Chapter Twenty-one:

Father vs. Son.

Harunos against each other.

"I believe what I had done to them is none of your concern. If you know what is best to you or wish to keep living then I suggest for you to step aside. If you don't then I will-" Liam was cut by a voice that was a softer and more gentler than Liam's. "Or what Father? Do to him what you done to my bother?" Joseph looked behind him to see another Roxas standing there. "Ro-Roxas!?" Liam said surprised "How did you-" he was cut off again. The real Roxas walked to the side of Joseph "My dear brother" that's all he said. Joseph looked at to people standing. "None the less" Joseph said "You are not taking Sakura. Not on my watch" Roxas nodded. Liam laughed "so you think you can save her?" Roxas spoke up "We don't think we can. We know we can" Roxas got into a fighting stance "Joseph please go inside and tell the rest of everyone of who he really is. I will stay here and fight him. I will not have my bother's actions in vain." Joseph quickly nodded and quickly ran inside. After the door closed Roxas blocked it. "Liam Haruno you been using my identity all this time. Exactly what did you think you'll be able to do with that?"

"Quiet! I was close to killing that girl. She was trouble to find and did cost many 'shadows' in trying to find her. But now you have to show up" Liam told Roxas clearly unhappy. Roxas gave out a sigh as he shook his head. "Still the mean person I see. I feel sad that I will have to defeat you and that the family is no longer together. And why? Because you can't take the fact that Sakura-sama is-" Liam cut him off. "Don't you call her that" Liam said getting angry. "She isn't even qualified to even use the family secret justus" Liam said with his hands into fists.

"I beg to differ she already summoned a 'shadow' on her own. And as long I am concerned she is more than qualified to be the leader." Roxas said confidently "I saw it with my own eyes. I could tell she did it without confidence and that means she is will be stronger than any Haruno from before." Roxas smiled. "Just a matter of time before she-" Liam cut up Roxas by kicking him to the side. Before Roxas got a chance to stand up he was grabbed and thrown across the street. "This time i'll make sure you do stay dead." Liam charged at Roxas with his kunai in his hand ready to stab him. Roxas moved out the way and stood up to block another attack. After pushing him off he ran to the other side of the road and quick made a hand sign. More 'shadows' appeared all ready to defend mostly than attack. Liam just stood there laughing to himself ,his red eyes showing, upon seeing these eyes made Roxas uneasy but even so he had a person to protect and with that reason he did his best to protect himself from all the blows his father at him. With now only one 'shadow' left from the five summoned 'shadows'.

"You need to believe me" Joseph told Claire as Yumi sided with her. Sora was already convinced and was with Joseph. With all the talking the adults woke up a certain child. Sakura rubbing her eye came down to the living room to see them yelling. Quietly the little girl stood there trying to understand what was going on. She listen how her uncle spoke of her father. He spoke ill of him and she didn't like. Wanting to see the truth the little girl walked pasted them to the front door. As she reached out to open it the door swung open. Revealing Roxas with red eyes he looked down at the little girl. The adults from behind her yelled out her name as they went towards her but even so they weren't quick enough. The red-eye Roxas grabbed Sakura and started to run with her. While she was being taken Sakura looked to see another Roxas on the ground, motionless as they got further away. At that second she knew she had to get away from this man, who wasn't her father. She saw how Yumi, Sora, and Joseph were running after them jumping on the roof tops of the village. She couldn't see where the man taking her was heading seeing it was dark outside and as time would have it, the clouds were passing by therefore covering the moon for minutes before letting it's light shine down for a couple a seconds before it was covered for another couple of minutes.

Then they stopped and the man put her down. It seemed that they lost everyone within the village. Sakura wanted to run away to save her self but she could tell that if she did that was her last step. She looked at the man with eyes that had fear written all over. "You given me a lot of trouble." the man said as he took a step towards her. On instinct the girl stepped back but then the man shoved her back causing her to fall back on the ground. "I'll make this quick" The man said while holding a kunai in his hand. He raised it up towards Sakura as he swung it down the girl let out a scream of fear as she used her hands to cover her self.

Quickly Gaara looked up from his bed he felt something. He quickly got out of bed and went to the window and looked outside. He felt something was wrong and it was strong. He saw a few dark figures in the distance jumping from roof top to roof top. He looked closely to see that he recognized one. Sakura's female guardian. At that second he knew his flower was in danger and quickly left his home. Upon exciting his home he looked around to see where his flower could be. Then the voice inside him spoke up.

"Kid, She's in the corner part of the village" Without question Gaara followed the demon's instructions. He still didn't understand why it was helping him save Sakura. Perhaps it really got soft on her seeing she showed no fear being around it host or when it uses his sand. Either way Gaara didn't mind as long it helped him save his precious flower. Gaara was running to the last turn when he heard a scream. When he turned around the corner he saw a man that had the same looks as Roxas but his eyes were red, holding a kunai. But his hand which held the weapon was blocked. Gaara looked to see what blocked the attack to see a second Roxas but with human eyes and behind him was his flower. 'Sakura' Gaara thought to himself. He saw how frighten she was and if anything that angered him his thought were interrupted but the normal Roxas ,who called out to Gaara, "Gaara! Please take Sakura to a safe place! I'll try to hold him off for as long as I can"

The little boy ran to his flower and quickly got her out of there. The two kids ran down the street holding each other hands for their life with Gaara head of them seeing he was leading the way. When they stopped running at a corner with two ways he looked at both deciding which of them was the best. He though quickly in which was the safest for her. He could feel his flower's hand trembling he looked behind him to see Sakura shaking. He wanted to comfort her but it wasn't the best time. He knew that if he didn't get her out of here then it was a great chance that he wouldn't be able to comfort her. With his mind made up he took the right turn running again as fast as they could with the help of moonlight to light their path. They stopped running once more seeing there was another split but this time one of them leads to a dead end. Gaara tried his hardest to remember which one it was that wasn't the dead end. He felt his flower hand tremble and in comfort he tighten his grip. Before he was able to take a step forward. A figure with red eyes blocked the path he was going to take with no other option he turn the other path and only hoped it wasn't the dead end.

"You can run but you can't hide." the kids heard from behind them. Gaara looked ahead to see a wall blocking their path. The took the path they wanted to avoid. Gaara quickly looked behind them to see the man walking towards him with those red eyes. The little boy stood in front of Sakura as he wrapped his arms around her in a protective hug. He kept watching the man walk to them as he stopped at 2 yards away from them. Gaara's grip tighten on his flower as the man only watched their every move. Sakura hid in Gaara's hug and the sand started to circulate around the kids.

'No. I won't lose her... I refuse to have her taken away. She's my precious flower and she's here to stay!' Gaara thought to himself as the man came forward to carry out an attack.

Hello. Sorry if I took so long in posting a new chapter. Well here is another the next one might be the last one. But the last one from when they are kids. I have decided that I am doing a part two to this story when they meet when older but that's only if you would like me too. Well then I hoped you enjoy this chapter. Bye-Bye.
