"My parents refuse to leave at the same time, because they think as soon as we're alone, we'll start going at it like rabbits." Scorpius sighed. "We should teach them a lesson by ravishing each other at dinner"
"I think that's a terrible idea. Maybe if we lay off the PDA, they'll leave us alone." Albus suggested.
Scorpius thought it over, and figured that it would be a better plan than his.
"Fine then, don't touch me." Scorpius said. "And stop wearing such tight fitting jeans. That would help a lot."
)
Two days later, when Scorpius was about to cave in, and try and find Al and a closet to make out in, Astoria came up to him.
"Your father and I have to go to a work banquet tonight. We're trusting you two to behave. The upstairs is off limits while we are gone. We've told the house elves that if they see both you and Albus up there at the same time to report it to us immediately. We can come back home within five minutes." It almost seemed like a threat.
"Yes mother." Scorpius said, trying not to roll his eyes. "We'll be good."
"Good. It took a lot of convincing to persuade your father not to call Grandma to come watch over you, so don't let me down." Astoria paused. "Have a nice night sweetie."
Scorpius couldn't get to Albus fast enough to tell him the news. He finally found him in the kitchen, fixing himself a snack.
"Guess what!" Scorpius said, trying to contain his excitement.
"What?"
"My parents are leaving for some fancy work thing, so we're all alone for the night." Scorpius grinned.
Albus looked skeptical. "Your parents are just leaving us alone? All night?"
"Well, we can't go upstairs, but other than that, yeah, they are."
"What do you want to do then?" Albus asked.
Scorpius paused. He hadn't really thought about that. He had been so excited about being left alone with Albus that he hadn't even stopped to wonder what they were actually going to do.
"Um, well, I'm not sure but we can plan that when we get there. Your plan worked though!" Scorpius kissed the other man, and then went off to change into some different clothes.
Albus smirked, but Scorpius' uncertainty made him nervous. Were they actually going to have sex? He decided to take a quick second look at his book, just in case.
)
After Scorpius had changed into an outfit he liked, he went off in search of Albus, who was sitting on the couch in the living room, fidgeting. Scorpius wondered if he was nervous because they were actually alone now. It definitely put more pressure on both of them, considering it probably wouldn't happen again until they got back to Hogwarts.
"So, what would you like to do?" Scorpius asked, sitting next to the other man.
Albus thought it over. He was too bloody nervous to eat, but he really didn't think that they should jump right into the making out part. "How about we watch a movie?" Albus asked.
One of the first things Al had noticed when he got to the Malfoy Manor was that Scorpius' family owned a TV and DVD player. That had surprised him because of how anti-muggle the Malfoy's were, or at least, used to be. He figured it had probably been Astoria's idea. She was much more laid back than Draco, but you could tell she ran the house, even if Draco didn't know it. She reminded him a lot of the women in his family.
"Alright." Scorpius said. "Which one?"
"Um, I don't care. Choose your favorite."
Scorpius skimmed through the selection of movies, and settled on one. He popped it into the DVD player and sat back down next to Albus.
"Do you want a blanket?" he asked. Albus nodded, and Scorpius went to get a blanket out of the closet.
"There's only one but it should be big enough for both of us." Scorpius hoped it didn't sound like an excuse. There truly was only one blanket. Not that Scorpius minded it though.
They settled in to watch the movie, which ended up being The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. This surprised Al. Every once in a while, one of them would scoot closer to the other, until they were eventually snuggling on the couch.
Halfway through the movie, Albus heard light snoring beside him. He smiled, thinking about how mad Scorpius would be when he woke up. He would probably apologize for sleeping through the one and only night they got alone, but Albus didn't mind. While he definitely wanted to move to the next level with Scorpius, he didn't want them to rush just because they had a couple hours alone. That was silly, and they would probably regret it.
)
"Aww, look at them." Astoria said, grinning. "That's so cute, let me get the camera!"
"What do you think they were doing that made them so tired?" Draco asked, still suspicious. He had been a teenage boy at one point after all. He knew they had raging hormones.
"Oh, be quiet. They were watching a movie together. I told you we could trust them." Astoria said with a superior grin.
"I suppose. Should we wake them up, or leave them down here?"
"Let's leave them. No need to ruin a happy moment." Astoria snapped a couple of pictures. "Now, let's go upstairs before we wake them."
)
Scorpius woke up the next morning, feeling uncomfortably stiff. He realized why, when he saw that he had slept on the couch all night. "Al, wake up."
"What?" He said, his voice heavy with sleep.
"Urm, I'm sorry, I fell asleep on you. That probably ruined the night didn't it?"
"No, of course not. You're incredibly cute when you're sleeping." Albus grinned.
"You're not mad that I ruined the expectations?" Scorpius still couldn't bring himself to say sex.
"No. We don't have to shag just because your parents are out." Albus shook his head. Scorpius really was thick headed sometimes.
"Just tell me when you're ready, okay?" Scorpius nodded, though the pressure of that responsibility kind of scared him.
They lay together for a while longer, talking and occasionally kissing, until breakfast was ready.
"You two seemed comfy last night." Astoria said, grinning.
Albus blushed. "We fell asleep watching a movie." He assured her, hoping she didn't think they had actually shagged on the couch.
Astoria assured Albus that they were aware of that and that they appreciated their self control. As embarrassing as the conversation was, Albus was glad that Scorpius' parents finally seemed to trust him.
"Can we please not talk about shagging this early in the morning? Or ever, really." Scorpius asked.
"I second that." Draco said, obviously uncomfortable with the conversation.
"Well, I'll be in the study if you need me. Your father is going to work, he got called in." Both boys nodded, and they were promptly left alone.
A/N: Sorry to tease everyone. I have a habit of doing that. I hoped you liked the chapter, and don't forget to review c: (plus go check out my beta Gracie_x)
