A/N: I hope you guys liked the cliffhanger i left for you C: Well, I know i said i wouldnt update again until the end of January, but I couldnt wait that long, and I guess you guys cant either judging from the reviews (which is a good thing!) So, here's the chapter early. This isnt the last chapter. There might be one or more after this, and maybe this summer, or during march I can get a sequel up (the sequel will be short though!) So, enjoy!

I woke up in a bright, white room. It was filled with large machines and silver trays. I realized I was on a flat bed, no pillows, and no blankets. All of a sudden, the bed started to move, pushing me into a small, dark cylinder. I shut my eyes, escaping the darkness.

***

I woke up again, but in a different room. It was light yellow, with a table at one side of the wall, holding dozens of flowers. I turned my head to see a machine, checking my heart rate. The silent beeping echoed the room. I got up and looked at the white medical dress I was wearing, and the needle attached to the inside of my arm. My head started to spin again, the familiar throbbing burst in my head like a heartbeat. The room started to spin and everything went black once more.

"Bella?" Someone whispered, the voice was familiar too, almost angel like. "Bella… Did you see, she opened her eyes," The voice sighed. It sounded so tired and weak, as if there was some inner turmoil raging through this voice beside me. I wanted to reach out and touch the angel, but I was too far under the water to see, hear, or reach him.

***

I woke up again in the same yellowish room. This time, I could actually open my eyes fully and look out the large window at my side. My legs were stiff, as if I hadn't walked on them for years. I looked out the door to see a bench placed outside the room. On this bench was a man, He was sprawled out on the small bench and appeared to be asleep. Under the thin hospital blankets I could see a head of bronze hair.

Suddenly, a current went through my body, as if seeing the hair ignited something deep inside. All of a sudden, images started to flash by in my head.

I saw him, waiting at an alter in a black suit that contrasted his skin. I also saw a girl, with flowing brown hair, wearing a white wedding dress walking towards the bronze haired man. I realized that the girl was me. But who was this man? I saw in the audience of this wedding, a girl with short black hair, and another girl with wavy blonde hair, smiling and crying. Did I know these people? The image in my head soon changed.

I saw a beautiful island, remote and absolutely quiet. I saw this man again in the middle of the water, staring up at the bright full moon. There I was again, laying my towel down beside a tree and joining him in the water. We both stared at the moon for a while, before I took his hand, and what looked like promising him that everything would be okay. This image quickly blurred as I saw another face. This face was warm, with long black hair, and chocolate coloured skin. His face began to disappear and gave way to a new image.

I was in the hospital again, this time; I could see the two girls that were at the wedding, each pacing outside the door. The bronze haired man sat inside on a chair, looking tired and wary. I could hear the sound of a baby, a sweet sound it was. The man looked up, jumping out of his chair, and came over to touch my sweating forehead. A red faced nurse smiled at me brightly and handed me a bundle of blankets. Inside was a small child, with curly brown hair and green eyes, silently snoring. It was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. 'Renesmee' I whispered quietly in my head. That must be her name; Renesmee. Why could I remember the child, and not this man? I could tell he was important, I felt my heart race loudly every time I saw him, but who was he? Did I love him? My heart answered for me; yes, I did.

The scene changed again, I was now in a bright house. I was sitting cross legged on the floor, playing with Renesmee. She bit on her rattle, and gave me a large toothless grin.

"Mommy," She said, laughing and shaking her rattle. At that moment, a warm feeling spread through me looking at the innocent little girl in front of me. I was her mother.

"Daddy!" She said, laughing and pointing towards the door. I turned to see the bronze haired man and my heart raced again; he was so handsome, and apparently my husband. I opened my eyes and saw the yellow walls of the room again. Was this the same man, sleeping a metre away from me; was this my husband? I yearned to reach out to him, to brush my hands through his hair, to press my lips on his. I also wanted to see the little girl, my Renesmee. I wanted to hold her in my arms and cradle her as she fell asleep.

I closed my eyes again to see one final image. The bronze haired man paced outside a hospital room, the black haired girl behind him with red, puffy eyes. The doctor soon opened the door and he rushed in. I saw myself lying lifeless on a bed, with machines all around me and my arm hooked up to most of them. The man took a seat and sat by my side, refusing to leave. As he rest his head at night to sleep, a tear rolled down his cheeks as he fell asleep by my side.

"Edward," The sound came out of my mouth unconsciously, involuntarily. The name was so familiar; it was the bronze haired man, my husband, the love of my life. The name was so beautiful. Almost instinctively, the name escaped my lips again, and the man outside the room stirred. He got up and rubbed his eyes. Edward saw me looking at him and stared back at me in shock. He got up and ran to my side.

"Bella?" He said, astonished and unbelieving.

"Mmm," I mumbled, not sure what to say. He bent down and pressed his lips to mine. At that moment, everything came back to me, as if I had snapped out of a trance. Edward, Alice, Rosalie, Emmett, Jasper, Renesmee; my family, my everything. I remembered how we first met, our first kiss, when he proposed. I remembered how I was diagnosed with cancer a few days later. Luckily, the doctor had said it was in its early stages and could be removed. Everything was going great, that magical night on our honeymoon; and Renesmee. Renesmee was one of the best things that happened to me. And Edward, who was by my side every single day, slept next to my bed, and even if I never woke up, would take care of me.

"Edward," I sighed, relived and hugged him tightly. When we pulled apart, he had a tear running down his cheek. I didn't want to see him hurt, I felt fine. "Edward, what happened to me?" I asked. I had so many questions, what day was it? Where was everyone?

"Bella, you were in a coma, for a year," He said, there was so much sorrow in his eyes I couldn't bear to look at him and looked down at my hands.

"A year," I whispered to myself. "I love you, Edward." I looked back up at his pained, green eyes.

"Bella," He said again, looking as if he was going to cry. "I love you so much more than you could understand." He took my hand, and sat next to me on the bed.

Outside, I heard the sounds of tiny feet along with someone else. I could hear the giggling down the hallway. Edward got off the bed and smiled at me.

"Auntie Alice… when do you think I can play with my mommy again? Is she still helping the giant elephant in her dreams? Why can't she play with me?" A little voice chimed.

"Nessie, if you're mother isn't awake today, she will be very soon." Another voice answered.

"That's what you said last time, Auntie. You're lying to me!" The little voice countered.

"But I have a good feeling about today," Alice whispered.

A little girl appeared at the door, with shoulder length curly brown hair. She had sparkling green eyes and was holding onto Alice. Renesmee, this was my Renesmee.

"Renesmee," I whispered. Edward took a sigh of relief as Renesmee came running toward me. She hugged onto me tightly.

"Mommy! You helped the elephant; you can play with me now because you're awake. Auntie Alice said you would, and I didn't believe her, but you're awake!" Renesmee spoke quickly at the top of her lungs. I kissed the top of her head as Alice walked to my bed.

"Bella…" Tears spilled from her eyes as I hugged onto Alice tightly. I missed my best friend. "Bella, when this is over, I'm going to take you shopping," She said between sobs. Edward laughed and so did Renesmee.

A few minutes later, the doctor walked in.

"Ah, Bella, I see you're finally awake. Edward, I'm proud of you, you stayed by her side every day this past year. Bella, you're very lucky he loves you so much,"

"I know," I whispered.

"Anyways," he continued. "Congratulations, Bella! Your cancer is gone. Enjoy you're life, you have some very loving friends" He congratulated me once more and left the room. Alice began crying again out of joy, and Renesmee jumped up and down.

"Okay, guys, I think Bella needs some rest. I'll see you two at home," Edward said, kissing Renesmee on the head and shooing Alice out of the room. He closed the door and sat on the bed once again. "Close your eyes, Bella, you must be tired."

"But that's all I ever do, sleep. I've been sleeping for a year, Edward; I'd like to see the sun again."

"And you will. Tomorrow." He said smiling. I closed my eyes as he asked and he stroked my hair while singing quietly to me.

"It's the way that you blush when you're nervous.
It's your ability to make me earn this.
I know that you're tired, just let me sing you to sleep. I know that you're shy, just let me sing you to sleep.

If you need anything, just the say the word.
I mean anything.
Rest assured, if you start to doze, then I'll tuck you in, While you were sleeping I figured out everything,
I was constructed for you, and you were moulded for me.
Now I feel your name, coursing through my veins.
You shine so bright its insane; you put the sun to shame. If you need anything, just the say the word. I'll sing you to sleep." (Lullaby –the Spill Canvas)

His voice was so soft and beautiful; I was soon in the darkness once more.
