EPISODE 21: SIERRA'S PLACE.
-AT THE DARK NEBULA'S BASE-
Lady Shadow and Ansem walked into the dark room where Doji and the unseen figure known as Dark Phantom were. "We have returned." Said Ansem and Lady Shadow.
"I can see that. And may i ask from where?" Doji said.
"From the Metal Bey City desert, sir." Answered Ansem.
"The Metal Bey City desert? What were the two of you doing there?" Doji asked.
"We were sent there, sir. Dark Phantom sent us there on an asignment." Lady Shadow answered.
Doji then looked at Dark Phantom. "Oh did you now?"
"Yes. They were out on a mission i sent them on. Did the two of you succed in your mission?" Dark Phantom said while holding a glass of red apple juice in a wine glass. He was also sitting at his desk.
"See for yourself." Ansem said. "Step forward." The sound of foot steps could be heard in the dark background of the dark room. Out of the darkness stepped Riku, and he stood in the middle of Lady Shadow and Ansem. But something was different about him. His skin was pale white as a sheet of papper, his once blue eyes were now black and souless, and he looked evil, creepy, and intimmidating.
"Excellent work, my friends. Congradulations on a job well done." Dark Phantom said before taking a sip of his red apple juice.
"One of Gingka's friends? What use is he to us?" Doji asked Dark Phantom.
"I can asure you, Doji, Riku will have a great role to play in the near future. In the mean time, though, he'll serve as one of our spys." Dark Phantom said.
"A spy?" Doji questioned.
"Yes. We'll use him to spy on Gingka and his friends."Dark Phantom said.
"Nothing intresting has been happening with Gingka and his friends since they broke into our old base." Doji said.
"Well i have inside information that will change all of that." Dark Phantom said.
"Like what?" Doji asked.
"Like the fact that one of the planetary bladers has awoken and is in Metal Bey City right now with Gingka and his friends." Dark Phantom said.
"What? Which one?" Doji asked.
"The Venus blader, sir. I was there when it all happened." Lady Shadow said.
"Really? Is that so? And just how many planetary bladers are there?" Doji asked.
"There are nine planetary bladers as there are nine planets in the solar system. But only five will be needed to accomplish our goal." Dark Phantom said.
"Yes. Yes. Yes. The planetary bladers. That's it. If we harness the power in their beys, it'll give L-Drago all the energy he needs to completely awaken his true power. So...one of the five planetary bladers has awakened. Which leaves us with only four left to find. Ansem. Send Riku back to Metal Bey City to spy spy on this Venus blader, would you?" Doji said.
"Yes, sir." Ansem said. He then turned to Riku. "Riku, go and spy on the Venus blader. See if you can find out everything there is to know about this blader. And act like you're still on Gingka's side. I dont want anyone to know that you're now working for the Dark Nebula until the time is right."
"As you wish...master." Riku said.
-AT THE B-PIT-
Madoka was standing in the front room of the B-PIT, waiting for Minette to come by and pick up her newly evolved bey, Venus Leone, which was resting on the counter.
"Later, Madoka." Gingka said as he came into the front room.
"Oh, hittin the bey stadium again, Gingka?" Madoka said.
"I'm battling Minette. I cant wait to wip her bey." Gingka said before he and Madoka laughed.
"Dont underestimate her. She's a lot tuffer then she looks." Madoka said.
"I know. That's what makes it so much fun. Later." Gingka said before leaving.
"Have fun." Madoka said.
Rosaline opened one of the glass doors and walked in with her hands arms full of bags of groceries.
"Ooh, here, give me one of those." Madoka said. She then ran up to Rosaline and took one of the bags.
"One?" Rosaline questioned.
Madoka then took another bag from Rosaline. Madoka then closed the glass door with her foot just as Daniel came to the door with both his hands and arms full of grocery bags. He then re-opened the door and walked inside the B-PIT. Daniel placed the bags on the counter with the rest of the bags that Madoka and Rosaline had. "Whew! These grocery bags are heavy. Thank goodness i'm in such good shape." Daniel said.
Rosaline then showed Daniel the recite. "Look at this. Eight bags of groceries, $180." She said.
"Yeah. And can you believe the fuss they made when i paid with a check?" Daniel said now holding the recite.
"Well Daniel you told them not to cash it util November." Rosaline said.
"Thanks so much for bringing me all these groceries, you guys. I really appreciate it." Madoka said.
"Well you're just welcome." Rosaline said.
"Glad we could help." Daniel said.
"Guess what? I got a job." Sierra said as she ran inside the B-PIT.
"What?" Rosaline and Daniel said.
"I'm gonna be a part-time waitress at a burger restaurant. I get minimum wage plus tips. We're talking new cloths, we're talking concert tickets." Said Sierra. "I want money. Lots and lots of money. I want a pie in the sky." She sang and danced.
"Whoa!" Daniel said.
"I wanna be rich." Sierra sang and danced.
"Whoa!" Daniel repeated. Sierra continued dancing. "Whoa!" He said as he grabbed ahold of her.
"What is it?" Sierra asked.
"You are only 13 years old. You're too young to have a job." Daniel said.
"No i'm not." Sierra said.
"You're a blader, and you traval from place to place." Rosaline said.
"Aunt Rose, listen, just let me work at this restaurant for one month. If my blader grades slip, or if i dont pull my weight in bey tournaments, i'll quit. Deal?" Sierra said.
"One month." Rosaline said.
"Yes! Oh, aunt Rose, will you sign my work permit?" Sierra said.
"Why do you need a work permit?" Rosaline asked.
"I'm too young to have a job." Sierra said.
"Sierra, are there any more openings at this restaurant?" Rosaline asked.
"Nope, i got the last one." Minette said as she entered the B-PIT.
"You? You're working at the burger restaurant?" Sierra questioned.
"Well yeah. You cant stay in a hotel for free, you know." Minette said. "Madoka, is my bey ready?"
"Yep." Madoka said. She then held up Venus Leone in her hand. It was all sparkely and shinny. "Here ya go.
"Thanks." Minette said before taking Venus Leone from Madoka's hand. "Did you find out everything there is to know about Venus Leone?"
"Sure. I'll tell ya on the way over to the bey town stadium though. Gingka's waiting for you." Madoka said.
"I'm ready when you are." Minette said.
-AT THE TOWN BEY STADIUM-
Madoka, Sierra, and Minette soon arived at the stadium and saw Gingka. Kenta, Benkei, Killua, Leo, Amber, Kyoya and Riku. Riku was back to normal. His skin color was no longer pale white like a sheet of paper, his black souless eyes were blue again, and he no longer looked creepy, intimmidating, or evil. Minette made her way to the stadium. This time, Gingka started the count down.
"3!"
"2!"
"1!"
"Let it Rip!" They both launched their beys. Venus Leone did the same thing it did at the beginning of it's battle with Kyoya when it was Heart Leone. Pegasus didn't attack head on; it just circled around the stadium.
"Now i cant attack her head on, and i have to stop her before she uses her new special move. I guess i'll take the offensive side. Go Pegasus!" Gingka said. Pegasus launched itself out of the stadium. "SPECIAL MOVE! PEGASUS, STAR BLAST ATTACK!" Pegasus came down and hit Venus Leone directly on the top. It's spinning was knocked off balance slightly, so it looked like it had been spinning for a long time. "Yeah!"
Minette smirked. "You aren't going to win, Gingka. I must admit, that gave it some damage. I guess i'll end this now. VENUS PLANET ATTACK!" Pegasus stopped moving, and Venus Leone came in and launched it out of the stadium with ease. It went back to the palm of Minette's hand. "You guys are too easy to beat. I need to find a stronger opponent." Minette started walking away again.
Gingka had a look on his face, and then spoke. "You're good. You are really good. Let's battle again sometime."
Minette gave him a look. "Why would i do that? I beat you easily. Even easier then Kyoya, and you beat him."
"Because it doesn't matter how easily you beat them. Did you have fun?" Gingka asked.
"Well, yeah, i guess it was. I haven't found an opponent i needed to beat at the start. And your special move is the first one to actually do some damage to Heart-i mean, Venus Leone." Minette said.
"Well why dont we battle again sometime? You're really good. I think i found a new rival." Gingka said.
Kyoya seemed a bit taken back at this. "Hey, i'm your number one rival! Dont forget that!"
Madoka's laptop then pinged. "I just got an email. Hold on." She opened it up. It was from the WBBA.
"They're holding a bey tournament, "The Survival Battle." Whoever wins can have any wish granted." Killua said as he and Madoka looked at the screen of the laptop.
Minette's eyes lit up. She thought about having parts custom made to be the exact same one's that Cody had in his bey. "How long until it starts?"
"It's in a month and two weeks." Sierra said.
"Awesome! I'm signing up for it! I'll have all of the parts replaced so Cody can beyblade again. Wait, Cody! I forgot to call him!" Minette said. She ran out of the stadium so she could get to somewhere private to talk to him.
"Wait, Minette, where are you going?" Amber called out.
"None of your business!" Minette said. She ran off to where she could talk to Cody without that group annoying her. She called Cody after a few minutes.
"Hey, Minette." Said Cody.
"Hi, Cody. I beat Kyoya, and with such ease. But Gingka on the other hand, i beat him, but he has a powerful special move. It messed up Venus Leone's balance a lot." Minette said.
"Venus Leone? I thought the name of your bey was Heart Leone." Cody said.
"Oh, yeah, bey evolved." Minette said.
"Shut up! What?! Really? This is the first i've heard of this." Minette said.
"Yeah, it kind of slipped my mind." Minette said.
"When are you coming back to America?" Cody asked.
"I dont know. It might not be soo, because of something important." Minette said.
"What is it?" Cody asked.
"I cant tell you, Cody. It's a suprise." Minette said.
"Okay." Said Cody.
Minette saw that it was almost twilight. "Listen. I need to get going. It's getting dark out here. I'll call you tomorrow. Okay then?"
"Yeah." Cody said.
"Bye, Cody." Minette said.
"Bye, Minette." Cody hung up. Minette sighed.
-AT THE BULL BURGERS RESTAURANT-
Riku and Amber were sitting at a table. He took a bite of his burger and got some mustard on his nose. "Hey, Amber. Who do you think is better looking? Me or Kyoya?"
"Well right now, Riku, i think i'd have to say Kyoya." Amber said.
"Why?" Riku asked.
"'Cause you dont look real hot with mustard on your nose." Amber said.
Riku then picked up a napkin and wiped the mustard off his nose.
Sierra then came out of the back cordoor and walked up to the boss. "Sierra, give table 6 their check."
"But they're not done eating." Sierra said.
"Ha! If i waited for people to finish eating my food, i'd never make a dime." The boss said.
Sierra then went to give table six their check. Rosaline, Daniel, Gingka, Kenta, Madoka, Benkei, and Killua came in through the enterance.
"Where is she? Psst!" Daniel said. Sierra looked and saw her aunt uncle and friends. "Hey, hey, she looks like a great waitress. I hope we get her." The whole gang walked up to Sierra.
"What are you guys doing here?" Sierra asked.
"Well we wanted to give you our support." Rosaline said.
"And throw you a little business." Gingka added.
"And after that, we'll rock till we drop." Benkei added.
Sierra then led the gang to their table.
"Waitress, we need menus." Madoka said.
"Sorry, this is not my station. Minette, table 10." Sierra said.
Minette then came out of the cordoor carrying plates of food on her arms and in her hands. She was also carrying a plate of fries in her mouth. "Hi." She said, causing the plate of fries she was carrying in her mouth to fall to the floor. "Ooh! Oh. I'll be with you as soon as i can, okay?" She then walked over to a table and served the two customers their plates of food. "Here's your food. We're out of fries right now, but i'll try and scrape some up." Minette then walked over to where Gingka and the others were. "Hi, everybody. Welcome to Bull Burgers." She said. "Menu, menu, menu, menu, menu, menu, menu." Minette said as she circled around the table, handing the gang their menus.
"Uh, just bring us burgers and fries." Daniel said.
"Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you." Minette said as she circled around the gang's table again, taking their menus. "Okey-dokey. Would you guys like those burgers with cheese?"
"Please." Said everyone at the table.
"Oh, you guys." Minette said.
"Ha-ha-ha." Kenta laughed.
"Burgers and fries? Now you're talkin. I like you alrady." Benkei said to Daniel.
Minette began to walk away from the table, but she walked in front of a waiter, who was carrying plates of food.
"Minette." Madoka said.
Minette moved aside and let the waiter pass her. She then saw Sierra wiping one of the tables with a rag. "Ooh! Allow me, Sierra."
"No, i can handle it." Sierra said.
"Oh no, i can do it. Here." Minette attempted to take the plate from Sierra, but she wouldn't let go of it. "Oh. No." After a minuet of tug of war with the plate, Sierra let go of it, causing Minette to drop it. The plate now lied shattered on the floor. Sierra got down on her knees to pick up the two broken dishes, while Minette got a broom and attempted to sweep up the shattered remains. "Here, let me."
"I've got it." Sierra asured.
"Oh, no, i insist." Minette said. She then started sweeping up the shattered dishes with the broom. A waiter walked by carrying a tray of food and drinks. He then tripped over the red handle of the broom that Minette was using, causing him to spill the tray of food and drinks on Amber and Riku. "Did i do that?" Minette ask, smiling nervously.
-LATER THAT NIGHT AT THE BULL BUGERS RESTAURANT-
Sierra was now using the broom, that Minette had used earlier, the sweep up the floor.
"Okay, you two, payday." The boss said as he came out of the cordoor.
"Yes." Sierra said. The boss then handed Sierra her paycheck.
"You're doing a good job, Sierra, keep it up." Said the boss.
"Thanks, sir." Sierra said.
The boss then handed Minette her paycheck, who was standing behind the counter. She opened the pink peace of paper to see how much money she had maid. "A bill?"
"That's what you owe me for broken dishes." The boss said.
"Well, perhaps if you popped for better china..." Minette said.
"I should fire you, miss Smith. But i'm in a good mood. So i'm gonna cut you some slack." The boss said.
"Thank you. I love slack." Minette said.
"I'm going to the bank and make a deposit." The boss said as he turned to leave the building.
"Take your time. Why dont you stop off and treat yourself to a decent meal for a change?" Minette said. The boss then left the building. Minette hopped up on the counter and accidently knocked the glass cups and mustard bottles on the floor. Minette stepped on the floor. "You know, the life of a restaurateur appeals to this particular joe. I've mastered waitering, i'm a crackerjack cashier. And a pretty good hostess. Yep. I think it's time i became a chef." She said before putting on an apperin. She then began to walk over to the cordoor.
"Minette, where are you going?" Sierra asked.
"To turn on the grill. I'm gonna fry us up some steam-o Supremos." Minette said.
"Minette, i dont think you should do any cooking." Sierra said.
"Dont worry, Sierra. What could go wrong?" Minette asked.
-LATER-
Firemen and firetrucks were now surrounding the Bull Burgers restaurant, which was now ingulfed in flames of fire. Many people stood outside the burning restaurant. They were behind a long peace of yellow tape. A fireman was aiding Sierra, who was sitting on the side-walk covered in soot. Sierra gazed at the flames that had enveloped the restaurant, then she closed her eyes tight out of fear. Another fireman was aiding an unconcious Minette, who was also covered in soot and had an oxygen mask placed on her face. She then regained conciousness and sat up only to see the Bull Bugers restaurant in flames. "Did i do that?!" Minette gasped. Everyone nodded at Minette and they continued to watch the restaurant burn.
Rosaline sees the crowed of people moving on the streets pretty fast. "What's happening?" She asked a man.
"Bull Burgers is on fire." The man said before he walked off.
Rosaline stood there for a moment. "Sierra." Rosaline ran through the crowd. "Sierra!" Sierra and Minette could see her aunt Rosaline coming after her. "Oh, my baby. Are you okay?" She asked as she hugged Sierra.
"I'm fine, aunt Rose." Sierra said.
A car then pulled up on the scene and stopped. Daniel stepped out of the car and gazed at the firey restaurant where his neice worked. He feared the worst. "Sierra? What happened?"
"Uncle Dan." Sierra said.
"Sierra." Daniel said. He then ran up to his neice and hugged her. "Oh, sweetheart, i was so worried about you. Are you alright?"
"I'm fine, uncle Dan." Sierra asured.
"Oh, sweetheart." Daniel said as he hugged Sierra again. Rosaline got in on the huging.
"Hey, there they are!" Came a voice. Sierra, Minette, Rosaline, and Daniel looked and saw Gingka, Kenta, Benkei, Madoka, Kyoya, Leo, Killua, Amber and Riku all running up to them.
"Sierra! Minette!" Gingka said.
"It's Gingka and the others." Minette said. The gang ran up to Sierra.
"Sierra. Minette." Gingka said.
"Are you guys okay?" Kyoya asked.
"We're fine." Sierra said.
"Like you care." Minette said.
"Of course i care. Why else would i be here? I'm not that selfish, ya know." Kyoya said.
"That's right! My brother cares about what happens to his friends just as much as the next guy." Leo added.
"Oh i am so sure." Minette said sarcasticly as she roled her blue eyes.
"Would you three stop it? This isnt the time nor the place." Killua said.
"Sorry." Leo and Minette said in unison. Kyoya, however, didn't say anything.
"Oh heaven! Oh heavens!" Benkei said in a soft shocked voice. "My favorit restaurant has gone up in smoke! I cant believe this!" He then looked up at the starry night sky. "WHAT DID I DO TO DESERVE THIS?! WHAT DID I EVER DO?! BULL! BULL!"
Everyone looked at the Bull Burgers restaurant and watched it burn up.
-LATER INSIDE THE BULL BURGERS RESTAURANT-
The restaurant was now burned to a complete crisp, both inside and out. Gingka and the others walked inside the building and were shocked to see the inside of the restaurant and the horrible condition it was now in. "Ooh!" They all said. They then walked over to the counter and Sierra opened the cash register. The inside of the cash register had a small flame of fire in it. A fireman behind the burnt counter used a fire exstinguisher to put out the small flame. A fireman then approached the gang.
"I've been looking for you two. Now just how did this fire start?" The fireman asked.
"It was an accident, your honor." Minette said.
"I'm not the judge, i'm the fire inspector." The man said.
"I know, i was just practicing." Minette said.
"Here's what happened. Some grease flared up on the grill. Still, we could have handled it. But then she threw water on it." Sierra explained.
"Oh, no, no, no. You never, ever, ever, throw water on a grease fire." The fire inspector said.
"Thanks, i'll know for the next time." Minette said.
The boss then came walking inside the building all shocked and whimpering.
"Mr. Fred." Benkei said. "How are you holding up?"
"I've had better days." The boss known as Fred said. He then looked at Minette. "YOU!" He pointed at Minette. He then attempted to lunge at her, but Benkei and Kenta stopped him by grabbing ahold of him.
"No, no, no! Calm down, Mr. Fred! Take it easy!" Benkei said. He and Kenta then let go of Fred.
"Benkei's right. You can just rebuild the place and it'll be better then ever." Kenta added.
"No way. No way. I'm too old to start over. I'm gonna retire to America and get me a nice little farm house." Fred said.
"You dont mean that, Mr. Fred." Amber said.
"Yeah, i'm taking my insurance money. Maybe even my wife. I have flipped my last bull buger. From now on, the only bulls i wanna see will be on the farm." Fred said.
"Boy, did he ever get up on the wrong side of the bed this morning." Riku said. Everyone just looked at Riku.
-A FEW DAYS LATER-
-AT THE CRYSTALS RESEDENCE-
Gingka and the others were now all present in the livingroom of a house that Rosaline and Daniel had rented to stay in. Gingka was putting a nametag on Daniel's shirt. "Okay, does everybody have their nametags?" He asked.
"Gingka, Daniel and i know each other." Rosaline said.
"Just going by the book." Gingka said.
"Okay, welcome, everybody. This is a completely informal Meeting, so feel free to ask any questions at anytime." Madoka said. Benkei then raised his hand. "Yes, Benkei?"
"Why are we here?" Benkei asked.
"Good question, Benkei." Madoka said.
Sierra: "And i'll answer it. Ahem. You see, um...When Minette burnt down Bull Burgers..."
"Again, my bad. Sorry." Minette said.
"Anyways...when Minette burnt down Bull Burgers, it caused a lot of problems. Uh, the neighborhood kids lost their hangout...Minette and i lost our jobs...and poor Mr. Fred lost his mind. And at the same time, i was looking for an even greater job and getting absolutely nowhere." Sierra said.
"So that's when i dug down into the old gray matter. And yanked out an idea that reaked of sheer genius." Gingka said.
"Yeah. You see, Gingka suggested that i buy Bull Burgers, rebuild it and run it as my own business." Sierra added.
"Whoa!" Daniel said.
"It's a dream come true." Sierra said.
"But, Sierra, where are you gonna get money to buy a restaurant?" Rosaline asked.
"Well, from the bank and my brand-new partners." Sierra said.
"I think she means us...Daniel." Rosaline said.
"See, the bank will finance us if we can come up with a 20 percent down payment. Now i can kick in the insurence money that my parents left me. So all i need from you two is a check in the amount of..." Sierra handed Daniel a yellow peace of paper and he unfolded it.
"Whoa!" Daniel said.
"I know i can make it work. I really believe that with all my heart." Sierra said.
"(Sighs) Well, Sierra, we have plenty of confedence in you...but aren't restaurants a risky investment?" Daniel said.
"Gingka. Madoka." Sierra said.
"Good question. I think the following visual aid will clear up any and all doubts you have. Gingka." Madoka said.
"Right." Gingka said. He then put his right hand to his mouth and pretended to blow a horn.
"OH, WILL YOU JUST PULL OFF THE SHEET?!" Daniel yelled in frustration.
"I give you...Sierra's Place." Gingka said before Madoka pulled off the sheet, revealing the new restaurant, intitled "Sierra's Place." It looked like a 1950's diner. "Thanks, Madoka."
"Daniel, it's beautiful." Rosaline said.
"Now, i've sought the advice of the director of the WBBA. And according to him, Sierra's Place should inevitably turn a profit in less than one year." Madoka said.
"Well how does he know that?" Kenta asked.
"Oh, it's an inverse curve. Rising neighborhood population growth, versus declining franchises that serve meat." Madoka said.
"Oh." Said everyone else.
"Well, look, we'll leave you two alone to discuss the proposition. And if you decide to invest, great. And if you decide not to, believe me, it's okay, i understand. Come on, everyone." Sierra said. She, Gingka, Madoka, Kenta, Benkei, Kyoya, Leo, Killua, Amber, Riku and Minette all left the livingroom.
"Well, honey, what do you think?" Daniel asked.
"It's an intresting proposal, and i believe Sierra could handle it." Rosaline said.
"Yeah, but i feel uncomfortable about asking you to put up so much to help our niece. You worked hard for that money." Rosaline said.
"No, no, no. Now we worked hard for that money. Sweetheart, Sierra is family. Not just your family, but our family." Daniel said.
"But like you said, Daniel, a restaurant is a risky business." Rosaline said.
"Yeah, it's a gamble. But i say our odds are a lot better if we bet on somebody we love." Daniel said.
"So you wanna do it?" Rosaline asked.
"Absolutely." Daniel said.
"Oh, Daniel." Rosaline said as she hugged her husband.
"But we've gotta keep this a secret from Sierra. I want it to be a suprise." Daniel said.
"Okay, Daniel." Rosaline said.
Sierra then came running back into the livingroom. "Did i keep you waiting?"
"Sierra, uh...we talked it over and we decided we wanna help." Daniel said.
"Ah! Oh, yes. Oh, thank you so much." Sierra said as she hugged Rosaline and then Daniel.
"But, but, but...we're a few thousand short of what you need." Daniel said.
Sierra's smile slowly turned into a frown. "Oh."
"I'm so sorry, Sierra." Rosaline said.
"Oh, look, guys, dont worry about it. It just wasn't ment to be." Sierra said. She then walked up stairs to her room.
"Shall we?" Rosaline asked.
"We shall." Daniel said.
As the days went by, the construction workers worked on rebulding the Bull Burgers restaurant. In less then a month, the restaurant was rebuilt. But it wasn't the Bull Burgers restaurant. It was "Sierra's Place."
-INSIDE SIERRA'S PLACE-
The inside of the building looked like a diner from the 1950's. The words "Sierra's Place" were writen on the wall in glitter cursiv red. The words were also an electric light. There was also a sign on the wall that read "Grand Opening." Sierra was standing in the middle of the group with a blue blindfold over her eyes. She wore a short blue glitter dress that exposed her shoulders, glitter blue lipstick, a blue pollyeaster scarf around her neck, a blue headband and blue high-heel shoes. Rosaline, Daniel, Gingka, Madoka, Kenta, Leo, Killua, Amber, Riku, Minette, Takashi, Osamu, Akira, Kyoya and Benkei were all there.
"Are you ready?" Rosaline asked.
"Aunt Rosie, what is it?" Sierra asked.
"Tada." Daniel said as he took the blindfold off, allowing Sierra to see.
"SUPRISE!" Everyone shouted.
"Wha...what's this?" Sierra asked.
"It's Sierra's Place. Your very own restaurant." Leo said.
"But...but how is this possible?" Sierra asked. She then looked at Rosaline and Daniel. "You guys said you didn't have the money to start Sierra's Place."
"We might have said that." Rosaline began.
"But we say a lot of things." Daniel finished.
Sierra then turned to her friends. "Wow! This is so cool! I have my very own restaurant! And at 13! Can you believe it?!"
"Yep. We sure can." Kenta said.
"We got you good, Sierra." Gingka added.
"We? Wait, you two knew about this?" Sierra asked.
"Of course. We all did." Benkei said.
"But how?" Sierra asked.
"Your aunt and uncle filled us in on everything and told us to keep it a secret. They wanted to suprise you." Riku said.
"You guys! You shouldn't have! Oh i'm so happy! I dont know what to say!" Sierra said.
"Well how 'bout we start with the word "Thank you?" Killua said.
"Thank you! Thank you all for doing this for me!" Sierra said.
"Ah, it was nothin. We're glad to do it? Right, Gingka?" Madoka said.
"Yeah, totally." Gingka said.
"No strings attached." Amber added. She wore a violet red mini dress, violet glitter red lipstick, and violet glitter red eye shadow, and violet red high-heel shoes, and a violet red headband in her hair with a violet red flower attached to it.
Minette went over to the counter and got a blue green mixed trey with different colored drinks in several wine glasses. She wore a white long sleeve shirt with the words "Sierra's Place" writen on the upper back part of the shirt, black skin tight shorts that went up to her knees and red socks and black shoes. She took the trey of drinks over to the group and each of them took one. Even Minette help herself to one of the drinks. She then sat the trey down on one of the tables.
"In a few moments, we're gonna unlock that door and make history." Daniel said.
"Yes." Rosaline added.
"Not to mention a whole lot of money." Daniel said.
"Yes." Rosaline said.
"Alright." Minette added.
"A toast to Sierra's Place. And it's beautiful owner. My niece...Sierra Crystals." Daniel said.
"Thank you." Sierra said as she clinged her wine glass with her uncle's.
"I'm with that?" Riku said.
"Hear, hear." Amber added.
"Wait, wait, one more." Rosaline said.
"Lets drink to the person who really made this possible. My older sister and brother in law. Sierra's parents." Rosaline said before she and everyone else lifted their glasses to the cealing.
"Hear, hear." Daniel said.
"Hear, hear." Everyone said.
"Now, come on, everybody, lets dace. I cant wait to get down with my bad self." Benkei said.
"Oh brother." Kyoya said.
Sierra then took Minette by the wrist and walked up the two steps with her. "Now before we all throw down...i wanna take the time to thank someone who will always hold a special place in my heart. We wouldn't be here today if she hadn't had the foresight to burn this place down. To Minette Smith."
"Hear, hear." Daniel said.
"All right, Minette." Gingka said.
"Oh thanks, everybody." Minette said as she stepped down from the two steps. "And we'll all have burgers just as soon as i fire up the grill." She then walked through the cordoor.
"Is it cut-? Fire up the grill?!" Sierra said.
"What?! Quick! Stop her!" Gingka said.
Everyone rushed through the cordoor to stop Minette from firing up the grill.
