"Ok, I can do this...calm down."you tell yourself, holding your hand inhaling slowly as you exhale. Humming, two slices of bread start to levitate, next two pieces of cheese, with meat of any choice, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, mustard and the plate, slowly they come together. Opening one eye you look and see you made the sandwich. Jumping with joy, you squeal. Placing the sandwich down, you push yourself more getting some slices of bread than before, with the rest of indigents as you combine them, making a few more sandwiches, piling them on the plate until you finished the last one. You couldn't help bur smile ear to ear.
Though your powers where a little shaky you manged to use them, that day from the frogs something inside you when you went to go and save Rasputin and that younger frog allowed you to break from the hold that kept you in chains. You didn't know what it was, but whatever it was made you feel lighter than air as if something toxic was blown away.
Your whole mood changed, and the others could see it. Donnie ran a few test on you stating that you might have went through which he was still fascinated by a type of mutation. He stated though you had April's brainwaves and abilities you where able to tap into your very own, while still retaining your original ones. Since then you have been practicing with them, you get a hold of them down. And you where able too. Jumping up and down at what you where able to do, April and Casey heard you laughing as they stood at the entrance to the kitchen, hearing their snickers you stop turning around to them.
Embarrassed."Well someone seems happy."Casey tells you.
"I..umm...look."you tell them excited, holding your hand out as the cabinets started to open and close on their own, you turn to them smiling.
"Wow, you're getting better everytime."April praises you.
"Thank you sister, I am amazed myself at how fast a rate my powers are going."you tell her as you levitate the plate over to you.
"Sweet you made lunch."Casey was about to take one, but you move away from him."What gives?"
"These are the guys outside. To replenish their energy. They have been training for sometime, I felt it would be right to give them something."you tell him, as you open the fridge door taking out a pitcher of lemonade without looking you levitate four glasses over to you as well. April helps you closing the door.
"Hey I work just as hard."Casey protest as he follows you outside.
"Sure you do Jones."April teases him.
"I do."Casey tells her. Which just made April chuckle at him.
"So, May we have to do a food run. Want to come?"April asks as she opens the door for you.
"...I would not mind accompany you both, but I must stay back. I and clean up what I have done."you tell them, reaching outside you set the plate of sandwiches down on a stump the second you Mikey waste no time rushing over to you. Almost knocking you down while Casey and April make their way to he van.
"Food!"he screams at you, looking down at the sandwiches he starts to stuff his face.
"Michelangelo, save some for the others."you tell him, but he just ignored you.
"We're going for a food run."April tells them.
"Any request?"Casey asks.
You think about it, though before you could say anything Mikey does with his mouth full of food."Oh,oh spicy gummy worms please! I need them!"he gets on his knees.
"Yeah, that's not going to happen."Casey tells him.
"That store is tiny, it's the kinda place that has peanut butter or jelly."April gets into the vehicle."What about you May anything?"
You think about it."Yes."you name off somethings that you hoped they could get. April told you she would see what she could find, Casey starts up van and drives off. You turn to the others. Looking back at the half eaten plate of sandwiches."There is still sandwiches to replenish yourselves, and lemonade."Hearing a glupping sound, to find that Mikey had down the whole pitcher of lemonade."Never mind."you tell them.
"Thanks May, everything looks good."Raph thanks you, you smile at him.
"Always you know to make us feel good."Leo smiles at you, you nod your head.
"I have to go clean."you tell them."Though where is Donatello?"
"Sleeping."Mikey tells you while still stuffing his face."With underwear on his face."
You tilt your head to the side from his words, Raph shakes his head telling you to just ignore him. Leaving to go back inside to clean, when you step in you felt something off. Looking around to find nothing and no one.
Opening the fridge door to put away what you used, you wipe down when you heard someone come in sounded like they where in pain. Walking out, you make your way to the living room where find Leo grumbling as he sat down. Seeing him limp just a bit, you call to him.
"Leonardo, are you alright?"you go over to him asking, he turns to you while holding his knee. Which you look at it.
"It's nothing, really."he quickly tells you as he tries to move it to show you it was fine. But it only caused him pain, he grabs it again. You give him a little smile, going over to him, you gently lift up his leg and rest it on your lap. Using your finger you point to where it was hurting him. He didn't say nor do anything, his was stiff.
"...It is still bothers you, does it not?"you ask while looking at his knee. Carefully you place your hand upon it as you gently massage very slowly."How is that much better?"you look to him with a smile. Not knowing what to say, he just looks at you like a deer in the headlights."Is it working better Leonardo?"you asks him breaking his stare on you.
"Ah, ye-yeah."he stammers, you go back to massaging it, he just looks at you while you just hummed. A small soft smile comes to Leo, something was coming over him. When he looked at you, thinking back to when you first open your eyes, and from there the whole time line, how you where just a so curios and new to this world. He wouldn't call you weak just new, and now here you where presently looking stronger than before, adapting to everything around you. Learning to accept things while still learning, you didn't seem like someone who needed protection despite how tender and innocent you soul was. You hit a dark part in your life, something you didn't know what that was, but you manged to come out of it still able to retaining yourself. You healed everything dark to you, while he seem to dwell on it. Not realizing what he was doing until he saw you look up at him surprised.
Looking down he realized his hand was overs in way that one would do another who held feelings for."Leonardo, your hand."you look down at his hand then up at him.
Quickly he takes it back, looking away embarrassed by what he did."Sorry, I'm so sorry."he tells you. It was quiet between you two, exhaling hard, he turns around to you."May."he calls to you, you look at him. His blue eyes stare intensely into your golden eyes.
But you just smile at him."Yes Leonardo?"you wait for him to speak.
"Look, I never got to tell you how sorry I am. That you where hurt by the Shredder, I should have told you to flee. But I didn't and because of that you where put in a dark place. I told you I would protect you, because that is what a warrior does but I failed on that part."he drops his head."I know why my knee still bothers me, because I never could let go of what I put you through. I was helpless and powerless, while the Shredder had you in his grasp, I just you let be there. By a being of pure darkness, which tainted you. Your injuries are all because of me. My promise to you broke..."his voice drops you listen as he beat himself up.
Using one of your hands placing it under his chin you lift up his head so he could look at you. You show no ill will towards all that he said, you smile at tenderly as you eyes remained calm and warm.
"Leonardo, it is alright. Do not worry about the past, I am well. Do not allow such negative words to pile up and bury you. If this is something that you feel is holding you back, than hear my words as clear as day. All is forgiven."
Leo smiles at you, taking hold of your hand. Holding it tightly."Thank you May."he tells you laughing a bit. Making you giggle just a bit, holding onto your hand tighter he pulls you in, and before you knew it he was kissing you.
"Oh, good see all he needed was a bit of rest."Raph looks at Leo, while Mikey was using a marker to draw on his face.
"Raphael."you come around the corner, wiping your hands he looks to you, you smile at him."Have you and Michelangelo finished your training? Oh, Leonardo is sleeping. I did not hear him come in."you go over Raph's side as you look down at the sleeping Leo. When you noticed the drawings on his face."Why is there black markings all of Leonardo's face?"
"That would be because of me."Mikey takes credit for it, he then holds out the marker for you."Want to try?"Raph pushes him away from you.
"Ignore him..."he scuffs at younger brother when he yawns."I think I'll take a nap too."He stretches.
"Alright."you look down at Leo."I wonder what is he is dreaming about?"
"Ohhhhhh, I know...gumdrops!"Mikey throws in, you look at him. As you thought about it.
"Mikey don't be stupid..."Raph tells you as he takes a seat in the chair."Thanks again May for the food, when I wake up we can go for a walk, there is this place in the woods th-"
Mikey comes in"Ohhh, you're going to take her on a sweet alone time...Awww how cute."he teases his brother, who just growls at him.
You couldn't help but giggle at the two of them. Placing a hand on Raph's hand calming him down he looks up at you, while you smile down at him."Alright."you agree to go. Patting his hand, he smiles at you.
Mikey slowly comes over."Are you going to kiss her?"he whispers to his brother, getting under his skin. He stands up quickly about to hit his younger brother who becomes scared as he hops over the sofa Leo was on. You step inbetween them both calmly soothing your hot-tempered boyfriend. You gently push him down back into the chair so he take his rest. Giving him a kiss, wishing him a good rest walking away. But warn Mikey not to upset him.
Going back to cleaning the kitchen, you stay in there for about a half an hour. Once you finished you leave, going outside finding a nice spot. Sitting down enjoying the peace and calm. Though you didn't mind when others trained and all the eccentric things that happened on the farm. As you relaxed, your minded wondered to what was happening in the city, you wonder and worried about your father, Master Splinter and the other innocent people being turned into mutants by the Kraang, and the Shredder's tyrannic rule.
Sighing to yourself, you longed to go back to help out. You could only imagine, calming your mind as you focus yourself, your mind. You listen to everything around you, the wind whistling, the rustle of the leaves, the sounds of nature and all around. A golden light outlines you, as you slowly lift up off the ground. Just a few inches off, next thing you felt as if some part of you was separating from your body, this astonished you. You look around, looking at yourself you where transparent. As if a spirit, and you where floating in the air.
You jerk up looking at yourself, you where no longer transparent, but solid. Touching yourself, things where as they where. You didn't know what just happened to you.
Honk!Honk!"Hey May!"Casey yells to you, looking he and April where back now. He parks the van, they get out with the food they bought. Getting up you go over to greet them.
"Welcome back."you greet them both."Do you need any help?"
"No, we have it."April tells you holding the box of food. She goes inside you follow her with Casey not to far behind."So how was everything?"she asks putting the box down unloading the food, you help her.
"Fine, all of the brothers have fallen asleep."you tell her.
"That's good, they're resting."April
"So we're out doing something and their just sleeping?"Casey complains.
"I'm sure Donnie is on look out."April tells him.
"No sister, he is asleep as well."you tell her.
"All of them are asleep?"she as shocked by this. You nod your head."That's strange."she leaves with Casey following behind as they go up the stairs.
While you finished putting the food up. Once you finished you go to check up on the guys, all three brothers where still sleeping, Mikey slightly twitched. Leo was laid out on the sofa, and lastly Raph. All of them still asleep, thinking they would like blankets you go to get some, putting one on Raph, when you sensed something amiss.
"Raphael..."you touch him, the second you jerk your hand back in fright. There was this presence, and evil presence. Looking to Leo, you touch him feeling the samething from him, and Mikey. You try to wake them up but they did not. Pancaking you kept trying to wake them up, but they did not."Sister!Sister! April! Casey!"you scream for them. Turning back to the boys you shake Raph again."Raphael, wake up. Wake up please!"you start to become hysterical. But he did not wake up, putting your hand on his forehead, something felt like it was slipping away, you kept screaming for him.
Casey and April come down, Casey was dragging Donnie who was just like his brothers. Putting him on the floor, you turn to them."Their the same here too..."April comes over to you. Casey kicks Donnie."That's not going to work."
"Sister, what is wrong?!"you search her for answers, she looks at Raph.
"It seems that their trap in their dreams."she tells you.
"H-how can they be trapped in their dreams?!"you try to comprehend this."Dreams are meant to only function when one has fallen into a rest for just a couple of hours to replenish ones energy levels! It is not to hold you hostage. How do we wake them up?"you grip onto her arm tightly. She places a calming hand on you.
"Calm down, May."she tells you."Everything will be alright. We'll find a way."
Your eyes search hers, she knew you where scared and lost not understand why this was happening. Your breathing was raid but it slowly started to return to normal."...What can we do?"
"Mikey though actually looks ok."Casey gets both you and April's attention she goes over to him, he was smiling.
"Yeah, but his pulse is getting weaker, the all are."April tells him worried."None of them have a fever."she gets down to Donnie."But I feel something strange, that is draining the life out of them."
"Can you and May try to get through to them some how?"Casey asks looking at you.
April holds onto Donnie's head."We can try."
"You know that guy Bernie was asking if we where feeling tired. Also that weird book he had."Casey remembers.
"The Somniorum..that means Latin for dream."April remembers something.
Casey goes and gets his bat."I'll go see what's in that book. You two do what you can here."As he leaves.
April looks at you."You take Leo and Raph, I'll have Mikey and Donnie."she tells you, you nod your head inhaling to keep yourself calm."And May, please be-careful"she tells you, before you went in.
"You as well sister."you tell her, sitting down you clear your mind. You feel your body start to slowly separate finding yourself in that that transparent form. Looking to both Raph and Leo. You go into Raph first, and what you saw scared even you, he was tied to a chair by snakes with loud rock music being played in the back as fire spit out, this place was twisted and psychotic. Raph himself looked horrified by it all, he was trying to scream but he couldn't as his mouth was gagged by snakes.
"Raphael!"you call to him, as you fly straight to him, he was surprised to see you here. You look at him worried but relieved he was in a sense alright. Trying to figure out how to free him, you start to take the snakes off."Hold still, I shall get you out."Your focus on Raph you did not see what slithered behind you. But Raph saw he tries using his eyes to tell, as he started to fuss."Raphael please do not move, I will get you out and help you wake up. Please stay sti-"you stop as you saw the look in his eyes and what reflected off them, turning around.
You gasp at the sight of the giant white snake who looks hungrily at you its mouth gaped wide open. In lighting speed it goes to strike you, which you move just in time, but it kept coming after you. You try to escape it, but it was much quicker than you. It coils around, as it squeezes you. You struggle to get out hearing a manic laugh, from the fire rises a orange large beaver. With sharp claws and teeth.
"Well, well...a new meal."he tells you licking its lip. Opening his mouth he goes to devour you. Telling yourself to wake up, you do. Gasping for air you forced yourself out of Raph's mind, his dream. Still in your transparent form, your heart was racing fast. As you shiver from that tramic experience. Looking to Leo, you go into his mind in hopes to wake him up.
But once you went inside, you see him getting throw back slamming hard into some trees from the woods.
"Leonardo!"you call to him, and fly to him. Looking at him worried he might be hurt, but see nothing. You call to him once again, he grunts moving opening his eyes, his vision and hearing where off you sounded muffled to him, as you kept calling his name.
"Ow my head."he sits up, you come into full view he was surprised to find you here. You hug him as you help him up."M-May what are you doing here? It is really you, right?"he asks.
"Yes, it is. Leonardo, you must wake up, for you all in a dream. April and I have come to help. Please you are all in danger. These creatures in here are sucking you all dry."you inform him.
"A dream...but..."he thinks about it, when it made sense. All that he had been doing was nothing but a dream, he looks to you sadden. You look at him pleading that he listen to you as well hurry.
"Leonardo please..yo-"you where stop when you cackling laugh. Turning around the second you, something fuzzy and hard with nails slaps you back.
"May!"Leo screams your name, you hit a few trees with a hard impact of one that stopped you. Using his dream superpowers Leo hurries over to you."May are you ok?!"
He helps you up, feeling pain you rub your back. "Well, well what an interesting life force you have. I could feed off you for months. Who knows years."a dark deep voice echos through out the woods. Leo pushes you behind him.
"Be-careful."he tells you on his guard.
You look as well, ready. When some sort of shadowy figure darts by quickly. But it was gone when you looked. Looking left and right, you and Leo waited. Until the ground under you both collapases, Leo falls down screaming. To late you miss his hand, as you watch him fall.
"Leonardo!"you scream for him, but the ground swallowed him up. Hearing that dark chuckle.
"All alone little girl...my my..you sure look tasty."the voice tells you. You look around for where it was coming, that you did notice from above until you felt something wet looking you see a blue beaver come diving down with its mouth wide open."You're mine!"
"May!"April's voice calls to you, feeling someone pull on you. Making you wake up back in your own body.
Feeling someone pat you on the back it was April."Breath, just breath..."she tells you, your breathing was beyond rapid. You where shaking that you felt like collapsing your head was spinning, but April stayed with you. She just kept telling you to breath over and over again. And slowly you started to get it back. Just as you did Casey comes in with some old looking man while carrying a book.
The man did not seem surprised at all by the turtles though by the television. Casey quickly regains his attention demanding how they could help the others. They man who's name was Bernie explains about the creatures called Dream Beavers and what they could do. Telling you all about the device he had that kept them in their realm. To keep everyone safe.
Casey putting his friends first opens the book to show the small device. Realizing what he was about to do, Bernie tries to stop him, but was to late. By smashing the device Casey was able to wake up the others, but also set the Beavers free.
The guys start to wake up, April gives Donnie a kiss on the cheek to see he was well. As Raph wakes up, you go and hug him tightly almost knocking him over but he catches you by falling back into the chair. Landing in his lap.
"Raphael, you are okay."you tell him, he heard you whimper slightly. He hugs you back.
"Hey it's alright."he tells you"Okay."you nod your head, bringing yourself to look at him. He smiles at you, you smile back.
You both stand up, when realizing that what Casey did allowed the beavers to come through, everyone gets ready. As a purple black vortex forms, and in just a few seconds the Dream Beavers came out ready to take the world. When they realized compared to their dream world they where much smaller here. So they decided to leave.
"I'm just glad that's over."April sighs.
Bernie who couldn't believe what he had given up most of his life guarding passes out on the floor. So Casey and Donnie pick him up to take him back home.
"Man I was having the best dream."Mikey whines.
"We almost died, and your upset about that?"Raph rolls his eyes at his brother. He then turns his attention to Leo who was able to move his knee feeling much better."See, all you needed was to rest."he playfully punches his brother.
"Yeah."Leo agrees. You came over to them, they look up at you.
"Raphael, are we to go on the walk?"you asks him. His eyes light up, standing up hopping over the sofa.
"Yeah, didn't forget that."he tells you, taking you by your hand.
Mikey again points it out as he fawns over it, only to be rewarded by something being thrown at him in the face knocking him back."Shut up Mikey!"Raph yells to him now knocked out brother.
Leo shakes his head at Mikey while looking over his shoulder watching you and Raph leave. He saw how you both laughed and smiled. He smiles to but it was more a painful one. He looks at his knee. Placing a hand on it."It was just a dream.."
