Thomas remembers when him and Newt first got together. Of course they had been drunk off their asses, but it had turned out to be one of the best nights ever.

It started off like any other bonfire night. Newt and Thomas sat on a nearby log next to each other talking about anything and everything. Then, as usual, Newt took a swig from Gally's brew, passing it on to Thomas afterwards.

After their third drink Newt was already gone. It wasn't until Thomas' fifth or so drink when he began to feel the effects of the alcohol as well. Soon talking turned to laughing and laughing turned to...kissing? It's still kind of all a blur to Thomas and Newt but they were happy for the incident.

The next morning Newt found himself wrapped up in Thomas' arms, inside of his bedroom. Of course nothing had happened between the two of them the night before, but they couldn't help but to smile at each other as they gazed into each others eyes.

"So…" Thomas started to say. "About last night."

"Yea?" Newt asked, trying to fight a horrible headache.

"I really enjoyed, uh, kissing you." Thomas admitted.

Newt smiled. "Me too. Wanna do it again?" he asked boldly. Thomas laughed as he pulled the blonde closer against him and connected their lips together.

Newt remembers the night he lost his virginity. He had been beyond nervous. Thomas had reassured him many times throughout their relationship that there was no rush. Thomas would have waited an eternity until Newt was ready. He would never pressure him into something he didn't want to do.

Newt didn't want to admit it to anyone, but he was afraid. He wasn't afraid so much of Tommy, he knew he would never do anything to hurt him. But he feared actually doing it. If it would hurt. If he would know what to do and when to do it. He didn't want to seem inexperienced.

Then there was the fear of his body. Newt didn't see himself as good looking in the least bit. He just saw himself as average. Nothing on him was well defined. Mostly just skin and bones really. He feared he wouldn't be enough for Thomas. He wanted to make Thomas happy.

Then of course was the problem of if he would even be good at it. Even with the memory wipe, he was well aware that he had never had sex before. Hell, he's probably never even been with a girl, much less a guy. He was surprised he still knew what goes where. At least he hoped so.

The one thing that him and Thomas had agreed on was not planning it. They wanted it to happen when it happened, they didn't want to set a date and time or anything like that. Newt wanted it to be authentic and real, not forced and awkward. He was happy that Thomas was so understanding of him

Thomas and Newt had been dating for a couple months when it finally happened. Newt was laying in bed next to Thomas who was fast asleep.

But Newt couldn't sleep. His mind was filled with worry and uncertainty.

Thomas must have sensed this because he started slowly shifting around in the bed before opening an eye.

"Newt?" Thomas asked in a deep, raspy voice that made Newt weak in the knees.

"Yea?" he breathed out, barely above a whisper.

"You okay?" he asked, wrapping his arms tighter around Newt.

"Yea…" he said trailing off. "Just had a bad dream." which wasn't a lie. It's what had the boy so worried.

"Wanna talk about it?" Thomas asked as he sat up in bed, dragging the blonde with him.

"You ran out into the maze again." Newt began. "This time I followed you out there. It was me, you, Minho, and this girl…" he said as he tried to remember every detail. "We were all running around in what seemed like circles for hours. You and Minho had no idea where to go, it was apparently a new section of some sorts. Then a griever came out and…" Newt begins to fade off again. "I couldn't save you." he said as a tear slide down his cheek.

Thomas wiped it away before kissing the spot it had landed. "Hey, it's okay, I'm here now." Thomas reassured him. "I'm not going anywhere."

"You promise?" Newt asked, turning his face to the side to look up into Thomas' eyes. His bed sat under the single window in the room, and the moonlight hit Thomas' face just right so you could see all of his features clearly; including his light milk chocolate eyes.

"I promise." he said before kissing Newt's forehead.

But Newt wanted more.

He reached up and grabbed Thomas' face in both hands and lightly but firmly pressed his lips against Thomas'. He felt Thomas smile into the kiss as he wrapped his arms around Newt's waist and turned him around.

Now Newt was straddling Thomas, who now had full access to Newt's delicious lips. Kissing turned into a full on make out session, and before Newt knew it, he was pressing Thomas back down into their mattress.

Their kissing deepened as Newt began to grind his hips against Thomas' looking for some source friction. Thomas moaned as he tugged on the bottom of Newt's shirt. Newt broke the kiss as he leaned back and threw his shirt off, before reaching down and ridding Thomas' of his.

Soon both boys were in nothing but their underwear and Thomas had shifted to lay on top of Newt.

"Are you sure?" Thomas asked hesitantly.

"Yes." Newt breathed out. "I need you Tommy."

Thomas groaned as he leaned down and kissed Newt passionately on the lips again. "I love you."

"I love you too." Newt mumbled as he gave his all to Thomas.

It wasn't as bad as he thought it was going to be

"I think I wanna marry him." Thomas stated.

"Really?" Minho asked. They sat out in the Deadheads, at Thomas and Newt's spot where the two walls meet.

"Yea…" Thomas said as he digged around in his pocket for something. "I kind of have the whole thing planned out actually." he said as he handed Minho a tiny black velvet box. He opened it to reveal a simple silver wedding band.

"Where on Earth did you get this?" Minho asked in surprise.

"Creators." Thomas said with a sheepish smile. "They will give you pretty much anything if you ask nicely." he said as he held up a Snickers bar.

"Woah, what?!" Minho shouted. "I want one!"

Thomas laughed. "I'd share, but I kind of have a thing for these." he said as he put it away. "But between you and me, Gally has a whole stash of Reese's."

Minho just sat there wide eyed. Finally he came back from space, making a mental note to ask the Creators for his own stash of goods. "So when you gonna ask him?"

"Ask who what?" came Newt's angelic voice.

Thomas froze and Minho began playing hot potato with the little box in his hands.

"What you got there Minho?" Newt questioned, walking over to the two boys.

"Umm...aahh, it's um…" he stuttered uncontrollably.

"It's nothing." Thomas tried to save them. "Just a little box he got from the Creators."

"Oh." Newt said, eyeing them closely before sitting down across from the two. "I won't push the subject." was his reply.

Both boys looked at him in surprise. "What?" they both asked.

"I'm not a bloody idiot guys." he said, and Thomas held in a shaky breath. "You guys obviously have some sort of secret I can't know about." Thomas released his breath. "I'll find out eventually." Newt said with a smirk.

Thomas rolled his eyes. "Sooner than you think." he said with a smile as him and Minho shared a knowing look.

"Remember our first bonfire together?" Thomas asked Newt as they gazed into the fire.

"Yea" Newt said with a smile. "I told you about the maze you looked about ready to go open those bloody doors and run in there." he finished with a laugh.

"Yea. I also remember the night you were all over me." Thomas said with a smirk, followed by a wink.

"You started it!" Newt shot back with a laugh. "You had on a tight T-shirt and skinny jeans, how was I supposed to resist?" he questioned.

Thomas laughed. "You didn't look half bad yourself."

"Whatever Greenie" Newt taunted. Thomas lightly punched Newt in the arm, and soon they were play fighting with one another.

As the night progressed on, more and more Gladers began to head off to sleep. Soon only Newt and Thomas remained, standing in front of the ever growing flames, bursting up into the night.

"I love you." Thomas whispered into Newt's ear as he kissed down his neck.

"Thomas!" Newt moaned. "Not here!" he said, trying to shove the boy away. Thomas just laughed as he obeyed Newt's wishes. "Come on." Thomas said as he dragged Newt over to a nearby log.

"This should just be our log." Newt said as he took his pocket knife out of his pocket. "We always end up sitting here anyways." he said as he began to etch his name into the wood. Thomas laughed at the thought.

Newt then handed Thomas his knife and he wrote the name "Tommy" into the wood. Then he drew a heart around their names for good measure.

"How bloody cheesy." Newt laughed as he placed a soft kiss on Thomas' lips. Thomas smiled into the kiss as he ran his hands through Newt's hair, pulling him closer to him. Newt wrapped his arms around Thomas' waist, pulling him even closer. But then Thomas pulled away.

"Not here." Thomas replied, a small smirk on his face.

"Shuck Tommy." Newt said breathlessly as he pulled away. He instead placed his head on Thomas' shoulder and closed his eyes. He reached his hand out until he found Thomas' and gently squeezed it in his.

They sat there in silence for a while as the night continued to drag on. Thomas would occasionally place light kisses on Newt's forehead or cheek. Newt had begun to doze off when he felt Thomas playing with his hand. He ignored it for the most part, until a little while later, when he began playing with his finger.

Newt, being the curious type, decided to see what Thomas was up to.

He didn't expect to see a ring on his finger.

Newt didn't register it at first. He kind of just looked at it then closed his eyes again, willing himself to go back to sleep. But then something in his mind clicked and he jumped a good ten feet into the air.

"Tommy…" Newt trailed off as he looked down at his finger.

"Yes…" Thomas asked, unsure of where this was going to go.

Newt kind of just kept staring at the ring for a while before smiling. "So...is there going to be a long speech, or are you just going to assume my answer is yes?" he asked, looking over at his possible fiance. Thomas smiled.

"I didn't really have anything planned." Thomas said with a sheepish smile. "All I know is that I love you very much and I would have nothing without you. That and I would rather not get down on one knee. I just washed these jeans, I'd rather not get them filthy with dirty." he replied with a smirk.

Newt just rolled his eyes as he leaned over and kissed Thomas passionately on the lips. He managed to climb into Thomas' lap, trailing his hands all over Thomas' body.

"So is that a yes?" Thomas breathed heavily.

"What the bloody hell do you think?" Newt asked before pecking his lips softly. "Now are you going to keep asking me questions, or are we going to go celebrate?" he asked before starting to leave a trail of love bites down Thomas' collar.

Thomas didn't even reply as he picked Newt up from around the waist and carried him over to their special spot to celebrate their new relationship status.

A/N: Is it wrong that I'm that stereotypical girl who wants the guy to get down on one knee and give a speech about his undying love about me?

Just making sure I'm not alone here…

Anyways, hope you liked this! I keep worrying I'm going to run out of ideas and then I some how miraculously think of a new one! So let's just hope that keeps happening, especially since now I get another week to brainstorm ideas :)

Hope to see you next weekend, and have a wonderful week!
