So Many Interruptions

Ostara jerked and turned to the body standing behind them. The boy was someone she hadn't met before, but his eyes were the ones that had caught her's the night before. But as she observed him, she felt as though something was wrong. They were just a little too brown, or his face was a little too round. Something was off about his face, and a headache grew as she tried to figure out what it was. Her palm flashed with heat, and then she realized that it wasn't so important.

The boy smirked at Albus. "Potter."

Ostara turned to find a frown on Albus' face. "Malfoy."

Her headache was back. There was something wrong about their voices. Something wasn't the way it should be, and she couldn't keep from grabbing her head and groaning in pain. She vaguely heard Albus and Lyra asking if she was okay, but the pain wouldn't go away. She was trying to figure out why she felt as though something was wrong. Than the Sorting Hat's words came to her; You have memories that are almost gone. Was this feeling because of whatever memory she was forgetting?

She felt to hands grab her cheeks and lift her head. She found herself staring into Odder's eyes. "Let it go Miss. It will make the pain go away. Odder promises." Ostara didn't want to let this confusion go. She wanted to solve it, but the pain was growing worse and she wanted the pain to go away more, so she took a deep breath. A flash of heat one her palm, and than the headache was gone.

"Thank you Odder."

"Of course Miss." And Odder disappeared with a 'pop'. Looking up, she found the entire hall looking at her again. Moment's later there was a hoot, and she lifted her arm just in time to catch Nephthys. The owl dropped the package she was carrying and made her way to Ostara's shoulder before hooting softly and falling asleep. Ostara laughed and pet her pretending-to-be-asleep bird. She than caught the eyes of the two boys still staring at her. "What?"

"You are full of mysteries Ostara." Albus said with a confused smile.

The other boy who Albus had called 'Malfoy' scoffed. "The rumors are true though aren't they?"

Ostara stiffened. Albus frowned at Malfoy "What rumors Malfoy."

"That she looks exactly like the Weeping Willow." Before she knew what she was doing, Ostara was on her feet with her wand pointed at the boy. Nephthys was flapping her wings to keep balance on her shoulder, and the stones beneath her feet shook with anger. Using the stones as guidance Ostara spoke to the boy.

"I may look like this Willow everyone talks about, but I am not her. Willow was..." She paused as she tried to give words to the emotions the castle was filling her with. "... a poor bystander. She didn't deserve half of what she went through."

There was a gasp behind her. No longer surprised at the new additions to this confusing morning, Ostara turned to find Professor Longbottom standing behind her. No doubt he had come because she had pulled the wand on Malfoy, but he was staring at Ostara with shock. "I thought you didn't know Willow." The Professor asked.

"I don't!" Ostara was quick to reply, unwilling to be connected to that name again. "It's just what the castle told me." There was a snort and Ostara turned back to Malfoy. "What is your problem Malfoy?"

"The castle doesn't talk. The castle is a castle."

Used to that type of disbelief from Sinistra, Ostara ignored the comment and turned back to Professor Longbottom. He was now smiling at her as though she was a small child. Anger flooded her. Anger she didn't realize she possessed. Pointing her wand at herself she began to mutter a spell she didn't recognize. Those that had been watching her all blinked and began to look around, as though searching for her. The castle informed her that the spell had made her and her owl invisible. Pleased with that result, Ostara turned to leave but paused. She needed a way to rid herself of this anger. Reaching down, she grabbed Albus and he looked at her in surprise. The others didn't notice his disappearance, but Ostara didn't care. She grabbed the boy's arm and pulled him out into the hall. She walked until she found an empty corridor, one that made her feel safe, before turning to Albus and releasing the spell. Nephthys flew off without a sound.

Gulping, she caught his eyes. "Please kiss me again." He paused, and Ostara's stomach dropped. Ostara immediately wondered whether he would want to kiss her again. Maybe last night had been a one time thing. She felt her anger quickly turn into embarrassment and she took a step back. But he stepped forward and kept walking until her back was pressed against the wall between two windows. Leaning forward he whispered. "I would love to." Before pressing his lips to hers. The moment he started to kiss her, she felt her emotions calm down. All she felt was him. He nibbled on her bottom lip, as he lifted her legs to wrap around his waist. She wrapped her arms around his neck, and he deepened the kiss even more. She felt a ridge rub against her, and there was no doubt as to what it was. Her head tilted back and she groaned. He immediately began to kiss down her neck, and he spoke between each kiss. "So Mysterious. So beautiful. So real. So delicious." over and over again. Both of his hands were on her buttocks, pulling her closer and to him as he continued to rub against her.

Another throat clearing interrupted them, and Ostara turned to the voice with an angry growl. She found Albus' brother standing there looking highly amused. Again Albus put his head to her shoulder in frustration, but he held still, her legs around his waist. Despite the interruption, he had not wavered. Ostara felt a new anticipation fill her, but it would need some more privacy then this. "What do you want."

The boy didn't even waver just grinned a little more. "I was trying to find my brother to let him know that mum sent a package with some chocolate to share between us. But I seem to have found my brother otherwise occupied."

"You are darn right I am occupied James. So go away." Albus bit out from around Ostara's neck, where he was placing little kisses and driving her mad.

"So I assume you don't want any of the chocolate." Albus only growled in response. James Potter chuckled. "Wait till I tell Dad what you were up to the day after arriving!" This time Ostara growled. The boy was not getting the point.

"Go away now." She told him. She would have pointed him the direction, but she didn't want to remove her hands from Albus' hair. He must have finally gotten the point because he turned to walk away, but right as Ostara was turning back to Albus he paused. "Oh yeah, and McGonagall is headed this way." Chuckling, James continued to walk.

Albus groaned. "We can't continue here if she really is on her way. We'll lose points before classes even start." Slowly he lowered Ostara down, and she held onto him when her watery knees touched the stone. The castle informed her that, yes, McGonagall was on her way here. After a few moments her knees strengthened and she released him. Not a moment too soon, because McGonagall turned the corner and paused.

She looked at the hall around them, looked at Ostara and James. She opened her mouth as if to say something, than closed it again. She paused than spoke. "You two best be heading back to Gryffindor house."

Ostara wanted to argue the case that it was only a little after lunchtime, why should they have to go back to the common room. But than she realized that no one else would be in the common room right now. They would all be outside. She grinned at Albus and he seemed to get the gist because he grinned back at her. "Right away headmistress." He grabbed her hand and pulled her forward down the hall, ignoring whatever sidenote she shouted after them.

Minerva watched the two of them continue down the hall. She watched them with a mixture of sadness and hope. One born of Harry Potter, one born of Tom Riddle Jr. She knew that Willow retained none of her memories of being a ghost or her life before that, so perhaps this could be a new beginning for her. But than Minerva looked at the hall where she had found the two of them.

She wanted to believe it was coincidence that Willow had ended up in the hall where she had died so long ago. But deep down, her got told her that things would not go smoothly. She worried if Willow would ruin Ostara's chance at happiness. Closing her eyes momentarily she sent a hope to the air around her, that Ostara would find happiness.
