10 years after the ending of TVD Caroline and Elena decide to take a break from Mystic Falls, death and the Salvatore brothers. They start travelling the world, starting with Caroline's requested cities: Rome, Paris and Tokyo. As they see beautiful places and things, they learn more about themselves, each other and what they want for their (eternal) life.

My dear readers (the vocal and those silently lurking) I'm sorry if anybody thought this would be a new chapter because it's not. This story is on hiatus for now – I have a heavy class load this semester, need to finish my bachelor's thesis and have to work on top of that. Therefore I'm pausing with writing for now because I'd only have a bad conscience for not updating regularly. I'm also a little blocked on a creative level and can't really put out the content I'd like to.

I just want to thank everybody who reads and enjoys my story and I really appreciate my few, loyal reviewers. I don't know how long the hiatus will be – could be two months or four. However, I'm halfway done with the newest chapter so don't be surprised if it pops up without announcement some day.😊
