"We'd like to apply to adopt an angel," Mary says approaching the counter.

The woman looked up and nodded grabbing a form. "Would you like to go look at the ones we have?"

"I already know which one I want," Sam chimes in, smiling widely.

The woman smiled at him. "Which one would that be?"

"His name his Gabriel."

"You're kidding right? He's nuts. They're considering just giving him back to his owner so they don't have to put him down." She stared at Sam like he was crazy.

"I want him."

"Well he's still currently going through a court case to get him."

"When will he be available?" Mary frowned knowing she would have to listen to Sam whine if he didn't get him.

"If we win the case, this Saturday."

Mary nodded. "Alright well can we fill out the form then?"

"Of course," she pulled out a form and handed it to her.

"Thank you," Mary says politely.

"I hope I get him," Sam tells Dean excitedly.

Dean nodded not really listening. He was too busy spending time with his angel. "That's great Sammy." Castiel was laying on his back over Dean's lap purring at the feeling of Dean rubbing his stomach. The demon was laughing at him and snorted when he started giggling.

"Dean are you even listening to me?"

"Sorry, Sam, I'm a little sidetracked."

Sam nodded. "I bet you're happy to have him back? I'm going to have the same relationship with Gabriel."

Castiel looked up at him, tilting his head.

Dean sighed, moving Castiel so he was sitting normally on his lap and he placed an arm around his waist. "Sit down Sammy." He patted the spot next to him.

"What?" Sam asks plopping on the seat next to him.

"You realize that Cas is so close to me because I got him as a baby and he relies on me right? Plus we've spent almost every waking moment together for the last eight years. The chances of you getting a relationship with him like I have with Cas is small."

"You're not special Dean. Other people can have close relationships with their angels too." Sam crossed his arms and glared at him.

"That's not what I was getting at Sammy. I just don't want you to get your hopes up. You don't even know if you are getting him."

Sam sighed getting up from the couch. "We're going to make you and Cas look like mortal enemies."

Dean rolled his eyes and turned Cas around so he was facing him. He put his hands on either side of his face and leaned in close. "He really doesn't listen, does he?" The demon pecked Castiel's lips before he really thought about what he was doing. Both of them froze staring at each other. Finally with a soft laugh, he kissed the angel's cheek. "That was weird, was it not."

Castiel tilted his head before leaning forward again and pecking Dean again.

"Cas what are you doing?" He pushed back on Castiel stopping when he noticed something. "Where the hell is your collar?" He took the nylon strap into his hand off the angel.

The angel whined thinking he was mad at him.

"It's okay baby, I'm not mad at you. Just give me a second." He leaned over the couch and grabbed his phone. He called the angel shelter with one hand and ran his fingers through Castiel's hair with the other. "Hello. May I speak to Tessa please? Thank you. Hello Tessa, this is Dean Winchester. Yes. Well actually Cas had a collar on before, it has a sentimental value to us and I was wondering if you knew where it was. It's black leather with a silver plate on it with his name and angel wings. Oh my god, thank you. I'll be by then to pick it up. Bye." Dean smiled going to kiss Castiel's cheek but the angel turned his head and kissed him on the lips again. "Cas," Dean tries to scold but just end up smiling.

Castiel purred and rubbed his head against Dean's chest.

"Wanna go for a car ride?"

The angel nodded enthusiastically.

"Thought so," Dean picked him up and carried him to the car.

"What did they say?" Sam asks as soon as Mary hung up the phone.

"They said that you can have him on one term," Mary says kneeling down and lightly grabbing his hands.

"What's that?"

"You have to clean the living room."

"They didn't say that." Sam laughed jumping up and down.

"Yes they did, so go clean it." Mary pushed him towards the living room and got up. Looking in she saw Dean and Castiel sleeping on the couch together. She couldn't help but whip out her phone and take a picture of it.

Sam finished in record time avoiding the couch. "Okay now can we go get him?" Sam begs.

"Your Dad is almost home from work wait until then." She knelt down and lightly pet Muriel's wings. "You're going to have to keep him away from her."

"Mom," Sam pouts.

"You'll be fine Sam." Mary got back up and walked into the living room. "Dean, sweety?" Roughly, because he wouldn't wake up if she did it lightly, she shook his shoulder. "We're going to go get that angel for your brother, did you want to come?"

"Hmm," tired green eyes were revealed from behind it's lid before he yawned sitting up. The angel fell into his lap from where he was on his stomach. "No I'm going to stay here with Castiel."

Gabriel cowered down when Sam went into his cage. "It's okay," the boy demon says calmly. Sam reached out slowly and set his hand on his head. Instantly the angel relaxed. "Good boy, want to come home with me?"

Gabriel looked over at Samandriel and whined. All three demons followed his eyes to where Samandriel was.

"They said he came in with Castiel and Gabriel," Sam says frowning. "He probably doesn't want to leave him. "Maybe we can take him too?" Sam says hopefully.

John shook his head. "Have you seen how many angels we have? Including this one, about ten to many.

"It'll only be sixteen."

"Maybe Bobby would want him," Mary offers.

"Yeah!"

((I'm sorry, just going to say Samandriel ends up being owned by Bobby, and Gabriel and Sam end up being close. Not as close as Dean and Cas but close. Sorry not in the mood to write it right now but maybe this weekend.))

Castiel laid sprawled out with his head resting on Dean's shoulder. They were in Dean's room. He knew what to do. He'd seen Dean and girls do it millions of times. He got up and straddled Dean putting his hands on either side of Dean's face on the bed.

Dean looked up, green meeting blue. "What's up?"

"I love you," Castiel whispers.

The demon smiled widely. "I love you too, Cas."

The angel nodded leaning down and kissing Dean. The demon kissed him back, grabbing either side of his face.

The End
