Ch. 20
I had seen many things my entire life, three thousand years of it, though fighting against my brothers along side: four man sized turtles, rat, the woman and the man who help reunite me with my family and lastly the daughter I had to send away. Watching as each monster returned to their side of the portal, I swung my sword knocking others back. For the first time in a long time, I was doing the right thing. For too long I did nothing, even though I held the power to change things for the better. I merely manipulated every chance I had to put it all in my favor… how easy it was.
I was knocked out of my constant focus by the scream of my dear sister. Looking, I was met with one of the horrors. Catherine and my sister fighting… Catherine's eyes… I stopped in my tracks and felt my heart stop and cold sweat consume me. Her moves were flawless, swift and ruthless. Watching as Catherine fought I could see her lack of concentration, panic in her eyes, and not from my Serpiente's blades, but from what was happening. I had hoped this day would never come for Catherine. I failed. Then I watched as Catherine's eyes lost their glow and she fell in to my sister's blood thirsty hands.
"No, Catherine!" I yelled as I charged across the room. Serpiente merely looked up at me and smiled as she put her blade to Catherine's neck and kept her foot on my daughter's face. "Let her go sister, don't let your hatred for me be wasted on her," I tried to reason as she started to drag her blade against Catherine's neck.
"Make a move brother I'll end her," Serpiente hissed as her blade was dripping from Catherine's blood as she struggled under Serpiente's boot. "Surrender Yaolt or your legacy dies".
"What are you waiting for?" looking down at Catherine she stared back up at me with unfaltering eyes. In the pain she should have been in she never let her eyes loose their fire.
I had just about enough of this woman, even if she was my aunt, in a sense. Whatever the shell that meant. I had only been in this position once in my life and that was when my sensei was still training me. He wanted to ensure I could take anything and held nerves of steal along with the person I thought was my father for this long. Watching as Winter's struggle I waited, that was the key, patience. Her attention was on him so I started to shout at him.
"What are you waiting for?" I demanded never letting my stare leave his as I noticed her pleasure grow from the situation. Just a bit longer, I needed her attention else where and the struggling Winters was the perfect distraction.
"She will kill you!"
"I know!" he was in shock as the woman general rubbed her foot against my cheek keeping me on the ground.
"How touching, self sacrifice, something you never knew Yoalt," she spoke to Winters as she looked at up at him for the first time. NOW! Reaching up I knocked the back of her knee with the back of my hand as hard as I could. She buckled slightly, but just enough for me to get away and kick her away from me. The back of my hand was completely scraped and badly bruised. The pain, my adrenaline started to pump again as she charged at Winter's.
Watching her blade rise as she was about to strike I felt the switch come on again. Trust myself. I closed my eyes and focused on whatever this was. Do or die. I kept repeating that till I felt my blood pressure started to rise. Opening my eyes, everything was like it was before. Slow motion and I could see a person's every pressure point. Looking over at the sword I shook my head and left it where it lie; I trusted my body and intuition. I charged at the general and skid to a stop between her and Winters. Kicking him back towards the portal I stood ready with my palm out towards my opponent. Fixating all my focus on the woman general's pressure points. In that moment I felt my finger tips and palm start to broil.
"Come on, are you a coward or a general cause I can't tell," I smirked as I dodged her blade with ease. Even though my heart was pounding almost out of control, I felt nothing but calm. I watched her movement carefully and kept a playful smirk on my lips as my eyes never wavered from hers. "For some great general your quite sloppy," her rage was getting the better of her as I caught her left arm in mid swing and hit her pressure point in her upper arm and just above her elbow. Her eyes filled with shock and fear as her arm fell limp and unresponsive.
"What did you do witch!"
"Don't you know, successful evil plans are kept secret," I smirked as I dodge her right arm by spinning around her. Coming behind her I smirked as I hit the pressure point on the back side of her right collar bone along with her shoulder blade enabling both arms. "So what else you got?" I smirked as she gave a beastly roar as I could hear Master Splinter yelling.
"We must finish this now!" looking up I saw everyone pushing the other soldiers back. The woman general back up as I stepped forward to her, smirking as I had her at the edge of the portal I kicked her square in the chest sending her and the other generals in to the portal. Watching as all general fell in to the portal, we were all casted back by a shock wave. Hitting the back of my head against the hard marble floor my vision was blurred and went back to normal. With the help of Mikey I leaned up and stared at the portal, feeling every muscle in my body ache and pulsate in pain. My head pounded as I could barely even give a personal though as I could only beg, please be over.
I wanted to give a special thank you to the people who have commented and give me the confidence to continue and who have also helped. thank you everyone and please comment :D
