"Umm, Edward, we're gonna have to call you back."
I end the call and stare at her, wide-eyed.
Her smile is coy and shy; her eyes flicker down.
I grab her chin and make her meet my gaze.
"Did you mean it?"
She nods, her face bobbing in my hand. "I know it hasn't been long, but you're different. We're different. You're so easy to fall in love with."
My lips crush hers; it's deep and meaningful. My kiss returns the sentiment, and when I can manage to stop, I tell her the same.
