The couple walked up to Cloud's old home and tried his old key which successfully opened the door. Cloud stood in the living room as memories of the fire entered his mind, he grabbed his head and fell to his knee's.

Seeing this Tifa rushed over to him, "Cloud, are you alright?"

After the initial torrent, the memories became less intense and he was able to ignore them. He stood and looked up at her. "Yes, I am fine. I just got overwhelmed by memories is all, I'm fine now."

"Ok, well if it happens again, we're going home to edge," she said as she walked over to the kitchen to find a kettle.

An hour later Cloud had finished unpacking the small suitcase they brought with them, and had joined Tifa in the living room on the sofa.

"So, shall we go explore the town see what's changed?" He asked her,

She grabbed his arm wrapped it around her shoulder and placed her head on his chest. "Can we just stay here, and relax?"

"Yes, we can do that." He said allowing her rest her head on him chest to get comfortable.

An hour later Tifa had her shoes off and was curled up sleeping in Clouds lap. When a knocking at the door woke her up.

"Can you go answer that Cloud, I'm too comfortable here," she asked lazily.

"I can't, you're sleeping in my lap here." She looked around and realised he was correct.

"No wonder I'm so comfortable then." She sid cupping his left cheek with her hand, before getting up and stretching. She debated ignoring the door as the person knocked again, "Coming," she said glaring at the door.

"Hello," she spoke opening the door.

"Tifa? I heard you wasn't keeping up your training?" the familiar man said without greeting her.

"Sensei Zangan? I thought you were in Gongaga. Please come in," she said happy to see her former master. He walked in and took a seat, "Would you like a drink?" she asked.

"Yes please, we need a chat Tifa."

After they had their drink, Zangan stood, "Tifa, lets train, my DoJo is still in operation in this town."

She looked at Cloud, then back to Zangan. She was unsure what to do.

Cloud got up and walked to her. "Tifa, you told me you want to get back in shape. Remember how exhausted you were fighting that Dragon earlier."

"I was, but we are here to relax. to get away from things. The monsters are diminishing, there is no need for me to fight anymore. The WRO can handle things. Cloud I just want to live a peaceful life with the man I love. I want to be a real mother, I want to have your children."

At that Cloud nodded, "I appreciate that, and I want those things for us too. But, we are still young, we have time for all that."

She looked between Cloud and Zangan, and walked out of the living room.

She returned a few minutes later, wearing her Avalanche outfit, her gloves in her hand. turning to Cloud she spoke to him, "This skirt is little tight on me Cloud," she then turn to her master who was sat on the sofa, 'I've decided, I want to return to the slim figure I had when I helped fight Shin-Ra."

She walked toward the front door, with Zangan following. "I will not be your sparring partner, I am too old to do it these days, instead I have arranged for a new sparring parter for you. One who is in need of a partner." She looked at him, and nodded.

A couple of minutes later they were stood outside of Zangan's dojo, sounds of combat could be heard from within. Tifa was concerned, "Sounds like he's utilising the training simulator again." Zangan muttered.

'Training simulator' she wondered, knowing when she trained here there was none of these technological wonders.

As if sensing her question Zangan explained the upgrade, "The WRO planned to use this dojo as a training facility to train their recruits when the deepground incident started. However since that threat was neutralised they withdrew, but left this training simulator in place."

He opened the door and allowed her to enter first.

Inside, he led her toward the old dojo, where she had spent many hours training over the years before the town was destroyed. "Alright, before we start your training I want you to show me kata #5 then I want you to go into #9."

She sighed, realising she could not remember them, since she had not practiced them for years. She dropped into a stance and started a kata, praying it was the correct one.

When she was finished Zangan had a neutral expression and she was breathing heavily and holding her waist due to lactic acid buildup in her muscles. "Alright relax. Tifa I am disappointed here. You shouldn't be this tired after all these kata's are only for warm-up to prepare you for the days training. However, I will not go easy. You will not spar as in this state you are not ready to do so, Michael will be disappointed but maybe in a couple weeks."

Tifa straightened and squared her shoulders, "I will not give up, let us train I am ready."

Zangan smiled, "Alright, first I want you to..."

A couple of hours later Tifa was in the Training centre fighting against a small group of 3 simulated ninja's who were currently surrounding her and closing in to finish her off. When she felt a surge of power from deep within, 'A limit break? Not had one of these for a long time.' she thought as she rushed over to the first ninja performing a Somersault on him, then over to the second to do a Meteodrive, then a Dolphin Blow to the third, seeing the three of them getting back up she finished them all off with a final Heaven. She stood in the centre of the training centre standing tall with the ninja's fading out. She looked at Zangan who was watching her from the window.

He ended the training program and walked into the room. "That's the Tifa I remember hearing about. I knew you were still there, as for Michael well I shall arrange for your first sparring session with him tomorrow, now go home get some rest."

Tifa left the dojo, and returned to the house she was staying at with Cloud. At the front door she realised she hadn't got a key to get inside, so knocked the door. A familiar older woman answered after a short wait. "Doctor JoJo, what are you doing here?" Tifa asked walking inside.

She saw Cloud sitting on the sofa, "Mother, is alive?" he was saying over and over. She was concerned so rushed over to him.
