I know it's been a while, i kind of lost my way with writing. Writers block is the worst but am getting though it. i know its short but the next one should be longer. Thank you to everyone who reads this and a very big thank you to those who review, you inspire me to keep writing.
"Who are you and why are you and your pack on my territory?" asked Hunter as he looked over the strangers on his land. Ryura narrowed his eyes at the male and sniffed the air, finding traces of her on him. It was a few days old but he could still smell her, like her scent had stuck to him. Which was a good thing for him, he would be able to smell her on anyone.
"We are looking for someone, Keiko" replied Ryura looking over the pack that surrounded them, not bothered by them. He knew they could take them if need be, though they wouldn't attack a hunter wolf without real reason too.
"And what makes you think I know her?" stated Hunter raising a brow to see what he would say.
"The fact that her scent is on you, am guessing you do!" Ryura stated taking a step, the wind blowing slightly around him. The wolves started growling looking to their Alpha for his lead.
"Calm down hunter wolf, she's not here and hasn't been here for about a week" replied Hunter rolling his eyes, not threatened by him but keeping a close eyes on him.
"Ryura she's not here, we should leave" said Kyora looking around. The pack waited for him to make his decision.
"Where did she go?" he asked and Hunter sighed.
"I don't know the lady Alpha did not tell me" he said crossing his arms over his chest, his lip twitching into a smug smile.
"Lady Alpha" whispered Jakotsu looking to Kouga, the other shrugging in response.
"What did you just say" hissed Ryura narrowing his eyes.
"I said the Lady Alpha did not say where she was going, so unfortunately I cannot tell since I do not know" replied Hunter rolling his eyes.
"I heard what you said" hissed Ryura clenching his fists. "Why are you calling her that?"
"What, Lady Alpha. Well because she is a women and the Alpha of her pack" said Hunter watching him with narrowed eyes. "A strong female Alpha that has my respect and is an ally of mine now, we have no qualms hunter wolf however if you have one with her then you also have one with us"
"That women is my mate" hissed Ryura and Hunter scoffed.
"That means nothing to me, she is my ally not you however I do not see the point in fighting you" said Hunter turning away and heading back towards his home, throwing a look over his shoulder. "She went south that is all I know now I would like it if you got off of my territory"
The pack watched as the wolfs turned and followed their Alpha, meaning a fight was not on the cards. The others turned to Ryura to see what he would do next. "Looks like were going south" hissed Ryura turning on his heel and storming to the car.
"He's pissed" whispered Jakotsu as they followed.
"No shit" replied Kouga.
"Lady Alpha hmm" mused Hiten, a smirk lighting up his face in amusement.
Keiko opened her eyes and giggled, she loved the look on Ryura's face when Hunter had told him she was an Alpha now. "What you laughing at?" asked Bankotsu as he sat down next to her on the couch. They had rented a house in a residential area for now, to throw Ryura off their track. He would look for them closer to the woods like most wolfs would.
"You should have seen Ryura's face when Hunter called me an Alpha" she giggled turning to him.
"I wish I could have seen that, he must have been furious" laughed Bankotsu leaning back on the couch. Keiko nodded and leaned against him yawning.
"Yeah, he was!" she said smiling softly looking around the room. "Ban, do you ever think about what would happen if we were normal people?"
"What do you mean?" he asked turning to her.
"Do you ever wonder where we would be if we were never turned, if we were just normal humans?" she asked rolling the idea around in her head.
"I used to, now honestly I wouldn't wish for anything to be different" replied Bankotsu smiling while pushing a piece of hair behind her ear. "If Hiten had not changed us I never would have met you and that would be one hell of a shame Keiko."
"Ban" she whispered softly.
"Everything we have been through has made us the people we are today and anyway human life is boring" he chuckled making her giggle.
"How do I do it?" she asked biting her lip.
"Do what?"
"Bring a child into this world, a world of running all the time. Running and hiding from hunter's, from Ryura and not having the humans find out. How do I protect a child? How do I raise one? I don't know how to be a mother Ban" whimpered Keiko as tears streamed down her cheeks.
"You don't, we do. I am here for you Keiko I always have been and you have Jake and Sam. We are not going anywhere and we are all in this together, that's what a real pack is. Not the shitty sham of a pack Ryura led, you are a true Alpha Keiko and you are going to be a great mother" Bankotsu said holding her face in his hands. Wiping away the tears. "We do this together, am here for the long run no matter what. Hiten and Ryura both let you down, I won't and I never have"
"I know Ban, I know you have always been on my side. Protecting me from the very beginning" she stated.
"Then why are you so afraid, I know you feel the connection we have. Why am I not good enough?" he asked hurt. Keiko shook her head.
"Don't, don't ever thing like that Ban" she whimpered holding onto his face, running her fingers though his bangs. "Every man I have ever had in my life has hurt me, am afraid Ban of getting hurt again"
"I would never hurt you Keiko, you know that" he chocked hurt that she would think he would do something like that after everything they had been through.
"I would be hurt if you got hurt, if anything happened to you" sobbed Keiko "I couldn't live with myself if you got hurt because of me"
"Keiko" whispered Bankotsu warmth and guilt hitting him.
"I care for you too much to hurt you in anyway"
"Keiko, we will never know what will happen in the future but I know every second counts and I don't want to live my life regretting not giving it a chance because we are afraid of the future. We need to stop being afraid and enjoy the time we have" stated Bankotsu before pressing his lips to hers. Keiko gasped and wrapped her arms around his neck, feeling everything he had been hiding in the kiss. The hurt, the pain, the happiness and love. "At least give me a chance"
"Okay" said Keiko as they leaned against each other.
so i didn't see this coming, sometimes i surprise myself with what i write but that's the best thing about being a writer even you can be shocked by what your characters and story make you do, if you all get that xD
