Kaname POV.
I watches as my sister suddenly stood up with a smile. I cursed In my head. I knew that look. Se had a plan, that had tons of holes in it, but she would still go through with it.
It wasn't a common look that she wore, but I still knew it. Usually, she thought everything through, making plans for 'in case' and 'what ifs'. These plans though, were ones centered around one goal that had many obstacles, but still would be done without much thinking.
it meant a time limit was present and there wasn't much time to think Out an elaborate plan.
oh well, it was fine with me. Planning wasn't my type either way.
"I'm going to Konoha." She finally said. I watched Itachi's reaction. He narrowed his eyes the tiniest amount. It confirmed what I though. He was still slightly suspicious of us.
"Why?" He asked. I was impressed. practically no sign of suspicion was present. There was only a small edge to his voice, a certain harshness that showed the speaker was ready to attack.
"I need some plants, and-" She hesitated, and then continued. "Sasuke's chakra."
"How are you going to get his chakra from Konoha?"
"I'm hoping they can give me a lead." My sister replied. I sighed. There was one of the holes.
"Let's go, then." I said. My sister nodded, and told Itachi not to come. He frowned a bit, then nodded.
The two of us used Cloudfire and we soon ended up in Konoha. I looked around, before appliying a Henge.
Now, I had black hair with purple eyes. I wore the clothes of a store keeper. My sister copied me. She had brown hair with lighter purple eyes. Pale blue clothes that showed she was middle class.
We were currently on the Hokage's faces. I looked down at Konoha and searched out landmarks. The Hokages building, training grounds, the academy.
"We are going there." My sister said, pointing at a little stand. I decided just to follow her. I had spent my time in Suna, watching the Ichibi. I knew practically nothing about Kurama's jinchurikk.
When we got closer, I smelled ramen. it became apparent that it was a ramen stand. As I got closer, I felt Kurama's chakra. Soon, my eyes found the jinchuriki.
He was slurping up ramen, with around 10 bowls piled up around him. I watched in amazement as he finished the bowl he was on, and then ordered another.
"Old man! Another bowl!" He shouted.
"Coming right up!" The owner answered.
After Naruto finished that bowl, he left. We followed him as he headed toward the village gate. Upon seeing the people waiting, Momiji tched.
"It's Sakura." She said. I looked at the only female in the group. Her arm looked rather bruised. I turned back to look at Naruto, who got into some sort of arguement with another guy whose name was Sai. I listened as the captain briefed them over the mission. Slowly, I smiled.
Wonderful. It seemed that they were going to look for Sasuke. Apparently Sasori had given them a clue about meeting Orochimaru, and Sasuke was with Orochimaru.
The team left, tension extremely high. I summoned Grayback, who then made us invisible. We followed the team.
It was easy to tell that this team had...issues. Naruto was glaring at Sai the whole time, and Sai didn't help by commenting on aggravating topics. Soon, they snapped, and started to fight.
The captain, whose name was Yamato, stopped them by putting them in a wooden cage. I sighed, bored of it all.
Finally, we arrived at the meeting spot. I bit my lip to stop myself from laughing as Yamato 'tuned' his voice so that it sounded like Sasori's. Just imagining Sasori was a high pitched voice was enough to make someone laugh, let along the serious expressions everyone had and the other pitches.
Soon, the spy came along. The two talked a bit before the spy suddenly lashed out with a kunai. From the bushes, the younger team members jumped out, ready to capture the spy. I heard him laugh, and then the spy pulled down his hood.
"Kabuto?!" Naruto exclaimed. Someone chuckled from the trees behind Kabuto.
"Yes. I had long since gotten rid of the jutsu planted on his mind. In fact, I knew Kabuto before Sasori. Today, we planned to get rid of him, but if you're here, then I suppose that he is already dead. I suppose I should thank you for that."
Naruto shook.
"Sasuke...GIVE SASUKE BACK!" He shouted,
"Kukuku. Sasuke-kun doesnt want to go with you guys. Everyone in Konoha are weaklings. Fools. One with as much potenial as him would have gained nothing. Though I am rather interested in seeing how strong you are compared to Sasuke-kun."
Naruto snapped. That was the best way to describe it. He was trembling with anger one moment, and the next thing I know he has unleased quite a large amount of Kurama's chakra.
"Should be stop him?" I asked, forming myself back to normal. I couldn't do anything otherwise. The jutsu was strictly for defense.
"No. That guy over there should be able to stop Naruto." I looked at the captain. He had used Wood release before, so he probably knew what he was doing. Wood release was part of the first Hokage's tecniches, and that guy had been able to stop Madara.
It was rather funny. Those to were, in a way, my nephews. I was their, many greats, uncle.
"I feel so old now..." I muttered. Momiji just looked at me.
The battle between Naruto and Orochimaru was still going on. After just a bit, I knew that I felt disturbed. Orochimaru kept throwing stuff up.
Finally, Naruto was blasted back. I appeared next to him for an instant, and placed a seal on him that would calm him down enough for that guy to handle him, but not enough to be suspicious. Then, I went to see Orochimaru.
I wish that I arrived later. What I saw was Orochimaru coming out of his own body, covered in some sort of slime, chuckling.
Then, Sai came out of the bushes and told Orochimaru that he wasn't an enemy. The two talked and Sai gave proof.
I waited for Momiji. She came, and smiled I raised an eyebrow.
"Naruto hit Sakura." She said. I sighed. My dear sister could be such a sadist sometimes.
"Better hurry up." I stated, before dashing off. Looking back, I saw her fuming.
Soon, we saw a dummy. Momiji rolled here eyes, and began to list reasons why it wasn't medically correct, and a bunch of stuff I had no idea about.
A long chase later, Momiji grew focused. I did too.
Ahead of us was an area filled with hate. Barely restrained hate. Seems like we found the hideout.
I channeled chakra into my feet and controlled the wind. after a few moments, we reached Orochimaru's lair.
Grayback couldn't be used. His power just changed us, but then in the divided state, we couldn't do anything. No moving, no jutsus, no taijutsu, no genjutsu. The ultimate defense, the worst offense.
As we walked through the hideout, it was easy to tell it was not a plesent place to live in. I was pretty sure that the people here would not have a right mindset. Then again, shinobis in general have a different mindset.
To be emotionless killers that do anything without hesitation was not something a regular mindset could do.
I suddenly felt a burst of chakra. We exchanged a look and ran toward the source, breaking a few walls in the process.
14 walls later, we entered a training room.
immediatly, a bolt of lightning shot toward us. I prepared to make a wall of earth, but Momiji brought out a seal.
The lightning changed corse and headed toward the seal, which absorbed it.
"Who are you." A cold voice asked. The tone showed no sign of curiosity, only cold intent to kill if the answer was deemed unacceptable.
"A person you know that is now finished with what I need to do. Now then, I will be leaving. Oh, and be nice." My sister said, then summoned Cloudfire. She appeared the moment Sasuke appeared in front of us.
He swung a lightning charged blade which went through air as we ducked and teleported away.
"I'll make the medicine. It should be finished in a few weeks. Tell Itachi that." I nodded, then went off to find him.
I told him and then walked off. I should start sharpening my skills.
