Prior to what had happened in Moscow, tension built in Gilbert's house. Ludwig and Alfred stressed themselves with work and a workload that appeared two or three papers manifold from the usual. Gilbert was justly worried for they haven't been talking to him too. They don't go out of their room. If they would, they would just go out when it's time to work or when they'll leave for an activity that has to do with work outdoors.
"Allistor Kirkland….Allistor Kirkland is my brother! He is my bloody half- brother…that has taken away the money I should've received from my father."
Gilbert is strolling in the park not too far from the Beilschmidt's manor. He needed fresh air.
He always remembers what Alice said. Maybe there is more to her than cash and luxury… he thought. A small gust of wing made his silver locks dance with the air, his polo's collar's flaps, moving against the wind. Slicking his hair back, the albino made a look of disappointment.
There was a brunette wearing a short skirt in front of him and when the winds came, it wasn't strong enough to lift a few fabrics up.
We shouldn't forget the hypothetical personality of his. Gilbert has been stressed since he stopped drinking with his brothers. Drinking was in their blood.
Alice's P.O.V.
I can see the faint blue of the ocean when I look into his eyes and a land of wheat when I see his messy hair. I cannot believe what I have just seen. It was my brother. It was Peter.
Without hesitating, I run to him and wrap my arms around him. He did the same. I could feel my shoulder getting wet under all the cloth. "P-Peter…how have you been?"
He did not respond. Instead, he started crying loudly. I would do the same, but I can't. I just can't. I should be a good example and must stay strong.
"Alice! I missed you… I hate you for not coming back for me! What took you so long?" He smiled a bit. I could say even though I have disappointed him, I think he is happy to see me.
"Peter… "That was all I could say. I missed my little brother. We may not be linked by blood but my heart has loved him too much already…too much that I treat him like my brother.
Braginsky Residence Arclight, Berlin, Germany
"Doesn't Ivan live here?" Alice suddenly asks. She had to break the silence.
Natalia sips her earl grey tea and sets it down on a little glass plate, moved it to another side of the wooden table and finally turned to Alice. "He does not. This is the Arclight. It is Braginsky land but it's only me that's here—and Peter of course. Big bruder lives in the Haven; the main residence of the Braginsky's where he lives with my older—not blood-related—sissy sister. I hate her."
Alice looks at Peter again. He didn't look like he wanted to chat at all.
"Wow…how many houses does your family own?"
Natalia looks at her covered slender fingers and looks at Peter. "I can't count it. There's the Arclight, the Haven, the Void, the Darren—"
"Peter…please talk to me." Alice sighs.
Natalia knew what was happening. She got updated with Lovino's gossip about the issue from Ludwig. And now, as bad as she is in managing a family, she didn't know the right button to press. "Peter. You and Alice should really talk. If you have a problem, let's talk about it."
"Allistor."
"—Huh?"
"Alice…Allistor swore that he would find you and take you away! We were penniless—poor—a few weeks after you left! Now he said that he needed you again! Don't go back to that bad place! Don't let me go back there! I hate them…"
Alice couldn't say a word. Only her eyes spoke. They widened in surprise.
"Peter…" Natalia started. "What else did they do?"
"Dylan…Dylan… wanted me gone."
Certainly, Alice knew that her past is haunting her. She could never escape it. Time to time, a new secret gets to be known and sinister plans are being anticipated. What does Allistor want? Is he really willing to accept her back again? Is Alice emotionally prepared to face the three?
Can Alfred's family adjust to this? How will they react when they know the truth?
When two worlds that shouldn't cross collide, lies become the truth and the truth gets covered up by lies. A lot of reactions are on hand, though not so many questions are ready to be answered.
A/N: A prologue is short. I'm sorry that this is not that detailed but I couldn't give away a lot of info. I know that I might be flooding your mind with questions and such but it will soon fall into place, aru! So...stay tuned.
