Leo sat on the hospital bed. He had stopped sipping slowly and stared at the door. It opened and the woman Leo had caught sight of out side stepped in. She didn't seem to notice that Leo was awake. After softly closing the door and brushing off a few tears that had fallen, she turned to the bed.

"Hi Leo" Tasha greeted, looking at the floor. She then looked up to meet eyes with the boy, staring at her with confusion. "Leo" Tasha stuttered. "Leo!" Tasha exclaimed, she ran over to her son's side and gathered him into her arms. But, as her arms wrapped around him, Leo pushed her away harshly. "Leo" Tasha said, looking at her son with confusion. Leo backed away from her. Tasha stared at her son a moment more before realization came to her.

-Flash Back: From a Few Minutes Before- (A/N: Or you could say the last chapter...)

Tasha stood outside of Leo's hospital room. She stared at the nurse, not believing what she had just heard.

"He's...He's.." Tasha stuttered. "Ma'am please calm down" the nurse soothed. The nurse then slowly sat Tasha down in a nearby chair. "Let me explain" the nurse told her softly. Tasha listened, "Leo has memory loss. Due to the loss of blood and the harsh impact that ruptured his brain." said the nurse. Tasha's eyes fell to the floor, "But you shouldn't worry" the nurse reassured with a smile. Tasha stared at the nurse bugged eye. The nurse's reassuring smile slightly faltered, noticing the tension. "I shouldn't worry?!" Tasha asked loudly.

"Ma'am I didn't mean it like-" "How can I not worry?! He came to the front door one night blood dripping around him! How can I not be worried..." Tasha asked. "Ma'am- "Lena, that's enough. I think I'll handle this now" the doctor said, coming in between the two women. "Yes, Doc" Lena said. With that she backed away and left. "Tasha. We are unsure of Leo's condition right now, he might have memory loss. Leo's be in a coma for two days" the doctor then paused. "But, even if Leo does lose his memory we can work together to help him remember what had happened" the doctor said. Then he Tasha a soft pat on the shoulder.

Tasha's hands fell to her lap. Leo stared at her. She didn't say a single word.

Bree opened the door, and let out a yelp. She had ducked just in time, for Adam had just shot a laser at her. It left a dark mark on the door. "I'm sorry Bree.. I didn't I didn't mean to" Adam stuttered as he got up and walked over to her. "It's okay" Bree reassured.

The door had closed and Bree and Adam quietly sat down on the couch. Bree took notice of her older brother's anxiety. "Where's Chase?" Bree asked. Adam squeezed his eyes shut, his hands coming up to cover his face.

-Flashback-

Donald turned around and flung the door of the van open. Donald then went in, pushed all the chairs down to make a bed and pulled out some equipment. "Adam, place Chase here" Donald directed in a rush. Adam did as he was told.

The older bionic stood watching for a moment, before Donald directed him once again, "Go to the front seat and drive back home. I'll see what I can do" Donald said, staring down at Chase. Adam nodded and shut the van door closed. He then raced to the other side of the van and slid into the seat. Then he started the engine and drove the van back home.

Adam tried his best to get home as fast as he could. But, it just didn't seem fast enough.

Adam drove up the drive way, pass the open titanium gates. Adam quickly exited the car and raced to the side of the van. Adam opened the door, where he saw Donald leaned over Chase.

As light spilled into the dim back of the van, Donald looked up and caught sight of Adam watching. "Carry him in" Donald said. Adam then quickly did as he was told. As he carried his little brother down to the lab, Adam looked down at him. Tears swelled up into his eyes before he stop them. Luckily they had already reached the lab.

"I don't want him to...to" Adam trailed off, looking at the floor instead of his sister. Bree put a hand on Adam's shoulder, "He's going to be fine. I just know it" Bree said, and gave Adam's shoulder a soft squeeze. Adam looked at Bree, and she gave him a hug.

An hour of waiting was too much for Adam to bear. Adam stood up and walked into the lab. Bree followed him close behind.

Behind him the elevator doors opened with a ding. Donald didn't turned around, his staring at Chase, standing in his capsule. "Dad" a voice called him. Donald turned around. "How...How is he?" Bree stuttered as she came up to Donald. Donald didn't answer, and he kept his eyes away from Bree. "I'm trying my best" Donald said. Bree backed away, fearing for the worst. "Please go upstairs, Chase needs to rest" Donald said. "Of course" Adam replied and was about to make his way upstairs when Bree said, "But..Is Chase going to be okay?". Donald turned to Bree, looking at her for a moment. "I've inserted a temporary substitute for his chip in his neck. The electrical current of the capsule is slowly mending it in the inside" Donald explained. "Now.. We'll go and let Chase rest" Adam said. Donald nodded as Adam pulled Bree out of the lab and towards the elevator.

The two stepped in. Adam watched the metal doors close and the lab disappear. As the elevator was making it's way to the living room, "I never noticed that Mr. Davenport had hazel specks in his eyes" Bree commented. Adam twisted his head towards Bree, "That's because he doesn't" Adam said.

Cliffhanger again. That's like kind of my thing. :) Thank you so much for the reviews! You all rock! Till the next chapter my fellow readers, PBL.
