Time Unknown

As Naegi opens his eyes he wakes up sweating intensively as he looks around of his surroundings noticing he was in a dark room.

"Where am I? Hello?" replies Naegi

Walking around trying to find a light or even a wall he had no such luck until a door opens. The door slightly opens more and more as the light behind it blinds Naegi and he places his hands over his face. Soon he sees a tall mysterious figure and it almost looked like he seen this figure somewhere before but couldn't think of where exactly.

"There isn't much time...listen carefully" replies the deep voice.

"Please tell me what the heck is going on?!" cries Naegi.

"The tragedy is about to start...you got to act fast or there could be great consequence heading your way" he replies wistfully.

"What?! When?!" cries Naegi.

"Naegi-kun you must wake up and stop her...please wake-up and go...Naegi-kun" replies the man disappearing by walking away into the bright light and vanishing from his silhouette figure.

6:52 pm

2 HOURS AND 8 MINUTES UNTIL THE TRAGEDY...

(Nurses Office)

"Neagi-kun" replies a soft elegant voice. Naegi begins to slowly open his eyes as he looks to see Sayaka's face was very close to his. He lightly blushes while they stare at each other for a few moments. Sayaka looked sad until she began to smile and then open her eyes wide backing her face away from his blushing madly.

"A-ah you finally woke up!" cries Sayaka with relief.

"H-how long have been out?" questions Naegi.

"You really had me worried there...I thought you weren't going to wake up!" replies Sayaka beginning to tear up a bit.

"I-It's okay! I'm fine, don't worry!" replies Naegi but then touches his head feeling a bump at the side of the right temple.

"O-o-ooww" cries Naegi. Sayaka makes her way closer to him again and gives him an ice patch that she was holding onto.

"You need to rest a bit longer..." replies Sayaka

"Thanks" replies Naegi kindly.

"Your welcome" replies Sayaka smiling. Naegi understood that he shouldn't be talking to Sayaka alone for too long, even though she is not as perceptive as Kyoko; her intuition is very strong.

"Where is everyone else?" asks Naegi.

"They went to go get some food from the cafeteria and come back here...they should be back soon" replies Sayaka.

"Did you eat?" asks Naegi curiously.

"Ummm...no honestly I didn't feel like it but don't worry about me...I'm just glad you are okay" replies Sayaka.

Naegi also realized how sensitive of a person she was towards little situations such as these and that was one reason Naegi had a crush on her in elementary school. He understood that after seeing him fall unconscious by that mysterious person earlier would cause her to be a bit alarmed but he wants to do everything he can to evade details about what's happening.

"Naegi? Who was that strange boy earlier...his name was Hajime right? How do you know him?" asks Sayaka nervously.

"Well...uh it's kind of complicated to explain" replies Naegi slightly panicking.

'I got to try and change the subject somehow! What should I say...think!' thought Naegi anxiously.

"How so? Is it because he had two different names?" asks Sayaka confirming her suspicions.

'Crap this isn't good! At this rate she going to figure something else out!' thought Naegi begging for mercy.

*Crank*

"Is he awake?" replies Leon making his way into the room with Kyoko tailing behind him.

Leon opens his eyes wide and shouts with relief.

"About time you woke up! You were out for a while man! Who was that bastard earlier!? When I see him again I'm going to swing him down with my bat! That scumbag!" exclaims Leon clenching both of his fists with impetuous rage.

"No need to worry he didn't hurt me that badly...it's just a scratch" replies Naegi laughing lightly.

"Are you kidding me?! It's more than just a scratch you have a minor concussion!" cries Leon flaring his face pitch red.

"We need to find him once your rested" replies Kyoko speaking up.

"Y-yeah we will" replies Naegi.

"Dam right we will because what he did to you was uncalled for man!" cries Leon.

Naegi gets up from his the hospital bed and looks around at everyone.

'It seems like we can't negotiate for them to back off...it would only make them more suspicious that way...' thought Naegi quickly.

"Tomorrow will look for him and I promise you that will be ready to take him down!" cries Naegi determined for victory.

They all nod and Naegi begins to walk heading for the door.

"I'm heading off to go lie down, I'll see you guys tomorrow" replies Naegi.

As Naegi passes Sayaka and Leon, he glances at Kyoko signalling not to follow him due to making the other two suspicious would make them question their relationship at school. Even though the two are not seeing each other in a romantic relationship, Sayaka and Leon in some sense believe that they are and frankly Naegi felt that it was very awkward in his position. Not to mention that the younger version of himself could be thrown with a lot of problems along his way if future Naegi isn't careful.

Naegi opens the door leaving to head to the shed and while he makes his way out of the nursery and reaches to the foyer he sees Chihiro standing there almost as if waiting for someone.

'Huh? What is Chihiro doing in the big foyer in the school standing in the middle there all by himself?' thought Naegi a bit puzzled. Chihiro then notices Naegi and waves at him.

"Hey Naegi!" replies Chihiro. From the look on his face, he seems to look a bit anxious but at the same time on alert about something that appeared to be on his mind.

"Chihiro? What are you doing standing out here?" asks Naegi confused. Naegi then stops when he gets to about 15 feet from him and notices that he was holding something big under his jacket.

"Waiting for you, I have something that is yours" replies Chihiro.

'Wait...this seems very off. How did he know I'd show up here?' thought Naegi becoming cautious of him now. As Chihiro takes out the item, Naegi eyes open wide in terror and snatches the time machine off of Chihiro's hands.

"How did you get this?!" cries Naegi becoming a bit scary. Chihiro flinches a bit and then looks at Naegi with determination and showing no fear.

"I don't have much time...please listen to me carefully Naegi..." replies Chihiro. Naegi then realizes that from the attitude that he was giving he seems to know about more than what he thought he knew.

"The Tragedy at Hope's Peak Academy is happening tonight" replies Chihiro. Naegi opens his eyes wide in fear as he instantly grabbed Chihiro with his one arm and looked at him in distress.

"Tell me what the fuck is going on Chihiro?! Why do you know any of this?! WHY?!" cries Naegi angrily.

"Let go of me...y-your hurting me!" cries Chihiro.

"Not till you tell me why you know about the tragedy and about this device!" replies Naegi.

"LET ME GO! AND SHUT THE FUCK UP!" shouts Chihiro. Naegi stops a bit shocked to hear Chihiro swear and lose his cool, it just didn't seem like him to do that but it must mean he really did something bad to him. Naegi let go of him and just looked at the ground feeling sorry for his actions.

"I understand you are going through a lot of pain being here, however, I want to thank you for coming back to save us Naegi! You are my hero! And I want you to prevent this! No matter what! Please don't give up here!" replies Chihiro happily.

"...Thank-you Chihiro, I don't know what else to say" replies Naegi slightly tearing up and smiling.

"Don't worry your secret is safe with me...now the tragedy is going to happen at 9 pm tonight in the main old building in one of the classrooms...you'll need to hurry if you want to stop her" replies Chihiro.

Without a second moment, Naegi began running for his life and ignoring anything else Chihiro had to say except when he shouts.

"Watch out, Mukuro will be on high alert if you are close by!" cries Chihiro as Naegi leaving the building. He checks his phone for the time and sees that it is 7:16pm and had less than 2 hours before it goes down.

'I can't let Kyoko in on this...I can't have anyone risk their lives that hasn't come from the future...this I'll take of myself' thought Naegi placing his phone back in his pocket running in the rain.

'Just why was it sooner than what I expected! Dam!' thought Naegi angrily.

Hallway 1F East Wing

7:25pm

1 HOUR AND 35 MINUTES UNTIL THE TRAGEDY...

Younger Naegi was walking down the hallway talking with Yashurio as they were going on about what type of video games that they like playing. As they laugh and talk they see Sayaka and Leon walking with Kyoko and Naegi waves to them.

"Hey Sayaka, Leon and K-Kyoko!?" cries Naegi happily but yet surprised to see Kyoko with them.

'Shit...' thought Kyoko.

"Didn't you say you were going to-" Kyoko then places her hand over Sayaka's mouth and gives this weird girn almost as if it were forced.

"watch some anime in your dorm?!" finishes the sentence. The two look at her oddly and were questioning why she was lying for him.

"Uhh wait what? I mean anime is cool but I prefer to play video games, Kyoko you seem to be acting...strange" replies Naegi.

"You leave me no choice!" replies Kyoko flaring her nose.

"I'll tell them your secret" replies Kyoko.

"..." younger Naegi became speechless.

'Wait does she know about that?! But how would she of known about me wetting the bed until 6th grade?!' thought Naegi slightly panicking.

"Your writing hentai with Hifumi for his fanfiction!" shouts Kyoko.

"W-w-w-what!? No, I'm not why would you say that?!" cries Naegi.

"Because he asked you to help countless times in the past few weeks" replies Kyoko.

"T-that can't be true, yes I am helping him with ideas for his fanfiction but nothing of that type of sort at all! Honest, you got to believe me guys" cries Naegi feeling mortified in public.

"Yeah I believe you dude! Kyoko why would you say that? That's like totally not cool on any planet" replies Yasuhiro.

Sayaka and Leon look at Kyoko in disgust and Makoto looks at her concerned.

"I don't know why you been acting this way Kyoko, I respect you a lot but right now you hurt my feelings and it will take some time for me to forgive you..." replies Makoto.

Makoto and Yasuhiro past Kyoko as she felt very violated by her behaviour towards him but it was the only thing she could do to save from the others finding out about him.

"Kyoko what was that?" replies Sayaka a bit sour. Kyoko turns around and sees a face she hasn't seen Sayaka made before.

"I find it strange that he's walking around but I get that he probably just wants to keep himself busy...what I don't understand is forgiving a person to say something as low as that...especially coming from you!" shouts Sayaka angrily. She then walks away and decides to go catch up to younger Naegi. Leon just shakes his head and lifts his hands up in disappointment.

"Look detective girl, you aren't going to have anyone on your side if you treat people that way. Just for future references" replies Leon turning away and catching up to Sayaka.

Detective Kyoko felt hurt from doing that on the inside but it was the only thing she could do. She knew that when she gets too close to anyone she begins to cloud her own judgement of people but deep down she cares more than any other person believes of her. It may not look like it on the outside but on the inside, she thinks about others all the time but knows that she must think logically and not let emotions always get in the way. Although with everything happening it was making her feel weak, miserable and at this point, she didn't know if it could get any worse; in fact it did.

Old Main Building Front Entrance

7:47pm

1 HOUR AND 13 MINUTES UNTIL THE TRAGEDY...

Naegi looks around at the building and recalls being in here throughout the mutual killing game and it was bringing back too many horrific memories that left him in despair. He recalled that there was a specific area that it happens in and if he remembers correctly, it was on the fifth floor in this building that it occurs. He briskly makes his way to the stairs and heads up there.

5 minutes later he arrives at his destination as he heaves out of breath a little but he feels that he's been improving from all the times he's had to run throughout his time here. He takes out the time machine and decides to jump a little to the future so he didn't have to wait and quickly he places it down in the hallway flicking the switch and pressing the orange button. The light begins to dance around in the air and then he vanishes.

Old Main Building 5 F Hallway

8:55pm

Naegi arrives as he quickly puts the machine back in his big coat pocket and hears chattering happening in the distance.

'This is it! It's about to happen! I got to warn them before its too late!' thought Naegi.

Naegi dashes forward as he makes his way close to the door and as he opens it he sees 14 students standing around while they silence when they see him.

"You got to get the fuck out of here now! It's a trap!" cries Naegi.

They all stare at him in a panic and Naegi shouts at them again.

"Don't ask questions you don't want the answer to, now move it!" cries Naegi.

They all look at each other and then they charge his way. Until Naegi felt something cold rest at the back of his cerebellum.

"Nobody is going anywhere!" shouts Junko Enoshima.

They all halt and see Naegi standing there in fear.

'Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck I was so CLOOOOSE!' thought Naegi angrily.

"You think you are going to shine hope that easily, even if they all got away...I just would hunt them down before they could even escape this building alive...ahah" replies Junko licking Makoto's ear.

"Funny that you're here...I didn't expect you to even know about this, it would be a tragic itself if you disappeared" replies Junko. He grabs Makoto and throws him out the hallway where Mukuro was standing behind her and she had an assault rifle aimed at his head.

"I'm sorry boys and girls! But the party has only just begun! PUPUPUHAHAHAHAHA" laughs Junko hysterically with the pistol in her hand.

'No this can't happen like this! I-I won't let this happen!' thought Naegi about to go berserk.

"Don't try it. I know that look anywhere, I've seen it too many times on the battlefield..." replies Mukuro tightening her grip on the gun.

"Now now all of you little runts get back in the playpen like good little shits you are! We'll be starting shortly!" shouts Junko with pride.

"Mukuro do understand what you are doing? This is a felony your committing and you don't want this...it's your sister's plan right?" replies Naegi reassuring her.

"Hurry up and kill him! I want to get this show on the road! We don't have all night!" shouts Junko a bit furious at her sister.

"Let us go you monster!" shouts one of the students.

"Shut-up!" replies Junko

*BANG!*

Naegi flinched as he heard a person fall to the ground in the room ahead of him and a woman shrieking at the top of her lungs. His eyes filled with fear as he looked at Mukuro and saw that she too was brainwashed by her sister's plan of ultimate demise. There was no emotion, just a blank serious stare as she looked at Makoto getting ready for any movements of a threat from him.

"An innocent person just died! Why are you doing this!?" shouts Naegi angrily.

"Because it's our plan for ultimate despair" replies Mukuro as she then was about to pull the trigger.

Naegi quickly takes out the time machine and begins flicking the time when suddenly she fired away at him but hitting the machine and instantly electricity went haywire.

"MUKURO!" shouts Naegi furiously.

"Just die already!" replies Junko bored.

*BANG BANG!*

The bullets hit Naegi on his side rib cage and a little below his waist from the second bullet as he went to his knees, blood was pouring all over the floor and within that instant, he heard a voice in the far distance.

"NAEGI-KUN!" cries Kyoko in utter despair.

"K-kyoko...I...I will...I will save you AAAAALLLLLLLLLL!" shouts Naegi in pain as he desperately presses the orange button constantly and within a millisecond, Naegi disappeared into thin air and gone from existence.

Kyoko saw that he was no longer there while Mukuro and Junko froze in shock by the random vanishing scene. Kyoko begins to tear up crying and shouts.

"YOU ARE GOING TO REGRET YOU EVER DID THAT! I HOPE YOU KNOW THAT I WILL BE BRING YOU TWO TO JUSTICE ONE WAY OR ANOTHER, YOU FUCKIN SON OF A BITCHES!" shouts Kyoko at the top of her lungs with impetuous rage.

Kyoko then begins to run away as fast as her legs could take her down the stairs and soon left the building without being followed as she cried her heart out in despair.
