"The second round of the semi-finals is about to get started, but which team will take on team AoJ and their powerful new monsters?" announced the MC.

"Hi Mr. Jack." Lily said happily.

"Hi there, let's have a good match." Jack said with a smile.

"Yeah, this is going to be really fun." Lily said.

"Duel." said Lily and Jack simultaneously.

Lily 4000 Jack 4000: "Ladies first." Jack said politely.

"Ok, I start by playing these two cards facedown and setting one monster in defense mode." Lily said. "That ends my move."

"Alright, my turn, first off I set two of my cards facedown, next I play my Tuning Magic card, this lets me add my Quickdraw Synchron to my hand as long as I discard the top card of my deck afterwards." Jack said.

"Ok, but that monster is level five, you can't play him yet." Lily said.

"Actually, by sending my Quillbolt Hadgehog to the graveyard, I can summon him to the field without a tribute." Jack said. "Plus since I have a tuner monster out on the field, I can summon my hedgehog back from the graveyard."

"Wait, but that means level seven." Lily said.

"Actually, I can still summon a monster normally, so I play Level Eater, and now I tune all my monsters together. I synchro summon Junk Destroyer." Jack said. "Now when I synchro summon Junk Destroyer, I can destroy cards on the field equal to the number of non-tuner monsters that I used to summon him, in this case two cards."

"Wait, but that's not good." Lily said.

"Sorry, but I'm trying to win. I destroy both of your facedown cards." Jack said. "Now I attack your facedown monster."

"Elemental Hero Clayman has 2000 defense points so he goes to the graveyard." Lily said.

"I end my move there." Jack said.

"Ok, my turn and I start with the Warrior Returning Alive, to get back Clayman, and next I summon Neo-Spacian Grand Mole, and play Polymerization to fuse Clayman with Burstinatrix in order to play Elemental Hero Rampart Blaster in defense mode." Lily said with a grin. "Now I attack directly with Rampart Blaster, but since it's in defense mode, I only deal half damage."

"Alright, but my monster still has more attack points than Rampart Blaster has defense points." Jack said.

"I know, but I attack Junk Destroyer with Grand Mole." Lily said with a smile.

"Why would she do that? Her monster is way weaker." Leo said.

"She attacked because of Grand Mole's special ability." Akiza said. "Whenever it battles, both Grand Mole and the other monster are returned to their owner's hand."

"Oh, but Junk Destroyer is a synchro monster, so it would go back to the extra deck." Luna said.

"Exactly, that's why this is a good move." Yusei said.

"Good move, but I have a trap card, Scrap-Iron Scarecrow, this negates your attack and then I reset this card on the field." Jack said.

"Oh, oh well, I end my turn with a facedown card." Lily said.

Lily 4000 Jack 3000: "My turn, and I summon Junk Synchron, and now I can bring back my Level Eater, next I play a facedown card, and now I attack Grand Mole with Level Eater." Jack said.

"My monster's effect activates so our monsters go back to our hand." Lily said.

"Exactly, but now I can attack you directly with Junk Destroyer and Junk Synchron." Jack said.

"That's bad, I'm in trouble." Lily said as she lost 3900 life points.

"I end my move." Jack said.

Lily 100 Jack 3000: "My turn, I start by playing Heavy Storm." Lily said. "Next I play Fusion Gate, and now I can fuse the three monsters in my hand, I fuse Elemental Hero Sparkman, Bubbleman, and Avian in order to summon Elemental Hero Tempest, and I attack Junk Synchron."

"Alright, but the duel is far from over." Jack said as his monster was destroyed.

"We'll see, I end my turn with a facedown card." Lily said.

Lily 100 Jack 1500: "My turn Lily, I draw, and now I summon Max Warrior in attack mode, next I play Double summon and call Hyper Synchron to the field." Jack said.

"Ok, but those two don't have enough attack points to beat my Tempest." Lily said.

"Maybe, but I can synchro summon a new monster, I tune level four Hyper Synchron with level 4 Max Warrior in order to synchro summon Stardust Dragon." Jack said. "Plus since I used Hyper Synchron to synchro summon a dragon type monster that monster gains 800 attack points."

"Wait, did you say 800?" Lily asked.

"Yes, so now my Stardust Dragon has 3300 attack points." Jack said. "Now I attack with Stardust Dragon."

"I play a trap card, Hero Barrier, now your attack is negated." Lily said.

"In that case I switch Junk Destroyer into defense mode and end my turn with one facedown." Jack said.

"My turn, I draw. I play Skyscraper, now if my monster is weaker than yours it gains 1000 attack points, so I attack Stardust dragon." Lily said.

"Sorry, but I win." Jack said. "I reveal a trap card, Synchro Striker Unit, now Stardust Dragon gains 1000 attack points."

"It does, but that means I lose." Lily said.

"Yeah, but it was a fun match, maybe we can duel again some time." Jack said as Stardust Dragon attacked Tempest Lily lost the last of her life points.

"Ok, I had a lot of fun." Lily said with a smile.

"Well, I'm going to let someone else take a turn, Crow think you can handle a match?" Jack asked.

"I can handle it Jack, I do have some skill." Crow said.

"Alright, you're up old buddy." Jack said.

"Yeah, I'm going to win." Crow said with a confident grin.

"Well, good luck Crow, let's have a good match." said Robert.

"Same to you man, same to you." Crow said.

(Jack managed to win a duel with Lily, but the match is just beginning. Next chapter Crow will duel Robert. As always any reviews or critique is appreciated.)
