Things
The next day was relatively calm, as the day was Sunday so both restaurants were closed. Mike, Rick, and Thomas requested a short shift for today as well. They wanted to see the news with the animatronics. The animatronics from KyouSou Pizzeria were there as well. The entire group crowded around Mike and his phone waiting for the news.
"Stop shoving." Bonnie whispered to Wan.
"I'm not shoving. This is shoving." Wan replied pushing Bonnie out of the group. Bonnie growled and pushed Wan back. The two were about to punch each other when Freddy punched them both on their cheeks. They both rubbed their cheeks wincing in pain.
"Don't start that now." Freddy ordered. "We are waiting for something important and essential, we do not need your petty quarrels." The bunny and croc stuck their tongues out at the brown bear. "You two are so immature." Freddy mumbled. The three went back to Mike's phone and the news came on. The first topic was about the two restaurants.
"... Yesterday, police had gotten reports of gun shots being heard around the area of the pizzerias, KyouSou and Freddy Fazbear's. We have spoken with the managers of both restaurants and this is what they had to say: 'Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria has had similar incidents, however we are both doing our best to avoid problems like this.' Mr. Reynolds of Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria had said. 'This was a flaw in Plonk's design. The animatronics of both restaurants are programmed to protect the restaurants after hours. They also have identification sensors to the criminal records. The men who broke in were past criminals. Technically, the animatronics were doing their job. But I assure you they are supposed to immobilize the intruders until authorities arrive, not kill them. Again I say, this was a flaw in their design. We will be correct this flaw in all of the animatronics this weekend so they well be prepared for the next day.' Says Mr. Hito of KyouSou Pizzeria. From where we stand, with what we have seen and heard, we can only hope that history isn't about to repeat itself. This is Sean Askew for Channel Seven News."
"Well, I guess all we can do is hope that this doesn't tarnish our reputations." Koneko said.
"Yeah, but Mr. Reynolds and Mr. Hito are really good at wording things." Bonnie said putting his hands behind his head.
"Mmhmm!" Chica agreed. "They make it sound like everything is going to be okay."
"Wouldn't it be wise to give it that approach?" Freddy asked. "They both want to continue to stay in business. That's is why we cannot afford to have something like this to occur again." The brown bear glanced and Plonk, who looked away ashamed.
"Does anyone know where Goldy went?" Riomei asked looking around. "I haven't seen him since last night."
"He's probably just in the kitchen eating." Freddy said bluntly with hint of irritation. Suddenly the gold bear they were talking about walked out of the kitchen with three slices of pizza in one hand, a cupcake in the other, and two cookies in his mouth.
"Weir' choice o' foo' ye go' thar Gold." Foxy pointed out. Goldy smiled and nodded happily.
"What can I shay? I lofe foo'." Goldy attempted to say.
"We can barely understand what you are saying." Bonnie said. Goldy's eyes darted around the room then back at those in front of him.
"I'm really gassy right now and I don't know why." Goldy said out of the blue swallowing the cookies whole.
"Why would we care?" Wan asked irritably. Goldy shrugged his shoulders before burping loudly.
"Hehe, told you." He giggled.
"It's most likely because of the massive portions of food you are consuming." Freddy told his brother sternly.
"When did you become a doctor, Freddy?" Bonnie teased. Freddy chuckled at Bonnie's comment.
"At least it's not coming out the other end." Rick said with his hands behind his head. Goldy began to blush embarrassingly.
"It... s-sorta already has." He muttered. Freddy irritably covered his nose and walked off. The group groaned in disgust as the stench filled the air.
"At least warn us Goldy!" Bonnie said wafting the air with his hand. Goldy's blush brightened.
"Sorry..." He apologized.
"Ugh, so anyway... ugh Goldy." Mike uttered. Goldy frowned as his blush became even brighter. "But, I think we are going to be okay. If Mr. Reynolds and Mr. Hito can expunge the suspicion from our customers' minds we should be fine."
"Okay so, since we have practically the whole day to ourselves, why don't we play a game?" Koneko suggested.
"You sure like to play games don't you?" Bonnie asked as matter of factly.
"Mmhmm." The tricolored cat uttered nodding. "Don't you?"
"Well, not the way you say it. You make it sound so seducing." Bonnie told her.
"And Mike says my mind is dirty, hmph." Rick muttered angrily. Koneko stared at the purple bunny in an annoyed manner.
"You know what, forget you then." She said intimidatingly. The cat stormed off in the direction of the manager's office, where she found Freddy.
"Hey there fat bear." She greeted playfully.
"What do you want, Koneko?" Freddy replied sorting out papers and documents in the office.
"Nothing, just coming to say hi."
"Is there something you want from me?" Freddy asked completely disregarding what the cat had just said.
"Nope, nothing."
"No seriously, what do you want?" The bear asked again turning around to face the cat.
"Wow, how do you know me so well in such a short amount of time?"
"Your body language and your attitude. Your behavior depicts you as self-absorbed and greedy." Freddy said bluntly.
"Oh, so you've been looking at my body have you?" Koneko asked raising an eyebrow. Freddy's eyes widened and blush instantly appeared on his face.
"WHAT!?" he bellowed. "I am not like that! That is extremely disgraceful and distasteful!"
"Interesting choice of words, 'disTASTEful." Koneko purred. Freddy's blush grew brighter.
"Y-y-you are just trying to unsettle me. B-but I won't let you get to me." The brown bear said turning around to face the desk. Koneko grinned mischievously and slapped Freddy's butt. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?" Freddy screamed, his entire face was red.
"Oh my goodness! That is so funny!" Koneko laughed clutching her stomach. "You- you think you are in so much control and one move can make you fall apart!" Freddy covered his butt with his hands embarrassingly.
"Get out of here! I don't-"
"Go that way? Are you trying to tell me something Freddy?" The cat continued to laugh.
"Shut up! Just get out! Stop harassing me!"
"Strong words *censored*bear." Koneko purred. Freddy back up nervously.
"You are starting to scare me now." Freddy murmured. "Please go away."
"Freddy, you need to learn how to take jokes." Koneko said, much more calmly. "That was all a facade to get you flustered. Why are you so uptight?" Freddy didn't reply he stood there with his hands still covering his bottom.
"Please leave." The bear said again. Koneko sighed and walked out.
"You're no fun." She said softly. Freddy finally relaxed and repeated "fun" in his head. "How is that fun?" He thought. Koneko walked into the dining room with a solemn look on her face.
"What's the matter, Koneko-sama?" Teddie asked.
"Nothing, just... nothing." The tricolored cat replied. Teddie cocked his head to the side as he stared at Koneko worriedly.
"Are you sure? You look like something is troubling you." Koneko sighed again and then looked back at the manager's office.
"Teddie, can you do me a favor?" Koneko asked, her solemn expression becoming one of determination.
"Of course, Koneko-sama. What do you need?" Teddie asked, a smile creeping on his face.
"Go get Freddy for me." Koneko ordered.
"Got it!" Teddie said running toward the manager's office. "Freddy-san!" The panda called.
"Yes, what is it Teddie?" Freddy asked finishing up his work in the office.
"Come with me please." Teddie said taking Freddy by the wrist. Freddy almost fell by losing his balance from being suddenly grabbed.
"What are you doing?" Freddy asked trailing behind the panda.
"Koneko-sama wants to see you." Teddie responded. Freddy looked ahead as his eyes narrowed. The two stopped when they met up with a smiling tricolored cat.
"Hi." Koneko greeted happily.
"What do you want now?" Freddy asked angrily.
"To have some fun."
"You mean what happened in the office. No thank you, that was not fun."
"Relax player, I don't mean that."
"Player?" Freddy muttered to himself.
"I am going to get you out of your tensed state." Koneko told the bear.
"I'm not tense." Freddy returned simply.
"Yes you are. You look like you're worried about every little thing! I want you to relax!" Koneko complained, unintentionally raising her voice.
"Why do you care?" Freddy deadpanned with a raised eyebrow.
"I don't *censored*-ing know, shoot me." Koneko replied throwing her hands in the air. Freddy flinched slightly to Koneko's foul language, but somehow there was something in Koneko that Freddy sorta... liked.
"Umm, what do you suggest?" Freddy asked, readjusting his bow tie.
"Relax. That's it. Let loose once in a while. Just let everything go." Koneko said softly.
"You know, if you were in my shoes, you would realize that I cannot 'let loose' like you want me to. I have too much to do."
"What do you have to do!? You're an animatronic bear!" Koneko retorted.
"I have to look after my family, make certain that the restaurant is clean, occasionally help the staff, too much to even list." Freddy said, staying calm.
"Freddy, again I say, you are an animatronic bear! You don't have to do any of that, except for looking after your family!" Koneko replied angrily. Freddy stared at the tricolored cat solemnly.
"You don't understand..." Freddy murmured. "Me, my family, and this restaurant has been through too much. I don't want us to subside at all. We are getting so close, I can't and won't let anything that can harm the success in this business or happiness in this family." Koneko gazed at Freddy, minutely astonished.
"He's... so noble and strong... and self sacrificing." The tricolored cat thought. "Fine, I get it. You're family is extremely important to you."
"Not important, essential to my being." Freddy corrected sternly.
"That's an admirable attribute. I praise you for that." Koneko said. Freddy showed a small grin. During all of this, Teddie was standing innocently beside Freddy.
"So... was there a problem or something?" Teddie asked. "If so, have we found a solution?" Freddy and Koneko glanced at the panda, giving him a small nod. Teddie smiled and ran off in the direction of the kitchen.
"Thank you for caring about me, Koneko." Freddy said.
"I don't care about you per se..." Koneko muttered. Freddy chuckled and gave her a small hug, which he blushed at the end of.
"S-still, thanks." The bear stuttered before walking off. Koneko blushed slightly as well and quickly shrugged it off. In the kitchen, Goldy and Chica were talking. Goldy doesn't really have much to do everyday so he just randomly picks someone to talk to. Today that person was Chica. Bonnie was walking by when he noticed the two. He stopped and cautiously making one eye view inside.
"So Goldy, even though you and Freddy are brothers, I haven't seen anything that you two really have in common. Do you know?" Chic asked curiously. Goldy was sitting on the counter in the center of the kitchen kicking his feet back and forth in front of him.
"Well, brother and I don't really talk much. I mean, we do talk but he is way more serious than I am." Goldy answered. "He says I've been acting too naive. But I dunno." The gold bear shrugged with a smile. "But as for things in common... we are both bears, we're guys-"
"Not blatant things Goldy. I mean like personality or likeness wise." Chica corrected sweetly.
"Oohh! Well, I think we both have the same taste in girls." Goldy said putting his hand on his chin. "I know I'm much more trusting that Freddy. But that would be my fault that he's like that." Chica frowned and nodded.
"Why is she asking him questions like that?" Bonnie thought. The purple bunny squinted his eyes in suspicion, then turned around when he felt something tap his shoulder. It was Teddie. "Yeah, what do want?"
"I want to get something to eat, Bonnie-kun." Teddie replied, slightly fidgeting with the end of his green vest. Bonnie smirked and stepped aside, watching the panda make his way inside. The purple bunny instantly went back into his position of viewing Chica and Goldy.
"Hi Teddie!" Goldy greeted happily.
"Hi Goldy-kun." Teddie returned with a large grin. "May I have some pizza Chica-chan?"
"Of course you can Teddie." Chica chirped grabbing some already cooked pizza from the refrigerator then after warming it up, she handed it to the panda. "Enjoy." Chica said cheerfully.
"I certainly will." Teddie replied with a sweet grin before taking a bite of the pizza and walking out. "See you later, Bonnie-kun."
"Later." Bonnie said attempting to act as casually as possible then again going back to watching Goldy and Chica. But he was tapped on the shoulder again. This time with an agitated look, Bonnie turned around to see Wan.
"Oh, hey man." Bonnie greeted holding out his fist.
"Hey, what are ya doing?" Wan said bumping his fist into Bonnie's.
"Sp- I mean I was about to get some pizza." Bonnie stuttered before laughing nervously.
"Checking out Chica?" Wan asked with a straight face.
"Y-yes..." Bonnie admitted blushing heavily.
"Dude, you don't have to hide it from me. I like Chica too. But she is going to be mine." Wan said putting his hands behind his head.
"Oh really? And how are you so sure?" Bonnie asked intimidatingly.
"Because I exude confidence." Wan stated proudly.
"No you don't, you exude arrogance." Bonnie retorted.
"And you exude insecurity!" Wan shouted.
"And you exude insanity!" Bonnie yelled.
"You exude complacency!" Wan yelled back.
"Both of you exude stupidity!" Freddy interjected. The bunny and croc looked over to where the irritated bear was standing.
"And you exude an authorization complex like you own something even you don't really have anything!" Wan and Bonnie yelled at Freddy. Freddy growled and knocked the two's heads into each other, sending them both to the ground.
"At least I have something to back it up." Freddy said dusting off his hands.
"You're more of a bully than any of us, y'know that Freddy?" Bonnie grumbled rubbing the side of his head.
"I'm not a bully, it's called discipline." Freddy replied.
"And who gave you the permission to do that, dad?" Wan asked angrily.
"Me being the leader of this group and being head of this family earns me that permission. As well as my name is on the building, and its not like any of you are mature enough to do it." Freddy explained sternly.
"And what makes you so mature? Your stupid bow tie and top hat?" Bonnie teased.
"I assume that it does add superiority to my dignified stature."
"More like stuck-up and snobby stature." Bonnie whisper to the crocodile beside him. Wan snickered and Freddy slapped both of their heads simultaneously.
"I heard that." The bear growled.
"You were supposed to wise guy." Wan laughed. Bonnie laughed as well. Freddy rolled his eyes and walked off from the two laughing animatronics.
"He-hey, lets go check out Chica." Bonnie suggested wiping a tear from his eye that was caused by his laughing.
"O-okay." Wan chortled getting up and helping Bonnie up as well before the two walked to the kitchen doors. They both peeked through the glass to look at Chica. Goldy was still in there but he looked like he was about to leave. The two panicked and ran into each other, slamming their foreheads together. The two quickly got up and hid by the doors. Goldy waved to Chica as he walked out.
"Talk to you later!" He giggled.
"Okay, thanks for your help Goldy!" Chica replied with a large smile.
"Anytime Chica!" Goldy said before he skipped off. Bonnie and Wan grinned at each other as the doors shut again. The two shot back into their positions and stared through the glass.
"She's so pretty." Bonnie sighed contently.
"I know, and she's so nice and she can cook." Wan agreed. "I am totally going to get her to be mine."
"No, she'll be mine." Bonnie objected. "And we'll stare at the stars together."
"That sounds like a dream, and you know what, it would only happen in your dreams!" Wan taunted.
"Just wait and see, we are supposed to be together." Bonnie stated. Wan rolled his eyes and the two fell silent, staring at Chica.
"Wha' are ye two doin'?" Foxy asked from behind. The two both turned to face the red fox and shushed him before turning back. Foxy growled and pulled them both from the doors. "I sai', wha' are ye two doin!?" He repeated louder. The two shushed him again. "If ye two scallywags shush me one more time-"
"Foxy! Shut up! We were looking at Chica if you must know!" Bonnie told him.
"So, ye two were spyin' on th' lass?" Foxy asked curiously.
"Well... yeah." Wan admitted. Foxy looked away as blush appeared on his face.
"C-c-can I uh... join ye?" The red fox was completely embarrassed by his question.
"You like Chica too!?" Bonnie yelled in astonishment.
"Hush lad, aye... I do." Foxy admitted. "I alrea'y knew ye two di'."
"Yeah, 'cause we were open about it." Wan stated. "But who knew a pirate could have a crush?" Foxy's blush brightened.
"S-so are y goin' ta le' me join er no'?"
"Or nah." Bonnie chuckled. "Sure, you can join us."
"Join them with what?" Chica asked coming out of the kitchen. The three guys flinched at Chica's sudden appearance.
"N-nothin'." Foxy said before running toward Pirate's Cove and closing the curtains behind him. Chica giggled at Foxy's reaction. Then Bonnie and Wan walked off nonchalantly, attempting not to attract any attention. Chica giggled again and skipped off toward the show stage and Goldy teleported into the kitchen.
"Hey Chi-... ca, she's not here. Oh well, I'll get it myself." Goldy said as he opened the refrigerator. The gold bear grabbed random victuals and tried his best to hold them all. Goldy sat down on the table and ate everything that he grabbed, one by one. A few hours later, Freddy was looking for his brother and couldn't find him.
"Bonnie, have you seen Goldy? I need to ask him something." The bear asked.
"Sorry Freddy, haven't seen him. Go ask Foxy or Chica. I know they've seen him." Bonnie shrugged. Freddy nodded and started to Pirate's Cove.
"Foxy?" Freddy called when he arrived.
"Aye, ahoy thar Fred. Wha' do ye nee'?" Foxy asked poking his head through the curtains.
"Hi, have you seen Goldy anywhere?" Freddy asked.
"No, I haven'. Bu' he coul' be in th' kitchen. Go check thar."
"Thanks." Freddy said before jogging off to the kitchen. When he arrived, he opened the door and saw Goldy lying on the floor with food crumbs surrounding him.
"Hey brother!" Goldy greeted hiccupping. "Hehe, excuse me."
"Goldy! How much food did you eat!?" Freddy cried.
"Only a little bit." Goldy replied burping mid sentence.
"A little bit!?" Freddy repeated looking into the refrigerator. "You practically cleaned us out! Well, not really. We still have plenty left. But my point still stands! Why are you eating so much!?"
"I don't know really, I just felt like eating so I ate." Goldy stated simply.
"But can't you eat with moderation?" Freddy asked in a concerned manner. Goldy shrugged his shoulders and burped again. Freddy shook his head.
"Come on, clean this up." Freddy instructed. "This place is a mess."
"Uughh brother." Goldy moaned in annoyance. "I don't wanna..."
"There are plenty of things that we don't want to do, get up. I want this place back to its original clean state when I get back." Freddy told his brother walking out of the kitchen. The bear turned around at the corridor of the kitchen to look at Goldy, who was still lying on the floor. "Goldy, get up." Freddy ordered his brother. Goldy moaned in annoyance again. Freddy growled at forced Goldy to stand up. The brown bear pulled his brother up from his shoulders, their faces met mid way upside down when Goldy stuck his tongue out at Freddy. "Get started." Freddy ordered, turning to leave.
"Um, brother?" Goldy called softly.
"Yes, what is it?" Freddy replied.
"Uh, when er... you were picking me up..." Goldy shook his hand in front of his face as he spoke. "My face was... uh, in the general direction of your... umm..." Goldy pointed to between Freddy's legs. Freddy looked down and looked back up quickly.
"Oh shut up! Goodness gracious!" Freddy stormed out. Goldy stuck out his tongue again and began cleaning. Freddy exhaled slowly to calm himself down when Rick walked up to him.
"What's up Fred bear?" The teen asked.
"Nothing. Just looking after everyone." Freddy answered.
"I've been meaning to ask you, what are to the other animatronics? Like a father figure?"
"Well, it appears that way. They do seem to look up to me and ask me for guidance occasionally." Freddy thought aloud. Rick nodded.
"Okay so, do you think the others see you as a father figure?" He asked curiously.
"I'm not quite certain. You would have to ask them." Freddy replied.
"Aight, I'll ask 'em when I get the chance. Y'know, you a cool bear Fred." Rick complimented.
"Thank you Rick. You're not extremely annoying when one gets acquainted with you." Freddy said attempting to return the compliment. Rick smirked and walked off. The rest of the night was spent quietly. After Goldy had finished cleaning the kitchen, everyone sat in the dining room to talk and laugh. When morning came, the animatronics were back in their places and the KyouSou animatronics were back at their restaurant. Mike, Rick, and Thomas watched when Mr. Reynolds arrived. Mr. Reynolds came into the restaurant with a sad expression on his face.
"Sir, what's wrong?" Mike asked. The manager looked at the three solemnly.
"Guys, I have some bad news..."
