ch 21

_April's POV_ ~in the lair~

me and Amber sat on the couch in the lair doing our homework when Mikey walked in.

"hey Mikey"

"hi April"

"are you OK?"

"yea, I just have a small headache, nothing too bad"

"you should get Donnie, he can help"ye

"no!"

"Mikey, I know that headache is worse than you are saying it is"

"no! it's gone now! all better, I'm A-OK!"

"Mikey"

"it's true, I promise I'm not lying!"

"well then I'm gonna get Donnie"

"NO DON'T! APRIL!"

I got up and walked towards the lab but Mikey stood in front of me and tried to keep me from getting Donnie.

"no, I'm fine! please don't tell Donnie."

"I need to, this has been going on long enough, let me through!"

"DONNIE!" Amber yelled.

"Amber! why?!"

"I'm with April, you need Donnie's help"

"What does Mikey need my help with?"

"he keeps saying he's fine but he looks like he's in a lot of pain all the time, he won't admit to it but He's not very good at hiding it."

~time skip~

after a lot of convincing we managed to get Mikey to listen.

_Mikey's POV_

'can't believe they talked me into this, I'm fine, the headache is gone!' then my ears started ringing again 'or maybe it's not gone' I thought as I put my hands over my ears. 'it's getting worse, the ringing is so loud I can barely hear anything around me!' I felt someone shaking me, and I could hear faint yelling. it sounded so far away but at the same time right next to me. Then the ringing started to die down and I could hear what was around me.

"Mikey! are you alright!?" Donnie yelled.

"y-yea I think so"

"you have to tell us what's wrong"

"I don't really know what it is, ever since the night Jade disappeared my ears will start ringing, or I'll get a headache, or my arm or leg will just start hurting really badly. it only lasts a few seconds and then it goes away"

"so this has been going on for 6 months and you never told anyone?!"

"I'm sorry! I didn't want to not be able to leave"

not quite sure that posting every day will work but I will try to make it more often than before. I'll post every day that I have a chapter ready.
