"Wake up sleepyhead" a voice called.

Alika just snuggled more into his side as the plane began to decent, after the cute moment from the previous night, they both decided to turn in early so that they could catch an early flight to Detroit, Shawn and Scott where also going back to San Antonio and Miami that they but were not leaving till midday.

"Hey wake up" he laughed as she was refusing to open her eyes. She was about to ask for a few more minutes, but the bump from planes contact with the ground told her that she did not have that grace.

"Ok I'm up" she said stretching to the best of her abilities, before she got up from her seat as they came out of the plane. They got their stuff and started to walk towards the exit.

"So what's the plan" she asked looking up at him.

"Well, my cousin's coming to pick us up to take us home" he said but he didn't sound too happy.

"Oh...OK" she said as a huge car drove in front of them, a man stepped out of the driver side and like she wasn't there, he went and hugged Kevin.

"Good to see you Kevin, you look great" the man said

"Good to see you Kyle"

"And you must be Alika" he said stretching his hand out "I'm Kyle nice to meet you"

"Like wise" she said taking his hand which he held a bit too hard.

"Well i hate interrupt but I'll be in the car" Kevin said hoping in the back seat with Alika following in toll, and soon they where on their way.

Kyle looked in the rear view mirror at the couple who where asleep in the back, his cousin must be so naive if he thinks that she was a keeper, she was technically a foreigner and from the conversations he has been hearing , English was not even her first language.

"Guess it's up to me to correct this mistake" he said as he drove in front of the house gate, punching in the password the gates opened and he drove inside.

"Hey Kevin, were here" he said waking them up.

"I hear you, lili wake up, you can sleep when we get inside"

"That's OK ,but how about breakfast first" she said as he helped her out of the car, as he helped her Kyle noticed the ring on her finger and hoped it was not was he thought it was. As they entered the house.

Alika felt like a kid in a candy store, the house was not only huge; it was beautiful, she felt like she was in a palace not her boyfriend's house.

"not bad for a bachelor" she said as she began to explore the building, the living room was perfect for if they wanted to stay at home together or if the family wanted to come over, huge TV, comfy sofas and nice carpets, his own gym with his weights and such.

"Come with me" he said as he lead her up the stairs and down a hall way "and this is our room" he said opening the door and she stepped in, the room was a bit unlike the rest of the house as it was a bit plain, the bed was as big as she expected , with white and blue sheets on, but she found the room very cute just like the owner, but some thing caught her eye, on the bed side table was a photo of a little boy being held in the arms of an older man, taking a closer look at the little boy, her eyes widened as she could she could recognize those green eyes anywhere.

"That was taken 22 years ago" his voice said as he sat on the bed "two weeks before he died of a heart attack"

"What?" she said turning to face him and walked to join him "sweetheart why didn't you tell me" she asked but he just looked away as he shrugged his shoulders, but he soon looked back when he hear her crying.

"That's not fair, my father is a self proclaimed hero who cares only about himself and his greedy ways but yet he is still alive, yet your father left at the age you and your mother needed him most, i can only imagine how hard it was for both you especially you" she said as he held close stroking her soft hair, comforting one another in silence.

Kyle was in the living room waiting for them to come down, he could only imagine how much she had taken already from him, but his train of thought was soon interrupted by the sound of them coming down the stairs into kitchen, after a while he followed them into the kitchen where he meet them joking around as she was trying to cook

"Hey Kevin, the family just called, they hope you'll be coming tomorrow"

"Well yeah when have i ever missed Christmas with them?" he said looking at Alika working her magic on the cooker "so lili what do you want to do today"

"Stay at home thank you very much" she said serving him his breakfast and coffee "Kyle did you want anything"

"No I'm good"

"Ok" she said taking her seat next to Kevin when she noticed something "lefty"

"Excuse me" he replied

"I just noticed you're a lefty" she said with a giggle causing him to roll his eyes at her childishness as they continued eating but Kyle rolled his eyes at something else.

The rest of the day went quite well, after a nap they went for a drive to show her the city, they even had lunch and she was quite surprised at how the people acted toward him there than when he was some where else, after the tour they went back home, had dinner and where now wondering what movie to watch.

"So what do you think we should watch?"

"How about..." Alika said as she looked through the list "this one"

"Sarafina?" he asked with an unsure look "i don't know, I've never watched it"

"I have, loved the part when they shoot down the school kids" Kyle said as he stepped into the room but as soon as he came in Kevin took him out.

"Hey what wrong with you" Kevin asked with no sign of a joke in his voice

"What, it's just a movie"

"Thats not the point, I'm going to tell you this once so listen well, what ever you have against her for what ever reason you better drop it cause if you don't, I'm not scared of anyone and no one can stop me from putting you in your place got it ?"

"Got it"

"You better have" Kevin said going back inside to join Alika on the sofa as they watched the movie in contented silence.

The movie ended and they decided to turn in early after all it was Christmas the next day and they had a full day ahead of them, so they changed into their night wear and hopped into bed

"Lili, i know this out of the blue" he said as he lay down beside her and putting his arms around her "but do you like it here"

"I like anywhere as long as where there together" she replied laying her head on his chest "why?"

"Nothing" he said with a smile as he kissed the top of her head causing her to giggle "just wondering"

"OK then" she said reaching up to kiss him" good night"

"Night angel" he replied as he turned off the light and they fell asleep.
