"Let me just do it one more time. I promise I'll get it right this time", Miki begged at her coach as he frustratedly told Miki to stay back after she missed catching the hoop back.
"Your mind is not here where it needed to be. Just take a break and we'll do it over again after dinner", he said curtly as Miki pulled his hand stopping him from walking away.
"Please.. Just one more time. I want to go home early tonight. Please coach... Just once more. I'll get it right. I promised", she pleaded as Mr. Ryusuke looked at her before nodding.
"Once! If you still don't get it right.. Don't even bother begging", he said crossing his arms as he waited for Miki to take her position.
She closed her eyes momentarily as if shaking everything in her mind and grabbed the hoop in position. She took a deep breath before she did her routine and as she landed on her feet as she caught her hoop in her hand she heard an applause.
"That's how I want it to be every single time. You can go now", her coach sounded satisfied as he smiled toward her. She let out a relief sigh as she grabber her towel and put on her training suits on. She grabbed her bag and headed for the door when she noticed Akama sat on the bench next to the door.
"How long have you been there?", she asked him in surprised. She knew Akama would pick her up but just didn't think he would showed up so early let alone inside the gym.
He smiled as he pulled the bag off her shoulder and carry them instead.
"Long enough. Someone let me in, I think that girl friend of yours", he looked at the direction of Hitomi. She followed his gazed at Hitomi who's been scolded by Mr. Ryusuke and almost at the verge of tears by the look of it. She sighed. Mr. Ryusuke can be very tough on them since he's into perfection and won't tolerate any mistake no matter how small.
"Let's go. I'm done for the day", she said as she hung her towel around her neck and made her way out of the door welcoming the cold air.
"You looked exhausted. Are you ok?", he asked as they got in the car.
She closed her eyes before she opened them again "Its been a long day. I'm exhausted emotionally as much as physically", She sat back as she closed her eyes again pretending to sleep.
Akama didn't say anything as they drove in silence until they arrived.
"Tomorrow is weekend. Anything you wanted to do in particular?", Akama asked her as they walked towards the door.
She let out a heavy sigh as she walked in "just want to be with you. Anywhere is fine with me or just stay home", she said lazily as she headed for the bathroom only to find the bathtub she hardly use was full of water with bubbles and candles around it with a very calming and soothing fragrances filling up the bathroom. There's even a cup of hot tea next to the bath.
She touched the water and felt how warm and inviting it was as the weather was getting colder and colder each day.
A warm bath was just perfect, she thought.
She smiled and got undressed and putting on her bath robe as she thought of something and went out to find Akama.
"Did you do all that?", she asked him as he smile at the sight of her in her pink bath robe.
"Ah, you've seen it? I thought after a long day like today you might want to soaked yourself there and just take your time rather than having a quick shower you always did. It would help you relax. I do that sometimes after a very tiring trip. Try it!", he winked at her "don't worry, I won't disturb you. I've fixed the door's lock already", he added as she stared at him.
He's too thoughtful. Its just making her feel even more painful with all his kindness knowing very soon it will end.
"Don't let the water gets cold. Just go and enjoy", he gave her a little push toward the door since she just stood there.
"Why don't you join me?", she said softly as they reach the door. Akama's eyes widened as he heard what she said.
He looked amused as he looked at her "Did you knock your head doing a somersault before?", he pretended to check her head when she held his hand stopping it at his track as she pulled him closer and looked up to meet his eyes.
"You always teased me about joining me in the shower. Well, I'm asking you to join me now. Isn't this what you wanted?", she asked him as his eyes trying to see if she's serious or teasing him.
"You're still trying to change my mind, aren't you? And just so you know, you're killing me in the process", he smiled sadly at her but Miki shook her head.
"No. I won't try to change your mind anymore. If that's what you think best then I just have to trust you. I won't hold you back anymore." She didn't take her eyes off him as she said it. For a while he just stared at her trying to take in what he just heard. She'd agreed to end their relationship.
"Miki...", he couldn't find the words to say anything.
"So, let's just enjoy our time together and make a good memories of what we had. I will surely cherish all this", she said as she pulled him to the bathroom with Akama still too stunned to say anything.
She locked the door behind them and turn off the light leaving the bathroom very dim with only candles lighting up the room. She walked towards the bathtub and slid her bath robe open as it fell around her feet exposing her beautiful figure before she went in the bathtub and turned to look at Akama who'd been staring at her speechless.
"Are you coming in?", she winked at him.
Akama just stared at her as he couldn't believe his eyes as what she just did in front of him. Miki has always been shy around of him even when they already knew each other intimately.
She looked so alluring in that bathtub surrounded by bubbles and candles.
He took his clothes off without taking his gaze off her as he saw a slight panic and nervousness in her eyes despite her daring move just now. He can't help but smiled as he saw it and made his way towards the bathtub to join her. She looked away as he entered the tub and he chuckled at her obvious nervousness at the sight of him.
He grabbed her by the shoulder as he sat himself behind her and pulled her closer to him making her leaned on him as he gave a short laugh.
"Regret it already?", he teased as he held her in his arms.
"I think so. It suppose to make me relax instead of giving me a heart attack", she said making him laughed at her honesty.
"Here, drink this", he said as he grabbed the tea and passed it on to her. She took it as she moved away from him and stayed at the other end of the bathtub facing him as she hid behind the overflowing bubbles among them.
Akama laughed at her move "What was that?", he asked looking amused as he enjoyed looking at her slightly blushed face.
"I don't think I can think straight with your body too close to mine with nothing in between. I feel much safer from here, thanks", she grinned as she took a sip of her tea and straight away feel much more relax. She has no idea what kind of tea was that and how he did it but it was very soothing.
"You should be used to it by now", he teased her making her blushed as she splashed water towards him.
"Oh.. You know what I mean", she muttered.
"So is having a bath together is part of your list somewhere too?", Akama teased her.
"Never even crossed my mind", she said as she took another sip of her tea. "I just want to spend every moment I had left with you". Akama smiled hearing that as he felt just the same.
"Thanks for getting into all the troubles preparing this for me. You're so thoughtful, Akama. What would I do without you in my life huh? You spoiled me too much I will never get a guy to fill your shoes", she sighed as Akama pulled her feet dragging her towards him making her protest but his strength no match to hers.
"We haven't even break up yet and you already planning on finding a new guy? Unbelievable!", he said as he wrapped his arms around her waist and move his face closer to her until their lips an inch away.
"As if I could find such a guy," she said as he kissed her slowly making her wrapped her arms around him pulling him closer that their body touched.
Akama smiled as he break away from the kiss. "Feeling much comfortable now, I see", he grinned as Miki blushed uncontrollably aware of how close they were.
"Here sit back and just relax", he said as he took a handful of shampoo and start massaging her head. Miki closed her eyes as she felt Akama's hand on her head moving so gently. And she can't help feeling disappointed when he's finally done.
"My turn! My turn!", she said excitedly as she made him turn around. He gave a short laugh as he let her play with his hair.
"I felt like 10 again", he grinned. She chuckled trying to imagine a 10 years old Akama playing in the bathtub.
"Were you a good kid or naughty one?", she asked as he laughed at the question.
"What do you think?", he asked her back.
"You must be a goody goody", she grinned as he laughed and turned to see her.
"I was too naughty that I was often in trouble with my dad", he grinned "what about you?"
She smiled "I'm just average kid. Got bullied and become a tomboy", she said as Akama laughed "I can't see you as tomboy. You're far too feminine to be one". He grinned as he took the soap dispenser and gave her a wink "next step?", he teased as Miki moved away from him so fast the water splashed everywhere.
"I'll be gentle", he added cheekily as he move closer but looked away as Miki splashed him with water. "Stop it!" He tried to blocked it but she just laughed as she continued to do that.
"Oh.. You really asking for it", he said as he grabbed her making her shriek as they heard the door bell rang and without thinking Miki ducked under the water before Akama pulled her up. He laughed so hard at her reaction.
"Relax! You locked the door, remember? Whoever at the door can either wait or go away", he smiled as he kissed her again.
But Miki was too panicked she just pushed him. "Let's just finish this or we will get sick soon. She rinse her hair before grabbing the towel not far from there and stood up quickly as she wrapped herself with the towel before stepping out.
Akama shook his head in disbelief as he cursed whoever at the door. He quickly rinse his hair and stood up as he grabbed his towel and stepped out too.
He grinned at her as she put on her pink bath robe.
"You better get the door, it might be important. I'll dry my hair first", she said making him smile as he re-wrapped the towel around his waist and walked out.
"Hey! Put on some clothes first at least!", she heard Miki called from the bathroom in panic but he just laugh as he opened the door to find Aoyama stared at him with Kijima and Kuroda behind him doing just the same.
"What took you so long? We've been standing here for a while!", protested Kijima as Kuroda and Aoyama exchanged glance at each other.
"Man! You guys really know your timing", he grinned at them as Aoyama closed his eyes before opened them again. "Don't even tell me what you mean by that. I just got a headache all of sudden."
"Come in and grab your own drinks at the fridge. I won't be long", he said as he walked in leaving the door open for them before he went to the bathroom and slammed the door behind him.
Miki raised her eyebrows at him as he grinned "its the boys. They're all outside", he said as he went into the walk in wardrobe next to it and put on some clothes.
"We're both dead meat", she mumbled making him laugh as he held her from behind and see their reflection in the mirror in front of them. "Its worth it" he said making her smile too.
She went to the wardrobe to grab her clothes. After what happened last time she always prepared a set of clothes there just incase this happened.
"Go first, Akama. I won't be long", she said as she comb her hair. Akama just smiled before walking out and close the door.
"So.. Wanna tell me what brings you all here tonight?", he grinned at them as he dried his hair with the towel around his neck and grabbed a seat next to Kuroda.
"Miki is going back to dorm on sunday right? So we thought since tomorrow you both most likely will be out, we wanna throw her a farewell dinner. She probably will be too busy after this and won't see us much", said Kijima and the rest nodded.
"Sayaka is out with Rei so it would be just five of us and tomorrow Aoyama also had a big game so we won't be able to do it tomorrow. We thought of checking in with you guys tonight instead", Kuroda said as he gave Akama a meaningful glance as Akama just leaned back and smile at them.
"We didn't think you both will be too busy to even open the door", Aoyama looked at him sounded annoyed.
"Don't be such a girl, waiting a while won't kill you", he snapped at him as he gave a short laugh at the look at Aoyama's face.
Miki came out as she took a seat next to Akama as she pushed Kuroda aside to make room for her in between them.
"What did I missed?", she asked around as Aoyama gave her a suspicious look and Kijima and Kuroda grinned at her.
"They're planning on taking you out for a farewell dinner", Akama filled her in as she saw a slight disappointment in her eyes momentarily before she smiled at them.
"For me? You guys way too nice. I was thinking of just staying home tonight but since you're all here. Where do we go?", she asked them giving Akama a light squeeze as she grabbed his arms.
He smiled knowing well that Miki wanted to stay in with him but felt bad at their friends effort just the way he felt too.
"Why do I have a feeling you guys not too excited to go with us?", Kijima accused them as Akama rolled his eyes at him.
"You guys came at a very wrong time and just asked us to go out like that. What do you expect. Its a good thing we didn't just make you stand in front of the door for hours", he said as Miki burst into giggle fit at the thought of three of them waiting by the door. Somehow she can't picture it.
"What were you up to?", Kijima asked innocently as Aoyama and Kuroda darted him a glance signalling him to shut his mouth.
Akama grinned at Kijima as Miki blushed slightly "Why Kijima? Do you really want to know? Hmm would you like the short version or the detail version?", he teased Kijima as his eyes glittered with excitement like a teenage boys on a dare game. Miki just shook her head in disbelief as Kuroda nudged her playfully she rolled her eyes at him ignoring him.
Finally aware what's going on Kijima closed his ears with both hands "No! Don't tell me!," he yelled as Akama laughed.
"You seemed so happy, chief!", said Aoyama making Akama grinned at him "Any man would be happy if ..", he was about to continued as three of them covered their ears as they all shot him a don't-you-dare-tell-us look at Akama making him laughing even louder at the sight.
Miki just sighed as he gave Akama a warning look "Stop it! You're really enjoying this, aren't you?", she shook her head in disbelief as he smiled at her.
"They ask, I answer", he grinned.
"I never seen this side of him", complained Kijima as Aoyama nodded in agreement.
Miki chuckled "Oh.. He's cheeky alright", she said as Kuroda laughed.
"Why don't we all just stayed in, order some food or buy some and just enjoy our time like this. We can even do a karaoke here. Akama could play guitar ", Miki suggested excitedly.
"I can play guitar too!", Aoyama said quickly making Kijima laugh.
"Ok kids.. Everyone can play guitar ok? Wait for your turn this is no competition for talent quest", Kuroda joked as everyone laughed at Aoyama's instant reaction just now.
"That's not a bad idea actually. Unless you guys already reserve a place somewhere", Akama said as he looked around.
"Not really we just wanted to be together and staying here is not such a bad idea. We can just talk all night and play games and stuff. Sounds good to me. I will just crash at Aoyama's afterwards". Kijima sounded excited at the idea "if you tell me the closest supermarket, I could actually use your Kitchen and Miki could help me out". Miki beamed at him as she nodded.
Akama smiled "sounds like a plan."
"I'll get some drinks then. Aoyama could come with me and help me carry it", Kuroda said as Aoyama nodded.
"Let's all go to the supermarket then. It will be fun", Miki said as everyone smiled. "Its not too far from here. I only went there once when I first met Akama again. Its quite complete", she said making Akama looked at her amazed that she remember every details of their time together.
"Let's go then!", Akama stood up as everyone followed him and laughed as they looked at each other and said "ok" in unison.
-
Miki couldn't contained her smile as they all walked home together with the boys joking around and teased each other. Its just like back in the old days and like a big happy family went on shopping. While Kuroda, Akama and Aoyama busy choosing drinks and snacks, Kijima and herself busied choosing ingredients for their late dinner.
"Ah .. What a great thing to be a girl, I don't need to carry anything", she teased them as she walked in front of them.
"Here! Carry this then", Kuroda passed her a bag but she put her hands behind her as she stick her tongue out at him. "Its my party right? You should carry it for me" everyone laughed as Kuroda shook his head.
"Let her be, we'll make her pay when the game time comes", said Aoyama as he winked at Miki.
"What game? What you guys planned?", she suddenly worry as Aoyama grinned at her.
"Its just a bluff! Let's ditched them", Akama told her as he grabbed her by the shoulder and walked along her leaving the three guys behind.
"Yo! Who do you think we are? Your body guards?", yelled Kuroda in protest as Akama quickened his steps with Miki giggling as they raced the stairs ahead of them and saw Aoyama chasing them closely.
Miki ran fast leaving Akama at the sight of Aoyama approaching them. Aoyama went passed Akama as he took double steps at the stairs and make a dash for it.
They all could hear her screamed in surprise as Aoyama obviously catching up with her and tickled her.
"Ditching us huh? Don't you think you can out run goggle blue, honey", he said as Akama opened the door and let them all in with Miki still giggling as she threw herself on the sofa.
"You both really need to grow up at some stage", said Kijima as he put down the groceries in the kitchen.
Miki and Aoyama glanced at each other before burst into laughter.
"Hey! Don't blame us if we ARE young and you guys are old", he said making three of them turned to him as Miki covered her self with the cushion trying her best to control her laughter. Aoyama always joked about their age and now he should paid for it.
"Did you just call us old?", asked Kijima as he took a step closer to Aoyama who still grinned.
"Maybe not old.. OLDER", he corrected quickly as Akama and Kuroda shook their head in disbelief.
"I should just feed you baby food tonight since you're MUCH YOUNGER", Kijima said as the rest laughed.
"Stop it, you guys are killing me here", Miki said as she held her stomach which hurt from laughing too much.
"You, missy.. Stop laughing and help me in the kitchen while they set up the table", ordered Kijima making her smiled as she stood up and followed him to the kitchen.
Its quite cramped with almost all of them in the kitchen until Kijima kicked Kuroda out letting only Akama to stored the drinks on the fridge and made him pass the plates to Kuroda instead of having them both in the kitchen. He told Miki what to prepared as he cook.
"You're really good Kijima. I'm hungry already at the smell of it." Miki said as she finished her preparations.
"Table's ready! Bring out the food already!", called Aoyama.
"Wait in your corner! Your food is not pureed enough", Kijima snapped at him making Miki giggled as Aoyama hit him playfully "I was joking grandpa!" Before he run out the kitchen as Kijima turned around with a butcher knife on his hand.
"That guy! I really wonder why he's my friend sometimes", Kijima shook his head as Miki laughed.
"I brought camera with me!" Announced Aoyama making Miki ran out of the kitchen as she look at him excitedly. "Let's take many picture tonight. Make sure you give me the print out", she said excitedly.
He grinned as he nodded "Sure thing!"
"Take our picture then", Kuroda said as he put his hand around her shoulder and move his face close to hers as Aoyama clicked away. Miki smiled at him.
"Tell your kids when they saw this picture that this is the man who broke my heart and married another woman instead", he joked as Miki laughed.
Aoyama passed the camera to Kuroda as he put his hand around Miki "my turn! My turn", he said excitedly as they both smiled to the camera.
"Tell your kids that this is the man who run away with you on your wedding day but died afterwards from your hubby's attack", he joked making her laughed even more.
"You guys are too funny!", she said in between laughter.
Kijima came out of the kitchen after hearing all that pushed Aoyama aside as he put his arms around her "My turn!", he said as Kuroda clicked away.
"What should I tell my kids this time?", Miki giggled.
"Tell your kids that this is the man who dump me because I can't cook", he said as everyone laughed.
Akama who's been watching all of them taking picture with Miki in turn just sat quietly on the sofa as he smiled at her obvious happiness around their close friends. He saw her glancing at him as she approached him.
"What about you, Akama? Don't you want to take a picture with me?", she asked.
He just smiled as he pulled her making her sat on his lap as he wrapped his arms around her protectively. "I thought you just saving the best for last", he said as she giggled and look at Kuroda who still held the camera. They both smiled at the camera as Miki hold his hands that's wrapped around her.
"And.. What should I tell my kids?", she waited for his answer as everyone else looked at Akama wondering what he would say.
"Tell our kids that this is mommy and daddy before we make you", he said making her blushed instantly as the rest of the guys whistled and made a wolf sounds. Akama laughed at everyone's reaction.
"He's too smooth! Way out of my league", Aoyama said as he shook his head sounded amused. Kuroda clicked his tongue away as Kijima let out a big sigh.
"I should learn from you", Kijima said making Akama laughed.
Akama watched as Miki looked away feeling overwhelmed as she got up from his lap and went to kitchen.
"What happened? Did I say something wrong?", Kijima asked as Aoyama shrugged and Akama bit his lip as he stared at the kitchen door.
"Talk to her..we'll stay here", Kuroda quickly pushed Akama toward the kitchen.
He did just that as he found her busied herself with the stove.
"Miki.. Are you ok?", he asked carefully as he held her from behind.
"Its a cruel joke, don't you think?", she whispered without looking at him.
"I'm sorry.. I didn't think that way. Let's just forget the whole thing and cheer up ok? You don't want to ruin your night with your close friends and just try to enjoy every moment we have left ok?", he said as he turned her around and hold her close.
She nodded as she looked into his eyes. "You have no idea just how bad I wished it would happen", she sounded so hurt he wished he didn't say that. Just like her, that's what he wished for but who knows what would happen in the future. He can't guarantee that they would be together again either nor promised her eternity as much as he would love to.
They walked out as everyone pretended to be busy talking among themself. Its such a pathetic effort, Miki can't help but smiled. "You're all are such a bad actors", she shook her head in disbelief as Akama smiled.
"Since the kitchen is clear, let's get our food and eat! I'm super hungry I could eat Aoyama", he said as he dragged Aoyama to the kitchen "you're helping me bring out the food, Mister".
Kuroda looked at them both with concern "You guys ok?", he asked as they nodded.
"I was being insensitive for a bit", Akama explained as Kuroda nodded showing that he understand.
The dinner went with everyone talk over each other as they enjoy the food and teased each other as always. Akama was relief to see how quick Miki cheered up and laughed away as Aoyama made jokes.
"Aahh.. Dinner was better than restaurant. Thanks Kijima!", said Kuroda patting his belly as everyone nodded in agreement.
"Wait! We forgot to make a toast for Miki", said Aoyama as he ran to the kitchen before coming back with champagne glasses and a bottle of champagne on his hand.
Miki looked at all of them feeling so overwhelmed with all their affection for her. She beamed at them as they all raised their glasses towards her.
"I toast for your success in getting your dream and don't forget me when you're famous", Kijima raised his glass at her. She smiled "how could I forget you ever?", she said feeling tears coming up.
"I toast for gold. You'd better come back with one and do us proud! Don't come back without it", Kuroda said as he winked at her and raised his glass. She beamed at him "Thanks Kuroda, I'll try my best".
"I toast for your hoop number then. Make me proud! And wear blue with pride, hopefull that how you win the gold", Aoyama winked at her as he raised his glass making her chuckled at his toast.
Everyone seemed lost as they all looked at Aoyama.
"Ah.. She's doing Rhythmic so she will use each of our weapon in her number during competition and she promised me to wear blue for the hoop number", he winked at her again.
"Is that mean you would wear yellow for ball number?", Kijima quickly asked. She nodded as she smiled.
"Black and clubs will win you a gold", Kuroda said confidently.
"You would wear red too for rope?", Akama asked as Miki looked down and bit her lip before she raised her eyes to meet his "Unfortunately starting this year, the federation is dropping rope from the competition. It will not be included", she said making everyone quiet and she could see Akama winced at her explanation. Not only he won't be a part of her anymore, even his signature weapon won't be part of her world too. How ironic is that?
"Don't read too much into it. Its only rules and they might change it again in the future", said Aoyama quickly.
"Akama, where's your toast?", Kijima reminded him.
"I toast for your dream. Hope you will achieved what you've been working so hard for the last five years and will do me proud", he said as he raised his glass.
"To Miki!", called Kuroda as everyone repeated in unison and clicked their glasses.
"Thank you guys. Its a very expensive dream at a cost, but I will be sure to get it and do all of you proud since you all supported me so much. Wish me luck", she said as she raised her glass before drinking it.
"Let's clear this up later. Let's play some game", Aoyama said as he took his glass and moved to the sofa.
"Sounds good to me", said Kuroda taking his glass as he followed suit.
"I'm too full to move." Kijima looked at his belly before making attempt to move.
Miki stood up and bring her glass as Akama did too.
"What should we play?", Miki leaned on Akama's chest lazily as they sat next to each other.
"Truth or dare", Aoyama grinned as Miki smiled. "Game on!", she grinned at him.
"Are we really playing that? Might as well just ask the question away since none of us should lie to one and another", said Kuroda as he looked around.
"Let's do that then. We all ask a question each at 1 person and they must answer nothing but the truth and must answer the question no matter what. That way we might actually get to know each other even better", said Aoyama as Miki nodded excitedly "I'm in! I'm in!"
"I hate questions! I felt like I'm in police station already", he said as Akama laugh.
"Ask away then!", challenge Akama.
"Akama! You're first", said Aoyama grinning at him. Akama just sat back as he looked around waiting who would ask him first.
"Do you ever think Mazuruka is attractive?", Kuroda asked as everyone burst into laughter at the image of Mazuruka.
"What kind of question is that?", Akama protested looking at Kuroda but he look serious "ah! Ah! Nothing but the truth, my friend", he said as Miki try her best not to laugh.
"Well,.. I guess she could be attractive when she wants to be. Definitely not as a helmet chick without a bike", he laughed as he recalled her black helmet.
"Did you like Miki ever since sentai days?", asked Kijima making her heart beat raced at the mention of her name.
"I cared for her but wasn't sure what it g©was till I met her again." He smiled as he gaze at her.
"Have you ever went out with Mariko as boyfriend and girlfriend?", Aoyama asked him. Miki looked at Aoyama in surprised at his question.
Akama closed his eyes before he looked at Aoyama in the eye cursing him for such question. "We were a couple for three months on her terms", he said as he looked at Miki to see her reaction but she looked away. Miki knew Mariko liked him but never thought they're actually dated and were a couple. No wonder she was too comfortable around the studio and even obtained a spare key. She glanced at the bed automatically wondering if they ever...
"Last question.. Miki?", he asked her making her thoughts disappear at the sound of his voice.
She's tossing whether or not she really wanted to know what's going on between him and her. Had he ever prepared bath for her the way he did for her tonight? Had he ever sing to her the way he did when they first dated? Did he also held her in his arms they way he did her? Too many questions popping up in her head she felt she needed some air.
"I have no question for you", she said finally as everyone looked at her in surprise including Akama. "Are you sure? Its your chance to ask me anything", he said as she looked at him coldly "I can ask you later when it comes to mind",
"Fine.. Moving on. Me!", Kuroda called for himself.
Akama pulled her closer but she instantly pushed his hand away casually. He realised just what may be going through her mind as he let out a sigh and focus on Kuroda.
"If both Miki and Sayaka held hostage and you could only save one of them, which one would you save?", asked Akama making everyone looked at Kuroda.
"Easy! I'll save Sayaka of course. If Miki also held hostage, you would be right behind me or even infront of me trying to save her. What's the point in saving her if you're there", he winked at him making Akama laughed.
"Smart answer! As expected of you, Kanpei!", he said as he clapped Kuroda's back.
"Would you marry Sayaka?", asked Aoyama making Kuroda blushed suddenly as he looked around before he nodded "Soon.." He said as everyone gasped and clapped his back and Miki hugged him "I'm so happy for you", she said as Kuroda smiled. "Shhh.. She doesn't know it yet. I haven't propose yet. So don't even give it away!" He look around warning them.
"Are we invited?", asked Kijima
"I take that as your question." He grinned as Kijima realise it was his turn to ask question. "Not only invited, all of you are my best men of course".
"Thanks .. I'll be so proud to be your best men", said Miki sarcastically making him laugh.
"Your question, missy", he reminded her.
"When you decided to let go off Sayaka to fight along us as goggle black, do you ever worry you might lost her for good?", she asked as Kuroda and Akama looked at her knowing just what she meant.
He took a deep breath. "I thought I did. I was prepared for it. But if its meant to be, here we are, together again even after so many years", he said as he glanced at Akama and her in turn.
"What a deep question!", commented Aoyama.
"Ah, Aoyama Saburo.. Tell me about your first love", said Akama as he grinned at him.
"Well.. I had many crush before I knew what love was. I guess its fair to say my first love was Sari. That professor who's actually a spy." He said as he recalled her.
"What about Miki?", Kuroda asked as he grinned.
"Miki? I liked Miki even from sentai times. She's always next to me and not to mention good to look at so of course its only natural to have feelings for her but after seeing her again and how she's with Akama, I can't compare what I feel for her with the way Akama feel for her. I guess she was one of my crush", he said as he winked at Miki making her smile at his honesty.
"Out of us all, who do you look up to the most?", asked Kijima as everyone smiled to hear what the answer would be.
"You're putting me in the corner here. Let me just say I look up to you all. Kijima, you're my best friend no matter how old you are. I always envied Kuroda to be able to come out with great ideas and always so quick in drawing conclusion to tricky situation but I guess all around I admire our chief the most. " He smiled as everyone smiled too.
"You just trying to please them!", teased Miki as he rolled his eyes "its the truth game, honey".
"Stop calling me that", she threw a cushion at him.
"Ah! You guys ask Miki first. I'm not up for questions just yet. Let me relax and digest my food first before you grilled me with stupid questions", said Kijima before anyone asked him.
"Miki, wanna share with us your first love?", Akama asked her making her blushed at the question. She felt like kicking him for it.
She saw they all grinned in anticipation of her answer.
"My first love is you", she said without looking at him as she heard the noises that all the boys made hearing her answer.
Akama stared at her in disbelief. He never expected him to be her first love even though she made it clear she didn't date much guys.
"What about first kiss then?", asked Kuroda teasingly.
She looked up to meet his gaze. "Its too personal don't you think?", she said as kuroda shook his head. "Any questions.. And only the truth!"
She looked down again before she pointed at Akama without saying anything. Again they all laughed as they made more noises.
"What about first time?", asked Aoyama grinning at her making her stood up as she looked at them "I don't want to play anymore", she said but Kijima pushed her back to the seat. "Ah! Ah!ah! Answer first then you can quit."
Akama looked at her wondering just the same as she covered her face wanting to disappear.
"Akama", she said quietly as Aoyama screamed "NO!" And Kuroda and Kijima made a wolf sound so loud she grabbed the cushion next to her and aimed at both of them hitting them on the face so hard at the speed she did.
"Ouch! Hey its Aoyama who asked the question!", protested Kijima as he rubbed his face.
Akama just stared at her in disbelief. He really didn't think everything is new to her and never crossed his mind that he would be her first of everything.
"Have you ever think Deathkiller is actually a cool guy?", Kijima asked making her laugh at the unexpected question as everyone joined in.
She tried to recalled Deathkiller and what he look like. "I can only remember his stupid moustache. I think he's quite a good match to Akama's strength but never think he's cool especially not the way he dressed." She said.
"Akama's strength? Hang on! I'm the strongest here, Missy!", protested Kijima
"Well then you're a good match with those moozo but not deathkiller." She grinned at him.
