Alright, I have an announcement to make. I'm officially on-board with the whole Sherry/Dean pairing, though I was thinking that it would be better to wait until all the rest of the characters were introduced into the story. But first things first and since I'm really planning to go ahead with this, there are some things I need to tell you people.

First off, I'm going to take things slow between Sherry and Dean because I want to make their pairing as believable as possible and still stick to the way the characters are and how they behave.

Secondly, if maybe halfway through the story you change your mind and think that they should pair up with other characters then I can change the pairings too. But that's only if more of you want the other pairing than this current one.

Now let's continue with the story-

"Son of a-," Dean cursed under his breath as he felt the phone getting pulled away from his grasp and of course it was his annoying little brother doing the pulling, "-bitch."

"Jerk," Sam said without a pause and put the phone to his ear, "Who's on the phone by the way?"

Dean didn't respond. Instead he chose to glare angrily at Sam from where he was.

Sam ignored Dean as he put the phone on speaker. He'd already guessed who it was, "Sherry?"

He was proved right by the voice that replied, "Hey Sam".

"Where are you?" he asked as he suddenly saw Jessica coming towards him from the corner of his eye.

"Dude you're such a control freak," he heard Dean mumbling to him but heard no response from his phone.

"Hello?" Sam began to wonder if Sherry had kept the phone.

I froze with my phone still glued to my ear, but I didn't know how to respond. I couldn't tell Sam where I was going since he would just try to follow me, I could tell him why I'd left and I couldn't tell him when I was coming back since I didn't really know that either.

"Just cut the damn phone," Kat said to me.

"No," I replied stubbornly and kept trying to think of a reason to give Sam and Dean. I knew that cutting the phone and just never picking it up again would be the easier option, but I didn't want them to think that I was abandoning them or leaving them (and the job!).

I was just going to go find out what Klaus was up to and try to persuade Stefan to return to Mystic Falls. I was pretty sure that Elena was all broken up about it. At least she had been when I'd last seen her.

I heard Kat sighing next to me as she rolled her window down, took my phone from me and threw it out of the window.

"Katherine!" I looked at her with a horrified expression as she rolled up her window.

"What?" She asked with a smug smile on her face.

"That was an expensive phone," I almost yelled at her, "and you threw it out the window."

"So what?" She asked indifferently, "It was better that looking at your heart breaking expressions."

"You are unbelievable," I stated, folding my arms and pouting at her.

"Hey that is my signature move," she laughed, "Don't worry, I'll get you a new phone."

"I don't want a new phone," I moaned, "I want that phone."

"Well you're not getting it," she said, growing irritated with my childish behaviour, "There is no way that I'm going back there just to bring back your phone."

I turned to look back out the window and decided that when Kat got me my new phone, I would call Sam and Dean and promise to explain everything to them when I met them. I would tell them the whole truth and not leave out anything in the process.

"Why would she go somewhere without telling us about it first?" Sam wondered out loud. He was sitting in the Impala, next to Dean, while Jess was sitting at the back. They were headed to their house or at least what was left of it.

"Well isn't it obvious," Dean mumbled and Sam passed him a questioning look at that. Dean looked back at Jess, making sure she wasn't listening in on their conversation before continuing, "She wanted out."

Jess, who had been looking out of the window until now was listening intently to their conversation. She was curious to hear what they were talking about and wondered if she was the only one who felt suspicious about her recovery.

"What?" Sam said as if Dean were stating something absurd, "No she didn't." He almost snorted. Sherry didn't want out of the job because she loved it. Sam had seen it in her expressions, in her eyes when they had completed their lady in the white hunt.

"Oh yeah," Dean raised his eyebrow at Sam, "well you got any bright ideas on why she would leave us like this?" Dean saw Sam pursing his lips and knew that Sam had started to consider that Dean's idea may not be that absurd after all.

The truth was that Dean didn't want to consider it either, but there was no other explanation for it and he didn't blame Sherry for doing it either. Sam, his own brother, had walked out on Dean and their father. So it wasn't surprising that Sherry, a girl who he'd only known for a few days, would walk out on them too.

When Dean looked at Sam again, he saw his resigned expressions and realised that Sam had accepted the idea that maybe Sherry had left them after all.

The next chapter is going to be a flashback! So whose flashback do you want it to be? Sherry's-like all the rest of them or someone else's? It could be anybody's from Supernatural or Vampire Diaries.
