Your patience with me is astounding. Thank you times a billion. I hope you are all doing well.
Soooo I've written my first smutty scene. If you're under 18, don't read it or I'll tell your mom/dad/whoever. You can skip past it too. You won't miss anything essential to the plot if you choose to do so. It's nothing too crazy but I figured it was about time there was one haha
Anyways I hope you enjoy!
much love

Trouble on my left,
Trouble on my right,
I've been facing trouble almost all my life.
My sweet love, won't you pull me through?
Trouble by Cage the Elephant
She was glad she never put too much stock into League meetings. Seeing how boring they actually were almost made her wish she still wasn't allowed. From the other side of the screen Zatanna had glared at her and she stared back at her with indifference. They gave her, her very own folder (gasp) and she had to pretend she and Robin hadn't been going over the notes for weeks now. After everyone was updated, she packed up her notes dutifully and mentally patting herself on the back for not getting into any fights today
"Raven," she paused and looked up at the screen where Batman sat, "can I have a moment?"
Raven raised an eyebrow and looked towards Robin who stood by the door, wearing an unreadable expression but radiating wariness and surprise. He waited for her to nod before he left the room, leaving her alone with Batman. She sat down in Robin's usual spot before he continued
"I didn't have the chance to properly thank you for saving my life."
"It's what I do."
"That's what Robin said."
She could faintly detect a hint of amusement in his tone. Before she had a chance to control them, the words poured out of her mouth
"I'm not going to hurt him, you know."
Batman considered her for a moment and she desperately wished she could tell what he was feeling through the screen. Did he doubt her? She went with that
"I think that's what you're worried about and I understand. I know I'm not a safe choice. I know there is darkness in me. But I never choose it. I would die before I'd let anything happen to him," she swallowed, forcing the emotion from her voice, "I love him. So much. If there's only one good thing you see in me, I want it to be that"
Suddenly she was unable to look at the man on the other side of the screen. Her heart thudded in her chest, horrified and strangely freed by her confession.
"For all these years, I've looked at you as a liability. Inevitable destruction," she flinched but looked back up at him, "I know you don't like the League or me for that matter," he looked at her knowingly and she didn't bother looking apologetic, "But still, you suffered in order to save me. It is one thing to risk your life for the ones you love but it is another thing to risk your life for someone you hate," she didn't move
"That is what a true hero does. I'm sorry I didn't see it before now."
Speechless, she nodded and she felt them come to an understanding. No apology, no matter how beautiful, would ever make up for the help they had denied her while she was so young and lost. They both knew that. But it was a step forward.
"I don't plan on ever joining the League"
"I don't ever plan on asking you to"
She felt the corner of her mouth twitch and she could've sworn that his did too.
Something felt wrong when she woke up, a heaviness that settled within her and curled its inky tendrils around her insides. It made her feel off balance and uneasy. She sought out each of her teammates, mumbling some lame excuse to Robin. The horrible feeling didn't loosen its grip even after finding each of her teammates safe and sound in the Tower.
Sensing her unease, Robin filled her favorite mug with tea and sat it in front of her, watching her attempt to hide her nerves. Her hands grasped around the warm mug and she looked at him,
No sense in hiding it
"Something's wrong, Robin. I can feel it."
He sat down next to her, his brow furrowing with concern. The feeling of his heart dropping did not help.
"Are you feeling sick again?"
He watched her carefully and he found himself wondering how long they had until she got sick again. How long they could prolong the inevitable. Raven constantly wondered about this too. Besides that mysterious feeling, she felt pretty good. No signs pointing towards a decline in her health. Not yet.
She grabbed his hand, hopefully to relieve his worry while fighting her own
"No I'm fine. Just something feels off."
He brushed a piece of hair from her face
"Like something bad is going to happen?"
She felt the dread dig deeper into her
"Exactly"
VISITOR, the security system announced. Robin frowned with confusion before putting on his mask. Cyborg walked into the room and the duo turned towards him and Raven felt her heart drop into the pit that had been forming in her all morning. Beside him stood James Wolff, smiling as Cyborg spoke to him. Suddenly his attention was on them
"Good morning, Robin," he grinned at Robin and looked towards her, giving her the same grin even as something flashed in his eyes. He knew she hadn't told them the truth about their evening, "Raven. I hope I'm not interrupting anything."
She watched as his eyes flickered towards her hands and realized that she was now standing, her powers just beginning to glow at her fingertips.
Cyborg and Robin regarded her with suspicion and she clenched her fists as she regained control. She felt his amusement and anticipation and she gritted her teeth,
"Not at all"
Feeling her tension, Robin stood next to her and addressed the man,
"How can we help you?"
"I told Cyborg I had a new medical software I've been working on and he said it was fine to stop by," he said earnestly. Raven could practically hear Cyborg's mind racing with excitement and impatience.
He watched for her reaction towards his presence and she gave him none. He was testing her, searching for any sign of anger. She almost smirked when she felt a tinge of his frustration. Beside her, she felt Robin's jealousy prickle her skin. Even though it wasn't for the same reason, she was glad he wasn't thrilled by the billionaire's presence either.
Recovering, Cyborg gestured towards the hallway, "I'm going to take Mr. Wolff to the medical wing so we can check it out. Is that cool?"
"Cool with me," Robin shrugged and looked to her, "Cool with you?"
Not cool. She didn't want him in their medical wing. She didn't even want him in their home.
"Have at it," she said flatly. With a quick goodbye, Cyborg and Wolff left the room. Robin stood beside her stiffly, his eyes still watching the hallway. Tension rolled off of him and she turned to face him
"You're not cool with it are you?"
"Not at all."
"No longer on friendly terms, huh?"
He looked at her seriously
"Raven, he and I stopped being on friendly terms the moment he sent you that dress and took you on a date."
She rolled her eyes, "Ugh don't remind me."
For a moment, she allowed herself to imagine going on a date with Robin. Titans didn't make their relationships public. The citizens of Jump City could assume all they wanted, but they wouldn't catch any of them on a date with another hero. The people who liked the Titans would bother them nonstop about it and the people who didn't could use it against them.
They had already seen how it could turn out with Slade knowing and it was nothing short of a nightmare
"Was Wolff the reason for that bad feeling?"
Robin pulled her from her thoughts, his brow furrowing with concern. She smirked. At this point he just wanted a solid reason to punch the man in the face
I have a few reasons
"No," she felt the hollow feeling in the pit of her stomach mocking her, "Maybe I just need to meditate."
"I'll be in my room if you need me," she said as she rinsed her mug in the sink.
"I always need you," He replied and kissed her on the cheek
The horrible feeling left her for a moment as his lips pressed against her skin. The warmth spread through her body and she found herself smiling. Through their bond, he could feel her happiness, the residual sunlight touching him as well. Her eyes fell to his lips and only a second passed before she felt them on her. The kiss deepened and she wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling him closer. She felt his hands travel down her back until he grabbed her waist and pulled her against him.
She was reminded of the way he had grabbed her in the hallway before she left and how he had whispered that she was his. As his lips hungrily pressed against her neck, she remembered her vow
Yours
Yours
Yours
She felt desire pool inside of her as his arousal pressed against her leg. His hands slipped under her shirt and cupped her breasts and she moaned into his mouth as his thumbs grazed her nipples. With a groan, he lifted her onto the table and stepped in between her legs. She grabbed him and pulled him closer so she could feel him against her core. The friction only left her wanting more
"Fuck, Rae," he groaned against her neck
"I want you" she gasped and looked around, "not in the kitchen though."
He let out a breathy laugh and pressed another long kiss to her lips before he picked her up. She wrapped her legs around as he walked them halfway down the hallway before she felt her back hit the wall. Robin broke the kiss and looked at her with a dark expression
"I seriously don't think we'll make it to your room"
She kissed along his jaw and her lips paused at his ear as she reached down his sweatpants and grabbed him,
"Then we won't"
He grabbed her arms and put them around his neck and his hands quickly unzipped her pants and slid two fingers in her. She tossed her head back, hitting the wall and biting back the moan. Robin watched her face as it flushed with pleasure and leaned in to kiss her exposed neck. She let out a whimper and she felt Robin's breath against her ear
"Shhh, Rae. We have guests."
On the other end of the hallway, she could hear the muffled voices of Cyborg and their "guest"
"Please Robin," she needed him inside of her. She reached down and released his hard member from his pants and gently coaxed him. She looked at him with hooded eyes, the need clear in her voice. Without another word, he slid into her, his mouth capturing her moan. His arm lifted her from underneath and his other hand slid back under her shirt and under her bra, rolling her nipple gently and driving her mad.
"You feel so good," she gasped and she felt him shudder against her
She held onto him tightly, her nails across his shoulders as he pressed her harder against the wall. He let out a groan,
"Jesus Christ,"
The name stung her but immediately was lost in her pleasure. She placed a hand over his mouth
"Shhh. We have guests."
He smiled against her hand and then immediately dropped it to hold onto him as she felt herself reaching the edge, the coil within her tightening. Finally, it released and she cried out into Robin's hand as he pressed it against her mouth, riding out the wave of pleasure as he came quickly after her, burying a string of curses into her neck.
After a moment, he lowered her gently to the ground and she found herself surprised that she could still stand. She looked up at him and he smiled down at her
"So?"
She tapped her finger to her chin, forcing a serious face even though she felt like a puddle
"It was okay."
"Just okay, huh?"
She had to fight a smile from her face, "Mhm"
"I see"
At the look on his face, she turned to run, a burst of giggles flickering the lights. He grabbed her and threw her over his shoulder and she laughed as he carried her down the hall towards his room
"Well now I feel like I have to prove myself"
"Bring it Boy Blunder"
She shook the rain from her jacket as she stepped into Mahogany Hall. The book and her notes were tucked securely inside her jacket. The archer case had taken most of her time lately, but she still kept her promise to Dr. Cunningham and continued to translate it for him. She hadn't come across anything too groundbreaking yet but she was sure to find something in there.
The sinking feeling from earlier that morning returned like a punch to the gut. Her instincts screamed that something was wrong. Instead of making her want to turn around, she walked faster as the dread dug its way through her.
She recalled that primal feeling the night she had found Aquaman's body. She had smelled trouble like it was blood on the back of her nose and she was a starving animal.
Her heart pounded with fear and disturbingly, excitement as she picked up her pace to a jog and knew she was getting closer. When she reached Dr. Cunningham's office, she moved to open it and paused realizing that this was exactly how she had felt before diving into the dark ocean that night on the dock. The excitement rushed from her and she was left with fear
Finally she opened the door and her eyes immediately fell on the body on the floor with an arrow in its chest and a pool of blood forming beneath it
Dr. Cunningham
She fell beside him and checked for a pulse, sighing with relief when she found one
"Doctor, can you hear me?"
No answer. Her hand wrapped around the arrow and she mumbled an apology before she pulled it from him. As soon as the blood started pouring from the open wound, she put her palms on his chest and began to heal him,
"Come on," she begged him, "You can't die." Covered in her own blood, she called the ambulance with shaking hands. She had grown to like the demonologist. He genuinely seemed to enjoy spending time with her and always offered his help. He had given her his most valuable possession with no hesitation.
She began CPR and glanced at the familiar bloody arrow beside her. The archer had come after the doctor. But why? A rush of guilt washed over her, knowing he was dying because of her. The office lights flickered above her at her emotion and she swallowed it down.
She stepped back when the paramedics came in as hot tears prickled her eyes. You saved his life, they said as they lifted him on the stretcher. He's going to be okay, they assured her in the ambulance. But she couldn't hear any of that
This is your fault
The hospital insisted that they check her over and she insisted that they did not touch her. Finally they backed off but she still was not allowed to see Dr. Cunningham.
"Are you family?" the nurse asked, not looking up from her game of solitaire on the computer.
Raven thought of all the times they had talked about her heritage
"Kinda," she responded
"If you're not family then…"
You can fuck off
"Raven!"
Robin had rushed in and sighed with relief when he saw her sitting there with a scowl on her face. Her features immediately softened when she saw him standing there. He hugged her tightly, ignoring the nurse who stared at him with shock.
"Are you okay?" he asked as he frowned at the amount of blood on her shirt.
"I'm fine," she assured him, suddenly aware of the state she was in. No wonder the nurse wasn't going to let her in. She looked like a serial killer, "I just need to see him."
Robin turned to the nurse, "We need to speak to Dr. Cunningham. He's a witness in our investigation."
One look at the nurse and Raven knew she was going to let them in the room. Robin had that effect on people.
"Of course," she said, her solitaire game forgotten, "395. The third to last door on the left."
He grinned at her like she had solved the investigation for them and Raven rolled her eyes.
"Thank you," he replied before grabbing Raven's hand and pulling her down the hallway. As they neared the room, her heart suddenly felt lodged in her throat
"This is all my fault," she finally said aloud as they reached the door. Robin turned towards her,
"You didn't put that arrow in him. The archer did," she looked at him, unconvinced, "You saved his life, Rae."
"He wouldn't have needed it though if…"
He placed a hand over her mouth and she glared at him
"I don't know this man, but if he's anything like you've described, he isn't blaming you. We can make it up to him by getting rid of the Archer."
Raven nodded once and he dropped his hand and opened the door for her. They walked in to the heart monitor beeping steadily as tubes gave him back the blood he had lost. He was awake
"Raven," he greeted her with a smile, "good to see you."
Hot tears prickled her eyes and she fought to keep her voice even
"You look like Hell"
He laughed and she was relieved to see that he did seem healthy. She stepped closer
"Well despite how I look, I feel pretty good," his smiling face turned serious, "You saved my life. Thank you."
Raven looked down at her feet, "You don't have to thank me."
"Well I already did," his eyes glanced towards Robin, "Robin of the Teen Titans coming to visit me?"
Robin joined her by his bedside and shook his hand
"We're glad to see that you're okay. If you don't mind, we'd like to ask you about the man who attacked you."
Dr. Cunningham nodded gravely, "He came in asking about you," he looked towards her, "Said he needed information on your abilities. I told him that I only knew of the ones everyone sees on the news. Telekinesis. Summoning portals. Healing. Soul projection…I said that he could take any of my books. I assumed he shot me because it wasn't the answer he was looking for."
"I'd assume so," she said quietly. She wondered why he needed information on her abilities and how he knew she had been consulting with Dr. Cunningham. Had he been following her?
His voice broke through her thoughts, "I didn't tell him about your Mark. Or about the Seven or anything like that."
Her heart swelled at his determination to protect her, "Doctor, if your life is on the line, I give you permission to tell my secrets."
"Ah," he said, his eyes twinkling, "But then I wouldn't get to feel so special being one of the few that knows them."
She smiled at him and then stifled a yawn. He waved his hand at her
"Get out of here. You need rest," Raven rolled her eyes at him and he smiled, "Come back and visit me. Bring me something to read."
She remembered the notes in her pocket and handed them to him and after realizing what they were, he flipped through them excitedly.
"Chapter five and six are all done. I added some of my own notes from other books I've read. I can bring those for you too if you want"
"Thank you," he said with a grin
"Anything to help my favorite civilian"
