Sam entered Jade's room cautiously. Jacob sat on her bed, smelling her night gown.

"Jacob?"

Sam heard a low growl rumble from Jacob.

" Its the black wolf. That fucking black wolf took her." said Jacob in an eerily calm voice.

"Jacob, we'll send out search parties right away. We won't stop looking until we find her."

"I'm going to kill him. I'm going to rip him apart...piece by piece."

Sam sighed uneasily as Jacob finally met his eyes. Jacob's eyes were an obsidian black with a yellow ring around the iris.

"Jacob, I can't imagine how you feel...but you've got to stay calm. We'll all help to find her. We've got your back! But you've got to stay calm so we can think of a plan.""

"I am calm. I'm going to track him down. And then I'm going to kill him before I bring Jade home."

He picked up her nightgown and smelled it once again, before setting it down gently and exiting the room.

"Jake," Sam started but Jacob walked past him without a word.

"Jake!"

Jacob stopped and turned to face Sam, his eyes hollow.

"We will find her…brother," Sam said, meeting his gaze intensely.

Jacob nodded, but did not seem to possess the strength to speak, and turned to head downstairs.

He felt like he was in a trance as he walked down the stairs, glancing to the left and saw Talia sobbing while Talet and Nana Soli held her. Jade's uncle Manek stood next to her father talking with Charlie and two other officers. Billy sat next to Leah and Paul, who all glanced in his direction. Regi sat on the floor holding Sosimo who was clutching her, crying softly.

"Jacob! Son...where are you going?" said Billy, wheeling towards him.

Jacob locked eyes with his father, communicating a silent determination.

Billy nodded in understanding, as Jacob walked out the front door and broke out into a sprint, phasing once he hit the woods. He let out a wrenching howl that reverberated into the darkness, as the sun had yet to make an appearance. His howl struck at the hearts of every pack member, who knew at that moment, he would never return without her.

A painful silence filled the Pitomac's living room, as the tribal council sat among the pack, and in the presence of Jade's parents.

Some of the pack members were seated or standing around the Pitomacs', with concern marring their faces. Even Leah looked worried, for her pack mate, for she could feel his emotional turmoil. Jacob's face before he left was that of a completely broken man, as tears welled up in his eyes, and his expressions switched between a combination of worry, anger and despair.

"We have gathered here, because we have a serious crisis on our hands. An imprint has been taken by another pack. We must recover her, for the sake of Jacob, and for the pack, for without his imprint, the sake of the pack in the future is at stake," said one of the pack elders.

Talia sobbed softly as Mateo stroked her back, his face hard and etched in pain.

"We will comb every inch of this area, and further if need be. I don't think they've gone too far yet. None of us will rest until she is found," said Sam, before turning to look at Jade's parents.

"And she will be found, even if we have to chase them to the ends of the earth."

Jade moaned, due to a throbbing headache. Elias had knocked her out with some substance, and she reasoned that it must be contributing to the massive headache she currently had.

She struggled against the rope that bound her wrists together, but her efforts were in vain. He'd blindfolded her, but she could tell by the air that they hadn't gotten far, maybe a few hours away, although perhaps he'd driven around to throw her off. Jade's senses had been keener lately, and when Elias scooped her out of the car and tossed her over his shoulder, she could smell the waves as if they were mere feet away. She nearly let out a sigh of relief, were it not for Elias's bulbous shoulder pushing into her abdomen.

"Put me down! Jackass!" she yelled.

"Oh I will babe. Right…now."

He tossed her onto the bed, still blindfolded as she let out an 'oof.'

"Take this off of me! Where the hell am I?!"

"Patience is a virtue..." came his reply.

Jade heard shuffling as she tried to raise her hands to pull the blindfold off, but her hands were tied to a rope attached to her feet bindings.

"Now, let me see those beautiful eyes," he said, pulling down the blindfold.

Jade blinked and then her eyes shifted towards him before darting frantically around the room.

"Where am I?"

"Well, this is my place. One of my places were I like to relax."

She sat on a black and white patterned bedspread, covering a king sized mattress. The room was simply decorated, and the curtains were closed and heavy, so she couldn't see daylight. A few elegant lamps were turned on.

"Now, I'm going to take off your bindings, but you have to promise not to try and run away. And don't bother screaming because no one will hear you," he said, beginning to remove the rope at her feet.

She was taken aback by how softly he spoke to her, which made her more afraid. He was obviously a nutjob and unstable to abduct her like this.

"My family won't stop looking for me. And neither will Jacob. He'll never stop. So you'd be wise to let me go."

He smirked, glancing up at her while he moved to untie her hands.

"I'm not afraid of that pup. Do you really think he can contend with an Alpha? It's unfortunate that the poor bastard imprinted on the woman I want, but he'll get over it. Eventually. And soon Jade, you Will realize that I'm the better mate for you."

"So is this where you bring all the women you abduct?"

He chuckled.

"No Jade. Only you."

He reached for her face, stroking her cheek gently. She pulled away in disgust.

"I know you like it when I touch you, so don't act as if you don't. I can hear your pulse quicken."

"Of course. That's only because I'm afraid of what you'll do next, cabron! So don't touch me!"

"Jade, promise you'll behave. I want you to be comfortable here."

She regarded him warily.

He pulled off the rope, releasing her hands completely, and she rubbed her wrists which ached from her efforts to free herself.

He tossed the rope to the side, turning his head for a moment.

She took her chance.

Jade grabbed the lamp next to her on the night stand and jumping as she smashed it against his head with all the force she could muster. He fell to the floor with a thud and a low moan.

She leapt over him, dashing to the bedroom door and pulling it open.

Sprinting through a rustic living room, she saw the green backdrop of woods through large bay Windows, and as she scanned the room her eyes fixed on what looked like the front door.

She heard shuffling behind her as she bolted to the door, unlocked it and pulled it open, sprinting down a few stairs and down a small driveway before dipping into the woods to the right.

She panted as she heard him behind her, giving chase.

Jade pumped her arms faster, forcing her legs to speed up. She leapt over a fallen log, and cut to the right, pushing her way through a few bushes.

She heard a low growl behind her, and in a flash of black fur, suddenly a large black wolf was in front of her-and she stopped in her tracks.

It growled, moving towards her menacingly as she took a step back. She tried to run in the opposite direction but the wolf leapt in front of her again. She cut back again, and leapt over another log, and fell into a roll down a small hill. Jade jumped to her feet, running with all the speed she could muster. Adrenaline coursed through her body, as the smell of ocean became stronger.

She was near the coast!

She felt a pull in heart as the hope of returning to Jacob and her family drove her to run faster. Bursting between two trees she spotted the blue vastness of ocean behind upcoming trees.

Suddenly, she was yanked back, hard, and fell to the ground with a thud. She glanced back and saw that the black wolf had grabbed her pajama pants by its teeth and was dragging her away. As she struggled to free herself from its grip, she heard a loud cracking noise.

She felt large hands and strong arms encompass her waist, and she was pushed to the ground.

"Stop! Get off me! Hellpp! Somebody help me!" she screamed.

Elias got on top of her, covering her mouth with his hand.

"Shh!"

She tried to bite his hand, eliciting a gasp from him.

"Jade! Stop...stop struggling!" he yelled.

"Never! Get off of me! Help!"

He slapped her across the face, hard, as she recoiled from the shock of the blow.

"Cut it out! No one can hear you! There's no one around for miles."

Her chest heaved as she stared at the unfamiliar, terrifying yet handsome face hovering over her, stunned that he'd struck her. Her eyes watered from the blow and the side of her face stung. He held her hands along side her head, panting as he examined her face.

She watched as a large gash she'd given him on the left side of his forehead healed before her very eyes.

"I didn't want to do that, but you weren't listening. That was quite an escape attempt you pulled. Although I'm quite pissed off at you, I must admit that I am a little turned on. You run quite fast, for a human and certainly have heart," he said with a chuckle.

"Yes...," she raised her chin defiantly. "And that heart belongs to Jacob Black."

He glared at her for a moment, before pulling her to her feet and pushing her back in the direction of the cabin.

"Move it...babe."

Jade pulled one of her hands free, as he held both her wrists with one hand.

"You're hurting me!" she exclaimed, pulling one of her hands free of his vice grip.

"Well you shouldn't have tried to escape. Keep walking," he said angrily.

Jade slipped off a pink bracelet she wore on her right hand, pretending to trip while dropping it on the ground. She glanced at him to see if he noticed but his stony eyes were cast ahead as he pulled her other arm.

When they reached the cabin and he pushed her inside, she stood in the living room with her arms crossed, and noticed for the first time that he was nude.

"Honey, don't try that again, or next time I might not be so nice."

She kept her eyes on the floor.

He shifted on his feet, noticing her expression.

"What's the matter? Never seen a naked man before?"

He chuckled.

"Well of course you haven't. Your virginity is well intact, despite you having that pup's stench all over you," he said, scrunching up his nose.

"Now you get to see a real man, so get your fill. Take it all in, I'm all yours."

She glanced up, and her eyes moved over him.

"I've seen better," she said nastily.

He chuckled.

"Oh really? Well your body is telling me something different," he said huskily.

He took a few steps towards her until she backed away into a wall and could go no further. He stood a few inches in front of her, examining her face while she refused to meet his gaze. He raised his hand to her face, caressing her cheek and brushing a curly hair away.

"Leave me alone. Please, don't..." she said softly, squeezing her eyes shut.

He smirked at first, but halted when he felt her trembling.

"Don't worry Jade. I told you already...when the time comes that I do take you, you'll be begging me for it." His hand moved to her throat, squeezing slightly.

She glanced down and was horrified to see his penis erect and pulsing towards her. He then let go of her, while she gasped for air. She turned her face away and covered her face with her hands.

"Come on, you need to take a shower to get that weakling's smell off of you. "
