Chapter 21: Problems in the South!
As we left off the northern pack was about to answer a very crucial question that can turn the tide of the war that has begun with the Reapers. "We will... Join you I have family members that I cannot see die in front of my eyes if being with you is the best option for me and my pack then we will stand with you till the end!" He said "Oh and by the way call me Brandon"
Humphrey's P.O.V
Now that we have Brandon and the Northern pack standing with us I believe we may have a chance at defeating the Reapers after all not I like I doubted our odds anyway. "Brandon we need a good spot to dig in and take up defensive positions, somewhere we can bunker down?" I asked knowing that the freedom packs territory is not ideal for a battle anymore.
"I have one place in mind that may suit out needs it's up in the cliffs by the overpass it's a great strategic place to hold out or even win this war." He replied "Great, Delta I have a mission for you I need you to go back to the freedom pack and give the order for them to make their way here." I know that they are going to take their time so I'm going to go on a trip of my own to the southern pack.
"Great, while you are going to the freedom pack me and Kate will head to the southern pack and check if they want to join the war effort against the Reapers." I started making my way towards the southern pack and motioned Kate to follow me.
Meanwhile in the southern pack
"Sir there are wolves entering out borders!" A southern scout says. "Are they Hostile?" The leader says "I believe so Nick" the scout says. "We must get the women and Children into the shelter send our fastest runner to the freedom pack we need help now more than ever." "Your will be done" the scout disappears into the distance.
Nick's P.O.V
I've heard of these Reapers but never saw them until now, I hope help will come soon.
Somewhere out in the distance
We arrive back to our favourite couple just of the border of the southern pack. "Humphrey I would like to know how you go to the northern pack so quickly." Kate asked "Well Kate I believe my Grand farther told of my abilities yes?" Humphrey replied. Kate thought hard to the time he met his grand farther
Short Flash Back
"Well he could heal himself" "Well that's good to know" "Why" "Well if he can heal himself he has the powers of his mom which can maybe can bring him back to life but he has to have meaning who knows he might be watching on us from above right now" "What powers did his dad have" Kate was now curious to know because her mate was a God "Well his father at super speed and Super Strength"
Back to reality Humphrey's P.O.V
As me and Kate are on our way to the southern pack we bump into another wolf "Please you got to help us!" he exclaims "Whoa calm down what's wrong?" I try to calm him down. "I've been sent to the freedom pack to get help the Reapers are at our borders!" He says trying not sound worried. "My name is Humphrey and this is my mate Kate we are the Freedom Pack leaders." I say "Wait Humphrey so you are real!" I like how he said that.
"Alright go to the Freedom pack and tell them to get all the alphas to come to the Southern pack as soon as possible and prepare for battle. Oh and if you see a group called delta tell them to stay there and still get all the others to the northern pack." I needed delta to continue on the original mission.
"Will do Humphrey" as he said that he disappeared into the distance. "Humphrey what are we going to do now?" Kate asked me. "We need to hurry to the Southern pack, we need to try a save them from the Reapers this will be a test of our strength and ability."
