Chapter 21
"AHH!"
Gaara lifted his head up quickly and frantically swirled his head in an attempt to find who had just screamed.
Sasuke frowned and looked at Gaara, worried. "Did you hear that?"
"Yeah."
Sasuke stood up and walked to the entrance of Naruto's tent. He peaked his head outside and looked around. Gaara pulled Sasuke back and stepped outside.
"You stay here, Sasuke." Gaara told him. Sasuke shook his head.
"I'm coming too."
Another scream sounded through the air. Neji and Sai poked their heads out, worry in their eyes.
"He sounds like he is in a lot of pain," Neji observed as he walked out of the tent. "Have you located where the screams are coming from?"
"Not yet, give me a moment." Gaara instructed. He waited for another scream. Once it came and went Gaara took off in a direction followed by his Master's other submissives.
Gaara stopped in an empty field and looked around desperately.
"Over there!" Neji ran over to a nearby tree where a young blond submissive sat clutching his swollen stomach.
Gaara's eyes widened. He ran after Neji and kneeled next to the blond boy. "He's in labor." Gaara stated.
The boy in his arms yelled in pain and clutched Gaara's shirt.
"Where's your dominant?" Gaara questioned.
The blond waited for the pain to pass before pointing in the woods. Sai and Sasuke followed his finger and gasped. In front of them were three dead corpses.
"What happened?" Sasuke demanded. "There are three dead bodies over there."
Gaara shook his head. "Not now, we need to get these cubs out of him."
The blond boy shook his head, "it hurts." he whimpered. "I can't do this."
Gaara stared him straight in the eyes. "I know you can. You have too. For your children."
Blue eyes met Gaara's green ones. He nodded and allowed Gaara to position him in a birthing position.
The blond screamed as he bared down.
"Good job, one more push," Gaara told him. The boy complied and slumped down as the cub left his body.
Sasuke took the child and frowned, "she's dead."
The blond boy let out a cry at that. He knew that the chance of his children surviving was slim but it still hurt to hear that his first child didn't make it.
He bared down as he felt the next baby. This one was handed to Sai.
"He's dead too." Sai said sadly.
"No," the blond boy cried. He yelped as he felt the last one. He waited until it was the right time before he pushed.
Gaara handed the last child to Neji.
Neji shook his head, "She's dead. I'm sorry."
The blond boy didn't say anything. He collapsed in Gaara's arms and cried until he passed out from exhaustion.
Gaara stood up and cradled the boy close to him. "You three bury the bodies. All six of them. I'm going to return to camp and talk to Naruto. He's probably worried sick right now."
The three submissives nodded and disappeared into the woods. Gaara adjusted the blond in his arms and sighed. He wasn't bleeding too badly. Gaara would be able to clean and patch him up at the camp before the other arrived and hopefully make him something to eat before he wakes up.
"Where did you g-," Naruto trailed off when he saw Gaara holding a bleeding submissive. "Is-is that, no it can't be." Naruto whispered. He shook his head and motioned for Gaara to follow him. "Is Sasuke, Sai and Neji with you?"
"No, I have them burying the dead bodies. He gave birth to three cubs but they all died. We found his dominant and his master's other submissives dead nearby."
Naruto was silent for a moment before nodding. He took the blond from Gaara's arms and ran ahead. He stopped in front of the lake and began cleaning the boy up.
Gaara began patching the boy up. Once the duo was done Naruto stood up. He draped his jacket over the boy's naked body and held him close to his chest.
"Gaara, get Haku, Yagura and Utakara out of the tent. Start cooking and get the boys training. I want no one to disturb this boy, am I clear?"
"Yes Master, but if I may ask, who is this boy? You seem to know him?"
Naruto was silent for a moment. "I'm not sure but I think this is Temujin."
Gaara's eye's widened, "You don't mean-?"
Naruto nodded, "that's exactly who I'm talking about. The Prince of the Immortal empire. It's said that his first dominant child would be king."
Gaara frowned, "why is he here?"
"Your guess is as good as mine."

Kirito (SAO) slumped to the ground, exhausted. "Finally, we're here." He pouted and cuddled against his Alpha. Klein (SAO) chuckled and rubbed his back.
Sion(LLH) stood tall while all the other submissives and children sat down to rest.
"They said they would meet us here." Sion said looking around.
"Maybe they forgot?" Ren (Utapri) said.
Takeda (Kenichi) sighed and stood up as well. "While we wait I'll find us some water."
"Don't worry, we didn't forget you."
The submissives looked up at the blue haired dominant that entered the clearing.
"Geez, how did Naruto manage to get so many fine subs?"
"He isn't our official Dominant. He just takes care of us and makes sure we can live a peaceful life." Sion said as he walked up to the man. "My name is Sion. I am the Alpha of this group."
"The name is Grimmjow. Come on. Is everyone here? We aren't that far."
Sion nodded and motioned for the other submissives to follow him.
"Sion!"
Sion barely had enough time to react as an energetic blur of red hair flung itself in his arms. Sion chuckled and rubbed Gaara's head. Gaara giggled and smiled.
Sion frowned, "What's wrong?"
Gaara looked over to where Naruto was standing guard over his tent. "Nothing."
Sora ran up to Gaara and smiled. "Nice to meet you." he said, holding out his hand. Sion smiled and shook his hand.
"You know, I have never met an Neko Submissive before. You are as cute as they say."
"Sorry about him, he hasn't had his lunch yet."
Sora yelped as Riku lifted him up and cradled him to his chest.
"Don't flatter him. He gets really clingy." Riku warned before walking away with Sora attached to his neck.
"I'm hungry Sion," Tiir (LLH) said, pouting. Sion smiled and rubbed his head.
"We can cuddle later Gaara. I need to make these guys lunch first."
Gaara pouted but nodded anyway.
Sasuke and Neji walked up to Gaara expectantly.
Gaara nodded, "your food is in the tent. I'll ask Naruto to get it out of the warm water for us."
Naruto heard him and nodded. He disappeared into the tent and reappeared moments later with a basket.
"How is he?" Gaara asked.
Naruto frowned. "He seems to be recovering from the birth quite well but I'm still worried. Hopefully he wakes up for lunch while everyone is still distracted with the new arrivals."
Yagura, Haku and Utakara looked at Naruto confused. "Whose in the tent?"
"You'll find out soon enough. Now come here and eat something."
Haku nodded and climbed into Naruto's lap.
Naruto just sighed. Why was the prince here?
