come by to finish where we left off?..."

Seeing his reaction, she just smile wickedly, "If you want then I don't mind….. we will do it here…. With a lot of people watching us when we go all out that is…."

Upon hearing her suggestion part of him wanted finish her off but the downside they're will be collateral damage, civilians involved in the crossfire. While thinking how to take their fight elsewhere, "But I deal with you some other time when the time is right.…." when he heard her say that he was mildly surprise, She smiled at his reaction and decide to change the subject, "Back then you should've have died guess you survived courtesy of the Sea Goddess' blessing…"

"Then you should have made sure of that rather let some pawns finish me…" He berated her as he narrowed his eyes, "Is there an actual reason that you came by Lexia, or did you came here to annoy me?"

The female nobody tilted her head and said, "Actually, I just came here to tell you that this world will come to end ones I find what I'm looking for…"

'So she's looking for something….. More important than the mermaid princesses? …' Serix thought to himself. However, before he could say anything Lexia said, "Well, I guess that's it for spoilers! I can't let everything out of the bag, now can I, tehe!" the dark corridor engulfed her while saying, "And one more thing you should stop pretending that you have a heart… it doesn't suit you…." She stated, "No matter what they feel about you in return you couldn't feel anything about them…" With that she disappeared in a Corridor of Darkness while her last words echoed, "After all we're nobodies… we feel nothing…."

Leaving Serix by himself as both twin blades disappeared from his hand. Thinking about the last part of what Lexia said before she left which he couldn't deny that it's true that he was pretending what he used to be but due to his lack of emotions it's just putting up a charade that people bought it.

Shaking his head to put that aside, Serix thought about Lexia, 'Man, as far as I know she was sometimes lazy doing missions and let someone do the work for her. The only times I've seen her takes missions seriously is something for her benefits or ordered directly by the Superior whom she can't say no or else it'll be curtains for her.'

'… Wait, the thing she's looking for could it be…..' His eyes widen as he finally realizes, 'that explains why heartless didn't appeared on random places like it normally does. If she finds it then it will be the end of this world….' Lowered his head deep in thought recalling her words back at the palace saying 'I have other things that need attending' the way she say it might be a difficult task that needed her full attention, he understood, 'But since this world is huge…. Finding it is like finding a needle in a haystack… I guess they're still time..'

Felt a sigh of relief that their still time as he looks at the sky the sun was setting and then it's already nighttime, 'Lucia is in good hands guess I let Kaito get to her….' As he was about to head home and call it a night then he thought about how will Kaito react if he saw Lucia with Ryo, the thought of it made him snickered, 'Might as well see it for myself…' made his we down to the black alley of the building using the dark corridor.

On the side of the street, Rina and Hanon continued their search for Lucia with the twin nobodies taking the lead using their sensing abilities to find Lucia.

"I'll be worried if we don't find Lucia soon." Rina walking behind the twins, feeling unease that they haven't found Lucia and its already night thinking that her friend might got into trouble which make her feel more unease.

"You don't think she might've gone home already?" Hanon asked for a possible outcome but, "No. I think she'd stay in this area and wander around." The green mermaid princesses just stated due to experiencing Lucia's bad sense of direction like last time.

"You're right." The blue mermaid princess agreed feeling the same way as her fellow mermaid princesses also her friend. While continue walking and looking around, "Any luck you two?" Rina ask the twin nobodies in front of her.

"Nope…." Xylon shook his head, "She's not here…." while continuing to sensing the pink mermaid princess' presence.

"Me too…. I didn't sense her on this area….." Daylix stated, "She might be wandering far from our range….." noticing what she said might make the two princesses feeling more worried, she look back and said with a bright smile on her face, "Don't worry about it…." The young twin girl nobody reassured the two princesses behind her, "Ones we find Lucia…."

"We'll come to her immediately in no time flat …" The twin boy nobody look back and giving them a smile like his twin sister.

"We're counting on you two…" After seeing their smiling expression Rina feeling a bit of relief so does Hanon. The twins are very reliable to them as of late the same goes for Serix even though his not with them and feeling confident that they will find their lost friend

""!.."" Both twins stopped and then look to their right. "Is something wrong?...Did you find?..." Rina asked wondering why they stopped and notices the twins' heads turn right like they saw something so she looks and saw someone familiar, "Hanon!" immediately pushes Hanon near the corner of the wall to hide from plain view, "What?" the latter was surprise then the twins joined them on the corner causing the blue mermaid to be confused even more.

The four of them are now on the corner of the wall hiding, Hanon was still confused but when she saw Rina and the twins take a peek of what they saw so she decided to join them wondering what was that all about.

"Welcome! Welcome! Especially Mermaid Princesses! Welcome!"

"She's…!" Hanon immediately recognizes the dreadlocks haired woman despite wearing a mermaid costume and handing over pliers in front of a store which has a mermaid store signage.

"Eriru." Rina said along with the twins keeping a keen eye at the water demon.

"Why is she doing here?..."

"Who knows?"

Hanon and Rina questioned and wondering why Eriru is here and the same time talk about bad timing that there were still in the middle of searching Lucia and now the water demon pop out of nowhere while wearing a mermaid costume.

"Welcome! Welcome! Welcome!" Eriru cheerily handed over the pliers the same time waiting of her target to come to her.

"Why is she dressed like a mermaid?" Hanon pointed out while asking Eriru's get-up. Rina just shook her head and said, "I don't know. I can never figure her out." Knowing their enemy from every encountered she couldn't tell what's going in her head.

"I know what you mean." Hanon sweet dropped and understood what her friend said.

"More like she's making herself look like a fool….."

"Serix did tell us that the water demons are just a bunch of sponge for brain idiots…"

Xylon and Daylix bluntly stated despite they're the enemy but they are nowhere near compare to Lexia and Organization XIII. From they're point of view just as Serix said about the water demons are nothing but a bunch of 'sponge for brain idiots' who were not warrant to their attention and letting the mermaids to deal with them.

"Where are you, Mermaid Princesses?" The water demon waiting patiently for the mermaid princesses come to her.

Suddenly Hanon realizes while they were looking for their friend then Eriru showed up, "You don't think she capture Lucia, do you?" She asked considering Eriru made an appearance might be a bad sign.

"It's possible." Rina simply stated knowing that Eriru is here means a negative possible outcome, "What do you think you two?" the green mermaid princesses asked the twins knowing how smart they are.

"Well in my opinion there is no way for Lucia to fall for a trap like that…." Xylon stated while commenting, "I mean look her plan is plain simple and obvious only someone like her could fall for it that simple, right?…."

The two mermaid princesses giggled and could help but agreed with the young twin boy nobody said the water demon's plans was too obvious and there is no way they could fall for something like that.

"Lucia can be a klutz and an air head but at least she can see through this less creative plan of that water demon…." Daylix also stated which all of them agreed despite all of Lucia's flaws but at least she can see through the water demon's plans due to its obviousness, but the twin girl nobody thought of something, "Unless…."

"Unless What?..." Rina asked feeling isn't something she's going to like hearing.

"Unless it will be just like back then with that other water demon name Izuru….." Daylix said causing the two mermaid princesses to widen their eyes and her twin brother understood as they recalled back when Izuru tricked Lucia thinking Rina was captured but instead she ended up getting captured before she realizes that it was a tricked.

"Hey, baby, wanna have some fun?" Eriru trying to invite some customers, "I haven't seen a single Mermaid Princess." Deep in thought wondering when the mermaids will come out, then suddenly three cats approach her, "Shoo, shoo! Go away! I'm not a fish." She hops continuously trying to scare of the cats but instead it only aggravates them then "Aarrgh!" one of them bites her her ankles, "Owwww!"

She hops away from the cats unbeknownst to her Hanon, Rina, and the twins follow her to the bridge. Eriru had enough so she jumped to the waters while saying, "Darn. Plunge!" with that the mermaid princesses also jumped to the water to go after the water demon while the twins checking their surroundings to make sure they weren't any bystander, seeing no one is around they jumped too to join them.

As Eriru was swimming away until she hears a voice.

"Halt."

The water demon stops looks back and saw none other than the green and blue mermaid princesses, seeing them appeared, she couldn't help but smile, "Hey! The Princesses really did show up." She turn around while feeling gleeful, "I really am lucky."

"No you're just run out of luck…"

"!.." She hears another voice but suddenly something constricted her whole body when she looks down it was a large black shadowy hand holding her tight and also saw its extension connected to a black hooded figure wearing a mask similar to Serix and Lexia albeit small but she already knows that small hooded figure's name reluctantly thanks to Lexia.

"Let go of me-!" Eriru trying to wiggles her way out but the large shadowy hand tightens its grip a bit and then "!." a laser beam of light went passed almost the side of her head incinerate couple of tips of her dreadlocks.

"Oops I miss…."

The water demon was shaken of what happened then she saw another small black hooded figure pointed an open glowing hand at her.

"The next one will be your head unless you answer our questions truthfully …" Daylix declared with an emotionless tone.

The water demon shivered in fear and mermaid princesses were taken aback by the twins' sudden aggressive actions then they recall the twins are nobodies just like Serix and Lexia which make sense. The mermaid princesses stares the water demon with accusing eyes, Hanon first to ask, "Where's the Pink Pearl Princess?"

"What? Pink-chan's here, too?" Hearing that Eriru regain her usual self and turn her head from left to right while trying to wiggle her way out, "Where? Where? Where?"

"You mean you don't have her?" Rina mildly surprise by the water demon's reaction which means she doesn't know which is to be expected coming from her.

"No. Why? What are you four talking about?" Eriru confused by their sudden asking questions.

"We were wrong." Rina said in a low voice then Hanon suggested, "Rina, let's go back and look for Lucia." Knowing there is no time dealing with her that there are still in the middle of searching Lucia's whereabouts.

"Yeah, let's go." The green mermaid princesses agreed, "Xylon, Daylix let her go…Sorry to bother you." With that said the twins complied.

"Guess today is your lucky day…" Xylon retracted back his shadowy hand to his sleeved then along with his twin sister swim away with the mermaid princesses to continue their search.

Eriru sweet dropped the same time tick off, "Hey! Where are you going without fighting me?" feeling insulted that she was ignored.

"Sorry, but we're busy."

"We'll play with you next time."

Rina and Hanon simply stated ignoring the water demon's goading due to they have a friend to find and that's their top priority right now than dealing with her.

But Xylon halt a bit while materializing his umbra angelus on his hands while saying, "If you want then fight me instead…" tighten his grip eager to test his new techniques on an enemy despite knowing she's a weakling.

Seeing that mini black hooded figure with his scythe on hands causing the water demon to be scared and have second thoughts as she recalls of what Lexia said about them that there are not someone she should pick a fight with.

Daylix in the other hand sighs and approach her twin brother, "Just ignore her Xylon…. She's not worth it…." She places her hand to her brother's shoulder to persuade him knowing he could take the water demon on but the same time it's a waste of time considering Eriru is just a small fry to their eyes.

The comments said about Eriru really tick her off even more, "Don't mess with me! You're not getting away that easy!" she snapped her fingers then fifteen screw driver heartless appeared and surrounding them.

Both mermaids sighs seeing that there is no other choice but to deal with her, "You're gonna fight us while wearing that?" Rina simply pointed out the water demon's getup causing the latter to realize that she hasn't taken of her costume.

Hearing their song is affecting the water demon and the heartless while the twins decide to sit this one out and watch the sideline knowing how this will end.

Eriru submerge herself from the waters but she could still hear them singing, "What the heck do you mean, "beautiful sea"?" she complains, "Ridiculous! Huge waves, a huge storm… It's a "vengeful sea"!" trying maintaining herself but the ocean waves wobbled her movements while the heartless were shaking in pain.

The mermaid princesses submerge from the waters while continuing singing.

After the song Eriru spinning madly resulting creating a whirlpool and the heartless got drawn in to it.

"It's not over yet! Let's go!" Rina simply stated and began singing her song.

"Oh, give me a break!" Eriru had enough of it and disappears while the heartless vanishes leaving a captive heart and disappears.

When the water demon left the green mermaid princess's couldn't finish her song, "Hey, wait My song's just starting." Rina outcry whine, "Listen to MY song!" the volume of her voice startled Hanon, who was beside her when they were singing.

The twins were also startled by Rina's scream but they were thankful that they are underwater and hopefully no one can hear the green mermaid princess 'scream.

While walking on the side of the street, Serix saw a familiar face on the other side, 'Is that Kaito?...' indeed it was Kaito running on the other side of the street and from the latter's expression which he could easily tell that his in a hurry.

Knowing why Kaito was running in a hurry, spiky black haired teen nobody decides follow Kaito in secret albeit six paces behind. Upon arriving he sense Lucia and Ryo at the building rooftop, Kaito immediately took the fire escape stairway which led to the roof.

As Serix follows to the roof, upon arriving he saw Ryo descending from the stairs. "Reis…" Ryo saw Reis, the former walks up to him and said, "Thank you for looking after Lucia, Ryo…."

"No problem, Reis…" Ryo simply said then turn his head as he look back a bit while saying, "That guy Kaito….. I'm envious of him that he has someone like Lucia liking him ….." he turns away and looks up the star with a wishful expression, "I wish I could find someone like Lucia…"

Seeing his expression Serix could easily guess that Ryo likes Lucia, but it's ashamed that Lucia likes Kaito. "I know we just met at the court but I can tell you're a nice guy….." He places his hand on Ryo's shoulder and said a reassuring tone, "Who knows one day you will find someone like Lucia….. who is less of a handful….."

Both teens laugh as they part ways while saying.

"See ya, Reis…"

When Ryo left Serix ascends to the roof. Upon arriving he saw Kaito and Lucia having a moment together which he decides to eavesdrop.

"I'm sorry." Lucia apologizes for making Kaito worried, "But, Kaito, just now, you called me your girl." When he arrived she couldn't help but feeling touch by his words.

Kaito blushes then he turn around while his eyes close, "I didn't think he'd lay off unless I said something like that." He explains it to her then look at her straight in the eye still blushing, "You don't have to get all serious, dummy."

"Oh, that's why. I was surprised." Lucia simply just smiles at him and in thought, 'But made me happy. Even if it wasn't true, it made me happy.'

"Such a tender moment…"

Both of them hear a familiar voice as they turn their heads and saw someone standing on the entrance stairway, ""Reis!"" surprise that he was standing there without them realize. Serix walks up to them Kaito first to spoke, "Where have you been, Reis?" he asked, "Those guys from the basketball court said that you were there with Lucia then ran off…"

The long black haired teen place his hand on the back of his head and said, "I had an unexpected meeting with someone…" causing both Kaito and Lucia confused wondering who was he meeting with, Serix look at Kaito with a smirk, "By the way you don't have to get all work up… Ryo is just a friend that me and Lucia made.." simply stated, "I ask him to look after her while I was away…"

Kaito couldn't believe what he just heard, "Seriously you only met him yet you easily trust him…" dumbfounded that his friend can easily trust people when they first met.

"I'm just good at judging people…. that's all." He shrugged while simply stating.

"What Reis said is true!" Lucia support Serix' words to clear any misunderstandings, "Ryo is a nice guy he was just looking after me nothing happened…."

With that said Serix winks his eyes, "More importantly… I never knew you were this possessive when it comes to Lucia, am I right Lucia?" he winks at Lucia causing the latter to blush and smile a bit.

"Like I said before I only said it so he could keep his hands away from Lucia!…" Kaito redden in embarrassment while justifying his reason, "That's all nothing happened!"

"Right right….." Serix couldn't help but laugh of seeing both of their expression which was priceless for him then his stomachs growls in hunger causing him to be embarrassed, "All this running around searching and talking makes me hungry…"

"It's already night come on. Let's stop talking and let's go." Kaito regain his composure and simply said, "Everyone's probably worried."

"Okay!" Lucia nodded.

"There is pizza restaurant not far from here" Serix pointed out, "I'll call them and we will wait there while we eat…. my treat." He leads the way while Lucia and Kaito followed.

Down below, Hanon, Rina, and the twins were walking around after beating back Eriru. Rina was still a bit miffed that she wasn't able to sing her song, with Hanon and the twins wondering how to calm her down. Rina mumbled, "Water demons are so rude…"

"Yes, yes…" Hanon replied, sweat dropping a bit. Then Xylon interject, "Even you haven't sing your song that water demon was already about to keel over…" as he explains causing the green mermaid princess to be annoyed even though the water demon was feeling defeated without finishing her song still felt a bit insulted.

Seeing her expression still miffed about it, Daylix also interject, "Let's just call it a win in our book…. Right now we should focus on finding Lucia-san…."

After hearing that, Rina regain her composure knowing that there is no point on dwelling over it and focus on what's most important. "You're right let's go find Lucia…." Rina simply stated which all of them in an agreement.

Then her phone ringing and vibrating in her pockets so she picks it up and answer, "Hello… what….. You already found Lucia… Okay will meet you there bye… "

"Good news Lucia has been found…." The green mermaid princess announces the good news to them with a smile on her face feeling grateful that their friend was found.

"Thank goodness…"

"That's Serix for you…"

Hanon and Daylix are overjoyed that Lucia has been found and safe courtesy of Serix.

"Where are they now?…." Xylon asked out of curiosity wondering how or where.

"He said there in a pizza restaurant treating them we should join too." Rina said and also delighted that after all of these they can now eat an enjoyable meal like nothing happened.

"""Okay""" Hanon and the twins are ecstatic that Serix will be treating them.

As they arrived at the pizza restaurant, Lucia have an earful talk with Hanon and Rina for making them worried while Kaito and Serix just watch wryly and while the twins eyeing on the menu wondering which one they should pick.
