Oh, and while I was reading some reviews, there were like tons of triangles suggested, this season and last season. Some triangles I actually agree with and MIGHT place them in Season 3 (IF there's ever gonna be a season 3, that is.). So, anyhoo, this is Round 1 of KnuxougeShad! Before the show, Sonic's gonna meet his old crush. And no, it isn't Fiona ;)

Knuckles vs. Shadow: The epic rap battle!
"...So, in conclusion," Tails was about to finish his statistics lecture on the second season's first episode. Some weren't really bothered to listen. (I.e: Sonic, Silver, Amy, Sally, etc.) "We have the highest amount of views since our very first episode, and..."
Meanwhile, Sally and Amy were too busy chatting among themselves, and they were issuing out a way to 'punish' Fiona for what she did to Amy back in season 1.
"Hmm...don't worry, I'll think of something!" Amy reassured her colleague.
"Y'know, since we're her targets, I think we should keep an eye on her."
"Yeah! The last thing she wants to do is to hurt my Sonic, and make a fool out of us! I will not allow that to happen! She'll-" Amy didn't realise that her voice was raised.
"Ahem!" Tails looked at the two girls, as well as the others. After a few seconds, he continued. "So, as I was saying, this season will be a good one, as long as we stick together, and have NO conflicts whatsoever! Thank you." The Sonic Heroes applauded him as he returned to his seat. Knuckles nudged the sleeping hedgehog, which, eventually, woke up.
"Wh-wha...cool lecture, bro!...So...how did everyone like the first episode?" Suddenly, he remembered that he needed to do something, but he couldn't specifically say what. "And...hold that thought guys!" He zipped out of the room in a flash, and strolled through the corridor. While he was observing the tv crew and the technicians for a minute, he bumped in to someone he thought he'd never see again.
"Oh my gosh..." The yellow female gasped. She had silky purple hair and the same colour eyes as Sonic. She was also known for her singing. She, was none other than...
"Mina...!" Sonic smiled as soon as he saw his old friend, he gave her a small hug, and the mongoose hugged back. After a few seconds, they let go.
"Sonic!"
"Oh sweet chaos, it's been SO long! How have you been? What's been going on the past few years? What's with-"
"Wow, so much questions!" She chuckled. "But what about you?"
"Well, you know me! Saving the world, and eating chilidogs!" He joked around.
"Well, it's no exception that I'm on a non-stop concert almost every month."
"Aw, man, it's been long...it's great to see you again, Mina."
"Great to see you too!" From that moment on, it got really awkward between them.
"So, err, how's your 'manager'?"
"Well...he...errm...-"
"Mina!" A male voice bellowed, startling both of them. "What do you think you're doing with him!?" A male mongoose with greasy black hair, red small glasses, baggy pants, and a shirt with a jacket over it.
"Well, well, well...speak of the devil. Hey Ash! It seems you still got that depressing attitude of yours." Sonic cockily greeted, but that died as the male mongoose growled at him.
"Long time no see, hedgehog." He mumbled. "We were just leaving, until Mina wandered off-" He grabbed her wrist but she shook it off her.
"Lay off of me, Ash! I'm talking to my old friend!" The singer snapped.
"You can talk to him later!"
"No, she can talk to anyone who she pleases." Sonic butted in and supported Mina in this argument. "What's your problem, Ash?"
"My problem is you, right now!"
"Oh, just because I started to talk to your girlfriend, you got a right to scorn her from me? What are you? Jealous?!"
"Jealous? Of what?! You broke her heart in two, and you didn't even care!"
"That was a long time ago! Things changed back then!"
"Well, if it weren't for me, she wouldn't be the singer she is today!"
"She doesn't have to listen to your depressing crap!"
"Argh, go flirt with some other girls, but not my girl!"
"Go die in a ditch you freakin' emo-goose!" Just then Sonic received a punch on his nose, and shoved him on the ground. The blue blur was about to get up until Ash's right foot came crashing down on Sonic's face.
"...Just stay away from my girl, hedgehog..." He released his foot and walked away. Mina stood there shocked and whispered something to the hedgehog, and then ran off to her manager.
After 30 seconds, Tails came rushing down the corridor. He noticed that his big brother was on the floor. "Sonic!...what happened?" He pulled him up and explained the situation quickly. "Nevermind that! Julie-su barged in and is attacking Rouge! Everyone's trying to break 'em up!"
"No need to tell me twice, Tails!" He zoomed off into their meeting room to stop a dangerous feud.
*In the Meeting room...*
Meanwhile, in the meeting room, everyone was standing outside the room, so they wouldn't get hurt as well. Julie-su was getting pwned by Rouge at the moment by smashing her face on a wall, and then throwing her on the table. Sonic came into the scene and stopped the bat from doing anymore damage.
"That's enough, Rouge! Someone get that echidna outta here!" Since Knuckles was the only eligible person here that can handle the lilac echidna, he escorted her out of the building.
"Damn..." Shadow muttered at the state of the room.
"Err, Sonic? The show's starting in a minute, so we gotta get going!" Tails reminded him.
"Right, everyone. Move to meeting room number 2! Security will sort out this room soon!" The brotherly bond exited the room, with the futuristic silver hedgehog behind them.
*Later...*
As the show's theme song died down, the audience were still cheering. The three presenters smiled at them, until Sonic greeted the audience.
"What's shaking, Mobius?" Sonic asked the audience while they cheered. "Welcome to Sonic Couple Battles! I'm your favourite hero, Sonic the Hedgehog! Assisting me on this triangle, is my lil brother, Tails!" He paused as the audience cheered for him. "And the futuristic hero, Silver!" The audience also cheered for him.
"Awesome!" Silver decided to speak. "A week ago, we were introduced to a similar triangle as Knougie-Su, but it has a little twist!...KnuxougeShad!" The silver hedgehog paused as some of the audience were rooting on for 'Knuxouge' and the other half for 'Shadouge'. "Ok, ok!...it also has a lil bit of Julie-su on the side."
"Haha, reminds me of a joke. 'I'll have some KnuxougeShad with some Julie-Su on the side, please!'" The audience chuckled at the joke.
"Anyhoo, it's time to get the woman in the middle outta here! So, please welcome back, Rouge the bat!"
[Fly In the Freedom- Tabitha fair]
After a few seconds, she strolled out with her bandaged waist, and blew kisses to the audience, which made the some of them do a wolf-whistle. Then, she sauntered over to the three presenters.
"Right! Now, ladies and gentle-hogs...it is my pleasure to celebrate the return of the most epic battle of S.C.B...the battle that started all of this...The Epic Rap Battle!" The audience whooped and cheered their heads off. "Awesome! Although I feel like the rap battles are getting overrated, but...heh,whatdya gonna do?"
"Leave the rap battle to me!" Silver gloated as he teleported to the rapping ring.
"..O..kay?...right, so normally I'd get someone to go backstage to check the competitors...WELL, NOT ANYMORE! Yo, Ames! How's the competitors doing back there?" The giant plasma screen showed Amy.
"Hey Sonikku! I'm backstage right now with actually one of the competitors." The camcorder zoomed out slowly and smoothly to show Knuckles. He had gold chains on his neck, and a black baseball hat with red patterns flipped sideways. The audience cheered at his badass appearance. "So, how confident do you feel about the battle, Knuckles?"
"Well, I am 100% confident. But, not only about the battle, but I'm 100% sure that I'll pwn that hedgehog's ass!" The audience applauded at his gloat.
"PWN my ass?! I'll destroy yours in just five seconds!" From that moment on, Shadow chaos controlled beside the rosy hedgehog, the fangirls squealed with excitement as they saw the dark hearted hero's appearance: Emerald shades, the same accessories as Knuckles, but with a big chain showing his logo, and his unloaded pistol, hanging on the belt.
"Hey Shadow. So, how do you feel about the battle?"
"Hmph. 100% confident."
"Okay...So, fellas! Any last words before battling is taken to the rapping ring?" Amy asked the last question.
"I got three words for Shadow:" Knuckles answered first. "Eat. My. Raps."
"I got some too: 'I hope my raps murder you!'" With that, they both strolled their separate ways.
"Wow, you've seen it here backstage, and it's about to go down in the rapping ring. This proves that battling just got dangerous! Back to you, Sonic!" Amy peaced out as the giant plasma screen faded to black.
"Whoa- hoa- hoa! It has!" Sonic exclaimed astonished. "Time for battling to get dangerous! Take it away, Silv!" The audience whooped loudly as the camera scrolled across the big arena where the rapping ring is.
One light shone on Silver, and he began to speak.
"Ladies and gentle-hogs, it's time for the EPIC SONIC RAP BATTLES!"
[Unknown from M.E- Marlon Saunders ft. Dredd foxx.]
Red lights perked up from the darkness as Knux's theme song started to play. The audience cheered on for him, and soon enough, he appeared in the spotlight. He stared at the cheering and whooping audience for a second, then he jumped up and punched the ground (which at the same time released red pyro on the sides.) "First up, he's from the glorious Angel Island, his rapping I.Q is at 100, he's 'Rad Red' Knuckles the Echidna!" The audience cheered louder, meanwhile, he then high-fived some fans and swaggered down the ramp to join Silver. His theme song died down, but the audience still kept cheering.

Mostly, fangirls started to squeal and scream for him as his theme song came on. Red and black combinations of lights flashed rapidly. A few seconds later, cloudy red steam appeared on the ground. As the theme kicked in, the crimson and onyx hedgehog appeared from the shadows. The spotlight shone on him as he was in his trademark pose. This made the audience cheer louder than before. "And the opponent! He has no fear, he has no name, but he's totally badass! He is 'The dark-hearted hero' Shadow the Hedgehog!" Shadow walked down the ramp staring at his surroundings. He joined Silver's right hand side, while secretly giving Knux a dirty look. His theme song died down as well.
"Are you ready?"
The beat started to play, and everyone was silent for 20 seconds.
"Set..."
The two competitors started bobbing their heads as the beat came on.
"BEGIN!"
Knux started to rap first: "Yo! You better bow straight down, cuz the rapping king is in the house!
Knux is the name, and fighting's my game, I'm so insane, I'll take it to your brain!
But first things first, let's talk about you, Mr. Sonic number two, what the heck is wrong with you?!
You're an emo, man! You don't deserve Rouge, Plus, why are they making fanfics about you?!
I have muscles made of knuckles, you have flab upon ab.
My fighting's independent, while you drive a lousy cab.
I'm the reason of your existence, but still you don't see, that the only true rival of Sonic is me!"
The audience 'ooh'ed at Knux's rap as it was awesome beyond compare. Shadow snatched the mic from him and began to rap: "You call yourself the 'rapping king', and you don't have two golden rings,
That's filled with the ultimate power, I'll chaos spear you every hour!
Think you can just outmatch me? I'm the ultimate life form as you can see!
You better attempt your english degree, cuz what you're saying makes no sense to me!
You're as dumb as Big, and he's smarter than you, And sometimes you don't know what to do,
And at least I don't treat Rouge as a jerk, why don't you just go back to your girlfriend who twerks?
Shadouge is the ultimate couple, man. So, I'll let you be the very first fan.
The audience also 'Ooh'ed at Shadow's rap. He then threw the mic to Knux who catched it and snarled at the U.L.F. He held it up to his mouth and rapped back:
Pfft! Is that the best you got? Well, imma give you my best shot!
Protecting the most powerful jewel I know, I'll smash my enemies as I go! And idiots like you don't glow, when my stone fists hit your torso!
So don't get all traumatic with me, I'll pwn you so hard that your androids will flee! I already got my english degree, the last thing you'll see, is Rouge with me!
Take a second and try to realise, what's going on in my amethyst eyes. I got anger that's growing up week by week, you can't stop me, when I launch my fighting streak.
You think Shadouge is better? No way! Knuxouge is the couple that's here to stay!"
Knux could hear that the audience was impressed by his verse, as they were hollering and whooping at Knux's rap. He sneaked a sly smile at Shadow that said: 'Try to do better, emo.' And he tossed the mic at him, who catched it.
Yo Knucklehead! You better watch your step, 'cause I'll be treading over you with raps instead! So grab your 'precious' Master Emerald, and hold on tight, cuz this rapping, raging hedgehog is gonna go all night!
Screw the 'Knuxouge' couple first, that Couple might as well lie in a hearse, cuz when this rap battle is through, I'll be stepping over your lego shoe.
I'm Sonic's Ultimate rival, more that you'll ever be, I was born with no emotions, yet, you were born in a tree! No wonder that you're dumb, and your punchings really numb, and don't you know that I am all of me?
If you wanna mess around with me, be my guest! But if you're messing with the badass, I'll put you to the test!
I said this once, and I'll say it again, You better kiss Batgirl bye, you little dry blood stain!
The audience also whooped at Shadow's aggressive rap. The two male competitors were coming towards the end of their raps, so this time, they had to do single raps. Knux started to rap first: "That was good Shadster, or so you think! Cuz I'm not the one skating up and down like an ice rink!"
Shadow rapped in response: "You better wear a cap to cover that disgusting hair, you upset Mobians everywhere!"
"I'm the rapping fighting king, with a hell amount of rings, I've been fighting hardcore, and trying to get my score!" At this rate, Shadow said nothing, for his mind was out of raps to say. "I don't care what you say, I just go my own way, I'd rather let you decay than to waste another day! But your raps were good, and it's got a noisy itch, but for the meantime...
YOU JUST GOT SERVED, B*TCH!"
The crowd went wild, as all spotlights shone of Knux, it was clearly said that Knuckles won the rap battle.
And the winner is...KNUCKLES!
He struck a pose to the audience, as Shadow marched backstage in anger and defeat.
The camera scrolled back to Sonic and the rest.
"Whoa...nice rap battle!" Sonic exclaimed. "And congratulations to Knux! I'm pretty sure the woman beside me is impressed...Okay, Mobius! We have once again come to the end of the show! Join us next time for more romance, more drama, more battling! Oh yeah, battling just got dangerous! Oh, and I'm unleashing and introducing the second triangle of the series!" Sonic got interrupted by cheers and hollers. "Anyhoo, we'll see ya next time! Stay awesome!"
The show's theme song came on, and the show ended with the usual. The presenters waving, also, Knux was still celebrating his victory against Shadow, and the audience was cheering their heads off.
*An hour after the show...*
It was just an hour after the show. All the S.C.B fans left, and the Sonic Heroes were about to leave S.C.B H.Q for another successful day. Sonic and Tails were walking down the corridor towards the exit. Currently, they were talking about S.C.B and their threats.
"Whoo! Was that an epic episode or what?"
"Well, duh Sonic. There was a 'Epic rap battle'?"
"Of course! That's what made it so epic!"
"M'hm if you say so...So, no signs of the troublemaker Scourge anywhere."
"Ha! And HE thought he'd come and ruin my show! But I know he's planning something..."
"Oh, and since Julie-Su interfered with the triangle, does that mean the Knougie-Su single battle is talking place?"
"Hmm...no not yet. We'll call that a warning. If she does it again, then it'll be on!" Suddenly, Sonic screeched to a halt as he heard faint crying as he turned his head right. He could clearly see that it was the girl he met before the show.
"...Mina..?" He ran to her, as his sneakers made that squeaky sound. Tails walked after him. He kneeled down to talk to the Mongoose. "Mina, you ok? What's happened?" The golden mongoose didn't answer as she was a bit depressed about the situation. The blue blur then spotted a bit of red on her cheeks. It looked like it stung her. "Is that a...?" Without hesitation, he moved her hand slowly...only to show a sore bruise on her cheek. The azure hedgehog could not believe that the person responsible have done this. "He...punched you?" He questioned her with a hint of anger inside. Mina slowly nodded, this just made Sonic to feel even more outraged. By the time he finished his thoughts, the singer stopped crying, but sniffles were occurring. He stood on his feet and looked upon Tails. "Tails...grab Mina, and get her to your house."
"What are you gonna do, Sonic?" Tails questioned as he did as he was told.
"I'm gonna 'talk' to the douchebag who've done this." He began to walk to the exit, but stopped to add something. "Oh, and Tails?"
"Yeah?"
"Remember the second triangle we were gonna do next episode? Y'know, the one with Silver in it?"
"Err, yeah?"
"Well, I want you to cancel that triangle. And replace it with a triangle that's consisting Me, Mina and Ash..."
"Oh... SonMinAsh?"
"...Yeah, something like that."
DONE! I hope you've enjoyed it! So that moment was kinda true. I replaced Sonazilver with SonMinAsh (If you can come up with a better triangle name, please do so!)
