In the meantime, Naruto and Mu-12 are in for a confrontation against Hazama.

"Well, well, well, if it isn't the Nine-Tails and Kusanagi," the evil man smirked on the sight of them.

"We're here to stop you, Captain Hazama!" Naruto exclaimed with a fist.

"Sure you will, Naruto," Hazama turns excitingly to his companion. "Let me guess. Falling in love with a puppet, huh?"

"She's not a puppet, you dolt! She's a person!" the blond retorted. "She told me everything; how she's not really human, how she's never meant to exist at all! I don't care any of those things regarding her! She's still human, and that she is living here, right now!"

"Hahahaha. The love between a human and a Murakumo Unit. How nice!"

"Shut the hell up!"

Naruto jumps to the evil man and makes a barrage of punches to his face. The last punch sends him to a wall.

"Heh heh heh. If that's your way of thinking about her, then you shall die with her!" Hazama pulls out his butterfly knife and lunges at him, but Mu blocked him. "Huh?"

"Leave him alone!" she slashed him upward, then focuses on the ninja. "Naruto, it's time!"

"Right!" he knows what this means, so he is about to unleash another power that is beyond his growth. "Ready, Nine-Tails?"

"Ready," the Nine-Tails replied in his mind.

With this, Naruto is covered with the Nine-Tails aura once again.

"So this is the power of the Nine-Tails. It matters not. Before you fight me, allow me to introduce you to your former acquaintances," Hazama turns his attention to Mu.

"Former acquaintances?" the Murakumo Unit asked.

The villain side sweeps to his left, revealing two people; one is a blue-haired girl and the other is a lavender-haired girl.

"What?!" Mu is shocked as if she knows who they are. "Mai and Cajun?!"

"Noel, you know these two?" Naruto asked his girlfriend.

"Yes, I know them! They were my classmates back at the Academy!"

"Is that you, Noel?" Mai asked in wonder.

"Yes, it's me, Mai," Mu replied, deciding to show her true form to her former classmates.

"What happened to you?" Cajun asked two questions. "Who is this glowing guy?"

"Should I tell them my story?"

"Yes, you should," Naruto replied with a smile.

"You see, Mai, Cajun..." Mu started.

She told them about how she's not human at all, she's just a Murakumo Unit made by Terumi that was adopted by the Vermillion couple, Edge and Claire. While fighting against him in Kagutsuchi, she was turned back into her true form as a weapon of mass destruction, but Ragna awakened her mind. Later on, she got Rachel's help of obtaining this power. Therefore, she is in control of her powers, and her true form.

"That is quite a story," Mai understood. "Now I know why Jin treats you like crap."

"By the way, how is he?" Cajun asked.

"Great. After I beat him in combat, he doesn't treat me like trash anymore," Mu replied with a smile.

"Really?!" the two former classmates are amazed by this.

"Yes, really."

With this, there is no reasonable doubt for them to believe in this story, so they nodded.

"Now, who is this guy?" Mai asked, turning to Naruto.

"Mai, Cajun, this is Naruto. He's my boyfriend," Mu replied.

"Boyfriend?! Really?!" the two girls are in for a surprise.

"Yes, really."

Also, they believed her with this, so they nodded.

"If you're curious about his aura, he has control of the Nine-Tails," Mu added.

"Um, I hate to interrupt this little reunion, but you two should fight them," Hazama instructed and they froze.

"Not good, Noel. Not good," Naruto said as he looks at their black eyes. "See those black eyes they have?"

"Yes, why?" Mu asked.

"They're under the Reanimation, that's what!"

"Reanimation? What's that?"

Naruto told her of the Reanimation technique that is used to bring back the dead. It involves with fighting someone who is already dead, especially the one's they love. This is because their bodies are being controlled against their will.

"Then that means..." Mu is in shock upon hearing the explanation.

"That's right. Mai and Cajun are dead because he killed them," her boyfriend finished.

"Terumi! You will pay for killing them!" she turns her attention to the villain.

"Ooh, I'm so scared! Anyway, I'll leave you two lovebirds with these two," Hazama said before leaving.

"Not good!" Naruto said as Mai charges with a rapier on her hands to the Murakumo Unit.

"I'm sorry, Noel! I don't have control over my body!" she's just lucky Mu blocked the attack.

"It's okay, Mai! I know your body is just being controlled by this technique!" her friend replied back.

The two have their talk while exchanging blows from their swords. As for Naruto, he dodged the attack from Cajun.

"I'm sorry, Naruto! My body is moving on its own!" the latter cried.

"Don't worry about it! You're not to blame!" the ninja assured after having to dodge another attack from her. They exchange blows with their fists and kicks, and Cajun is quite good since she can analyze people's thoughts easily.

In the meantime, Mu is focusing on blocking Mai's attacks. She summoned various objects in space to fire at her, but she blocked the attacks with her rapier. Once that is done, Mai slashes her.

"Oh no! What have I done?!" she is horrified of this. "I'm so sorry, Noel!"

"Like Naruto said, don't worry about it! Besides, I know the real you wouldn't want to hurt me!" the Murakumo Unit reassured, then turned to Naruto after he has to exchange blows with Cajun. "Naruto, you've encountered this before?"

"Yes, I did," he thought back on encountering the resurrected Itachi and Nagato when Kabuto used the Reanimation technique.

"Let's end this once and for all."

"Agreed."

The two charge on the reanimated girls, ready to stop this once and for all.
