Odin sat back in his throne and sighed. "The people, they didn't like Loki's sentence." he rubbed his face and the years fell upon his like bricks from a tumbled wall.

"Who said?" Elvera asked quietly. When Odin did no answer Frigga did.

"Njall." Elvera scoffed

"The one married to Alana?" at Odin's nod she scoffed "Well we all know she's been whispering in his ear." she said distastefully, Odin sighed and continued "I sent Thor to retrieve Loki , I fully intended to let them punish Loki however they saw fit." he stopped and looked at the floor with his piercing blue eye. Frigga stood next to him and patted his hand in comfort. "But?" Elvera prompted softly.

"But the payment for his crimes where too high." he looked at her sadly "they wanted his head." Elvera starred astonished at Odin's display of emotion, though small it may be. She knew now she had been too harsh on the old king; he may have been a shit father in the past, but he was trying to be a good one now. "But you think the people of Asgard will rebel?" The king nodded a pause stretched between them in the empty hall "Then give them what they want." Frigga gasped and Odin glared at her "They did not say they wanted his neck, so they can not cut it." she explained "Also there is a law that any citizen has the right to take the prisoners place. I shall do this at his trial."

"Why?" Odin asked as if he was not accustomed to such kindness with his youngest "Why would you do that?" Elvera smiled and ascended the steps to the throne, she looked at Odin and Frigga "He is my friend." she said simply and took one of Frigga's hands and one of Odin's "And he is not evil. Misguided? yes. Hurt? of course, but not evil never evil." She gave them a smile "I understand what you risked by cancelling the trail. I can see you are trying to be a good father, so on behalf of Loki I thank you." She bowed, Frigga stepped forward and enveloped the small woman in a hug of gratitude and relief, she only just got her son back and was not prepared to lose him again should he wake. "Well." Elvera said as she pulled away "I should go before Thor thinks we killed each other." Odin chuckled at her knowing that like he and her father argued Elvera also argued with him, even more if that was possible "I bid you good day, my king." She bowed again and headed to the door.

The Queen glided to Elvera's side as the guards opened the golden door's. "Would you mind if I walk with you?" she asked and Elvera shook her head. After a while the queen said"You have grown into a Queen already." She noted as they walked through the golden halls, really why did they have to use so much gold?

"Thank you, I have learned much from Midgard." Elvera grinned at the memory of Alice laughing at one of her horrible jokes.

"Thank you, Elva for bringing my son home safely and for protecting him." Frigga paused "You seem to understand him. Well I should not be surprised, you two where always inseparable. He spent more time with you than he did Thor and I" She laughed. Elva smiled as she remembered when Loki would sneak across from his balcony to hers "He's my best friend." Elvera said still smiling. They stopped outside of Loki's room "Good bye Frigga, I shall see you later." Frigga smiled knowing that she wouldn't ,Elvera would not venture out again until Loki awoke Good day child, be well." And she carried on walking to her study in hopes to find a way to wake her youngest son.

Elvera walked to Loki's bed "Had a word with you father, mørk prins. He isn't as bad as he use to be." she sighed and lay next to him "du våkne, Loki" She lay staring at the ceiling wondering what would happen now.
