THE GENIUS AND THE DELINQUENTS
CHAPTER 20
FIONNA'S POV

So then, after the Vampire knight's 'performance' last night, Ashley got pissed. Like way pissed. She made everyone go back to their cabins. We only left to go to our cabin once everyone was gone. We passed by the Vampire knights' cabin; they were all asleep on their porch.

"UGH," Ashley screamed. She stomped off to our cabin, and everyone else followed. I stayed behind and looked at them all their from afar. Marshall and Marceline do look cute together. I mean, they're just there, sleeping on the floor, but they look like they belong to each other. It's a depressing, and stupid, and terrible thought, but it's true.

Ugh, I should've just took Marshall when I had my chance. Now I have to actually do something to make him notice me. if I just told him I liked him back then, then I'd be in Marceline's place right now. Actually, no, I could've been dating him by now! I'm such an idiot.

"Fionna?" Ashley asked. she was a little more calm now; she looked at me worriedly, holding her phone in her hand. I smiled, and she tried to smile, but she just ended up still pouting.

I walked closer to my best friend, and asked, "you okay now?"

"yeah," she sighed. She rolled her eyes slightly, "it's so unfair."

She looked at the Vampire knight's and sighed again before looking at me.

"what does he even see in her?" she asked. I smiled.

"I have no idea," I replied. I linked my arm with Ashley's and we started walking to the cabin.

"anyways, we have a more urgent issue. Summer and Winter are getting familiar with the Vampire knights."

"what do you want to do?"

"I don't know. But if they join the Vampire knights I'm going to kill someone."

"calm down; I don't think Marshall would end up trusting them!" I said.

"but Marceline does," Ashley hissed, "Marshall would trust anyone Marceline does."

"then do something to make Marceline lose their trust," I said plainly. Ashley stopped walking; I looked back at her and she smiled at me.

"Genius," Ashley laughed, "but what?"

"I don't know; hack into their phones, send Marceline or Marshall something."

"perfect," she said happily.

"you back to your normal self?"

"yeah! But what will we do about Bubba kissing Marceline?"

"maybe we can say that Summer and Winter are helping Marceline and Bubba get together," I suggested.

"perfect! Love you, fio," Ashley said.

"love you too, Ashley," I said, hugging Ashley. we walked into the house smiling, and happy. Winter and Summer looked at each other worriedly, and Bubba looked away nervously. Game, set, match.

I went upstairs and fell asleep quickly. Bonnie and the other girls were already upstairs; the odd balls, Summer and Winter, were the only perfects girls that were downstairs. This is going to be great; taking them out. plus, me or Ashley's going to get a chance with Marshall. I love Ashley to death, but I still want to be the one to end up with Marshall.

MARSHALL'S POV

When I woke up I was still beside Marceline; but now the guys weren't here. I groaned and looked to my side. it was pretty dark for the morning; it was probably going to rain today. Marceline grunted beside me. she was facing the door, but she turned around, facing where I was facing.

"good morning," I said sleepily. Marcy scrunched up her nose and smiled.

"morning, Marshall," she said, trying to get up. When she did she brushed her hand through her hair. "Where're the guys?" she yawned.

"I don't know, maybe they went upstairs," I said lying down again. it's so cold right now; plus the comforters and pillows feel nice. I just want to fall asleep again.

Marceline lied down beside me again. "I just want to sleep now," she groaned. "why's it so nice to sleep in the morning?" she asked, lying down on my chest, with her tummy facing the floor "what time is it anyways?"

"I don't know," I said.

"it's seven o' clock," Alex said' throwing his comforter away from him.

"you've been there the entire time?!" I asked. jeez, where'd he come from?! He wasn't there a while ago! Leeum also came out of his comforter, and Kris said a good morning from his comforter. Kris had a blanket burrito, while Leeum's just covered him.

"duh, Marshall," Alex said, "it's not like we just ran here while you guys weren't looking!"

"is that what you did?!" Marceline asked.

"no, we've been here the entire time. Hey, I don't want to go to the fair, do you guys want to go?" Alex asked.

"I don't want to go," Leeum said.

"me neither," Kris said.

"I'm going, what about you Marshall?" Marceline asked me.

"yeah, I'll go. We can't have you going anywhere alone!" I said. Marceline smiled.

"well, then, we're going upstairs," Leeum said, getting up and dragging his things.

"you two have fun with your alone time," Kris winked, following Leeum.

"bye guys," Alex said. me and Marcy stayed outside for another five minutes, sleeping, before we went inside to take a bath. it was so cold, I swear, it's like winter season's early this year.

"are you going to take a bath first, Marcy?" I asked. she was quietly asleep, hugging a pillow. "um, Marcy? wake up, much?"

"yeah, marsh?" she said, rubbing her eyes.

"you want to take a bath first?" I asked.

"uh, yeah, sure," she said. we went inside and closed the door. It was kind of warmer inside, but still cold. Marceline walked into the bathroom, forgetting her clothes again. should I tell her? Nah, but I should get her clothes ready.

I went upstairs, and into Marceline's closet. I didn't really know what I should've gotten; but I got her grey jacket that was too big for her, in case it got any colder, a red sweater in case it would get just a little warmer, a white shirt, and black jeans. Of course I got her underwear, but of course I didn't looked while I was getting them; and I got her socks as well.

"she forgot?" Kris asked.

"yep," I said. I heard Kris and Leeum laugh; Alex was already fast asleep on the bed, hugging his extra pillow. I went down, and made myself a cup of hot chocolate. I made extra for Marceline and the guys. A few minutes later, when I was already finished with my cup, Marceline walked out of the bathroom absentmindedly.

"forgetting something, are we?" I asked. she looked at me with a questioning, but quickly said, "shit," and went back into the bathroom. "marsh, can you get me some clothes?" she asked. I walked over to the door and knocked. She opened it and asked, "why was that so fast? –wait, did you already have my clothes?!"

"yeah," I said plainly, giving her her clothes.

"and you didn't tell me?"

"yeah," I said plainly. She pouted at me, but said thank you anyways. Once she was finished dressing up, I went in and took my bath, a quick bath. I went upstairs and dressed up quickly. Marceline was drinking the hot chocolate I made, and I guess she brought some up to the guys. I got my red plaid shirt, black undershirt, jeans, socks, and sneakers. I put them on and went down to Marcy.

Next we went to the dining room. we might have just arrived but everyone else was leaving already. me and Marcy just ran over to the food, got pancakes and some juice, and we ran to the bus. The perfects were there already, of course. Fionna and Ashley were talking about something evil most probably, while bonnie and Cake were reading a magazine. They stared at me and Marceline with a serious pout.

Marceline and I went to our seats, and sir Petrikov asked us, "where are the rest of you?"

"um, they didn't want to go with," Marceline said.

"hm, ok," he said passively. Both me and Marcy raised a brow.

"hm, ok," Marceline mimicked. I brushed it off with a laugh and asked, "so then, what do you want to talk about," flirtatiously. This time Marceline was the one beside the window; so I put my arm around her shoulders, and leaned into a little.

"how about you get away from me first?" Marceline asked with a pretty smile. "Dude there's like four extra seats. Go, shoo," she said.

"fine," I grumbled, moving a seat away from her.

"better," she smiled. I just want to sleep," she yawned. I smiled, and Marcy lied down. "wake me up, okay?" she asked.

"yeah, I will, don't worry," I said. no, I'm not! Nah, I'm joking, of course I'd wake Marcy up. Around thirty minutes later we got to the fair. I woke Marcy up and we went outside.
