NEW CHAPTERS! I'll be out of town for this whole week, but rest assured I will spend a mild percentage focusing on the next couple of chapters! I really like the themeing surrounding this story arc so I'm having a lot of fun writing it.
For those of you who will be no doubt confused, there is a reference to a book Elsa is reading here in the beginning. It's a book my friend is in the process of writing. It's a bizarre thing to add, but it's something I wanted to d. I might be doing that a lot, referencing stuff my friends are doing and adding them into the fic even though what they're doing hasn't been official or professionally released. If you want, you can ask me about it, she's actually finished the book and I've read it.
Rapunzel whooshed into the lounge of HQ from the mirror, excited and practically leaping into the room and flying up the stairs. "Guys!" She turned down the hallway and made for double doors on the left. She burst into the rec room and jumped on the sofa where Stitch was playing a rigorous game of 2K14. He missed a shot and and the timer hit zero, he huffed in frustration. "What are you doing sitting playing a stupid basketball game? The parade is gonna start soon! Come on!"
She hopped off the sofa and ran out of the room. Stitch groaned and paused the game.
Rapunzel ran up the stairs and looked out the balcony overlooking the training compound. Merida was skipping around practicing her shots and hitting the targets dead-on when Rapunzel called out in a high pitched melodious voice and she missed the target. Merida groaned. "Come on, Merida! The Electrical Parade is gonna start soon!" She darted out of the balcony.
Merida rolled her eyes and started packing her arrows.
Elsa was nose deep in a new book, catching up on new novels Belle recommended to her. The snow queen sat at one of the tables in the middle of the vast library's entrance. She picked up a black hard cover with purple embroidery. "Immortal Whispers is a bit of a melodramatic title, but this is pretty engaging and this is a sarcastic author. My favorite kind of literature!" She muttered to herself.
Rapunzel burst into the library and startled Elsa. "Hey Elsa!"
"Hi, Rapunzel," she said, then kept reading.
"Wrap up whatever it is you're reading! The parade is gonna start soon! Jack and Ralph are meeting us there!"
Elsa sighed. "Rapunzel I don't want to go."
Rapunzel blinked. "Why?" She then laughed. "Come on, it's your first Main Street Electrical Parade! And it's only annual!"
"Rapunzel, I really don't want to go to a parade. Not after Mickey..."
"That was two months ago!"
"I don't want to feel like we're celebrating him being gone."
"We're not celebrating it, Elsa. If anything we need the distraction. Besides, we've been coordinating with the Marvel universe, it'll be the first official united parade. Even Darth Vader and the Muppets are coming! You do not wanna miss it. It'll be a hodgepodge of franchises!"
"Are you sure you're using that word right?"
"Elsa..." Rapunzel hugged her tightly. "I miss him, too. We all do. But that doesn't mean we put our lives on hold. He wouldn't want us to." She pulled off and smiled at her.
Elsa looked at her and sighed. "Yeah. I guess you're right."
"So... Parade?" She smiled bigger.
Elsa rolled her eyes and nodded. "Parade."
"YAY!" Rapunzel squealed.
"Are you sure Rapunzel told you here?" Ralph said, looking around worriedly. "What if she just gave you a general area and miscommunicated?"
Jack sighed. "Yes, Ralph. She told me here. She literally stood here and pointed at this exact spot."
"But is this a good spot? Will we have a clear glance at the Elliot float? The new ice palace float is also pretty high up..."
"Unless the Giant or the Beast decide to be near us I think we'll be alright Ralph."
"I just wanna be sure, I love those floats..."
Jack groaned. "Where are they?"
"Rapunzel's behind us," Merida said as she and Stitch came up to them on the sidewalk of Main Street, a crowd of people lined on both sidewalks to see the Electrical Parade. It was especially packed, with now Marvel characters walking through the gates and gathering around.
Merida shoved a handful of cotton candy into her mouth. A person in an all red jumpsuit and mask, two long sharp swords sheathed to his back, came up to her. "Hey red, I'm red, let's make it a Clifford thing and-"
"Bite it," Merida snarled. He shrugged and went on his way. She looked at the others. "I swear if Deadpool ever becomes a thing for us I am quitting this Defenders thing."
"He'll probably become a thing for us," Jack said.
"He's everyone's thing. We can't escape it," Ralph replied. Merida groaned.
Rapunzel pushed through the crowd and came in between her friends. "Hey guys!"
"Where's Elsa?" Ralph said.
"Our star is taking her rightful place along a certain ice palace float!"
"So she is in the parade?" Merida asked.
Rapunzel nodded. "Ooooh..." Stitch cooed, clapping.
"That'll be nice to see," Ralph said. "Is she nervous?"
"Not unlike her usual social anxiety," Rapunzel said. "She's just still getting used to Mickey being gone and going through the motions."
"I don't think any of us can get used to it," Merida said.
"Yeah, but it's just effecting her more. She's the youngest out of all of us."
"I imagine it took some convincing to get her moving?" Jack asked.
"Yeah, but in the end it'll be worth it," Rapunzel said.
Someone wriggled their way in between Rapunzel and Merida, and Anna popped her head out. She smiled awkwardly. "Hey guys! Sorry we're late, Sven had a late snack and then we got stuck behind Jack Skellington's skeleton reindeer. Kristoff and Sven are behind us in front of the haberdashery."
"You're just in time! The parade's about to start!" Rapunzel said. The lights went out and Rapunzel and Anna squealed in excitement.
"See, you two are the exact same person," Merida said. "Literally, clones."
"And now, ladies and gentlemen!" An electronic voice boomed. "The 2014 Annual Main Street Electrical Parade!"
The music started and instantly everyone started bobbing and dancing. "It sounds so annoying, but it really makes me wanna jam," Merida said.
"I know. That's how it mostly works with everything in this place," Jack replied.
"I'm not sure if I'm against it or if I'm about that," Merida added.
The first float came out, a large circular float with the words "Disney's Electrical Parade" blinking and fading in out between flashes of bright light. A few people sighed in sadness as Mickey was supposed to lead off the parade in an elaborately decorated chair sitting at the end of the float.
However, it was immediately followed by bright spectacles that were boosted with added touches magic, the parade changed, added, and became more and more alive with every new year. It was the mos beautiful thing to see aside from the castle fireworks. An ocean breeze blew in and lights danced in a watery style as Sebastian led into the Under The Sea portion, Ariel ending it all with a float that lit up her fins.
The section was followed by the princess section, Belle, Aurora, Jasmine and Tiana dancing with their princes in glowing dresses and matching uniforms. A float with Drisella and Anastasia came by, Cinderella's glass slipper resting on a pedestal in the middle.
The float was followed by a pumpkin carriage that faded from bright white lights to orange lights whenever the Fairy Godmother waved her wand. Cinderella looked out the window and waved at people as she came by. She noticed the team, smiled, and blew a kiss to them. They all waved back, all of them - even Jack - smiling from the recognition.
Anna looked at Rapunzel. "Have you ever been in the parade?"
Rapunzel nodded. "Twice, in 2011 when 'Tangled' was huge. The float was pretty. My tower was in bright purple and yellow colors and my dress was fabulous. Then in 2012 and Eugene I led this nice glowing gondola with lanterns around me and dancing behind my float and it was immediately followed by Merida's Dun Broch float-"
"Merida was in the parade?" Jack, Anna and Ralph said in unison.
Merida groaned. "Yes. Like, once. And my mum insisted we accept the warm welcome since the movie was still new."
"Oh you liked it," Rapunzel said.
She shrugged. "Not saying I didn't."
"That was actually the first time we met," Rapunzel said.
"I didn't know you knew each other before," Anna said.
"We've all mostly met each other before the Defenders," Rapunzel said. "I've met Merida and Ralph."
"I met Rapunzel, Ralph and Jack," Merida said.
"Rapunzel, Merida and Stitch," Ralph said.
"Stitch and Merida," Jack added. Stitch confirmed in a grunt and a nod.
"Wow that's kinda cool," Anna said.
"When you're Disney characters in a world you have eternity in, you're bound to meet other characters," Rapunzel said.
"Oh my gosh..." Anna's eyes widened as the final float came out, following the Elliot the Dragon float. It was bright white, glowing lights replacing snow and sheets of magical ice and snowflakes sprinkled into the sky and trickled down like a glowing rain and snow.
Elsa commanded her magic in a blue and silver dress at the base of a small makeshift lighted hill, a replica of her ice palace shining bright on its top. The lights danced and swirled around the float and around her, the shine flowing as the float did. Elsa twirled around, a big genuine smile on her face and shot a large snowy energy that erupted from her body. The energy shot just above her float and exploded in sheets of shining snow that scattered around Main Street.
Olaf was on top a smaller, snowy float, covered in Christmas lights and a sun-like orb behind him, a strung up palm tree resting on the float as well. The float glided across the street in front of Elsa's, approaching each side of the street quickly. Olaf waved at the crowd with a big grin, excited just to be there. He saw the team and waved vigorously. "Hi guys!"
Anna giggled. "Hey, Olaf!"
Elsa glanced over at her friends and smiled. She mouthed the words "Thank you," to Rapunzel who nodded.
Suddenly, the Elliot float in front of Elsa and Olaf was chucked to the side, flying in the air and landing into a grassy meadow. Elsa looked straight to Rhino rushing down Main Street, coming straight for her.
Ralph pushed off the ground and leapt in front of Olaf, lightly tapping the float back toward Elsa's float. "Olaf! Quick hop on!"
Olaf jumped onto the float and ran by her side. "What's going on?" He asked in frantic.
"I don't know, Olaf..."
"This is a thinly-veiled threat, dear Snow Queen!" A small round device landed on the tip of the ice palace replica. Elsa's eyes widened as she realized what it was, but it was too late. The replica exploded and the entire float melted away in green goop.
Elsa and Olaf fell onto the asphalt of Main Street, onto the green goop. Elsa shook her head and look down. The green was all over the front of her dress, the lights were dimming and completely disappearing. Suddenly holes were beginning to appear in her dress. She gasped and stood up, shaking her dress to get the liquid off. She looked over and saw Olaf in pieces, slowly melting. "Olaf!" She gasped.
Elsa summoned her ice magic and lifted his pieces into the air. "It's okay, I'm good. But I think you should probably deal with that weird cheetah dude behind you."
A bullwhip wrapped around Elsa's wrist and pulled her backward, forcing the magic holding Olaf to throw him to the sidewalk. By now, Main Street had been nearly cleared out, people running into the alleys of Main Street to avoid the attacks. Olaf looked around. "Um, not to inconvenience anyone, but can somebody put me together again?"
"Kristoff," Anna said, turning to her boyfriend and his reindeer. "You and Sven help me with Olaf." She turned to Rapunzel as Merida and Jack jumped into the action. "Rapunzel, I'll try to get Olaf and the rest of Main Street cleared out. I'm gonna get Cinderella and Walt on this to give you guys backup."
"Sounds like a plan, Anna," Rapunzel said.
"Rapunzel..." Rapunzel looked at Anna, nodding. "Please... Keep Elsa safe."
Rapunzel nodded. "I will." Anna followed Kristoff and Sven to pick up Olaf.
The Green Goblin and Vulture flew up above, throwing bombs and green liquid onto the buildings. The buildings began to simmer and melt away, dripping more of the goop. Elsa shot ice at one of the bombs, but the ice merely dissolved and it exploded. "What is this stuff?"
"You could say you're walking on thin ice!" The Goblin shouted.
"Oh you're the one making the lame inside joke," Elsa groaned.
The Goblin laughed maniacally until Stitch somehow managed to hop onto his glider and bites its engine off. "How do you do that?!"
"Beats me!" Stitch hopped off and landed on the ground as the glider exploded in town square, with more of the green goop spilled everywhere.
"Didn't we JUST fix Main Street?" Merida sighed.
"This poor land experiences too much activity despite the amount of destruction it goes through," Jack said.
Ralph made an impact hole in the ground in front of the Emporium after being sent back by Rhino. He lifted his head out of the ground. "Ow."
"Ralph!" Rapunzel gasped.
"Rapunzel!" Rapunzel turned to Merida, Jack and Stitch, aimed at a man in dense fur clothing, holding Elsa's wrist by a bullwhip tightly.
"Defenders, is it?" He said.
Rapunzel tilted her head. "Who are you?"
He groaned. "Kraven The Hunter?" She shook her head. "I promise you, I am very well known in the Marvel universe."
"Oh well that explains the confusion," Merida said.
"Alright!" He tugged on the whip and Elsa's hand shot back, shooting ice magic at the clocktower, freezing it over. "One toe out of line, and the entire Main Street gets coated in ice!"
Elsa blinked. "Wait that's your master plan?" Elsa turned to him. "That's not how magic works."
"Oh really? And how does it?" Elsa raised an eyebrow as the bullwhip began frosting and hardening. With a swift motion she yanked her arm to the side and the whip shattered into pieces. He nodded. "Oh."
Merida yelped as she was lifted into the air by talons. Elsa looked up and prepared to shoot ice at Vulture. "Elsa!" She looked to see Anna coming up the street, Rhino right behind her.
"Anna!" Elsa ran to her. Anna then moved out of the way as Elsa fell into Rhino's big arms, crushed in his enormity. "Anna!"
Anna's figure shifted and a man in a green suit, long violet cloak and a fish bowl helmet stepped up to her. Mysterio. "So predictable."
Long mechanical arms bounded over Rhino and Mysterio, approaching the team. Stitch leapt into the air to tackle Doctor Octopus, but he was suddenly shot with a dart and he fell to the ground, groggy. Kraven reloaded his gun with another dart.
Doc Ock laughed. "Oh the things one can accomplish with an actual plan. Something that Asgardian fool couldn't do." He lowered himself down in front of Rapunzel. He was carrying a paintbrush, its tip dipped in the green goop. "I believe it's time some real Villains show you what evil is like."
Rapunzel sneered. "The Sinister Six."
He laughed. "Correct! Perhaps your intellect does supersede your simple demeanor." He flung the green liquid at Jack, who flinched as his pistol dissolved. "You all probably don't even know what this is."
"It's magical thinner," Rapunzel said. The Doc looked at her, befuddled. "From Epic Mickey. Not like it's some old movie, the video game came out like three years ago."
"Well you might know what it is, but you can't do anything about it!"
"Okay, well you got me there."
He held the paintbrush to her face. "Now, Defenders!" He grinned. "You are no more!" Suddenly, silvery thin rope attached to his hand and tugged it backward, throwing the thinner around. Rapunzel ducked and rolled out of the way and looked to the top of the Cinema to see a familiar hero. Doc Ock huffed. "Spider-Man?!"
"Hey, Doc! I've got a congestion problem. You guys showing up everywhere I go really clogs up my schedule. Wouldn't happen to have any suggestions?"
"I've got a few! Just let me take care of a little bug problem and I'll get right to it!" He shot a mechanical arm toward Spider-Man who leapt into the air and landed on the ground on his feet.
"Well I gotta say, like any good lousy doctor, you really don't know how to sort out your priorities." He shot webs at the hands of his arms, shutting them together.
He jumped in the air and shot a large web into Vulture's path. He fell into the trap and tangled his wings. In vain, he let Merida go and turned his attention to free himself. "What a strange turn of events. The bird gets white stuff dumped on it."
Kraven gave a loud battle cry and charged at him. Spidey jumped up and spin his webs around the hunter, tangling him in a cocoon of web. He landed on his shoulders and hit him in the face. Skipped off and landed light in his feet as Kraven fell to the ground. "And the hunter becomes the hunted!" He pointed at Rapunzel and Jack, expecting some response. He shrugged. "Yeah, I've done better."
"Spider-Man!" He turned to a red-haired girl, running to him frantically. "Spider-Man help!"
He sighed and shot a web that phased through the girl and coated Mysterio's helmet. Blinded, the hologram disappeared. "You guys can't even give me a challenge today? And to think you only came to bully a bunch of children's cartoons."
The Green Goblin screeched from his glider's impact site and threw a pumpkin bomb at him. "Yawn." He quickly spun around and caught the bomb in a web line, spun around again and sent it back at the Goblin. The bomb exploded, more thinner splashing everywhere, sending the Goblin soaring into the train station.
Rhino laughed. Spider-Man turned to him. "Oh hey big guy! It's been a while! How ya doin'?"
"Spider-Man, you're too late to-"
"Ugh! Enough!" Elsa shouted and Rhino began to frost and ice was coating his suit. She forced his arms to open and she floated down, sticking her chin in the air. Rhino broke free of the little ice on him and reached out to grab her. She turned around and instantly blasted snowy magic at him, trapping him in a strong, solid block of ice. Elsa turned back to the others and walked with purpose to Spider-Man. She grinned. "So. A bunch of children's cartoons, huh?"
"Alright, I don't say this all the time," Spider-Man said, "but that was awesome!"
"You may have won this time, Spider-Man, but the Defenders will fall!" Doc Ock snapped the webbing trapping his arms and he stood up on two of them. "This Kingdom will be drowning in enough thinner to destroy what light and purity is left, and I shall use the magical paint to create a world fit for me to rule! And no one is going to stop me!" One of his arms reached down and picked up the cocooned Kraven and the other picked up Mysterio, still struggling with the web on his helmet.
Merida shot arrows at him and Elsa shot sheets of her ice magic, but he was too swift and he was in the air, far from the reach. Merida groaned. "Where did he even get thinner from?!"
"I thought the magic thinner was kept locked away in Yen Sid's vaults after Epic Mickey became a thing?" Elsa said.
"Which is why you can imagine, it comes as such a shock, love," Jack replied. Elsa rolled her eyes.
"Rapunzel!" Ralph shouted. "Your hair!" Everyone gasped.
"What are you-" Her hair fell forward, the braids coming undone. She saw why, her hair was turning brown and she could feel it getting shorter. "What's going on?!"
"Oh no-" Elsa started running to her.
"No! Stand back!" Walt appeared out of nowhere, Cinderella and Anna at his side. Cinderella was still in her parade dress, all lit up. Walt knelt down and brought a bright blue liquid to her hair - magical paint ink.
Elsa and Spider-Man stood next to each other, huddling around the two in the middle along with Merida, Ralph, Stitch and Jack. "Oh no…" Elsa practically whispered. "The thinner…"
"I thought I got out of the way…" Rapunzel said. "But I guess he got some on my hair…"
"You lost so much…" Anna said.
Walt sighed. "I can only stop the thinner from going any further. It's going to take a lot of magic paint and a lot of sorcerer's magic to restore your hair, Punz."
"Oh, sweetie…" Cinderella said, putting a hand on her shoulder.
Rapunzel's eyes swelled. "He thinned my hair…"
"And more than half of Main Street," Merida said. They all looked at the gaping lack of color and objects on top the buildings and the barren look of town square.
"I'd honestly take the damage Loki did over how eerie this place looks without color…" Jack muttered. He suddenly became aware of how hard Rapunzel's sobs were. "Ah… Lass… Don't- Oh don't cry!"
"But…" She said through her tears. "But how can I help you guys? How… How can I heal you?"
"No, don't do that to yourself!" Elsa leaned down and pulled her up, hugging her shoulders. "This isn't your fault, this is just bad luck. We'll get through this."
"Yeah!" Ralph said. "We'll just go back over to the castle, get some more paint and get Yen Sid to fix your hair!"
"I'm afraid it's not that simple," Walt said.
"What do you mean?" Anna asked.
"The paint's gone," he replied. "Thinner, too. All of it. The Kingdom's only supply of paint and thinner that were supposed to be protected and reserved only for extreme emergencies-" he looked at the team, "-like when certain people have a standoff that gets out of control in Main Street-" Merida and Jack just shrugged, "-have been stolen."
"Doc Ock…" Spider-Man groaned.
"My only guess."
"But how?" Rapunzel said, coming out of her daze. "How did he get to the paint and thinner?"
"Mysterio has illusion technology," Spider-Man said. "Maybe he managed to get past your security?"
"Security isn't really a thing," Elsa said. "Things like magic paint and thinner that essentially have control over creation and destruction don't get put in archives or museums. We keep them locked up in Headquarters. And only Defenders and Consultants have access to HQ using enchanted mirrors. If you don't have the access, then you don't get in." She blinked. "Unless…"
"Unless what?" Merida raised an eyebrow.
Elsa shook her head. "Unless you have somebody inside. But the only anything willing to help them inside is Venom, and he's being kept in a sealed off magical cell."
"But if you're already inside the castle, would access to mirrors be easy from there?" Spider-Man pondered.
Elsa shrugged. "Sure. At that point if you're in there nothing's really off limits."
"The symbiote in his suit is specifically designed to corrupt and taint. Speaking from experience. I'm thinking Venom got into contact with the Sinister Six and they used his access to your HQ and sabotage you guys from within."
"And this was phase one of something much bigger," Rapunzel said. Spider-Man nodded.
"Out of curiosity, why are you keeping Venom here?"
"We're the only ones that can," Elsa said. "Or so we thought. We had captured Mystique, the Winter Soldier and Venom during the battle at Maleficent's fortress. S.H.I.E.L.D. had been constantly attempting to keep them locked up, but they always get out."
"I guess we seriously misjudged exactly what Venom was capable of," Merida said.
"Note to self," Walt muttered. "Make enchanted mirrors Venom-proof."
"Well what do we do now?" Rapunzel said. "No thinner to withhold from Doctor Octopus, and no paint to clean up the mess. We're stuck!"
Walt looked at Cinderella. "Not exactly…"
"You want us to do what?" Merida said. The Defenders, Anna, Walt, Cinderella and Spider-Man walked up a tower of steps somewhere inside the castle. Most of them were out of breathe.
"Technically, we just need you to get more paint and thinner," Cinderella responded.
"But you also said we needed to find somebody?" Rapunzel heaved.
"Yes. Call it a rescue mission of sorts," Walt said.
Elsa turned to Anna. "Do you know what they're talking about?"
Anna put her hands up. "Hey, don't look at me. I'm new at this."
Walt stopped at a regular wooden door. A bright light shone through the small square window on it glowed periodically. Walt went through his pocket and took out a single key. He put it into the keyhole, turned it and opened the door. They all walked into a large, open, mystical room with rows of huge tomes and a starry sky.
In the middle of the room was Yen Sid, resting in a crimson, velvet chair, a tome opened on the bookstand in front of him. Jutting from the book was what looked like a smaller version of the Magic Kingdom, and also dirtier and incomplete. "Welcome, welcome. Step all the way in, please."
Rapunzel glanced at the door as she walked out, the door from this side looked taller and was solid gold. As the door closed, she noticed a black shadow moving on the floor. She blinked and shook her head, sure she had imagined it.
"As I come to understand, Mr. Disney," Yen Sid said. "You request access to the Wasteland."
All but Walt and Cinderella gasped. "The Wasteland?!"
"Wait," Spider-Man said. "What's that?"
"It's the world from the video game Epic Mickey," Rapunzel said, still in shock. "A world where forgotten and abandoned Disney projects go to live. But I didn't think it was actually real…"
"As you know, Rapunzel," Yen Sid replied, "all things Disney are created and come alive here."
"Which is why it wouldn't exist," Elsa said.
"True, for the Wasteland is its own world. However, it is, also, its own entity. It is Disney, after all. And after all this time, the name Disney has become a powerful name, to the degree that just by being of Disney creation, the Wasteland formed itself." They began murmuring to each other, absorbing this new information in.
"The reason you had not been informed prior, is because knowing of the Wasteland is privileged information. The Wasteland is a powerful realm that gives us paint and thinner. Powers no one, not even Maleficent, should possess. But it is important that you know now, for without the Wasteland, the Kingdom will be doomed!"
"Okay…" Rapunzel said. "But we're not just getting paint and thinner from the Wasteland. There's more to it than that." Walt and Cinderella looked at each other. Yen Sid looked her straight in the eye, never wavering. "What… Is it?"
Yen Sid nodded. "We have reason to believe a lost comrade was banished to the Wasteland. We have been receiving frantic calls for help from the Wasteland's tome, calls we had not received for quite some time. We feared to worst of Oswald The Lucky Rabbit, but these calls and messages were unique and did not resemble anything he could have sent."
Rapunzel, Elsa and Jack stepped forward. "What were these messages?" Rapunzel said.
"Well, to just jump right into it…" Yen Sid waved his hand in the air and the tome flipped a handful of pages. It stopped abruptly and they all gasped again. Right smack in the middle of the two pages was a large, illuminated, Mickey insignia, the words "RESCUE MICKEY" displayed in the middle. "The night Mickey fell into that wormhole, he sent himself into the Wasteland. Ever since, we've been receiving nothing other than distress calls and messages practically begging us to rescue him."
"Mickey wouldn't be this desperate unless…" Walt said, his fear betraying his calm.
"Unless our fears are true," Cinderella said, finishing it for him. "Something's happened in the Wasteland." She looked at the Defenders. "And it probably has something to do with Organization XIII."
CHAPTER 23 - RESCUE MICKEY PART 1
The moment has arrived… It's up to the Defenders to journey into the heart of the Wasteland and find Mickey Mouse as he and Oswald The Lucky Rabbit battle it out with Organization XIII, Kingdom Hearts's most notorious Villains, and acquire enough paint and thinner to stop the Sinister Six from causing the deadliest threat the Kingdom has faced yet. But what can they do when Rapunzel's hair has been rendered useless and the one Keyblade Master that can help them escape Xemnas's wrath is locked up tight in the prison cells of Dark Beauty castle?
