Okay so before I begin this chapter, I just want to say that this one kind of goes into an important factor involving why most of the organization joined up. Now as I said earlier it kind of involves how they were neglected and bullied in the past so they joined it hoping that high school life won't be so miserable. I mainly wrote this because I always see so many new about kids who kill themselves because of bullying and honestly that breaks my heart. I mean I was bullied in past but I was lucky and able to turn around and make people like me for who I am. The important thing is never be ashammed of who you are because the moment a bully makes you think that way, they're won and truly made you nothing. You have to remember that there will be good friends in life and that you will always have someone who cares about you so don't forget that. Now on the other note while I hate letting a bully make you eel bad, I'm also against using violence to get back at them. I know that's weird coming from someone who writes a violent fanfic but hey this is fiction and not real. So never start a fight because that's becoming the person you hate which is the mistake the organization makes.
Also bullying isn't the only part of the chapter just the first half of it about. Later it gets into some interesting things with Roxas as well as meeting a new villiian.
Anyway sorry if you feel like what I said was a waste of time but I felt this was an important topic to cover. Anyway let's begin the chapter please review to let me know what you thought of the new villian that will show up and of the chapter. Let's start this up and I hope you enjoy.
Chapter 21 Xehanort's Secret Plan
"So let's think this over a bit. We have people like that Xigbar guy who just go crazy and attack us. The question is why." Kairi said as all three girls got into Kairi's room.
"Yea but the question is why are they attacking us. I mean what did we ever do to them?" Namine asked.
"Well Kairi and I got Keyblades but from the way they were talking, it sounded as though they had no idea about that part." Xion said. The armors side effects had worn off by now so she was back to acting like her old self.
"Yea so that makes no sense. Does anyone else have any other ideas?" Kairi asked
"Well from what I know Saix seems to hate us for some reason" Xion said
"That's because the dudes an ass whole who has no friends and hates everyone." Kairi said
"True but there are some things that bother me." Namine said
"And what are they Namine?" Xion asked
"Well for starters we all know that the organization was said to be a club for people who were misfits throughout their school life to go and join so they wouldn't be that anymore." Namine started
"Yea that's basically it. It was a club made for the kids in school who were pretty much nobodies throughout their school life. That was how they got people to join." Xion said
"Yea but as it turned out, they were nothing like that. Instead they try to change their members into this weird person that has part of Xehanort inside of them. My only question is why on earth would they agree to that. I mean who would willingly allow some crazy power hungry old man of darkness to become one with them." Namine said as she started drawing out members of the organization and the picture also had Xehanort inside of it.
"Who's that?" Kairi asked as she pointed to Xehanort.
"Xehanort I think." Namine said
"How do you know what that guy looks like? I mean we've never seen him before." Kairi said
"Roxas has seen him but last I checked he was half asleep." Xion said
"Yea I know but still I have a hunch. I can't explain it but I have a feeling in my gut that tells me that this is what he looks like." Namine said
"What kind of feeling?" Kairi asked
"I don't know call it a women's intuition." Namine said as she laughed a bit.
"Okay so say this is what Xehanort looks like, how does this change the fact that he somehow convinced people to gain his power? I mean if you think about it the way you kind of get creped out. I mean an old man with darkness who gives power by putting himself inside of you. That sounds kind of creepy." Xion said
"It sounds like something a damn pedophile would do." Kairi said sounding annoyed.
"Yes but you two make a good point who in their right mind would agree to those terms. Which brings up this hypothesis. What if Xehanort does this to people who are lonely and who have no friends? IF you target people like that then it's a possibility that he does it hoping they'll agree because of how much they hate everything else. Think about it when someone would get addicted to drugs if it's not because of peer pressure, it's usually when a dramatic event comes and they are lonely and they feel like shit." Namine said
"I see so the power Xehanort gives them is like a drug. And the students take it because they want to find something to give them power over people." Xion said
"It makes sense I mean Drymx was always hated because he was annoying and a jerk and Zexion was a bookworm who people never talked to because of how quiet he was." Kairi said
"Yea so because of this these kids probably grew tired of all of the shit people gave them." Namine said
"But I saw both of them in the middle school and with all do respect, they never looked bothered by bullying." Xion said
"Yea I know but they were. There is no such thing as a person who is okay with being picked on I mean have you ever been bullied before. I know I have and one thing I've learned it's that if you ever try to show how hurt you are, it only makes things worse. Sometimes it's best to just ignore it and put up with it." Namine said
"I guess I know what you mean." Kairi said
"I don't, if anyone messes with me then I beat the shit out of them. Of course I only do that to the jerks or cocky people. But sometimes embarrassing them is just as fun." Xion said as she laughed a bit.
"True but not everyone can defend themselves. You're different Xion since you're tough but some kids are either weak or to scarred to fight. That's why they joined Xehanort because they at first believe their only making friends and then they learn more so their more likely to want to agree. The most dangerous weapon is a kid who got bullied and has no way to stop it." Namine said
"True and also maybe they don't fight because they don't want to fight back. I mean some people believe that if they do that then they'll be no better than the actual bully." Kairi said
"True but I doubt that's the case. If it was then they'd leave the organization. I just can't see them joining him if they hated violence." Namine said
"Good theory you have there but there's still a few problems. One you said they join it because they get bullied or had no friends. Well if that's true then doesn't that even those kids who hate violence would join. I mean if you think it's something as simple as meeting new people you'd believe that it had no violence. Why would join a club like that expecting to gain magic powers? Plus I've asked some older students and they said that no one ever quite the club. Isn't that a little weird." Xion said
"I know that and I have another theory. What if Xehanort can also control some people? Maybe he fills their heads with lies and convinces them what to do. Last I checked that's entirely out of the question. It would be like a puppet Master controlling a few puppets." Namine said as she continued to draw strings coming from Xehanort's hands onto each of the organization members as if they were controlling them.
"That's impossible because when Riku and Roxas fought Axel, they told me that he said that he could've had Xehanorts power but choose not to. If he was being mined controlled then he would've gotten the power with no resistance." Xion said
"Well what if it's the type of mind control that only works if you're unaware its happening. What if Xehanort simple manipulates your thoughts and doesn't control you. Like for example he may be able to change the way people view something but the person would believe it's just their own mind thinking this. Maybe he tried to manipulate Axel's minds and Axel realized it so he was able to prevent it from happening. Of course he had to convince the organization that he was still going to be on their side no matter what." Namine said
"Okay so in short Xehanort may not control people but instead he simple manipulates their thoughts. And if they become aware of it then it won't work on them. Well that's all great but are you really telling me that Axel was the only person to realize this. I mean he's not the smartest guy so there had to be others." Xion said
"And there were others. Don't forget about his power. IF Xehanort kills someone he erases their existence from the earth. That means that he probably kills anyone who realizes what's really going on because he knows they'll report to mickey about it." Namine explained.
"I get it now." Xion said
"I'm totally lost." Kairi said confused.
"Okay well let's try to make it simpler for you. Xehanort recruited members so he could secretly get kids who are willing to join him. However most kids would be against just attacking people like a violent animal so they would never want to join if they knew what it was about. So Xehanort lied about the clubs real purpose. Then when people joined the club, he would manipulate their thoughts into believing that they had to use magic for evil and to attack people. If anyone realized what he was doing and tried to quite he would kill them and erase them from existence." Xion said
"I see now." Kairi said as she nodded.
"Yes and I have a few other beliefs. Since Xehanort did this he must've chosen some top men. I'm guessing one of them is that Xemnas guy." Namine said
"That would make sense. He's probably got a few people he can trust the most and made them into higher members. Now the only question is what else is he going to do now?" Xion said
"No idea. Either way we'll just have to stop them." Kairi said
"We know he wants to create a world of only magic users but why and how." Namine said
"Does it really matter he's still a threat." Xion said
"Good point I suppose. If you ask me he's waiting for something. But right now he still knows we're enemies. So I don't get this guy at all. Plus there's one other thing I worry about." Namine said
"And what the hell is that." Xion asked
"Can he turn anyone into having part of himself inside of him? Like for example can he just create it with anyone like you or does it have to be someone who follows special conditions." Namine said
"Special conditions?" Kairi asked
"For starters maybe they have to have hatred in their heart or maybe be lonely before in their life. I think there has to be a reason for why he goes after kids who were outcasts in the past. It just doesn't make sense. If I were him I'd go after the stronger kids." Namine said
"Good point but it still is confusing. I doubt we'll ever get this guy's story." Kairi said
"Yea but who cares, either way we'll just learn it by kicking his ass.' Xion said with a grin.
"I suppose that's the best idea. We'll have to force him to reveal it but it won't matter much since he'll already be beaten." Kairi said
"That's right we have it made especially now since we have a full team. There's me, Kairi, Sora, Roxas, and Riku. That makes five Keyblade holders. We can win this so that Xehanort idiot is going out." Xion said
"You know there are other members on the team right. I'm sure we have Terra, Aqua, and Ventus on our side plus there has to be other Keyblade wielders." Namine said hopefully.
"True so we may get an army on our side. This should be fun." Xion said
"Yea, still this is never how I thought High School would be like when I first came here." Kairi said
"Yea I know. We're caught up in a giant war of magic and fighting. It's ten times better." Xion said
"Whatever you say Xion." Kairi said as she rolled her eyes
"But let's worry about this latter tomorrow. For now I'm tired so let's hit the hay." Xion said as she jumped into Kairi's bed and closed her eyes.
"Um Xion you know that is my bed right?" Kairi said annoyed.
She was responded by Xion snoring.
"I think she's out cold." Namine said as she giggled a bit.
"I don't care, she still stole my bed. Plus she didn't even change and shower." Kairi complained.
"Well it's not that bad." Namine said
"Yes it is, she was in a giant fight today and she doesn't even change or shower before sleeping in my room." Kairi said annoyed.
"It's really no big deal." Namine said
"Whatever, I suppose it's to be expected since she pushed herself so hard today. I can't believe she took that guy on alone." Kairi said
"Yea I can't believe what happened today either. We intended to have a good time but things got so out of hand." Namine said
"It's not our fault; it's that Xigbar guys fault for attacking up." Kairi said
"I know but still I just feel bad. At times I wonder what some of these guys would be like if they never meant Xehanort. Maybe then Saix and Xigbar wouldn't be so bad." Namine said hopefully.
"I really don't know. It's hard to picture them as nice people. But you never know. Still as much as I hate it, they're our enemies now. Even if they were good in the past, they aren't like that anymore." Kairi said
"I know, it's just so messed up." Namine said
"Yea, so is life." Kairi said
"I know" Namine said quietly.
"Well we could mope all day but that wouldn't solve anything. I'm going to take a shower and get changed and then you better do the same." Kairi said as Namine nodded.
Kairi then took her shower and then Namine took one too. After that, both girls got in there night gowns a got ready for bed.
"Should we do something about her?" Namine asked
"I wouldn't, she's sleeping as is in and if we wake her up she'll just get cranky. Besides she looks cute sleeping in a sun dress." Kairi said as the two of them laughed and got to bed.
"I still can't believe Xion ditched us to hang out with Kairi and Namine all day." Sora complained as Roxas and himself were walking home from training in the woods.
"It's not like it matters. Besides would you really want to spend the day with a bunch of girls." Roxas asked
"I suppose that would get annoying sometimes but still they should've invited us." Sora said
"It doesn't matter. So getting on actual important stuff, how much longer till Kairi and Xion get Keyblades." Roxas asked.
"Knowing them it's probably already happened and they don't want to tell us. So do you think Namine will get one." Sora asked.
"I doubt it. Call me crazy but I have a hunch that it won't be her. Whenever I'm with Xion or Kairi, I could always sense something. I never said anything because I didn't want to worry them. I don't get that with Namine. I can tell she has magic but no Keyblade." Roxas said
"Good point and I agree." Sora said as he nodded. "Still how long till you ask her out?" Sora asked laughing a bit.
"Will you shut up about that? Besides I'm more worried about Xion." Roxas said
"And I told you to allow her to do whatever she wants." Sora said
"Whatever man, I couldn't care less. I actually care about our sister." Roxas said growing angry.
"Where the hell did that come from?" Sora said annoyed.
"Look it's clear that you don't care what happens to our damn family so shut the hell up. Unlike you, I actually care about them." Roxas said angrily
"Okay what the hell is wrong with you man. You've been acting angry all day and come to think of it, in training you've been getting very aggressive. You could've have killed me if I hadn't reacted fast enough half of the time." Sora said as he recalled their training match.
"Well you should be able to focus and pay more attention. If you get yourself or anyone else killed then what the hell am I going to do?" Roxas asked annoyed
"You know what, I'm starting to think what Riku said about you was right." Sora said annoyed.
Roxas just starred at Sora. "What did he tell you?" Roxas asked
"Nothing it's not important." Sora said
"Sora tell me what the hell he told you!" Roxas yelled
"He said to watch you carefully because he saw you accidentally use darkness when you fought Axel. He said it could consume you if you're not careful and to let him know if anything happened or if you started acting angrily for no reason." Sora said
"What the hell, you think I'm getting controlled by darkness! How retarded are you" Roxas asked
"At first I doubted it but now I think Riku may have a point. I'd go see him if I was you. He's like an expert on this stuff." Sora said
"Are you fricken serious?" Roxas asked
"Look I just don't want you to go berserk or something. According to Riku darkness is dangerous okay. SO I'm just trying to help you. Besides it's no fun when you get angry easily. I mean your acting worse than Xion did when her-"
"Sora shut up! Forget it, I'm heading home." Roxas said as he walked ahead.
"Don't blame me; I'm not the one responsible." Sora said. Although he tried to act cool, in truth he was growing worried about his brother.
Sora then kept walking but as he was walking, he bumped into a man and he accidentally dropped his cell phone and how wallet.
"OW darn it." Sora said as he stood up. As he got up the man handed him his wallet back and continued to walk away. "Um thanks for that." Sora said but he was a little weirder out since the man had a weird helmet on.
The man simple walked by Sora and then whispered into his ears. "Isn't a little sibling hate wonderful? The thought of family killing each other makes my blood boil you little Keyblade wielder." The man said
Sora almost instantly took out his Keyblade and turned around but when he did, the man was gone.
"Damn it were did he go?"" Sora said. When he was certain the man was gone, he withdrew his Keyblade. "Now I really need to call Riku." Sora said as he reached into his pocket for his phone. He moved his hand through it but he couldn't find it. "Where the hell is my cell phone? Don't tell me that freak took it." Sora said as he groaned and then decided to head home as he prayed Roxas wouldn't be too cranky.
On the other side of town, the masked man was walking while spinning Sora's cell phone in hand.
"Any news." Someone asked him in the shadows.
"You should know considering we are one. Anyway yea that Roxas kid has darkness in him a whole lot of it. It's crazy how much its showing." The masked man said.
"Good job Vanitas. However I am also quite certain that there is another one we could use. Perhaps Sora." The shadowy man said
"Either works fine. I'm sure that idiot is just as vulnerable. So you sure you want one of them as us." Vanitas said
"Yes indeed. I will go and tell Xemnas to hurry up and prepare to strike. We will make our move in about two weeks." The shadowy man said
"Good then I'll have to get Ansem right. Fine by me that should make things fun." Vanitas said as he laughed.
"You seem eager Vanitas." The man said
"You've got to be kidding me. Nothing should be more fun than attacking your own family and killing them. Sora Roxas and Xion, I can't wait to take out my little cousins. Maybe if I'm lucky I'll meet my dumb brother Ventus. IT should be fun Xehanort." Vanitas said
"Indeed my boy and soon you will have your revenge for how those fools got rid of you. Your foolish brother and you went your separate paths when your parents died and Ventus and the pothers never told anyone about you." Xehanort said
"Yes but that doesn't matter because in two weeks we strike. In two weeks, I get to watch as blood spills from my family's bodies." Vanitas said as he laughed to himself.
