Alright, now it's time to put the Ex-Lovers Arc in motion. I know it has been a while since this story has been updated, but I need to keep up with two other stories beside this one.
-Chapter 19-
Fluttershy was outside of her cottage near the Everfree Forest taking care of all of her animals as usual. But she had been thinking about the banishment and exile of John, Crystal, and Ricardo. I just wish there had been another way, she thought as she gave some bunnies a few carrots. They said that they didn't WANT to lie to us, but they were trying to protect us and…. She was cut off as a portal opened up in front of her, causing her to scurry back very quickly into a bush, and her animals to scatter in all directions. She peeked out slowly, being careful not to expose herself. To her utter horror, she saw the dark, evil form of King Sombra step out of the portal, followed by another human. Fluttershy tried very hard to keep herself from shaking. "Welcome to Equestria, Angela." Said Sombra. The human, whom Fluttershy assumed was Angela, bowed. "Thank You Sombra," Angela said, her eyes seemed to glow with a darkened purple glow, which chilled poor Fluttershy to her very soul. "Where is John? He'll pay for cheating on me with that Skittle-maned mare!" Fluttershy then gasped internally in surprise. Th-th-that's John's marefriend, She thought. It has to be, why else would she be trying to destroy John for cheating on her... And she also must be talking about Rainbow Dash, but what are skittles? She didn't have time to figure it out, she knew she had to warn John and the others, but there was only one problem, she had no idea where they had gone. So the only other option, she decided, was to sneak away and warn Twilight and the others without getting caught. She slowly slipped away from the two, using the bushes and darkness of the Everfree as cover. And, when she had thought they couldn't see her, she made a mad dash for Ponyville, thinking and hoping that Angela and Sombra hadn't seen her.
Twilight was in the library reorganizing the shelves in alphabetical order and by genre when she heard the door behind her open and close. "Hello? Twilight?" Came Fluttershy's quiet voice. Twilight looked behind her and saw Fluttershy. "What is it Fluttershy? You look like you've seen an Ursa Minor." Twilight said. Fluttershy let out a silent eep and shuddered. "No, it's Sombra. He's outside my home with another human named Angela. It's John's marefriend, and she wants to kill John and I believe she's also after Rainbow Dash, since she said that she wanted to kill 'That Skittle-maned mare.'" Fluttershy said. Twilight's eyes widened in fear, but also a hint of worry. "We must warn Rainbow Dash." She said, as she headed for the door. Just then the sky outside began to get darker, and started to crack with lightning and thunder. "That's funny, I don't believe the pegusi had a storm scheduled for today." Twilight said. "That's because there wasn't one scheduled." Fluttershy gulped in fear. Even though she wasn't part of the weather team, Rainbow Dash had thought it a good idea to let Fluttershy in on Ponyville's weather for the month, just in case. Just then a female voice sounded out in anger and rage. "WHERE IS HE!?" Fluttershy ran and hid under the table in the center of the library. "It's Angela!" Fluttershy cried as the thunder crashed closer and closer to the library as Angela seemed to get closer and closer to the library, before the door was kicked in with a sickening splinter and crash. Angela stood by the broken doorframe, growling furiously as her eyes glowed a bright purple, and lightning cackled around her. "WHERE IS JOHN!?" Twilight stood strong. "Why should we tell you?" She asked, trying to be brave, but she found her voice was wavering slightly, she could also sense all the anger flowing out of her, mixed in with dark energy that Twilight could only guess was Sombra's. "I don't know. And even if I did, I wouldn't tell you." Twilight said, trying to put on a brave face, but failing miserably. Angela glared at her, before turning her attention to the pink tail, sticking out from behind the table in the center of the library. "Well?" Angela asked darkly, as Fluttershy quivered in fear. "W-w-we don't k-k-know where they went." Fluttershy stammered in fear. Angela nodded, before continuing. "Then what about that skittle-maned mare? The one that I saw John kissing. Fluttershy let out a quiet 'eep' of fright. She has to mean Rainbow Dash. Fluttershy looked at Angela, and was about to speak when she heard another voice call out. "Angela!" This caused the three females to look at the source of the voice. And Angela's eyes narrowed at what she saw.
John, Ricardo, and Crystal were standing (in John's case, flying) in the square of the town, staring at the human girl. "How did you get here?" John asked, looking very shocked at the sight of his girlfriend standing in front of the library. Angela narrowed her eyes and looked at John threateningly. "You… You.. You lying cheat!" She screamed, and leapt up at John. "You don't call me, you don't respond to my texts, and you make everyone think that you're dead for 5 months! And where do I find you!? Kissing a fucking female pony! When you could have CALLED and let me know you were okay!" She screamed as she repeatedly leapt at John, who simply flew out of her way. Ricardo and Crystal looked at each other. "How long have we been here?" Ricardo asked. "No less than 5 days." Crystal replied. "So it seems," Ricardo said, thinking about time on Earth. "So a day here…. Is a month back on Earth!" He suddenly yelled out in realization. Crystal and Ricardo were stunned, even though they had only been gone for less than a week, apparently that time on Earth had blasted by while they were gone. They looked back up, expecting to see John still dodging Angela, but to their surprise, both, were gone. "Where did they go!?" Ricardo exclaimed. "I don't know!" Crystal yelled back, they looked around, before Crystal felt something poke her. She looked down and noticed Octavia standing next to her. "John flew off in that direction," She said, pointing towards the direction of the swamp. "And I assume his girlfriend followed him." She finished. Crystal nodded. "Thank you." She said, then looked at Ricardo, who was looking towards Carousel Boutique, it was only when she looked a bit closer could she see Rarity looking back at Ricardo. Crystal sighed. "Don't try it Ricardo," She said, putting her hand on Ricardo's shoulder. "We have to find John before Angela does, or else." Ricardo looked at Crystal, then at the Boutique, before turning his head and nodding. "You're right Crystal," He said. "We have to find John, he is our friend, and we can't abandon him like the Mane 6 abandoned us." Twilight, who was looking nearby, felt very ashamed after Ricardo said that. "Let's go save our friend." Crystal said as she turned towards the Everfree, and headed in. Ricardo took one more look at Carousel Boutique, and saw Rarity approaching him, he could see the sorrow and guilt in Rarity's eyes. But in his mind, he knew he could stay and set things right with Rarity, his ex-marefriend, the one who hadn't helped him, or he could go and and try to save John, and run the risk of being killed.
In the end, Ricardo went with his gut, turned towards the Everfree, and followed Crystal in. Rarity stopped at the spot that Ricardo had been standing, Twilight and Fluttershy joined her short after. "Do you think they will be alright?" Fluttershy asked. Rarity and Twilight, both said nothing. After hearing what Ricardo had said about them, they had quite a lot to think about.

Well, I know it's been a while, but I think that this will make up for it at least.
I have now just finished my first week of college, man it's a step up from high school.
Poor Rarity, having Ricardo dump her like she dumped him, but I think it's fair, an eye for an eye, if you will.
