Welcome one, welcome all to the last ever chapter of RWBY: Bloody Snow: Volume 1! Before I begin, I will warn all readers that this chapter contains scenes of a sexual nature. Reader discretion is strongly advised. I put a brief note where it starts, and it runs to the end, so if you wish to not read it, read no further than that. (Or rather, skip to the end note if you'd like to read that.)
Weiss stepped off stage, handing the mic to the girl walking past her onto the stage. This had been her third carol where she'd sung the lead part and her throat was starting to get sore from the sudden use she was giving her vocal cords.
"Whooo! Weiss! Way to go!" Ruby cheered as she ran up to Weiss and jumped into a hug that spun Weiss in a full circle before Ruby let go so they could keep walking.
"I had no idea you could sing like that!" Pyrrha exclaimed excitedly as they passed her in line to take the stage.
"Be careful not to go overboard." Blake said, walking up beside them, her face once again partially hidden in a book.
"Come on, Blake! Put it down and have some fun!" Ruby said, pushing the book down so Blake would pay attention to her surroundings.
"I had fun. Now I just want to have fun reading this." She responded waving the book slightly.
"Leave it, Ruby." Weiss said as Ruby opened her mouth to protest. She stopped a man who was walking in the other direction and asked the time. He showed her his watch before they continued in opposite directions. "Either way, it's almost time for the little ones to go to bed."
"Yeah, they look pretty tuckered out." Ruby replied swiping her hand in the direction of the kids who were all starting to cuddle up to their parents.
Weiss found Claude across the room at the bar, watching Yang juggle a few bottles as she laughed at a red-faced man who was trying to keep up with her. She tugged Ruby in their direction and sat in the stool beside Claude just as the guy dropped a bottle.
Weiss caught the falling bottle with a glyph, surprising Yang and making her throw one of her bottles too high in the air. Yang put the others down as Weiss caught the rogue chardonnay with another glyph just before it landed on the head of a girl sitting a few stools away. The girl looked up and caught the bottle as Weiss let her glyph disappear. She nodded at Weiss like they were old friends before she popped the top and served herself and her friend another glass of wine.
"Sorry about that." Yang said, rubbing the back of her neck in embarrassment.
"It's fine, nobody got hurt." Weiss shrugged. "This time. Anyway… I think it's almost time for the little ones to head off."
"Right you are, Miss Schnee." Claude nodded looking around the room at the sleepy children who were now mostly sitting with their parents at the numerous tables.
"And can you drop the formal address? At least while my father isn't here?" Weiss asked again wondering why it felt weird to be addressed so formally after only a few months away from her usual life.
"Of course… would you like to instead be addressed as Heiress?" Claude asked, a twinkle in his eyes.
"God, no!" Weiss replied as Yang and Ruby started laughing at her response. "Weiss is fine."
"I'll get them to stop the karaoke so you can make your announcement." Claude said, getting to his feet.
"Wait till the end of the song though." Weiss said as he walked away.
"What announcement?" Ruby asked, this being the first she'd heard of anything of the sort.
"Just about bonuses and telling the kids that Santa might've come a bit early." Weiss said with a smile. In her head, she knew she had gone overboard this Christmas, but she really wanted a complete change from the years past. This year, she was confident there was nobody who'd be able to find something to complain about. Except her father, maybe.
On stage, the girl finished singing the song to cheers from the crowd that quieted as the elderly butler walked across the stage.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls!" He said loudly into the mic, his voice vibrating around the room. "Lets hear it for the organizer of this wonderful party, Weiss Schnee!"
The room literally exploded in cheers as everyone found Weiss sitting facing the stage. After a minute, Claude started tapping the microphone to get everyone's attention.
"The time is currently ten thirty, and before all of you who have kids to put to bed leave, Miss Schnee has an announcement to make." He finished before turning the mic over to Yang who had followed him to the stage and was talking to the band.
Weiss stood up and took a deep breath as the crowd shuffled closer trying to stay silent so they wouldn't miss her unamplified words. Ruby gave her hand a quick squeeze before she let go. "Well, there's obviously so much to say, and not enough time to say it without boring you, so I'll try to be quick."
The room stopped shuffling as everyone listened to Weiss. The effect of complete stillness was amazing that even though they weren't working, they still treated Weiss as if their continued employment was at stake.
"I'd like to thank you all for your hard work up until now, and into the future. This castle wouldn't function without each and every one of you." Weiss paused as a round of applause broke out and was soon silenced as they realized Weiss wasn't done speaking yet.
"For all the workers, you should have a bonus that was deposited within the last couple hours. Consider it my thanks to you for keeping this castle amazing!" At that comment, the crowd erupted in cheers. This time, Yang had to bang on the mic several times to get everyone to quiet down. Weiss just stood where she was and smiled at the crowd while she waited.
"And lastly, for all you kids…" She paused as a shy little girl stumbled out of the crowd, confused as to how she got there. She saw Weiss and hid behind one of the legs of a woman who looked like she might be able to eat the kid whole. She laughed at the almost comical scene and the people within view joined in as the little girl looked around the massive leg trying to see what was happening.
"For all the kids, I want to say that Santa sent me a letter saying he'd be stopping by White Castle early this year. So you all have to make sure to get to sleep otherwise he might not come!" Weiss laughed as the little girl ran back into the crowd, her shrill voice yelling for her mommy to take her to bed. The crowd laughed as all the kids sprung into action, dragging their parents towards the door.
"Merry Christmas, everyone!" Weiss called above the complaining kids, waving to them as they pulled their parents to the doors. Pyrrha got up on stage and started to sing a song as they left and a few people pulled out scrolls to check on their bonus.
Weiss sat down beside Ruby and waved at a young bartender that she couldn't remember the name of. He came over and looked down at the two girls before him.
"What can I get you?" He asked as he opened the drawer in front of him.
"Would two Angel's Delights be too much trouble?" Weiss asked, not wanting to force him into making the drinks unless he wanted to.
"Not at all!" He said eagerly, pulling the ingredients and a clean shaker out and setting to work. "Just don't blame me if they're not perfect 'cause I'm still in training!" He laughed at his own comment as he poured the two drinks and handed them to Weiss and Ruby.
Ruby looked at the drink apprehensively for a second as Weiss took a small sip.
"This is great, thanks." Weiss said with a smile before he left as another man at the other end of the bar waved him down. She watched Ruby eyeing her drink and felt that she may have crossed a line in assuming she wanted something alcoholic. "You don't have to drink it if you don't want to."
Ruby shook her head quickly and downed the small martini glass in one large gulp. She gasped as the alcohol stung her throat for a second before disappearing. Weiss watched her intently, wondering what Ruby was thinking about.
Ruby looked over at Weiss, a blush on her face that was mostly induced from the strong alcohol. "Come on, finish up. Yang's gonna kick this thing into high gear any second now."
Weiss sipped the drink, wondering what she meant by that when she noticed Yang onstage pointing around as Pyrrha finished the carol. All the guys started to plug their instruments in and pops of static were heard just as Pyrrha started to leave the stage. Yang caught up to her as they exited the stage and the guy with the guitar started playing slowly as the guy on keyboard added the sounds of violin and flute to the mix. The base player and drums joined in suddenly as the keyboard and guitar player suddenly changed rhythm. Weiss felt a chill run down her spine at the dark yet beautiful music that fell heavy on her ears as it blasted from the speakers around the room. Suddenly everything was quiet except the small tinkling of the piano. Ruby grabbed her hand and led her into the middle of the dance floor just as the music picked up and the lights dimmed. Spots of a disco ball flickered around the mass of bodies on the dance floor as the guitar player started a solo and the drummer doubled his pace. Weiss finally realized that the song was based on the Carol of the Bell's she'd sung earlier, smiling at her ability to recognize the amazingly different adaptation.
No sooner had she identified the song than Yang's voice rang out over the crowd. In response, the crowd around them all roared a response that was impossible to distinguish and this time Weiss heard Yang's words.
"Let's kick it up then! Chase, kick it off!" As the heads of the crowd moved around in front of Weiss, she saw Yang walking backwards off the stage as the guitar player started a whiny solo that slowly turned into a song as the other musicians joined in.
She didn't know exactly when, but somewhere part way into that second song, Weiss found herself dancing next to Ruby, the lively tune moving her in a way that she normally would have thought of as ridiculous. Everyone around her seemed to no longer care that she was there and Ruby kept her hand held tight for fear of losing each other in the rave as the lights flashed around and the music blared from all sides and before long, Weiss felt herself get light headed.
Ruby almost dragged her out of the crowd as she swayed on her feet from the dizzy spell. She asked the new bartender, an older man that might have been close to sixty for a couple glasses of water before forcing Weiss onto a stool.
Weiss tried and failed to undo her jacket buttons as she couldn't get the button back through the hole. She cursed under her breath at the fact that her jacket was made of material that shrunk almost two sizes when it got wet and she'd been sweating quite a bit in the middle of that crowd.
Again, Ruby came to the rescue popping the buttons out of the holes and Weiss threw her jacket onto the counter beside her. The music was far too loud to communicate with her team leader and Weiss picked up her arms so she stood like a scarecrow. She put a hand over Ruby's eyes, forcing them closed and lifting her chin so she would have been looking straight. Weiss found the small string on the sleeve of Ruby's dress and gave it a yank.
Ruby gasped as her dress flashed red and orange for a few seconds as the excess material burned off. Weiss knew Ruby had been safe from the dust lining the outfit, but the bartender was already holding a fire extinguisher.
Ruby looked down at her transformed outfit before smiling and jumping Weiss for a kiss. Weiss pushed Ruby off her, rather reluctantly as they started to draw a lot of attention. Weiss passed Ruby her water and gulped her own down. She ordered tow drinks from the bartender before stumbling slightly back to the dance floor as they avoided people going in every direction.
They were both wearing opposite colors as they moved back into the mass of dancers. Weiss in her usual white, while Ruby had an almost identical outfit in black. The ash from the destroyed dress stained Ruby's dress with streaks of white that rubbed off as she danced right up against Weiss, leaving her outfit with streaks of black. Neither of them saw any of their group around in what must have been at least five hundred people all dancing their hearts out.
Eventually, Ruby and Weiss were pushed close enough to see Yang on stage next to the guy on the keyboard behind another table as she scratched disks that echoed through the speakers like a professional. The guy on the keyboard kept pointing back and forth between his keyboard and a control board on the side of the table as Yang gave him a thumbs up. Soon after, the guy left grabbing the hand of a girl waiting for him off stage.
Yang was doing an awesome job and gave a thumbs up when she spotted Weiss and Ruby. Then she donned her aviators to block out some of the spotlight that was aimed at the stage. Weiss noticed Blake sitting almost directly behind Yang reading a book in the very edge of the spotlight.
Yang's voice suddenly rang out through the speakers. "For all of you who are dancing with that special someone, we're going to slow things down a bit with a classic." The music suddenly changed to an almost church-like Christmas ballad as she spoke. "But don't worry, we'll take the floor back after we get a drink or two!"
The crowd roared in approval as more than half of them moved to the bar. Ruby and Weiss found themselves slow-dancing with a simple two step as Yang approached, followed by Blake. "Hey! Have any of you seen JNPR?" Yang yelled over the piano chords blasting from the nearby speaker.
"No! Haven't seen anybody!" Ruby yelled in response. Blake was looking around in the darkness, her faunus eyes giving her a better chance at finding the missing team than anyone else.
"I think I saw them over there earlier!" Weiss supplied, pointing to where she'd seen them earlier before her announcement.
Yang gave a thumbs up before grabbing Blake by the hand and leading her in the opposite direction.
Ruby simply shrugged at Weiss's look of confusion before pulling her closer to enjoy the dance. Weiss held Ruby and felt the minor effects of the earlier drinks finally start to kick in. She figured Ruby was probably starting to feel the effects of the strong drinks in her system and decided they could just keep dancing for a while.
As it turns out, a while turned into most of the night as Yang gave up her job as DJ and another older guy took up the position. Yang jumped off of something to Weiss's dismay, but it was only the stage and the crowd seemed more than willing to let her crowd surf, so everything turned out fine. Shortly after that, Blake and a pretty drunk Yang had left back to the tower claiming they needed rest.
Ren and Nora were already back at the tower according to Pyrrha who seemed to be just drunk enough to remove her nervousness around Jaune, evidenced by her blunt flirting that even Jaune wasn't thick enough to overlook. Jaune mentioned that they'll probably stay for a while longer before heading back.
Ruby and Weiss found themselves leaving amidst a crowd of people who were either very drunk, very tired, or in dire need of a room by the way they kissed their counterparts at every chance. Weiss felt lucky that she'd already organized security to drive everyone back to their rooms to avoid the stupidity that only alcohol could bring out in people.
Once back in the familiar tower, Ruby blasted away from Weiss, leaving a trail of rose petals on the floor, leading directly to their room. Weiss followed them, wondering what Ruby was doing just leaving her two floors below like that. Her question was partially answered by the do not disturb sign on their door as she approached.
Hesitating only a second and getting herself mentally prepared for whatever might happen on the other side, she turned the handle and stepped inside the dark room, shutting the door tightly behind her.

The room was darker than Weiss had ever seen it. She realized why quite quickly as she wasn't able to see out the window meaning the shades had been drawn. As her eyes slowly adjusted, she saw a faint glow come from around the window that was just barely enough to identify the silhouette that stood before the window, but not enough to tell if she was facing the door or not.
"I had fun at the party tonight, Weiss." Ruby said in a whisper as if she didn't want to break the spell of silence that the dark room possessed. The shadow of Ruby didn't move a single muscle as Weiss slowly approached.
"I had fun too." Weiss said, scared of what they both obviously felt was coming tonight. "I'm so happy that we were able to have fun together without worrying about anything."
"Me too." Ruby breathed in reply. Her breathing was already ragged and she seemed to be unable to move from her spot. Weiss knew the feeling was probably the same one going through her, but for some reason she was still able to move towards her girlfriend, albeit slowly.
Several moments passed and Weiss found herself face to face with Ruby, neither speaking, neither moving, lest they break the spell that seemed to come over them both. Finally, Ruby broke the silence with a slight cough as she tried to speak.
"I know what you want tonight, but I'm a little scared." She admitted, not taking her eyes off Weiss who was so close that even in the pitch dark she could make out the shape of her lips, nose and eyes.
"I don't want to push you into anything. If you want to wait, it's fine with me." Weiss blurted suddenly, her words feeling far too loud in the close proximity. "I mean, I'm a little scared too."
Ruby seemed to take this into consideration and the two kept their positions just close enough to be intimate without touching. After what felt like forever, Ruby came to a decision. Weiss was nervous as she felt Ruby's lips meet hers more gently than ever before. Wondering if she was misreading the signals for the billionth time, Weiss broke the gentle kiss that was melting her from the inside out.
Ruby seemed to have other ideas as she came back less gentle than before, this time tugging at Weiss's lips with hers. Weiss felt her self lose control of her legs and the next moment she was laying on her back on the lone bed, Ruby's arms on either side of her shoulders as they continued the chaste kissing.
Weiss felt herself moan as Ruby pulled away and this time it was her head that followed Ruby's, her kiss quickly turning to a duel between their tongues. Weiss felt like she was on fire and that if she wasn't careful, she might just burst into flames below the intoxicating girl above her.
Ruby moaned into the room as she lowered herself closer to Weiss, craving the warmth of the other person. She gasped as she unintentionally brushed her crotch against Weiss's leg and broke the kiss.

Weiss's brain felt like it was taking forever to process anything and when she finally did, her response was the only thing that she could honestly say she'd known for a while. No, if I'm honest with myself, I knew the second she started trying to impress me and I actually paid her any attention.
"I love you too Ruby, and I've wanted to tell you for a long time." Weiss responded in a rush before kissing Ruby again.
The two kissed, constantly changing positions as they tried to get more and more of each other like they were starving and the only food in the world was in the others mouth. Weiss felt the sweat on Ruby's skin and knew she was also burning up underneath the skimpy outfit that at the moment felt like a thick fur coat.
"Clothes." Weiss breathed in between kisses and Ruby started pulling Weiss's shirt up. They broke the kiss just long enough for Ruby to pull it over her girlfriend's face and toss it to the side before they sealed their faces together again.
Ruby's shirt went next and Weiss mirrored Ruby's movements as best she could as the younger girls hands ran up and down her exposed back. Ruby moaned into Weiss's mouth as Weiss's hand cupped one of the girl's breasts, the bra she'd bought still in the way of what her animal instinct told her she wanted.

"Hmmm too." Ruby mumbled from the pillow beside Weiss. Weiss felt herself drift off to sleep as a smile spread across her face.
