The way to the house was hard and Lin barely drove to the parking. When Naru and Mai got out from the car they looked at the house.
''It look really weird.'' Mai said.
''I thought so too when I first saw it.'' Next to her appeared Bou and Yasuhara.
''I think that this house is really haunted. I fell a few spirits there.'' Masako came closer as well and behind her was Matsuzaki.
''Is everyone here? Where is John?'' Mai asked her friends.
''He went to the house. He wanted to check if the house have any religious marks or others things.'' Yasuhara explained.
''By the way, do you know who is our customer?'' Matsuzaki looked excited.
''It's Koga Hayato!'' Bou was as excited as Matsuzaki.
''Who's that?'' John returned and asked a question.
''It's a huge star. He's a handsome actor who can sing and dance. He has the lead role in a really popular drama right now but not the drama that is filming here.'' Mai knew about him and his career yet she didn't go on a date with him.
''Did you found this information before going here?'' Naru asked.
''No, I knew who he is when he came to the office. Why do you ask?'' She didn't understand the meaning of this question.
''I just wanted to ask.'' He answered and left her alone.
Lin smiled because he knew what his boss was thinking:
''She didn't go with him even though she knew about him being a popular actor. Normal girls would leave everything to be able to eat lunch with him.''
30 MINUTES LATER…
Mai was walking in the big house that looked like mansion. Right now she was wearing short, blue skirt and stylish, black, high-heeled shoes.
''That clothes fits you perfectly.'' She heard a man's voice behind her and knew whose it is.
She turned around and smiled.
''Good evening.''
''It's nice to see you my lady. Did you have a good day?'' The golden-haired man came closer.
''Yes, I had. What about you?''
''At first I had a broken heart because I thought that the woman who should be with me have another man but then I heard that it was just a misunderstanding. Now I can say that it's a beautiful day.'' He looked happy.
Mai knew that she's going to have a big trouble with him on this case.
''It's my first case, excluding the previous job when I joined during the case, and I had to meet someone like him in the beginning.'' She thought.
''Hayato! Don't disturb this woman!'' In the room appeared someone else.
That man looked more normal than the lead actor. He had short green hair and black eyes. His clothes looked normal too.
''I'm Nagano Akira and I am sorry for that stupid man.'' He said to Mai who smiled.
''It's fine Akira. I'm trying to flirt with her so don't interfere me.''
Mai laughed.
''Are you two friends?'' She asked because men were friendly with each other.
''Yes, we were friends before we had five years old. We are old buddies.'' Hayato said.
''Excuse me but is it possible that the friend who told you about SPR is him?''
''Yes, that's right. He believes in ghosts and is fascinated in your job.''
''Are you working in Shibuya-sama's office?'' Akira smiled more.
''Shibuya-sama?'' It sounded weird and Mai laughed. ''Yes, I am working with that person.''
''That's awesome! If you are working in that office then that mean you have special abilities, right?''
''You sound like a weirdo. She's just a normal but beautiful girl who is like a business card for them.''
Mai became really angry and wanted to say something back but didn't make it in time because both men had to get back to work.
''See you later gorgeous.''
They left but Mai's face still was red.
''People like that really pisses me off.'' She said when she was left alone.
In the same time she felt someone presence. She quickly turned around and looked at the window. Behind it she saw a child's hand and quickly came to the window then opened it. She didn't saw anything.
''This room is on the second floor. It's impossible for any child to be behind this window.'' She closed the window and when she wanted to turn around something punched her in the back and she lost consciousness.
When she woke up she was still in the same place but in her hand was a paper. She looked at it and read the sentence that was written there.
''I want to play with you.'' It was written by colored pencil.
She took this paper with her and left the room then went to the place she was staying in. She took off her clothes and looked at back that was badly bruised.
''Why do I have to attract so many ghosts?'' Mai asked herself.
A FEW MINUTES LATER…
''Mai, why didn't you showed up in the meeting?'' Masako came to the room.
''I forgot about it. I am sorry. Did I miss something important?'' The brown-haired woman wasn't naked anymore. She wore a shorts and t-shirt.
''We were talking with people who thinks that were pick by ghost. Their stories were the same as that man's.''
''Then it wasn't important.'' Mai smiled.
''That's right but even so Naru is still very mad. He will scold you tomorrow.''
''Yes, I know. I thought so… Masako… what do you feel in this house?'' Mai asked and looked at her friend's eyes.
The woman who was usually serious and always wear a kimono answered her.
''I feel a ghosts presence but I don't think it's something serious. Why do you ask? Do you feel anything?''
''I don't but today something weird happened to me…'' She started very quiet.
''What happened?'' Masako came closer to her and on her face was worried expression.
''No, nothing. It probably was just a little prank made by some funny guys.'' She laughed.
''Mai, you can't lie. You always avoid saying the truth. Don't you believe in me or SPR?''
Mai felt bad for not telling her the truth after her speech.
''Actually, today when I was going to the meeting I had a little accident…'' She started.
