The Magician of Suwa: The Beginning
Suwa
"Kurogane-hime! Please come down!"
High above, Kurogane-hime perched in a maple tree.
She rolled her eyes as the pleas turned to threats; other than chopping the tree down, he wouldn't be able to reach her.
A dust cloud arose on the far side of the village, and Kurogane gripped the branch, trying to see who was approaching.
Down below, the retainer was considering sending for Chiyo-sama when a loud whoop preceded Kurogane-hime's swift descent.
He expected her to stop once down, but the princess was a blur as she raced past him.
"Father's returned!"
He blinked, then raced to follow.
