Chapter 21: Takashi vs Tsunoda
It was 2:30 AM when Takashi woke up next to Saeko and Saya, rubbing his eyes and stretch himself. The hours of lovemaking didn't tire him at all, he's still full of energy, a little too much he assumes.
'That's strange, I feel a little too excited.' Takashi thought.
He carefully rolls out of the bed without a sound, put on his clothes and quietly exist the room without waking Saeko and Saya. Walking down the long hallway deep in thought, exciting and anticipating something, or someone.
'Why am I feeling like this?' Takashi thought to himself as he walks out into the backyard.
The moonlight pours into the pond that contains dozens of Koi, then reflect back into the sky, causing a beautiful light show. Takashi much enjoy the light show, until he notices something is missing. The pond is empty, the Koi are nowhere to be found. Takashi takes a closing look of the pond and notices all the fishes are huddling into the corner.
'There you guys are, come out here. Is a good night.' Takashi says as he picks up the treat bag next to the pond and tosses in some treat. Oddly enough, all of them stay in the corner and not wanting to come out as if they are afraid of something.
'…..Alright, I guess if you guys don't want to come out, I can't force you' Takashi place the treat bag back.
'I wonder how the front gate is doing' Takashi thought as he strolls into the mansion and head for the front.
'It seems like I'm not the only one that has trouble sleeping tonight' Takashi smile as he walks towards Igo who stands near the window of one of the hallways looking into the street filled with the dead.
'Trouble sleeping?' ask Takashi, causing Igo to jump in surprise.
'Christ, you walk like a cat.' says Igo.
'Ninja style' smirk Takashi.
'What's keeping you up?' ask Takashi. Igo lowers his eyes.
'Is about Rei. At first, I thought it won't bother me seeing her love you again, I know that I was just a rebound crash. Therefore I was prepared, but I was not.' Igo fought back the tears but it wasn't successful.
'I understand how you feel, when Rei promise to marry me, I thought I was the happiest man in the world and is not the idea of marriage that brings me happiness, it was the feeling of finally feeling wanted by someone.' Takashi says as he wraps his arms around his friend to comfort him.
'What should I do?' says Igo as he returns the embrace.
'The heart wants what the heart wants, you can't control your feeling any more than you can control hers, and to do so will be cruel. Sometimes is best to let things go, it will hurt but you will recover. I believe that' says Takashi.
Igo seems to relax after hearing that.
'Thanks Takashi, I still feel awful but I will take your advice and tried to move on from this pain.' Igo breaks the embraces.
'So. I never get to ask you on what is keeping you up?' Igo question.
'I am a little startled, I feel like something is coming.' Says Takashi.
'In here? Takashi you saw this place, the security is insane! I don't think anything can come in here, with the electric fence, and the amount of military artillery can wipe this city flat.' Says Igo.
'You may be right, but still, I can't calm down. I am going to check the front gate in for the sake of it, do you want to come along?' says Takashi.
'Heck. Why now? It can't hurt, and I don't think I can felt asleep now that you say that.' Igo shrug.
When they reach the front gate, they can see the Takagi family's private army standing guard. Outside the fence, the undead gathers. Those creatures are not smart enough to know the concept of electric fence and try their best to get in, Takashi and Igo stand and watch them one by one drop to the ground. Soon, all the corpses create a second barrier in front of the fences.
'You know, this is quite interesting to watch. But like I say, I don't think there's any chance of them getting in.' says Igo.
Takashi walks up to one of the guards.
'How's the situation looking?' Takashi asks one of the guard name Joe. Joe turn around looking annoyed.
'Why should I report to you kid? Isn't this supposed to be your bedtime?' Joe ask.
'Hey, there's no need to be a jerk, my friend just want to know are we safe here' says Igo.
'Oh, we are perfectly safe alright. We have enough weapon to wipe out this city, and enough food and power to keep this place running for years. At least that is the ways it supposed to be until you guys came along.' Joe says bitterly.
'How's the situation looking?' Takashi asks without caring about what Joe just say. Joe glare at Takashi who is probably half his age.
'You know, kids like you should just stay in bed and be grateful that we let you in. However, if you really desire to know so you can sleep tonight without wetting your bed, I can guarantee you that the situation is totally under control. Nothing is getting in and we are having fun seeing them try.' Joe speaks loud enough for every guard to hear him, some chuckle.
'Now, off you go. Back to your bed holding a teddy bear.' Joe Mock. More chuckle, add in some laughter. Takashi didn't seem to hear Joe, he has his eyes fix pass him, and so is Igo, although Igo looks petrified.
'Hey guys, I think I scare these boys, they look like a deer caught in the headlight.' Joe laugh, but no one is laughing with him this time.
'….What's wrong with all of you? You all look like a deer caught in the hea…' Joe turned around and saw what they are looking at. A creature that stands thirty feet tall walk towards the fence, its eye stare intensely at the people on the other side of the fence. All six of its limps twitch, excited for action. When it walks within range, it picks up one of its legs backward. Knowing what it is doing, Takashi turns pale. He, Joe and Igo are standing directly in front of the gate.
'GET AWAY FROM THE GATE!' Takashi shouts as he turns and grabs Igo who is still frozen with fear and run as fast as he can. Creature's feet swing towards the gate and bust it open like it was made of paper. Debris, Undead, pieces of front gate mix with pieces of Joe fly into the air and come crashing down onto the mansion.
'OPEN FIRE! SHOOT THAT THING!' All guards open fire, but the creature doesn't seem to mind the bullet at all as they bound off its body, its eye fix on Takashi the entire time.
'It wants me!' Takashi can feel it, he puts Igo down. Igo seems to be still frozen with fear. Takashi slaps him across the face hard and knocks him out of a daze.
'Igo! Listen to me, get into the mansion and make sure everyone is ok. Tell them to collect as many supplies as they could, we cannot stay here anymore!' Takashi shouts. Igo weakly nods his head.
'What…what are you going to do Takashi?' Igo ask.
'I will stay here and hold that thing back as much as I can' Takashi says, looking back at the creature as it stomps three guards flat, undead are also walking through the open entrance.
'NOW GOO!' Takashi yells and Igo turns and run as fast as he can towards the mansion. Takashi turns and walks towards the creatures.
'ALL OF YOU! HOLD YOUR GROUND! I'LL FIGHT THE BIG ONE! HOLD BACK THE LITTLE ONE FOR ME!' Takashi shouts to those who are still alive. The soldiers seem a little hesitance. Takashi takes a deep exhale and launch himself towards the creature's mid-section leaving a crater at where he stood, spinning his body vertically and trust both of his legs into its stomach. The impact was so powerful, that the creature's eye widen, its body slouch and it fell back to the ground causing a semi earthquake.
'DID YOU GUYS HEAR ME?!' Takashi shouts again.
'YES SIR!' that's all they need to see and they begin opening fire at the hoard of undead coming in.
The giant creature picks itself back on its feet quickly.
'Xavier, are you awake?' Takashi talks into his earpiece, which is not there.
'Darn it, I left it in the bedroom. Guess I am on my own here, I hope everyone in the mansion is ok.' Takashi thought. The giant create took a step forward to draw one of its fists back, Takashi runs towards two of the guards and snatches the Machetes off of their waist.
'Let me borrow these!' Takashi draws out both machetes and runs towards the creature as fast as he can, slice and dice through all undead that stands in his way like they are made of tofu. As a giant's fist come towards Takashi, he jumps high into the ground and dodges the punch completely. He then swings both machetes down and makes two huge cuts on the creature's eye before its fist hits the ground. BOOOOOM.
The impact was substantial, the whole ground shakes. If Igo hadn't wake anyone up yet, they should be awake now.
'Good, it's strong but not fast. I can keep slicing him away until there's nothing left.' Takashi smile with confidence. However, he failed to notice that the creature's fist cause thousands of spike to shoot up from underground near the place of impact, killing some of the guards and undead.
'HOLY SHIT!' many guards back away.
'HELP! HELP ME! Help…help…me' one of the guards that get impaled by the spike cried out to his comrades, but they can do nothing but watch him got his life force to drain out of him. His skin slowly turns pale, his hair turns white, and his skin loosens until he looks like a dry corpse.
'He can drain blood!? Then I will have to kill it fast!' Takashi who was standing on the creature's shoulder run towards the head, aiming to cut off its head and put this thing out of misery. It raises its other hand, prepares to strike again at Takashi.
'It can't see me right….' Takashi dodge out of the way and into the air just in the nick of time as the creature's fist punch into where Takashi was a mere millisecond ago. A huge amount of stream erupts from the creature's head.
'It looks like you do more than just draining blood.' Takashi says as he starts falling from the sky. The creature glared at its prey, and thousands of tentacles shoot out from its head and aim towards Takashi.
'Oh you want to eat me?' Takashi smirk. All tentacles shot towards him in a blinding speed, but to Takashi, those tentacles are moving in slow motions. Takashi spins his body around and picks up momentum in the air, spinning so fast that to others he looked like a blending machine. Any tentacles that come near him get shredded as Takashi descend upon the creature's head.
'DIE YOU FREAK!' Takashi slice through the eye again, and deeper this time. He landed on the ground and run straight back up to its head using the arm, slices through the creature's head horizontally, and half of its eye and head landed on the ground behind it. A massive amount of blood pour out of its head like a foundation, its chest opens up, revealing massive teeth and a long tongue. The creature let out a screeching cry as it stumbles backward, the whole ground shake.
'So you do have a mouth, don't worry, it will be over soon.' Takashi runs towards it again. The creature, not knowing where Takashi is, slam both of its fists into the ground, causing spikes to form out of the ground. With superhuman instinct, Takashi dodge, jump, and slice through all the spikes that were near him, he notices that spikes also impale a lot of undead, draining blood out of them.
'You will not heal in time!' Takashi shouts as he runs up it arm again aiming to slice its head clean off this time. Takashi draws his machetes back to deliver a horizontal slice to finish it off. However, before the machete makes a contact with its neck, it was stopped by someone's bare hand. Takashi's eyes widen and he stares at the hand that stops his machete.
'Now, now. The show is just getting started asshole.' Tsunoda smiles maniacally, as he punches Takashi in the face so hard that sonic burst can be heard. Takashi flew into the air and barely landed on the ground on his feet. Takashi struggles to get himself in balance from the hit, the ground shake and he couldn't feel his face.
'How do you like that asshole?' Tsunoda jumps from the creature's shoulder and landed in front of Takashi. He walks over to Takashi and grabs him by the hair, 'I'm gotta enjoy ripping you into pieces, then I will...' Tsunoda's head jerk to away as a bullet enters his brain.
'OPEN FIRE!' all guards ignore the undead horde in front of them and begin unloading their guns onto Tsunoda. Tsunoda's body falls to the ground as the guards continue pumping his body with bullets, his body twitching back and forth until everyone ran out of bullets. Silence, the body remains still.
'Well, that was easy. Guess we caught a lucky break!' One of the guards says as he wipes the sweats off of his forehead.
'GET AWAY FROM HIM!' Takashi shouts as tentacles shoot out from Tsunoda's body, impaling multiple guards and turn their body into mummies within seconds.
'FALL BACK! FALL BACK! THE HORDE ARE CLOSE! FALL BACK!' Takashi shouts towards the guards. They didn't need to be told twice, they turn and run as fast as they can back to the mansion in fear. Takashi stood up and face the horde, ready to cut them all down.
'STOP! YOU MOTHERFUCKERS!' The horde stops their advance instantly. Tsunoda's body raises from the ground, supported by the tentacles. His wound heals quickly and bullets are being pushed out of his body.
'I want this one for myself.' Tsunoda grin.
'Hey there asshole, long time no see, how's that bitch Saeko doing? Is she dead yet?' Tsunoda grin.
'I don't know how you become like this nor do I care, but how about we save the talking until after I kill you?' Takashi runs towards Tsunoda with blinding speed, slicing off the tentacles that support him.
Tsunoda loss support from his tentacles and fell too to the ground, but not before getting his face sliced in two by Takashi. Tsunoda heals instantly and try to grab Takashi with his arms, Takashi slice off his arms and thrust one machete through his throat and the other on his head.
'How you get this power, I don't know, but your combat experience is dismal' Takashi says as he pulls out his machetes and ducks down to avoid another punch by Tsunoda, then he slices off both Tsunoda's leg that's knees down.
'FUCKING DAMN YOU ASSHOLE!' Tsunoda felt to his knees as both of his legs got cut off.
'YOU CAN'T DO THIS FOREVER, AND I CAN NOT DIE, I WILL GET YOU EVENTUALLY!' Tsunoda grin manically.
'And when I finally have you on your knees, I enjoy fucking your bitch as you are dying. Then I will…' Takashi's machete comes down on Tsunoda's head, cutting his head along with his body into two pieces.
'Funny for you to say that while being on your knees.' Takashi answers.
'Then I will finally eat you, and I will do it very slowly, motherfucker,' Tsunoda says in a desynchronize voice as tentacles shoot out from his body and merge him again.
'How is he doing this, I have regeneration ability too, but this is far beyond any level of regeneration than I have ever seen.' Takashi thought.
Tentacles shoot out from Tsunoda's body start attacking Takashi, Takashi slices them and run towards Tsunoda, Tsunoda make another attempt to grab Takashi. Takashi cut off his arms again and stab both of his machetes into Tsunoda's chest, one of the machetes pierce Tsunoda's heart.
Takashi let go one of his machetes and pull out the machete that pierces Tsunoda's heart, he then sticks his hand into the opening of the chest, breaks through the ribcages, and grab hold of Tsunoda's bleeding heart.
'Try to regenerate from this!' Takashi says as he pulls Tsunoda's heart out of his chest.
'AGGGHHHHH! HAHAHA!' Tsunoda smile as his own tentacles piece through his back and into Takashi's stomach.
'I knew I will get you.' Tsunoda smirk.
'Is…is not possible, you can't be immortal!' Takashi says as blood gush out from his mouth. Tsunoda pulls his tentacles out of Takashi's body and both men collapse to the ground, Tsunoda's tentacles took the heart out of Takashi's hand and put it back into its owner. Then in an instant, Tsunoda is back on his feet again.
'Now…..How should I kill you?'
'Takashi!' Someone scream from behind, it was Kohta, and behind him was everyone else.
'Oh, hey fatass, wait your turn. You're next.' Tsunoda says. His smile vanishes, however, when he saw that Kohta is carrying a Gatling gun.
'That is assuming I don't turn you into a hornet's nest first.' Kohta takes aim and opens fire, but due to the recoil of the gun, Kohta shoots way over Tsunoda and ended up firing at the horde.
'Ha! Fatass can't even ai….!'
Takashi took advantage of the distraction, grab Tsunoda by the throat and toss him into where Kohta is firing as hard as he can. Bullets piece through Tsunoda's body like it is made of butter.
'YEA! EAT THIS YOU BASTARD!' Kohta screams over the gunfire.
Saeko runs towards Takashi and holds him close.
'Takashi you scare me to death! Never do that again!' Saeko cry.
'I'm fine.' Takashi smile, although he is worrying why the wound that was cost by the tentacles aren't healing.
'You do well holding them back yourself, but now you don't have to do it along.' Soichiro says as he unsheathes his katana in front of the horde.
'I will do my best too.' Yuriko smile and wink at Takashi as she pulls out two sub-machine gun strap to her legs.
'Takashi! I was so worried too!' Saya hug Takashi.
'Hey! Can you be more vigilant? This is not a game you know.' Saeko pulls Takashi away.
'I can say the same thing to you.' Saya fire back.
'GIRLS! Let's get rid of the problem in front of us for now.' Takashi cried out.
'Hahaha! It must be tough standing between the two of them Takashi' Smile Soichiro as he begins cutting down the undead that got through the firing squad.
'Saeko, don't forget to give Takashi the present.' Yuriko smile.
'What is she talking about?' Takashi was a puzzle.
Saeko hand Takashi one of the katana she was holding.
'Now I'm back in my zone.' Takashi grin.
'AAAAHHHHHHH! WHY WON'T ALL OF YOU DIE?!' Tsunoda scream as his body begin to expand, giving off a sickly odor, then finally he exploded, causing a huge shock way blowing everyone back.
'Did he, just kill himself.' Kohta gets back up to his feet.
'Oh god, the smell!' Anna holds her nose.
'Hmph! Is a fitting ending for someone like him.' Rei says.
'Don't let your guard down now, undead is coming through the gate.' Igo says.
'Takashi! You friend want me to give you this.' Morita tosses Takashi's headphone.
Takashi catches it and put it into his ear.
'Takashi! Is so good to hear your voice again!' Xavier cried out.
'Xavier, what the heck was that, how did Tsunoda get so powerful?' Takashi asks.
'The signal that he gives out is very similar to the one Heller has, weaker, but similar. I don't know how he gets so powerful, I'm trying to figure that one out myself. For now, you should brace yourself! There are multiple mutant signals in your area.' Xavier says.
'What are you talking about? There is only regular undead here unless you count the big one that Tsunoda brought with him and it's not doing anything but eating other undead, and we are doing a good killing the one that it didn't eat.' Right after Takashi says that couple undead begins to change.
Their body twitches and begins to expand, skin peer away relieving the pink flesh underneath. Body structure swift from man to beast, within seconds, they become mutant undead like the one Takashi encounter back in Alice's school.
'God darn it, how can they mutant at will?' Takashi though. After he takes a closer look, it becomes clear, the undead is eating pieces of Tsunoda that were left behind after he self-destructed. One of the undead, however, didn't morph into the hunter, it morphs into a cocoon.
'Crap, this is not good!' Takashi dashes forward and pulls out his katana, intended to destroy the cocoon. Multiple hunters launch themselves towards him, Takashi jumps out of the way just in time as Kohta and Anna gun them down with Gatling gun.
'We got you cover Takashi! Go get that thing!' Anna shouts.
'Go Takashi! My wife and I will handle the regular ones.' Sochiro says as he slices down another undead.
'We will help too!' Rei said, standing alongside her is Igo
'I'm coming with you, my love!' Saeko declares.
'Saya! Get back to with the others and get yourself a weapon!' Takashi says before he runs towards the cocoon again with Saeko.
The first Hunter jump towards Takashi with its mouth wide open, Saeko twist around slice through its head, Takashi duck down and its body fly over him. Another one run towards Takashi at his side, Takashi jump upward to avoid getting grab. Takashi then steps on its head and use it to launch himself forward, Saeko finishes the hunter by stabbing its head when it fell to the ground. The giant behind the cocoon dig its hand into the ground, pick up a massive piece of it and hurdle at Takashi.
'Stand behind me Saeko!' Takashi grabs his Katana tight and slice through it vertically, the two pieces crushes two more hunters that were planning to attack them from behind. Now there's nothing between them and the cocoon.
'THIS IS IT!' Takashi and Saeko jump towards the cocoon.
'You are right! This is it asshole!' Tsunoda bust out of the cocoon and tackle Saeko in midair.
'LET GO OF ME!' Saeko scream and try to get Tsunoda off of her, but Tsunoda grab on tight.
'I always knew you have a nice pair of tits bitch.' Tsunoda grin and buried his face into Saeko's bosom
'Saeko!' Takashi eyes fill with anger as he runs towards Tsunoda, Tsunoda picks Saeko up and face her towards Takashi.
'I won't do that if I were you. Plus you better save us soon.' Tsunoda wink.
The giant creature that still stands at the gate of the mansion slam his fist into the ground and spikes begin to shoot out from the ground, piercing anything that is on the way.
Takashi panic, he dashes forward, grabs Saeko along with Tsunoda and tosses them out of the way of the spikes.
'NOOOOOO!' Saeko scream as she watches spikes go through Takashi's leg arm and chest, leaving him impale in the air. Everyone was shocked when they see Takashi defeated.
'HAHAHA!' Heller was right, it was effortless!' Tsunoda stood up and toss Saeko aside.
'YOU! BASTARD!' Saeko stabs her Katana right through Tsunoda's brain.
'Give it a rest, bitch.' Tsunoda grabs Saeko and punches her in the face, knocking her out.
'I will enjoy what I'm going to do to you after this is over.' Tsunoda licks his lips. All of sudden his field of vision blur as his body get knock away from Saeko several meters away, Tsunoda looks back and see Sochiro standing in front of Saeko and Yuriko is pick her up.
'You will not touch her as long as I live! Yuriko! Get her out of here! I will fight this demon until my dying breath.' Sochiro stands firm.
'AHAHA! How wise of you to know that you will lose to my might! Just letting you know, I will enjoy your daughter after I kill y-!' Tsunoda's head got smash into the ground before he got to finish what he was saying. Takashi stands before his enemy cover in blood, he grabs Tsunoda by the hair and pull his head out of the ground, and punch him again in the nose. The impact creates a shockwave as Tsunoda's body flew across the courtyard.
'Go…I'll deal with him. Take everyone out of here.'
'What about you? There's no way you can handle him in your current condition!' Sochiro argues.
'Please…..' Takashi turn around and look him in the eyes, Sochiro then understand what Takashi is trying to say.
'Saya will be furious, and so will Saeko.' Sochiro speaks softly.
'Takashi, please don't do stupid shit, that is my job. We can get through this. COME ON WE CAN DO THIS! DON'T YOU DARE TAKASHI!' Xavier speaks out from the headphone.
Takashi took the headphone out of his ear and toss it to Sochiro.
'Xavier plan to bring everyone onto his father's heli-carrier, he will direct you on where to go after you got out. Good luck…. And tell Saya and Saeko that I'm sorry.' Takashi turns around and dashes towards Tsunoda before Sochiro can say another word.
Sochiro stands still for what seems like an eternity for him until Saya calls out to him.
'Dad, what are you doing just standing there? We should help Takashi!' Saya cries out behind the defensive line. Sochiro took a deep breath and walk back towards Saya.
'RETREAT! WE ARE RETREATING! Get to the back of the mansion, there's getaway car that's big enough to fit all of you! Those of you who are able, hold off the horde, the rest of you, get yourself there now!'
'Wait for what?! Why are we retreating? Takashi is still here!' Rei questions.
'Takashi has made his choice to stay, and he wishes that we don't hinder his fight.' Sochiro response calmly.
'DON'T GIVE ME THAT BULLSHIT!' Saya screams at Soichiro's face.
'We will not leave Takashi behind!' Kohta and Anna say.
'We can't leave Onii-chan behind!' Alice cries out, Zeke bark at Sochiro.
'Takashi never abandon us, it will be wrong for us to do this to him!' Shizuka say, behind her Miku, Misuzu and Toshimi nod in agreement.
'We can still fight!' Igo and Morita say.
'I understand how you guys feel, but my men are decreasing in number, it is just a matter of time before we are overrun, we need to….DUCK DOWN!' Sochiro unsheathes his blade and prepares to cut down the hunter that sneak up behind them. It caught Soichiro's attack with its teeth, it easily wrestles the blade out of Sochrio's hand. It swings its claw at Sochiro, he ducks down and punches it in its chin. Hunter was unfazed, it comes at him again, Sochiro punches its chin two more times before getting tackled to the ground, and just before the hunter takes a bite out of Sochiro, Saya took the gun out of Anna's hand and blow its brain out.
'Don't hurt my dad!' tears flow from Saya's eyes as she lowers her gun and let it slip out of her hand.
'Saya! Watch out!' Toshimi knocks Saya out of the way as another hunter launch towards her, the hunter's teeth tear through Toshimi's shoulder like it was made of paper.
'NOOOOO!' Misuzu screams and runs towards her friend.
'Stop! Don't be stupid!' Sochiro scream.
Misuzu ignores the call from others and continues running towards her friend, the hunter pulls out its claw from its victim's body and runs towards Misuzu, Misuzu doesn't seem to notice as she keeps on running. Just before Hunter's claw reach its new victim, Misuzu was tackled the side by Morita.
'SHOOT IT! SHOOT IT QUICK!' Morita screams as Kohta fire up the Gatling gun. The hunter was extremely agile, it crawls in zigzag and it was able to avoid the gunfire. Just before it decides who it was its next victim, Tsunoda's voice ring through in its head. 'Bring me that one' it said.
The hunter continues to avoid gunfire as it approaches the group.
'Stop the Gatling gun boy!' Sochiro order, Kohta cease fire immediately.
Sochiro rushes forward with his katana in hand, the claws of hunter and clash with Katana, creating a spark. The blade was unable to cut through hunter's claw and Sochiro was knocked away by brute strength. Igo delivers a tornado kick, but the hunter was unfazed by his attack, it continues forward, knocking Igo to the ground.
'AHHHHH! STOP! DON'T EAT ME!' Miku screams as the hunter picks her up.
'NOOO!' Kohta and Anna aim their weapons once again, but knowing that they might hit Miku, they hesitated. Which give Hunter enough time to take Miku back to Tsunoda.
'We should go after her!' Shizuka shout.
'No! That thing is taking her to that monster, Takashi is there, let's put our faith on him. Plus, if we go there, we will just be a burden.' Sochiro says with dejected voice, one of his arms is bent at a weird angle, and there's blood on one side of his head.
'Toshimi! Toshimi!' Misuzu knocks Morita away now that the hunter is gone.
Misuzu runs towards her friend who's bleeding out on the ground.
'I…I…..Misuzu.' Toshimi tries to speak but she's losing strength quickly.
'Stop! Don't speak! You will be ok!' Misuzu panic.
'HELP HER! HELP HER PLEASE! WHY ARE YOU ALL JUST STANDING THERE!? IS JUST HER SHOULDER! WE CAN STOP THE BLEEDING AND SHE WILL BE FINE!' Misuzu screams at the other, but they all keep a distance, knowing that what is about to come of Toshimi. Misuzu turns back to Toshimi, holding her friend to her bosom and let her tears flow.
'Please…don't go, I forgive you for what you did back at the school….so please….don't leave me.' Misuzu cried.
Toshimi cries too after hearing Misuzu forgive her, with her last breath she pushes herself away from her best friend, and mouth the sentence 'we will always befriend'. She then turns to Kohta and smile. Kohta instantly know what she wants, he aimed at her forehead and pull the trigger.
'NOOOOOOOOO!' Misuzu break down and collapse to the ground crying.
'…we should get moving. Before more of us lost their lives' Sochiro command, everyone, to make their way to the getaway vehicle, Misuzu has to be carried by Morita.
(Back to Takashi's situation)
Tentacles shoot out from the ground was Tsunoda lay and held him high into the ground and gently letting him down.
'You are surprising hard to kill you know?' Tsunoda says to Takashi who is now covered in blood.
'No matter, you are on your last leg.' Tsunoda smirk as he walks towards Takashi.
'And if you think you being here and buying time, is to help the rest of the trash escape, then you are mistaken. The only thing you are doing is prolonging their suffering.' Takashi punches Tsunoda square in the face when he moves close enough, Tsunoda's body flies across the mansion, but Tsunoda picks himself back up in no time.
'I also want to give you a treat before you die.' Tsunoda smiles.
'Takashi! Takashi!' Miku cried out to him as the hunter drop her in front of Tsunoda.
'Baby, I'm hurt. Why would you cry out to another man when your boyfriend is right here?' Tsunoda grabs Miku's shoulder, causing her body to shiver.
'Let her go!' Takashi dash forward, but Tsunoda put his hand around Miku's throat, Takashi stops immediately.
'HAHAHA! You are so soft! You are so SOFT! That's why I should take your place after I kill you asshole!' Tsunoda tightens the grip on Miku's throat.
'What do you mean to take my place? What did Heller tell you?'
'Oh you don't know anything at all, the blood that flows in your body hasn't awakened yet. I believe you are unworthy of your power, therefore I should have it, ALL OF IT!' Miku's face begin to turn purple, Tsunoda let go of her throat before she passes out. Miku gasp for breath the moment Tsunoda let go of her throat.
'Go on, say your goodbye for the last time, don't worry though, you will meet him very soon in the afterlife.' Tsunoda grin.
Miku looks at Takashi, tears flowing out of her eyes, Takashi looks back with worry and regret that he didn't kill Tsunoda at the very beginning of the outbreak.
'Takashi…. I want you to know that none of this is your fault….. I'm sorry that…..I couldn't be more helpful to you….' Miku says in between sobs
'All my life I been dating jerks and asshole because of my own stupidly…I finally find a person that is righteous and cares about me….. I wish I could have met you sooner…. I wish I could have been more help to you….. Takashi….Takashi I…..I love…..' Miku's farewell was interrupt by Tsunoda as one of his tentacles stab through Miku's back and through her chest.
'NOOOOOOOOO!' Takashi cry out.
'This bitch takes too long.' Tsunoda says as he tosses Miku's body aside.
Takashi runs towards Tsunoda in a blink of an eye and delivers a vertical slash that cut Tsunoda down from the head to his groin. Tentacles shoot out from Tsunoda's body and wrap themselves around Takashi, Takashi didn't care and continue cutting Tsunoda until one of the tentacles went into Takashi's heart and begin absorbing Takashi's blood.
'Won't you give it a rest? I can't die!' Tsunoda laugh as Takashi's body went limp.
(Inside Takashi's sub-conscience)
'No….NO NO NO NO! I CAN'T LET IT END LIKE THIS!' Takashi screams but knows that he is powerless.
'Saeko, Rei, Miku, Igo, Saya, Alice, Morita, Anna, Kohta, Zeke, Shizuka, Misuzu, Toshimi, and Xavier. I'm sorry, I'm so sorry.' Tears were flowing out of Takashi's eyes.
'You are pathetic.' A voice answer, startle Takashi out of his grief.
'Who's there?' Takashi answers back, standing up now.
'I will tell you later, but not we should do something about our current situation, I am not losing to that weakling.'
'Fine, then give me power.'
'Ah! A demanding host, I like you already.'
Takashi's body begins to heat up, to the point that he felt that his blood is boiling, he's bones are melting. He let out a scream but there's no oxygen in his lung.
'Let rise some hell Takashi.'
