Chapter 21: Lyndsey Visiting.

Summer break has now arrived. This is a time when Tina can finally get some well deserved rest before she goes back to school to start her 11th grade year. Not to mention she can be with Daffy more often. Anyway, Tina is preping Victoria's bedroom because her cousin Lyndsey will be staying in the Russo household for a month. Tina never knew why, but hopefully she's find out. After an hour, Frank came back from a long drive from the airport to pick up Lyndsey.

"Okay, Lyndsey. Make yourself at home." Frank said.

"Thanks, uncle Frank." Lyndsey said. "Hi Tina."

"Hi Lyndsey." Tina said.

The two ducks hugged each other.

"How come you're staying for a month?" Tina asked.

"Uncle Frank never told you?" Lyndsey asked.

"No, he never had the chance." Tina replied.

"My parents are on a one month cruise in the Caribbean as they celebrate their wedding anniversary. Besides, I wanted to go to Acmetropolis to be with my favorite cousin." Lyndsey said.

"Oh, that's nice. God bless them." Tina said. "Anyway, you'll be settling in Victoria's room."

"Oh, how's Victoria and Michael?" Lyndsey asked.

"They're fine." Tina replied.

After helping Lyndsey settle in, Tina and Lyndsey were in the living room watching TV.

"So how's things back in New Jersey?" Tina asked.

"Things are great. School year's ended, well we all know that. I became captain for the cheerleading team." Lyndsey replied.

"You're the captain? That's great. I know you're gonna rock." Tina said.

"Thanks. How's the volleyball team?" Lyndsey asked.

"Well, I got MVP for the season, but unfortunately, we didn't win the state championship." Tina replied.

"I'm sorry to hear that. Hopefully you and your team will win it." Lyndsey said.

"Yeah..." Tina said.

Suddenly, the doorbell rang. Tina went to answer it. It was Daffy.

"Oh, hi babe." Tina said. "I'm glad you're here. I need your help for a minute."

"Okay." Daffy said.

"Can change the light in the kitchen?" Tina asked.

"Sure." Daffy replied.

"By the way, you remember my Lyndsey." Tina said.

"Yeah, the girl that's dating my cousin. How's Lucas?" Daffy said.

"Lucas is fine. He gave me this pink necklace." Lyndsey replied while showing the necklace.

"That's nice." Daffy said before heading to the kitchen to change the light blub.

"Anyway, some of us are going to the bowling alley. You girls wanna come since school is now over?" Daffy asked.

"You go bowling every Friday." Tina said.

"Bowling sounds fun." Lyndsey said.

"Well, who's gonna be there?" Tina asked.

"Bugs, Porky, Petunia, Pete, Marvin, Amanda, Axel, Wile, Roadrunner, Sylvester, Sylvia, and Tweety." Daffy replied.

"Oh, well I have to ask my mom first." Tina said.

"Ask me what?" Susan asked as she appeared from the stairs.

"Oh, um, can Lyndsey and I go bowling with my friends?" Tina asked.

"Sure, but how you're gonna get there?" Susan asked.

"Well, an old lady name 'Granny' will take us there. She enjoys watching us bowl, plus that me and Bugs do her lawn two days a week. Besides, the Acme Bowl isn't that far." Daffy replied.

"Oh, okay." Susan said.

"What time should we be ready?" Tina asked.

"Around seven." Daffy replied.

"Okay." Tina said.

Later that night, Tina and Lyndsey were ready to go. Tina was wearing a pink skirt and purple polo shirt, although part of her belly was showing. Tina wished she had her other shirt, but it's in the laundry. Tina likes to dress simple, mostly wearing shirts and skirts, not to mention she doesn't like to wear excessive makeup. So she doesn't care about appearances. Lyndsey was wearing hr regular attire. Anyway, Daffy arrived. After greeting, the three ducks heads for the car where a elderly lady will drive them to the Acme Bowl. Daffy introduced.

"Granny, I want you meet my girlfriend Tina Russo Duck, and her cousin Lyndsey Duck, who's visiting from New Jersey. Tina, Lyndsey, this is Granny, she's the nice lady me and Bugs help with her lawn." Daffy said.

"Hello, dears." Granny said with a kind voice.

"It's a pleasure to meet you." Tina said.

"Nice to meet you." Lyndsey said.

"You two looked lovely." Granny said.

"Thanks." Tina and Lyndsey said.

After greeting, Granny drove Daffy, Tina, Lyndsey and Bugs to the bowling alley. After a few minutes they head inside the bowling. While walking, Tina noticed how popular Daffy and Bugs are to the other bowlers and the place itself.

"Nice hair, Pam. Love it." Daffy said to the woman behind the snack bar.

"Hey, Daffy. Hey Bugs." one bowler said.

"Hey!" Daffy said.

"What up, duck!" another bowl said.

"Keep up, those strikes, man!" Daffy said.

"Boy, Daffy, you sure are popular here." Lyndsey said.

"Maybe I should go bowling with you more often." Tina said.

Afterwards, they reached the others.

"Okay, I got the snacks, courtesy of me." Daffy said.

"Hey!" everyone said.

"Hoe delightful." Marvin said.

"That's my cousin." Amanda said.

"ni-ni-ni-nice, Daffy." Porky said.

"Daffy, you the best." Pete said.

"We couldn't ask for a better captain." Sylvester said.

"Well, if McKimson High had a bowling team, we would be winning state championships, and show those rich kids at Avery High School how we roll." Daffy said.

"Anyway, let me assign everyone their names." Bugs said as he assign names.

"It's nice to see you again, Lyndsey." Amanda said.

"Nice to see all of you." Lyndsey said.

After Bugs prep the names, everyone bowled and had a good time.

"So, Bugs, how you been?" Lyndsey asked.

"I'm fine. And you?" Bugs asked.

"I'm fine too." Lyndsey replied.

After a few minutes, Lyndsey was talking to Daffy and Tina.

" Hey Daffy, you know what's up with Bugs?" Lyndsey asked.

"What do you mean?" Daffy asked.

"Well, he looks kinda down." Lyndsey said.

"Oh, he probably had a bad night." Daffy said.

"Who had a bad night?" Amanda asked, who came to them after she did her bowling run.

"Bugs." Daffy replied.

"Oh." Amanda muttered.

"Anyway, it's not rare for him to be down like that." Daffy said.

"Why's that?" Lyndsey asked.

"Well, there are things that Bugs went through that he doesn't want to remember." Daffy said.

"Like?" Amanda said.

"Wait, Daffy never told you, Amanda?" Tina asked.

"Told me what?" Amanda said.

"I thought you told her, Daffy." Tina said.

"I never had the chance." Daffy said.

"Can someone tell me what happened?" Lyndsey asked.

"Anyway, back in my middle school days, Bugs had a girlfriend name Honey Bunny, well, the relationship was complicated because they never kissed, hugged, or hold hands, but anyway, the two hang out a lot but..." Daffy said.

"But what, keep going." Lyndsey said.

"Seven months into the 'relationship', Honey cheated on Bugs after our middle school won the basketball state championship. Bugs fell into a state of depression ever since and I'm still trying to help him out ever since" Daffy said.

"That's terrible." Lyndsey said.

"Feel bad for Bugs." Amanda said.

"I just wanna give Bugs a great big hug right now." Lyndsey said.

"Bad idea. Bugs doesn't like it when we bring that up." Daffy said.

"Oh, okay." Lyndsey said.

"Anyway, let's not talk about it, let's bowl." Daffy said.

Everyone bowl and had fun. Afterwards, everyone heads home. Tina and Lyndsey were now in Tina's room chatting and listening to Michael Jackson's songs.

"Hey Tina, I heard that some schools faces other schools from different states. Imagine if your school was to face my school in a volleyball match?" Lyndsey asked.

"That would be epic. I wonder how you'll cheer." Tina said.

"I don't know, but that'll be something." Lyndsey said.

"Yeah..." Tina said.

A few weeks later, Tina was with Frank at the airport as they are about to see Lyndsey board her flight back home.

"Well, the month is over, time for me to get back home. Kinda miss it." Lyndsey said.

"I'm glad we spend time together. Hopefully you'll visit more often." Tina said.

"Yeah, hope so." Lyndsey said.

"Now boarding Air Acme Flight 234, bound for Newark, New Jersey." the woman said on the PA.

"Well, that's my flight. Better get going before I had to use my wings to get back to New Jersey. Good thing airplanes are invented. Good thing us anthro ducks, or anthro birds, don't have to fly the hard way." Lyndsey said.

"Yeah I know. Easy way to fly." Tina laughed. "Well goodbye

Tina and Lyndsey hugged each other before Lyndsey heads for the gate to board the plane. Afterwards, Lyndsey's flight took off.

"Now, ready for that camping trip next week?" Frank asked.

"Yeah." Tina replied.

That's the end of this chapter. Please review.
